The BFDI x Regretevator collaboration, stylized as BFDI x REGRETEVATOR, is a collaboration between Battle for Dream Island and the Roblox game Regretevator, which was announced on January 28, 2025 and released on February 1, 2025.^[1] A short animated by Sacri was released on the developer of Regretevator's official Twitter account. The BFDI:TPOT floor takes place in The Power of Two's grasslands, though it takes elements from the entire series.

Gameplay[]

The objective of the BFDI:TPOT floor is to climb to the hotel's roof to gain points by staying on the roof as long as possible, with each floor containing a variety of obstacles. The hotel has five floors and a roof, with the enemies in each being randomly generated (except for Fanny only appearing on the roof). If the elevator shaft is open, the player can climb the elevator cables from Floor 1 to Floor 5.^[2] Robot Flower sells floor tools in the Stuff For Your Self shop in exchange for coins.

Enemies[]

Black Hole - Moves around the floor, ironically damaging the player.
Bugs - They assemble in groups on the floor and must be jumped over. They can damage the player with poison.
Evil Leafy - Teleports around the floor, which results in an instant death if she touches the player.
Fanny - Only appears on the roof. Fanny attempts to blow the player off the roof, which the player must avoid for as long as possible to score points. Has a low chance of appearing as a cube variant.
Spike ball shooters - Moves around the floor and shoots spike balls at the player.
Pie - Explodes when you touch her.

Additionally, Four in the background will kill the player with a screech if they go out of bounds.

Floor tools[]

Anchor - Increases the player's fall speed when equipped.
Cake Slice - A one-time use item that fully heals the player to 100 health upon eating. It has a side effect of giving the player the famous BFDI smile asset.
Yellow Tomato - Removes any body effects (e.g. Yoyle Metal, grey stuff, mirror) off the player upon being eaten, as well as cleaning off missing infection.
Yoyle Berry - Gives the player the Yoyle Metal effect upon being eaten. It has a special animation when drinking grey stuff or gazing into the Mirror.

Trivia[]

After 15 years, this is BFDI's first official collaboration with a video game. It is also the first BFDI collaboration that is not distributed by jacknjellify, although BFDI team members worked on it.
- This is also Regretevator's second collaboration not deriving from an original Rob lox game. The first one being the collaboration with Bugbo.
Yellow Tomatoes in the Stuff For Your Self shop are misspelled as "Yellow Tomatos".
The hidden text on the front of the Recovery Center currently reads "CSNICETRYIDIOTSS."
