BBQ Sauce or Barbecue Sauce is a recurring character in Battle for Dream Island Again that first appears in "Meaty" and again in "Taste the Sweetness". Their dead body made a cameo in "Outbreak At Stake".
Appearance[]
BBQ Sauce appears to be a bottle of barbecue sauce with a beige cap. They have a bright yellow sticker on their face with 3 stars, one big, two small, and 2 stripes on it, one big, one small.
Personality[]
BBQ Sauce seems to like singing, because when Coiny asked for something to eat, they broke out in song. They also seems to have a sarcastic sense of humor as when they told Coiny there were steaks to eat, they lied claiming he was joking. They may be sociable too, as they claimed that their friends were turned into sunglasses and there were lots of pairs. The aftermath of certain situations can make them irritable, as shown in "Taste the Sweetness", where BBQ Sauce got mad at Pineapple for suggesting to eat ice cream after they were completely swarmed with customers from the episode's challenge being about selling said ice cream.

Not much is known about BBQ Sauce, as they have only appeared twice in BFDIA.
Gelatin[]
In "Meaty", BBQ Sauce says that Gelatin changed the steakhouse to a sunglasses shop after the rancid recession of 2013. After that, Gelatin forced BBQ Sauce and their friends to find other jobs or get killed and turned into consumable eyewear. By what BBQ Sauce says, they’re afraid of and don’t like Gelatin at all which we can tell from the fact that their first instinct encountering Gelatin which was hiding and escaping.
In "Taste the Sweetness", BBQ Sauce refers to Gelatin's ownership of the shop as a "tyrannical rule" and celebrates Gelatin's elimination with their best friend Pineapple.
Coiny[]
In "Meaty", Coiny walks into Gelatin's Steakhouse, BBQ Sauce greets him and tells him about the place, after that they gives Coiny the sunglasses to buy but accidentally summon Gelatin, forcing them to hide. As Gelatin almost finds him, Coiny kicks BBQ Sauce away from Gelatin, saving them.
In "Taste the Sweetness", BBQ Sauce remembers how Coiny helped him hide from Gelatin, Coiny asked him the passcode to the vault, but because of his temporary voice change, BBQ Sauce originally abstained from giving it to him. After Coiny regained his voice, he happily gave him the passcode to the pantry vault.
Hot Sauce[]
It is not known what BBQ Sauce and Hot Sauce's relationship was like, but according to BBQ Sauce, before they got turned into glasses, the two were good friends.
Pineapple[]
They seem to be friends as they hang out in the Shadeshouse/Steakhouse. In "Taste the Sweetness", they party together when BBQ Sauce tells them that Gelatin got eliminated and gives them a “token” which is Gelatin’s volume up button when connected to his headphones. Also, when Coiny appears in front of BBQ Sauce, Pineapple defends them thinking that they are another customer but BBQ Sauce tells them that he is a friend of them. They also team up to survive drowning in the customers/recommended characters, by throwing the token and remembering memories when Gelatin was eliminated and celebrating together when all the customers were gone. In the stinger of BFDIA 10, when Pineapple was craving ice cream, BBQ Sauce immediately shuts them down.
Deaths[]
- Killed off-screen (possibly a permanent death) in between the events of "Taste the Sweetness" and "Outbreak At Stake".
Trivia[]
- Their exact position and job title at Gelatin's Shadeshouse is unknown, but they were implied to be a cashier.
- Excluding TPOT debuters, they are the 2nd character to have a guest star voice them, the first being David Brown as Portable Music Player.
- Their name might not even be BBQ Sauce, since they claim to have not heard that name in years. If so, then it's unknown what their body's contents is.
- In "Outbreak At Stake", Pillow is shown fighting Price Tag with a shattered bottle. The bottle looks identical to BBQ Sauce, implying that between "Taste the Sweetness" and the present, they died, possibly due to Gelatin. It is likely that they won't be recovered.
