The Basement is a room inside of the Hotel. It's located through the door labeled "Basement" on the first floor of the Hotel. It consists of a staircase, purple walls and a couple of lights and circular windows. In "Outbreak At Stake", the staircase is destroyed sending Team8s and some zombies into the sewers.
It's unknown what's in the basement, as all we see is the entrance and its connection to the sewers.

In "Outbreak At Stake", Team8s rush down into the basement in a panic with the goal to escape the zombies. It is to be noted that Needle knows that it's there, and explains it to the others as if they don't know. Pin sees Coiny's zombie and states that they can still save him, Needle says that it's too late and brings her down the stairs. Then, a zombified Puffball breaks the staircase sending Donut, Pin, Needle and the zombies to plummet into the sewers.
In Category One, we see the basement with the lights on for the first time, revealing it to have a purple coloration, the staircase has also been rebuilt. Team 2 is sent here to deal with the fish monsters living in the sewers.
