This article lists the interactions between Bomby and Needle.
The two were close friends throughout Battle for Dream Island Again, however when Needle switches to FreeSmart, Bomby feels betrayed and the two have little to no interaction after the season ends.
Episodes suggesting a friendship[]
In "Intruder Alert", when it's revealed Yellow Face turned Bomby into juice, Needle calls him a murderer.
In "Catch These Hands", Needle and Bomby guess each other's sentences easily after everyone else on their team has died.
In "Taste the Sweetness", Needle and Bomby consider forming an alliance with the other survivors of the trash compactors, later on Needle given a task by Golf Ball to find Bomby, who was kidnapped by Fries. When Needle finds Bomby working as Fries' digging crew, she tries to get him back, but Fries forces Needle to work for him too.
In "Lots of Mud", Bomby gives a snorkel to Needle, but Fries sneaks up and closes off the end. Just as Needle was about to suffocate, Bomby slaps fries away and unties the end of Needle's snorkel.
In "Spore Day", Bomby and Needle both happily say that they are about to win.
In "Alone", in the flashback to "Category One" , when Needle teleports to One's field after signing her contract, Bomby, Barf Bag and Bell happily clings onto her.
Neutral interactions[]
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", when the FreeSmart Supervan's magnet starts to attract Needle, Bomby and the rest of the team hold on to her.
In "Well Rested", Needle says the aerospace manufacturing plant can definitely hold all eight of their team members and Bomby replies with "Hooray!"
In "Lots of Mud", Needle alerts her team when Bomby and Nickel start drowning, giving their snorkels to one-another, until Nickel starts drowning again, to which Needle stops caring.
In "Spore Day", Needle comes up with the idea of having Bomby retrieve a shrink ray from Golf Ball's Underground Factory by entering through a vent. After he returns with the shrink ray, he compliments Needle for the idea and half forgives her for leaving W.O.A.H. Bunch, stating that she has to perform an act of generosity to earn his full forgiveness, much to her disappointment.
In "I'm the Main Character", Needle is confused to see Bomby sticking out of the HPRC.
In "Seasonal Shift", they, Barf Bag, and Bell are all walking in One's Dimension, with no signs of hostility between them. This continues into "Bottle For Dream Island", where they follow Six towards the EXIT together.
In "Last One Standing", they along with Barf Bag and Bell all try to open the EXIT door.
Episodes suggesting a conflict[]
In "No More Snow!", she slaps Bomby out of the Evil Canyon when he calls her "Needy".
In "Meaty", Needle throws Bomby off the Eiffel Tower after she's asked to by Spongy for the challenge. After being revived, Bomby complains about this, and Needle looks guilty about this before she continues to throw him off the tower.
In "Lots of Mud", Bomby shoves Needle into the lake when she complains about her lung capacity.
In "Spore Day", when Bomby and Needle were put on the same team, Bomby gets angry at Needle for leaving W.O.A.H. Bunch to join FreeSmart a few episodes prior, calling her a traitor. Needle tries to give an explanation, but Bomby accuses her of being disloyal to W.O.A.H. Bunch. Needle then tries to push Bomby into the birdhouse where he nearly fits but except for his fuse, so she tried cutting it off before Bomby angrily asked her if she was messing with his fuse.
In "Respect to the Wicked", Bomby makes it a point to exclude Needle when saying his goodbyes to W.O.A.H. Bunch.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Needle finds Just Not hanging under the balance beam, Nickel then shoos her, making her kick him in the face, to which Bomby comes to defend Nickel against Needle, but she kicks him off the balance beam.
