Woah, woah, woah! Hey, Black Hole! I think what Fanny means is she loves the P.A.C.T., OK?

— Marker to Black Hole, "The Seven Wonders of Goiky"

This article lists the interactions between Black Hole and Marker.

Black Hole and Marker are shown to be very close friends in Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two and were always placed on the same team.

Episodes suggesting a friendship[]

In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", they work together to take down Teardrop's stack, along with Fanny and Lightning. They take cover behind a fence after she kills Fanny. Marker says that if they get any closer to Teardrop, they'll also die. Black Hole says that Marker is right and that they have to prevent death even if it means losing.

In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", when Marker says that he always knew he was cool, Black Hole agrees, saying he always knew he was cool as well. After seeing how dangerous Are You Okay's rollercoaster is, Black Hole tells his team that they made the right call in preventing death, and Marker says that he knew it.

In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", when Marker is set on fire by a stove, Black Hole sucks up the fire.

In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Marker and Black Hole agree that the World's Largest Oven needs to be destroyed for safety reasons.

In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Black Hole, despite knowing that his team only has two competing members tries to convince his team to go stop Puffball, causing Marker to jump off the balance beam and disqualify himself.

In "What's Up Bell's String?", Black Hole and Marker work together to find something substantial to throw into their pit for the challenge. Later, when Black Hole and Marker in Davidland, they find themselves faced with a bunch of Davids. Initially hesitant, Black Hole recalls their commitment to grab whatever they encounter next, so they seize a David, who exclaims, "Aw, seriously?" The force of his exclamation knocks Marker off balance, and Black Hole assures him they'll rescue him.

In "I SAID CAREFUL!!!", Marker expresses concern about Black Hole’s prolonged absence and suggests they go search for him. Later, Marker tries to redirect the team's focus, reminding everyone that finding Black Hole is their top priority.

Neutral interactions[]

In the stinger of "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Black Hole watches blankly as Marker eats cheesecake with glass shards inside.

In "Fishes and Dishes", when Marker says that his team's strategy is simply to dive in and find the plates, Black Hole points out that they can't hold their breath forever. Marker says they'll prevent death by just holding their breath.

In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Black Hole and Marker were the most reluctant to using a dead fish for their meal. When they're done turning it into a fish roll, Black Hole suggests that they revive the fish.

In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Marker tells Black Hole that he thinks Fanny is trying to say she loves the death prevention pact (he is wrong). Later still, he points out to Black Hole that the glass panel Just Not is offering them is just what they need to win the challenge. When they end up getting the glass panel they need to win by trading Tree's dead body, Marker points out that they only won because they caused death, which leaves Black Hole speechless.

In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Marker attempts to defuse the situation Black Hole and Fanny have by telling them they're both right and to just stop fighting. Later when Two is telling viewers to vote for a contestant to save, Marker interrupts them saying technically Fanny didn't fall off as her mouth is still on the balance beam. Two is not sure about it, saying it seems like a technicality, but Black Hole and Marker immediately complain.

In "Outbreak At Stake", Marker swims up to Tree's body and begins pushing him, telling Black Hole that him and Fanny need more time to continue. Black Hole arrives with Cloudy's collection and tries to block the zombies' path. It works momentarily, but then the zombies swim under the stash. Black Hole then takes the stash and makes a tower, which the zombies start climbing. Black Hole, seeing this, alerts his team and tells them to dig, and Marker goes back underwater to do so.

In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", when Black Hole explains that he was trying to prevent death, Marker, upon the mention of "preventing death," recovers Just Not.

In "What's Up Bell's String?", Black Hole arrives and warns Marker to let go of Tree just as he's about to fall, however, it is too late. Black Hole and Marker contemplate on what to take for their stack, but struggle to pick something decent. After many considerations, Black Hole reminds Marker that their time to do the challenge is limited, and insists that they must take the next thing they see. Later, in the forest, Black Hole continues to search for Marker while holding onto David. Suddenly, Marker calls out for help from below as Needle and Pen are still tossing the tree around. Black Hole attempts to provoke David, whose loud protests cause a wave that throw all of them in the opposite direction. Luckily, Black Hole manages to catch them all. Marker expresses gratitude to Black Hole for saving him, but Black Hole cautions him to keep quiet because of David.

In "Category One", when Marker thought the pact was over, Black Hole reminded him that they're prioritizing life first.

In "I SAID CAREFUL!!!", Marker signals the urgency of dealing with the plant, prompting Black Hole to take action.

In "Seasonal Shift", Black Hole realizes that Marker looks green instead of purple and questions him why. Later, Marker notices that Two is still not the host, to which Black Hole replies that its likely due to the other teams messing up the timeline.

Episodes suggesting a conflict[]

In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", when Black Hole asks what he can do in the challenge, Marker asks "You suck, don't you?" which he is offended. Marker then gives Black Hole an angry look when he sucks up all of their blocks.

In "Outbreak At Stake", Marker suggests that they should simply move Tree. Black Hole says that's literally impossible due to how huge he is. Marker then angrily asks him if he has a better idea.
