Beehive is a contestant in BFDI Mini Natural, one of 10 contestants that were picked for the season, originating as a recommended character from "Lick Your Way to Freedom".
Appearance[]
Beehive is a cluster of seven beehive honeycomb cells, where bees store their honey and raise their larvae. Their cells are yellow with an amber outline.
Changes[]
BFDIA 8
- Beehive is an entire beehive.
BFB 2+
- Beehive is just seven cells of a beehive's honeycombs.
Personality[]
Beehive appears to be rather confident in their own abilities with them being very skilled when it comes to platforming, but they have no control over their bees that live within them which causes them trouble. They have a tendency to showboat, doing over the top things to win challenges, doing smug or dramatic poses and actions during challenges, and taunting the other contestants while interfering with and messing with them. Beehive appears to have a fluctuating code of ethics, disliking Aurora Borealis for their tendency to bypass challenges, despite being happy to bend the rules when it conveniences them.
Abilities[]
Strengths[]
- Bees: As shown in "Mow the Lawn", Beehive has bees that live within them and these bees have the ability to fly, sting things, and accelerate plant growth. By default, bees like Beehive and enjoy residing within and sleeping within their open honeycomb cells.
- Platforming Skills: As shown in "Climb Over the Garden Wall", Beehive is able to use 2 broken pieces of another beehive to perform a "shell jump", an advanced platforming technique that involves scaling a wall by jumping on ricocheting projectiles that you yourself throw. On top of that Beehive can also perform a "spin jump", a type of jump that allows them to jump off of spikes without getting hurt. Beehive is also able to instantly turn fully around in the air.
Weaknesses[]
- Bees: Also as shown in "Mow the Lawn", Beehive has no control over the bees that live within them, which means that those bees can choose to do something that is disadvantageous to Beehive. Also, if Beehive mistreats their bees the bees can decide to outright antagonise Beehive.

BFDI Mini Natural[]
In "Grab A Leaf", Beehive is seen standing in a confident pose before immediately jumping onto the tree and climbing up it, being the first character to do so. They rapidly ascend the tree and are able to quickly swap to the other side of the tree in order to grab the first leaf that falls off the tree with a confident facial expression making them the first contestant safe from elimination.
In "Mow the Lawn", Beehive is seen frowning as they pluck a patch of grass. Immediately after doing so, a group of three bees that live within Beehive's honeycomb cells fly out and start pollinating the ground causing a new patch of grass to instantly grow back which prevents Beehive from being able to successfully complete the challenge and ultimately puts them up for elimination along with Autumn Leaf. For the rest of the episode, Beehive continues to attempt to pull out the same patch of grass only to fail due to the endeavours of the bees that live within them.
In "Survive Evil Leafy", Beehive is seen looking upwards as text appears revealing that they got 34% of the vote, meaning they are safe, at which point they smile before quickly stepping away from Autumn Leaf right before Autumn Leaf is possessed by Evil Leafy. Later, Beehive is seen frowning looking down at the other contestants from the top of a tree along with Geode before looking shocked as Geode enacts their plan to jump off the tree.
In "Climb Over the Garden Wall", Beehive is seen with their arms crossed as they look at the garden wall before getting frustrated at seeing Aurora Borealis fly away, shaking their fist at them as they do. Later, Beehive is seen thinking to themselves before getting an idea with a smirk. First, they pull out a beehive and break it in half over their knee. Beehive then runs towards the garden wall while throwing the top half behind Chestnut and kicking the bottom half upwards. They then re-grab that top half, while performing a "spin jump" on Chestnut's spikes, before then dropping the top half underneath them and jumping off it as well. They then quickly turn around in the air to grab the previously thrown bottom half, then quickly turn back around to face the wall again. They then kick the bottom half at the wall while still ascending from their previous jump. The bottom half ricochets against the garden wall, allowing Beehive to jump off it, which sends them upwards even further, and with one last quick turn back and forth Beehive is able to land on the very top of the garden wall before jumping backwards off the wall on the other side, giving a peace sign to the other contestants as they fall and become safe.
In "Balance Off the Evil Canyon", Beehive is seen on the Evil Canyon land bridge looking down at the canyon. Later, Beehive grabs Seashell with a smug confident smile and moves them over the edge of the canyon land bridge, starts letting fingers go of Seashell before eventually letting go of Seashell completely with a mocking facial expression.
In "Survive the Swarm of Bees", as the swarm of bees approach the contestants still on the Evil Canyon land bridge, Beehive screams and starts running away. Beehive runs back into the forest before stopping and trying to shield their face from the approaching bees while flinching, only for the bees to begin flying into Beehive's honeycomb cells and start sleeping. Beehive is amazed to see this as more and more bees happily fly around them and sleep within them and Beehive poses proudly with a confident smirk. Later however, when a darker bee sees all this and reminds the other bees about what Beehive did in "Climb Over the Garden Wall" causing the bees to being to all turn on him. Beehive looks at the now angry bees worried before showing the bees a nervous smile and holding their hands out in an attempt to appease the bees but this doesn't work and instead Beehive is attacked by a massive swarm of bees. The bees then fly away, leaving Beehive dead facedown on the ground, putting them up for elimination.
In "3-Legged Race", Beehive is seen looking up at the voting results worried and sweating, but the results reveal that they only got 33% of the votes and are therefor safe and so they happily jump into the air before posing confidentially. They then watch as Seashell gets flown into the air by a swarm of bees. Later, they are seen standing at the end of the finish line for the 3-legged race seemingly uninterested, before later sitting down and looking very bored.

The Beehive SuperVan.
- The beehive that Beehive pulls out and breaks in "Climb Over the Garden Wall" is the same asset as BFDIA 8's Beehive recommended by Psychedelic Pickles.
- This asset appears again in "Survive the Swarm of Bees" as a real normal beehive that the titular swarm of bees live in.
