In "Welcome Back", when Fries asks him how many lines he has in the episode, Bomby says "two". Fries asks Bomby for help loosening the soil, which confuses Bomby. Bomby is soon detonated off-screen, presumably by Fries.
Episodes suggesting a conflict[]
In "Taste the Sweetness", Fries kidnaps Bomby and takes him to a remote locations, where he tells him to get digging, Bomby angrily refuses at first and tells him they're on different teams but helps him anyway later in the episode. When Needle comes to search for Bomby, Fries tells Needle to put him down.
In "Lots of Mud", Fries attempts to drown Needle by tangling her snorkel. Bomby angrily punches Fries telling him to cut it out, and then untangles the snorkel.
In “Insectophobe's Nightmare 4", Bomby immediately tries to kill Fries in the challenge. Fries retaliates by using one of his fries as a tool to deflect the bugs thrown at him. When the building is blown up, Bomby continues to chase Fries down with Coiny, and when they reach the Evil Canyon, he remarks on how Fries is "out of room and out of luck", and how satisfying it would be to see him be impaled by the spikes of the canyon. When Fries manages to escape, Bomby throws Pin at Fries' vacuum, and it sends him to the ground.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", Bomby is repulsed by the idea of being on the same team as Fries. Later on, Bomby says that he is not a servant and that Fries should do the challenge, and Fries says that there is no way he is listening to him. Fries frequently forcefeeds Bomby sugar covered fries to give him a sugar rush, causing him to become more energetic and speedy. However, there is a breif lapse in lucidity after Fries tells him to get digging once again, causing Bomby to give him an annoyed glance.
