Appearance[]
BBQ Sauce appears to be a bottle of barbecue sauce with a beige cap. He has a bright yellow sticker on his face with three stars, one big and two small, and two stripes on it, one big and one small.
Personality[]
BBQ Sauce seems to like singing, because when Coiny asked for something to eat, he broke out in song. He also seems to have a sarcastic sense of humor, as shown when he told Coiny there were steaks to eat but then claimed he was joking. He may be sociable too, as he said his friends were turned into sunglasses and that there were lots of pairs. The aftermath of certain situations can make him irritable, as shown in "Taste the Sweetness", where BBQ Sauce got mad at Pineapple for suggesting they eat ice cream after they had just been completely swarmed with customers from the episode's challenge about selling ice cream.

Gelatin[]
In "Meaty", BBQ Sauce says that Gelatin changed the steakhouse into a sunglasses shop after the rancid recession of 2013. After that, Gelatin forced BBQ Sauce and his friends to find other jobs or get killed and turned into consumable eyewear. From what BBQ Sauce says, he is afraid of and don't like Gelatin at all, which we can tell from the fact that his first instinct when encountering Gelatin was to hide and escape.
In "Taste the Sweetness", BBQ Sauce refers to Gelatin's ownership of the shop as a "tyrannical rule" and celebrates Gelatin's elimination with his best friend Pineapple.
Coiny[]
In "Meaty", Coiny walks into Gelatin's Steakhouse. BBQ Sauce greets him and tells him about the place. After that, he gives Coiny sunglasses to buy but accidentally summon Gelatin, forcing him to hide. As Gelatin almost finds them, Coiny kicks BBQ Sauce away from Gelatin, saving him.
In "Taste the Sweetness", BBQ Sauce remembers how Coiny helped him hide from Gelatin. Coiny asks him for the passcode to the vault, but because of his temporary voice change, BBQ Sauce originally abstains from giving it to him. After Coiny regains his voice, he happily gives him the passcode to the pantry vault.
Hot Sauce[]
It is not known what BBQ Sauce and Hot Sauce's relationship was like, but according to BBQ Sauce, before Hot Sauce was turned into glasses, the two were good friends.
Pineapple[]
They seem to be friends, as they hang out in the shadeshouse. In "Taste the Sweetness", they party together when BBQ Sauce tells him that Gelatin got eliminated and gives him a "token", which is Gelatin’s volume up button from his headphones. Also, when Coiny appears in front of BBQ Sauce, Pineapple defends him, thinking that Coiny is another customer, but BBQ Sauce tells him that he is a friend. They also team up to survive drowning in the customers/recommended characters by throwing the token and remembering their memories of when Gelatin was eliminated, and they celebrate together once all the customers are gone. In the stinger of BFDIA 10, when Pineapple is craving ice cream, BBQ Sauce immediately shuts him down.

Trivia[]
- His exact position and job title at Gelatin's Steakhouse is unknown, but he was implied to be a cashier.
- He is the second character to have a guest star voice them, the first being David Brown as Portable Music Player.
- In "Outbreak At Stake", Pillow is shown fighting Price Tag with a shattered bottle. The bottle looks identical to BBQ Sauce, implying that between "Taste the Sweetness" and the present, he died, possibly due to Gelatin. It is likely that he won't be recovered.
