BFDIA 22 is the upcoming 22^nd episode of Battle for Dream Island Again, the 47^th episode in-universe and the 97^th episode overall. This episode will first premiere on July 19^th on the BFDI X Inanimate Insanity 2025 Tour and early-August on YouTube. This episode will feature the Cake at Stake following Launch Party and the next contest.

Speculation

• It could be possible that the challenge location might take place at the volcano again from Don't Pierce My Flesh, albeit with a different twist, judging from the teaser.
• This might be the episode with the final challenge like with all the other seasons last challenge with the final four.
• Pin could be playing a major role in this episode, regardless whether she is either safe or eliminated, as it may tease something that could happen to her villain arc, according to the teaser's background.

Elimination Hypotheticals

• If Coiny is eliminated:
  • Tennis Ball would be the highest ranking male contestant.
    • He would also be the only circular contestant.
    • Additionally, he and Needle would be the only contestants from the Squashy Grapes left.
    • He would also be the only original male contestant.
  • There would be no more coin objects left in BFDIA.
  • There would be no more contestants whose name ends in -y still competing in BFDIA.
  • Book would be the last contestant voiced by Michael Huang.
  • Chronologically, this would be his first elimination by viewer vote.
  • In release date order, BFDIA would be the third season to have the final four consist of one boy and three girls.
    • In-universe, BFDIA would be the second season before BFB's final four.
• If Pin is eliminated:
  • Tennis Ball would be the last contestant voiced by Cary Huang.
  • Needle would be the only sharp object left and the last original female contestant.
  • BFDIA would be the first season having the final four with an even gender ratio (both in-universe and release date order).
  • No more Squishy Cherries would be competing.
    • Due to her being the only female Squishy Cherry to be in TPOT and BFDIA, all female Squishy Cherries in every season would be eliminated, besides Pencil in TPOT.
  • Because of Puffball in ‘Get in the Van’, all limbless contestants would’ve be eliminated.
  • This will be the second episode that a female contestant would be eliminated in a theatre premiere episode
  • Needle will be the only contestant remaining to have gotten a Win Token in BFDI.
  • Given the post-credit scene in "Launch Party", its probable that she will play a major role this episode as her villain arc progresses.
• Regardless of who is eliminated:
  • They will not be competing in anymore currently-running seasons.
  • They will be the second original W.O.A.H. Buncher eliminated, after Donut in "Get Digging".
  • The safe contestant will be the only original W.O.A.H. Buncher remaining.
  • This will be Coiny’s first time being in the bottom two after the hiatus.
  • By release order, this will be either contestants’ third seasonal elimination. Chronologically, it would be their second.
  • The safe contestant, along with Needle, will be the only future members of The Losers! and Team8s remaining.
  • This would be the second time an original contestant is eliminated in an episode released in theatres.

Confirmed events between BFDIA 20 and IDFB 1

• Firey, Woody, and Bubble are recovered.
• Golf Ball, Nickel, Bomby, Rocky, and Yellow Face stop being possessed by Evil Leafy.
• Fries, Gelatin, Pencil and Ice Cube leave the tornado.
• Bomby loses his purple color.
• All of the LOLers stop being taped up. Firey Jr. also gets out of Bottle.
• There are no eliminated contestants rejoining, at least not from the TLC, as the eliminated contestants sent to it are still there as of IDFB 1.
• Ice Cube willingly goes back to Yoyleland.
• The hole next to the HPRC gets patched up.
• The FreeSmart SuperVan is placed in front of the HPRC with glue coming out the exhaust.
• FreeSmart does something related to the Science Museum that Needle keeps a secret.
• The stairs of the Yoyle Needy are fixed, after being out of order as of BFDIA 6.
• Pencil falls off the Yoyle Needy at least once, as implied by Book.
• Firey gets trapped in a cage hanging from the top of the Yoyle Needy by FreeSmart, possibly as punishment for recovering Leafy.
• All but one of Fries' fries are destroyed either by rotting away, Firey burning them, or Gelatin eating them.
  • He has already lost his fries from Gelatin eating them in various episodes, and them rotting away in BFDIA 18. However, he was recovered and regained them both times.
• Tennis Ball invents Grotatoes for Fries to use to replace his fries due to Yoyle City not being sunny enough for normal potatoes to grow.
• Pin becomes friends with Coiny again and abandons her sadistic and competitive personality.
• Pin loses her color, as the red pigment in her body was extracted and restructured into new limbs by Golf Ball. As a result, she also loses her Mech Suit, battery, and drill.

This likely happens in an episode that takes place around March 2016, as it was stated to happen about 6 months ago in IDFB 1.

• • Nickel is unaware of this happening until IDFB 1, most likely due to him being in the WTF.
• FreeSmart continues to record audio-only diaries until IDFB 1 due to Ruby never removing the lens cap from the Camera. They also continue to collect gumdrops.

• Fries and Firey Jr continue to believe that Bracelety's name is Ringy.

• Pen somehow acquires fifteen trevigintillion nine hundred ninety-nine duovigintillion nine hundred ninety-nine unvigintillion eight hundred vigintillion dollars between BFDI 21 and BFB 1.
• Something happens to the revival Season 2 episodes, as Four and X do not acknowledge, or are somehow unaware of the high vote counts reached in BFDIA 7 and onwards, despite supposedly having the entirety of BFDIA archived in the A BFDI.
• Firey and Gelatin stop being best friends, as they seem to have drifted apart in later seasons, but remain on good terms in BFB 25.
• Firey becomes friends with Coiny, Needle, and Pin, as he calls them his pals in BFB 1.
• Bubble finds out that Donut's favorite season is summer.
• Flower and Ruby play flower power multiple times.
• Pie does not kill anyone, as she says she's killed no one in BFB 1.
• Ruby starts to like music, as she claims to not be a fan of it in BFDIA 12, yet she has been shown to enjoy singing multiple times in Battle for BFB.

• Black Hole sees the FreeSmart SuperVan, the swings, and the Beryllium Fortress, Destruction Impossible at some point before TPOT 10, as they appeared in his nightmare during that episode.
• Lewis may be recovered as he could have died in BFDIA 10 and is alive in TPOT 14.
• Tree and TV do not interact with each other, as TPOT 17 confirms they have not have any shared times together.

• This will be the second BFDIA episode to premiered in a BFDI X Inanimate Insanity Tour, following ‘PointyPointyPointy ♫’
• During the QNA section of Vidcon 2025, according to Cary at 28:12, something will happen to Dream Island this episode.
• There will be something to do with a flag or a sign for the contest, most likely the token to immunity, due to BFDIA 13 & 14’s poster having the bunk bed on the exclamation mark in “STAY TUNED!” which led to BFDIA 14’s challenge.

General

• This is the second time where only two contestants are up for elimination, following Book and Ruby in "PointyPointyPointy ♫".
• In release date order, BFDIA will be the first season where the final four is without Flower and Leafy.
