BFDI Mini Resort is the eighth season of the BFDI Mini series. It premiered on TikTok on June 9, 2025. It was first discussed on May 15, 2025 in a poll on the final episode of BFDI Mini Natural.
History[]
In the TikTok upload of "Plants vs. Zombies", a poll is seen at the end of the episode asking the question "Should we do a summer themed season? 👀" with the options "Yes!" and "No.....".
On June 3, 2025, the Jacknjellify Twitter account posted a teaser for the eighth season, revealing the cast in a blurred image with the characters hidden behind silhouettes and the text "BFDI MINI SEASON 8" split into two positions with "BFDI MINI" at the upper part of the image and "SEASON 8" at the lower part of the image.
On June 9, 2025, the first episode, "Catch the Frisbee!", was released onto TikTok and YouTube.

- Beach Ball, and Pearl are the only contestants to not be UFE.
- This is the first time in the entirety of BFDI that the idea of an "eighth season" of anything has ever been brought up. The main series only has 5 seasons, with a sixth season sometimes discussed.
- This will be the first season of the BFDI Mini series since the first season to use a poll to decide on if the next season should happen.
- This is the first time that the theme of the next season has been in the control of the viewers, with viewers being able to vote for a summer theme or against a summer theme.
- This season premiered before the previous season had an episode compilation uploaded to YouTube. This is the first season to have this be the case since BFDI Mini Again, whose compilation video was combined with the first season of BFDI Mini.
- This season takes place at the same beach that Spongy was seen at during "PointyPointyPointy ♫".
- This is the first BFDI Mini season that has eliminated contestants not appear in the intro.
- The fate of this season is currently unknown, as the events of Last One Standing may put it on hiatus until the damage done in the episode is repaired.
