Banana Apple also appears in Pie Vs Pi: The Pi Day Massacre as a supposed ally of Pie to fight against Pi's team. He ended up fighting against Square Root of Two with Snowball.

Appearance[]
Banana Apple is a yellow apple, the same colour as a banana, with a short orange stem on top. He appears to specifically be based on the Winter Banana type of apple, hence the name "Banana Apple".

Personality[]
Banana Apple is excitable but clumsy and not very observant of his surroundings. He is seen immediately getting hit by a flag causing him to fall over. He's also very easy to scare, as shown when he looked at Puppet and immediately went into a dazed shock which is shown to even work when using only a depiction of Puppet. He can be rather competitive however as shown with him tripping Credit Card and being excited to fight and immediately attempting an ambush on Pi's Team.

- Easily scared: Banana Apple can easily be scared, as shown with him being scared of Puppet, a picture of Puppet, and of Snowball after being used as a club by him.

Battle for BFDI[]
In "Enter the Exit", he appears during the recommended characters crowd scene for that episode being recommended by Attentionseeking. He is shown as X chases after David in an attempt to eliminate him, specifically Banana Apple is seen in the top row of characters.
In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", he appears during the recommended characters crowd scene for that episode also being recommended by Attentionseeking. He is shown while Fanny walks towards Four to ask him to recover Bubble.
Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two[]
In "BFB 31", he appears in the audience of Loser & Rose's show, annoyed by the Loser Super-fan, who is being too loud.
BFDI Mini Deluxe[]
In "Don't Let Your Flag Get Destroyed", Banana Apple just sits next to his flag not doing anything and eventually Lithium accidentally drops their flag on his head, knocking him out.
In "Go Kart Race", Banana Apple drives forwards doing okay in the challenge up until he drives up to Puppet's go kart at which point he looks over at Puppet and gets scared causing him to be dazed and stop driving which ultimately leads to him being up for elimination with Frozen Yogurt.
In "Don't Let Your Balloon Touch the Ground", the votes between him and Frozen Yogurt are revealed and Banana Apple is eliminated. Once the results are revealed a green hook appears from the right side of the screen and drags him offscreen.
In "Hold Your Breath", all the previously eliminated contestants were brought back for a rejoin challenge. In the challenge Banana Apple just sits and holds his breath and is ignored by the other eliminated contestants who fight between themselves, this allows him to easily win a slot for rejoin voting along with Lithium.
In "Rock Climbing", the votes between him and Lithium are revealed and Banana Apple rejoins the game seemingly to his surprise. In the challenge he immediately gets knocked over by Credit Card, he gets back up and attempts to start climbing the rock wall but he ends up getting hit by Mocha's rocket and is accidentally propelled onto the rock wall without having to do anything winning him the contest.
In "Capture the Flag", Banana Apple is placed on the same team as Credit Card. Immediately Credit Card and Marble Bottle start fighting while USB continues to mope about Puppet being eliminated. This allows Banana Apple to easily sneak around USB and capture Marble Bottle and USB's flag, winning the challenge for himself and Credit Card.
In "Stay on the Balance Beam", he immediately begins to sleep while standing on the balance beam but when he notices Credit Card skateboarding across the beam Banana Apple decides to trip them over causing them to knock into USB and fall off the balance beam, allowing Banana Apple to be safe.
In "All Previous Contests", while Banana Apple is driving his go kart while holding his breath and wearing his tag USB pulls out a cardboard cut-out of Puppet scaring him once more allowing USB to get in the lead. When Banana Apple finished the driving part of the challenge he climbs the other tower, which was higher than the one USB climbed, and jumped into a hot air balloon allowing him to be in the lead instead. While both of them are flying to the next part of the challenge in their hot air balloons Banana Apple finds a bag of flour which is actually lava due to the next part of the challenge, so Banana Apple throws it at USB's balloon causing it to detach from the basket putting Banana Apple further into the lead. When Banana Apple lands on the balance beam for the next part of the contest he looks down to see USB propelling himself onto the balance beam via his tongue so he quickly starts running towards the flag at the end of the beam and when USB is about to land on the beam Banana Apple kicks him causing him to land on his back. He quickly captures the flag but ends up accidentally breaking it, much to his surprise, meaning that USB won the season despite performing badly in the final contest.
BFDI Mini, Seriously![]
In "Find The Trophy and WIN!", Banana Apple's asset appears as a golden object buried in the sand that Johnson tries grabbing before being pushed out the way by Your Mom and being dug out of the ground, only for it to be revealed to be a banana apple instead of the trophy required for winning the challenge.
Non-canon appearances[]
In "Pie Vs Pi: The Pi Day Massacre", Pie assembles a team of her "best friends" which consists of Banana Apple along with Golf Ball, Snowball, and Basketball to fight against Pi and their team. Banana Apple is incredibly excited to be picked for this battle, stating that it will be "legendary", he then proceeds to spin on his head. When Pi explains what is going on Banana Apple is seen being even more excited but when one of Pi's team members Tau insults Golf Ball, Banana Apple gets angry and asks if they just insulted their "best friend GB". Once Pi is done introducing their team Banana Apple immediately and excitedly shouts "ambush" and attempts to charge at the opposing team, but he ends up tripping and falling on his face. Instead Snowball quickly grabs Banana Apple by his feat and proceeds to use him as a club to attack Square Root of Two, this however appears to have no effect on Square Root who seems to be enjoying it. After a while Snowball states that this is supposed to hurt which Banana Apple responds saying that it does hurt as he visibly has bruises on him but then a cloud of dust hits Square Root's eyes causing them to shrivel up and disintegrate. Both of them look confused at this but Snowball states that Banana Apple should tell the others the he was the one to do that, to which Banana Apple quickly and frightenedly agrees.
After the fight Basketball questions the others asking them if they defeated their opponents to which Snowball immediately starts bragging about how easy it was for him to win. Banana Apple quickly butts in to attempt to correct Snowball causing Snowball to get angry and grab Banana Apple by the legs again and start slamming him into the ground. This is interrupted when Zero appears and asks for help with dragging the Divide Symbol from everyone, so everyone including Banana Apple starts helping Zero. After Zero successfully divides Pi with Zero, Banana Apple states that they make it look easy to which Zero responds with a thanks and says that it's nice to see Banana Apple again which Banana Apple agrees with. When Pie asks her team if they enjoy tacos Banana Apple is very happy and states that they are all "besties" and walks with everyone else following Pie. In the after credits stinger Banana Apple watches Pie and Basketball play chess when Snowball starts insulting them however suddenly Imaginary Number grabs Snowball by the legs and starts slamming them against the ground causing Banana Apple to start laughing uncontrollably at Snowball's expense.

- Banana Apple appears to be based on the winter banana type of apple, a yellow apple type which is named as such due to the colour of yellow that the apple exhibits being similar to that of a banana.
- Banana Apple is the first BFDI Mini character to ever rejoin a season.
- He is also the first, and so far only, contestant to rejoin and not be formally re-eliminated.
- Banana Apple had arms in "Enter the Exit" but they were removed when he was recommended again in "What Do You Think of Roleplay?". It is unknown why this happened.
- He is the second BFDI Mini contestant to have a speaking role in a JnJ video after Blue Spongy, who spoke in Spongy's place during the puppet segment of "Bowling, Now with Explosions!"
- He is the third BFDI Mini character to ever speak in any way, with the first one being Blue Spongy, and the second being Purple Girl with Wind Hair and Angry Eyes who spoke in a teaser for "Oneirophobe's Nightmare" in one of Jacknjellify's community posts.
- Him and Quartz are also the only BFDI Mini contestants to have an appearance in a JNJ video without being a reccomended character.
- He is the third BFDI Mini character to directly interact with a main BFDI character, with him interacting with Pie, Golf Ball, Snowball, and Basketball in the Pie Vs Pi: The Pi Day Massacre short.
