A biome is a distinct geographical region with specific climate, vegetation, and animal life.[1] There are multiple biomes seen in BFDI.
The Beach[]
The Beach is a biome in Goiky that was first seen in "Take the Plunge: Part 2". It is a sandy beach with a shoreline that extends to the Goiky Canal.
Appearance[]
The Beach is a tropical beach located next to the Goiky Canal. In its first appearance, it was depicted as a featureless sandy beach. In "Chapter Complete", it became much more vibrant in color and was given a great amount of detail. It was given palm trees as well as seashells and starfish inside the sand on the shore, as well as small shrubbery within the areas with the palm trees. It is home to various birds. It got changed into a beach with much more basic colors and features, such as yellow sand with green palm trees, as shown in "Fishes and Dishes", although, this might have been a result of the two episodes taking place at different times of day (sunset for BFB 30, midday for TPOT 5).

Battle for Dream Island[]
In "Take the Plunge: Part 2", the Beach was first seen after the Squashy Grapes' motor boat flew over the Goiky Canal. Afterwards, Coiny points out that they had missed the finish line. Ice Cube then exclaims that there is a tree. Leafy, Ice Cube, and Coiny then fall into a pond. Meanwhile, after the Squishy Cherries' boat had broken apart, the team swims to the shore. Ice Cube attempts to win by breaking the ribbon by sliding, but is pushed away by Pencil. Pin then claims victory by poking her point into the ribbon, breaking it into two. The Squishy Cherries are then declared victorious by Announcer.
Battle for Dream Island Again[]
The Beach appeared between the Desert and the Goiky Canal.
Battle for BFB[]
During the resolution of "Chapter Complete", Gelatin reads his comic, explaining how everything wrapped up when the Have Cots (minus Leafy and including Loser) had convinced Four to come out of The Sun. He says that he was inspired by Teardrop's comics, and Ruby interjects that she hasn't seen Teardrop in a day, with Lollipop saying that she'll turn up somewhere. Firey and Leafy are then seen at the shoreline in the same motor boat Leafy arrived in 11 years ago. They say to Flower that they will look for their own Dream Island, and Flower agrees to occasionally attempt to recover Leafy and Firey. Firey and Leafy afterwards begin their voyage. Gelatin then comes over and says to Flower that Blocky and Woody needed guests for their "new show". Flower agrees to do so, and after looking at her friends, she says "I really did win, didn't I?" in a joyous moment, and then tells Gelatin to wait up for her as she walks up to her friends. The episode ends with Firey and Leafy sailing out into the Goiky Canal.
Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two[]
In "Fishes and Dishes", after Two's plates ended up in the Goiky Canal, the contestants and Two go to the beach to retrieve them for the contest. Everyone did so but Are You Okay and The Strongest Team on Earth. lost the challenge.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Donut appears here as part of a montage and tries to throw Two into the canal, but it fails as they are able to stand on the water.
In "Outbreak At Stake", the beach is seen for the first time at night as some of the zombies are seen chasing The Strongest Team on Earth. there, just as Onigiri and Rubber Spatula notice Tree and start swimming towards him.
Trivia[]
- The Beach could actually be 3 different beaches.
The Desert[]
The Desert is an biome in the fictional land of Goiky, In BFDI - BFDIA the desert is to the south. It is located on the southern coast of the Goiky Canal and it is north from Evil Forest and Evil Canyon. The Desert appears in BFDIA episodes "Get Digging" "It's a Monster" and "The Long-lost Yoyle City". It seems to now (at least as of BFB and TPOT) contain the World's Largest Oven, as it has been there the last four times the Desert has been shown.
Coverage[]
In "Get Digging", The Desert appears when Puffball flew Needle and Gelatin to Yoyleland. The Burj Khalifa appears in the desert. It appears again during their return journey.
In "It's a Monster" and "The Long-lost Yoyle City", the three teams can all be seen traveling across the desert on their way to the summit of Yoyle Mountain. Yellow Face gets stuck to the glue. Upon his death, his corpse decayed.
In "Intruder Alert", the Desert can be seen in the fancy BFDIA 7 intro (which uses the desert background from TPOT 4) where Book can be seen walking through it. The desert can also be seen when Fries, Tennis Ball, and Golf Ball are walking to the Yoyle Woodland, the moneybag from "The Long-lost Yoyle City" appears to be still there.
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", runs through the desert trying to catch their basket while half of Ice Cube's body melts there.
In "Uprooting Everything", the desert becomes the location of BFB, after Flower suggested to move outside of The Pillary Ruins in the previous episode, due to it being overpopulated by several recommended characters.
In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", Four turns into a goo, seeps into Earth, and colors the entire desert blue with four-shaped cacti.
In "SOS (Save Our Show)", it gets a crack during the stinger.
In "Chapter Complete", the desert returns back to normal as Four leaves to sink into the Pillary Ruins.
In "Gardening Zero", Just Not goes to the desert to protect their Funny Plant. Yellow Face's skeleton also appears.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Death P.A.C.T. Again goes to the desert to mend The World's Largest Oven that got destroyed by Lightning.
Trivia[]
- The desert is warm enough to melt Ice Cube.
- Coiny aims a stick from the middle of the Desert all the way to the FreeSmart Supervan in Yoyleland about 2,760 miles away.
- With this information, it is acknowledged that the Desert is about 2,760 miles (~4,441 kilometers) away from Yoyleland, or 3 miles (~4.8 kilometers) from the grassy plains in BFDI, assuming Yoyleland, the Desert, and the grassy plains are on a straight line.
- According to Golf Ball, the desert's temperature is 42 degrees Celsius (107 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Gelatin's voting icon appears to have the desert in the background. This "desert" in the icon, however, is also a simple gradient that comes prepackaged with the color tools in Adobe Flash, so it may simply be a coincidence.
- This location is the third main area in Battle for BFB; the first were the Bathrooms, and the second were the Pillary Ruins.

Snowy Tundra[]
- Not to be confused with Snowy Forest.
The Snowy Tundra is a biome that first appeared in "Intruder Alert".
The Snowy Tundra is a hilly tundra with rocks poking out the ground, along with various trees. There are also a large number of mountains in the background. A member of the Funny Plant species was inhabiting in the Snowy Tundra despite the cold temperature, not too soon after being frozen and shattered.
Coverage[]
In "Intruder Alert", during the special intro, Firey's picture features him in the Snowy Tundra, where he asks, "how's it snowing?".
In "Gardening Zero", Snowball picked the Snowy Tundra out of the tophat, much to the dismay of his team. After figuring out that soundwaves can make heat, Bell decides to make noise and sing until her bracelet falls off, teleporting her back to Goiky. Robot Flower tries to use Touch-Tone Telephone's landline to call her, but Eggy declines. Snowball, suddenly with an idea, decides to light Grassy on fire using a matchstick. As soon as Grassy's bracelet burns, the plant immediately freezes and breaks apart.
In "Fishes and Dishes", one of the ways to revive a Funny Plant as explained by Yellow Face features Ice Cube in the Snowy Tundra freezing a plant inside herself.
In "Outbreak At Stake", zombified Snowball, Battery and Avocado are chasing The Strongest Team on Earth. on the Snowy Tundra. Robot Flower tells Bell that maybe they'll give up if she just went higher, and Bell answers that she would do that if all of them got off. Snowball then stops and lets Avocado and Battery roll him through the snow, causing him to become larger. Robot Flower is surprised and leaves her team behind and she joins Avocado and Battery. Battery tries to bite her but she simply throws them away. Basketball tells Bell that she told her that Robot Flower is a complete liability right now. Grassy tells Bell to fly and they quickly get away. Basketball tells Bell that they have to hide somewhere, so she says that they'll return to the Grasslands, and that maybe they already sorted something out already.
