Users of the wiki are entitled to the right of personal property.
Here, personal property refers to the sections and name spaces of the wiki that inherently and exclusively belong to whomever claims ownership to said section. The owner of the personal property is the only user who can edit and modify their personal property. The ability to affect and modify personal property can be verbally and publicly granted to others.
Personal property includes:
- User pages
- User subpages
- User talk pages (semi-personal property; while anyone is allowed to edit someone else's talk page, they cannot remove or modify messages like they can on their own talk page)
- User talk subpages (such as archives)
- Blog posts (can only be edited by owner and admins)
- Personal images
Personal property does not include:
- Articles created by a user (however, the use of an Under Construction template may signify a user's request to exclusive editing rights, though this is purely symbolic and not enforced by wiki staff)
- Images intended for articles
- Templates
