— Book, "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know"
|
Book, also known as Dictionary, is a female contestant in Battle for Dream Island Again, IDFB, Battle for BFDI, and Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two. She is also the main protagonist of BFDIA 5b.
In Battle for Dream Island, Book was one of the 30 recommended characters that had a chance to join the show in "The Reveal". The votes for the debut were revealed in "Reveal Novum" and she only got 8 votes which was not enough to join, placing her 14th to join the season.
In Battle for Dream Island Again, Book had the chance to join at the start of the season but she only received 296 votes, which wouldn't have been enough. However, due to Leafy, Bubble, and Flower being absent, Book, along with Yellow Face and Puffball, were able to join the season, with Book placing 21st to join. Book competed on Team No-Name until "Get in the Van" when she switched to FreeSmart. In "Taste the Sweetness" she switched to The Beautiful Face Devotion Institute before switching back to FreeSmart in "Lots of Mud". In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", she teamed up in a duo with Ruby, and in "Spore Day", she teamed up in a trio with Nickel and Pin, named The Stars. Book swapped back to FreeSmart in "Respect to the Wicked" until the merge in "Airplanes in the Night Sky".
In IDFB, Book is currently free due to not being eliminated prior to "Intruder Alert".
In Battle for BFDI, Book competed on until the split in "The Escape from Four" where she left the show to compete on Two's show.
In Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two, Book competed on Just Not until the team swap in "What's Up Bell's String?" where she was instead put on Team 2 by One.

Personality[]
BFDIA[]
Book is nice, polite and caring towards most contestants. She doesn't seem to like rule-breaking, as seen in "Get Digging". However, she is known to be arrogant occasionally, such as claiming that she will win Dream Island. There are various times where Book is passive and is not able to speak up either for herself or for others, making her a pushover. An example of this is seen in "No More Snow!" when she considered going back to get Tennis Ball, Golf Ball, and Rocky, only for Match and Pencil to laugh at her. Book would also tend to be the voice of reason among the FreeSmarters.
BFB[]
Book becomes less of a pushover and finally stands up to Match and Pencil, even to the point of leaving the alliance. She is also shown as being empathetic towards Saw, stating that "everyone's lips slip occasionally" whenever she kept responding with the answer "eight" in "Questions Answered".
After "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", Book began bullying Taco for supposedly deserting the team, and would try to convince the rest of that Taco was a deserter. In direct contrast to her behaviors towards Saw (until her return in "Return of the Rocket Ship"), Book is still very upset with Taco and has not yet gotten over her "betrayal", showing her to be rather gullible and naïve, and able to hold grudges. "Return of the Rocket Ship" revealed that the negative impact from being on FreeSmart severely clouded her judgement and broke her sanity, making her assume that any form of absence counted as abandonment. It also revealed that she lacked self-awareness of being in the wrong until she curiously looked herself up after being lectured by Gaty. When she did look herself up, she realized how much she changed and felt remorseful for her actions.

Book losing her temper.
She also seems to have trouble controlling herself when angered, seen in "What Do You Think of Roleplay?" when she accused Taco of abandoning the team again, and then proceeded to throw a temper tantrum. However, after Gaty and Pin talk to Book, she completely changed her view on Taco, and even let her continue BFB when the characters split in "The Escape from Four", possibly making amends with Taco in the process.
TPOT[]
Book values friendships and connection, shown in her caring nature. She demonstrates her ability to grow and change, and works towards becoming a better person. In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", she attempts to team with Gaty and Saw, but they decline, with Gaty suggesting she make new friends. She then asks Ice Cube to team up, but she walks off annoyed. Respecting Gaty's decision, Book eventually joins Just Not where she meets Price Tag. In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare," their friendship deepens as Book opens up to Price Tag, spending time getting to know each other better.
This desire to build genuine connections continues into "The Power of Four", where she reassures Winner that they aren’t being replaced. She doesn't only just listen to Winner’s concerns, but also actively seeks to comfort them by using her own past experiences. By recognizing Winner’s feelings and suggesting they do something they can enjoy together (in this case, Goikys & Dragons), Book understands that sometimes, when people feel left out or overlooked, what they truly need is not just words, but quality time and shared experiences.
Book shows a more aggressive side of herself in "Bottle For Dream Island" when getting into an argument with Pencil, who attempted to get Book to join her alliance. Book states that Pencil only wants an alliance to get further in the game, and she will not be used in that way. This shows that Book is assertive and values genuine relationships. She refuses to be manipulated or seen as a pawn, making it clear that she values her autonomy in the game.
Official Character Guide biography[]
Book is many books all at once! She's a dictionary, a journal, a Hand-Powered Hand-Powered Recovery Center Creator user manual, and a guidebook for IDFB.
Book and Ice Cube have formed what Book believes is an inseparable bond, as Book always protects Ice Cube. She's also formed a close relationship with Ruby, but she wouldn't go as far as to eat Ruby's Yoyleberries.
In the platformer game BFDIA 5b, Book was the first character you could play as.
Did You Know?: Book is actually a copy of Battle for Dream Island OFFICIAL Character Guide.
Abilities[]
- Low-level reality-warping: By writing and rewriting a definition on one of Book's pages, the new definition becomes factual. This includes any property of physics, such as gravity. Although, this seems to be restricted to altering confirmed claims of fact, as writing and rewriting claims of value, unproven predictions, and subjective opinions, like winning Dream Island, have no effect.
- Super strength: In "Get Digging", while crossing the evil canyon, Spongy breaks the bridge connecting the two side, causing him to fall. Book reaches down and catches Spongy with one hand, typically needing an entire team to do.
- Lip-reading: In "Catch These Hands", Book is shown to interpret what Ruby is saying inside a soundproof trash compactor.
- Living pages: In "Spore Day" the Typewriter inside her page encourages her to find the birdhouse, helping her remember the task she needs to focus on. Book can talk to the objects and characters inside her pages as if they were alive. They respond to her, gaining advice or help from them when needed.
- Literary manifestation: In "Respect to the Wicked" Book is shown to pull a tennis racket from one of her pages to prevent the other teams from touching the FreeSmart Van.
- Item Creation: In "Airplanes in the Night Sky" Book is shown creating a paper airplane and a pair of wings out of her pages, which she used to get to the other beacons.

Battle for Dream Island[]
In "Half a Loaf Is Better Than None", Book, as a How to be Dumb book, walks into a vat of hydrochloric acid to get the Announcer’s marble collection.
In "Bowling, Now with Explosions!", two Books (orange and pink) appear in a crowd of recommended characters who are watching the Cake at Stake. They are all sealed in a metal box by the Announcer, which randomly catches fire in the stinger ending.

Book in Battle for Dream Island
In "The Reveal", Book appears as a recommended character and she is revealed to be one of the 30 selected recommended characters who have a chance to join the competition.
In "Reveal Novum", Book obtains only eight votes and cannot join BFDI. Shocked, she explains that her definition of "Dictionary" (which is her original name) states that she is the one who will win Dream Island. The Announcer denies it, and Book is flung away to the Locker of Losers. At the end of the episode, Book and all the other recommended characters in the Locker of Losers are crushed by the sun.
Battle for Dream Island Again[]

Book in Battle for Dream Island Again
In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", when the results are shown, Book finds out she did not make it, even with the most votes out of all the contestants who would not join. A minor argument between Book and Lollipop ensues, due to Lollipop thinking that "people judged Book by her cover". Book isn't sure if she wants to be mad or not. The BFDI game rules then fly toward her face.
Because of the absence of Leafy, Flower, and Bubble, she makes it into the game, along with Puffball and Yellow Face. She exclaims that she knew she’d make it, and Fries says he can't stand her cover, to which Book slaps him and eats one of his fries. Fries retaliates by slapping the fry out of her mouth and tears out one of her pages and eats it, but spits it out after chewing for a while. Book then takes it back, unfolds it, and sticks it back inside her.
When requested that they split into two teams, Book joins the newbie team. An altercation ensues between Donut and Pencil, after discovering that the newbie team is smaller than the other, leading to Book joining the larger team and remaining on that team. Her team wins the challenge with little effort.
In "Get Digging", when Coiny and Pin try to take Teardrop to their team, Book tells them that Teardrop will only switch if she chooses to. However, Teardrop cannot talk, so they take her to their team anyway, to Book’s disbelief. During the challenge, Book, Golf Ball, and Firey discuss how they’ll make the yoylestew without yoyleberries. Golf Ball assigns Book to the group to ride Puffball to Yoyleland get the yoyleberries.
While Book is riding on Puffball with Needle, Ice Cube, Gelatin, and Spongy, Gelatin pushes her off, along with Ice Cube and Spongy. They fall into the Evil Forest and are chased by Evil Leafy. They are chased across a bridge above the Evil Canyon, which breaks. Book and Ice Cube make it to the other side, and Book saves Spongy from falling into the canyon. She assumes that Evil Leafy can't cross the canyon without the bridge, but Evil Leafy teleports to the other side and resumes chasing them. Book and Ice Cube make it out of the forest, but Spongy doesn't. Book and Ice Cube eventually make it back to the others, with Book telling Golf Ball that Evil Leafy captured Spongy. Her team's stew is disliked by TV and they lose the challenge.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", during Cake at Stake, Book spins the prize wheel for Puffball since she has no arms. Book is also safe with 82 dislikes. Book excuses herself from the contest and asks if she can join Pencil's Alliance, along with Ice Cube. Pencil says they can join, but as alternates, which Book isn't happy with but she accepts it.

In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Book and some others are on top of the Eiffel Tower. She asks what they're battling for (despite her definition being the one who wins Dream Island), prompting Firey to say he thought she was "well read", making Book angrily inject him with Freeze Juice. Tennis Ball then explains that the prize is Dream Island and what Dream Island is. Book thanks him for telling her, saying she feels well informed. Tennis Ball responds "You mean well read", making Book freeze him. The Puffball Speaker Box then announces that it's time for Cake at Stake to the contestants on the Eiffel Tower.
Pin tries to help by shaking the tower until they fall down. Book tells Gelatin that there's no way Pin can shake them off, making Gelatin say Pin must not be very "well-read", so Book freezes him as well. Pin's shaking becomes so intense that Book is flung into Golf Ball's underground factory, landing in a vat of "Dream Sauce". Later, Coiny tries to recover her using the HPRC, not knowing that she is still alive and cannot be recovered. Team No-Name later goes down to the factory and cooks the dream sauce in Golf Ball's oven, killing Book.
In "Get in the Van", Book and Ice Cube go over to Match's dance party on the Eiffel Tower, but are interrupted by Pin, who while saying she wanted to swing with her, she and Ice Cube were going to go to the party. This leads to Pin thinking Book was just using Ice Cube as a way to get her to do what she wants instead of letting Ice Cube decide what she wanted to do. From all this stress, Ice Cube jumps out stating she also wanted to go to Match's dance party as well, leaving Pin with no other choice but to accept it. However, Match and Pencil don't allow them to join the party since they're only alternates. During Cake at Stake, Book again spins the prize wheel for Puffball. Book also laughs when Puffball uses her prize to remove Pin's limbs.
Book ends up in the bottom six, but is safe with 207 dislikes. Book was one of the members of Team No-Name to switch teams. She recommends calling the team "Freedom" but Pencil says it sounds like "free-dumb" and that they are not dumb, instead suggesting the name FreeSmart. In the FreeSmart van, during the ride to Yoyle Mountain, Book slaps Match, stating that they passed a library and if they pass a matchstick factory, Match can slap Book. Book and the other FreeSmarters are eaten by Evil Leafy when Pencil drives the van into her mouth.
In BFDIA 5b, Book wakes up inside Evil Leafy, with no memory of what happened before. Then, she finds out that she is a journal and reads herself to remember that she got eaten by Evil Leafy, and she goes to save the other FreeSmarters.
In "No More Snow!", the FreeSmarters are about to escape Evil Leafy. After watching Ruby push multiple buttons, Book tells Ruby that Pencil wanted her to press the purple button, which they do, and they're finally freed from Evil Leafy. However, they are immediately back to running from Evil Leafy. She cuts a rope, dropping a weight that crushes Evil Leafy, Fries, and Puffball. Book is unfazed by Ruby's death (of sadness from the loss of the HPRC) and she eventually goes on to "make millions" selling Ruby's remains. Later in the episode, they started cranking the HPHPRCC. In the stinger, Book is happy to see Ice Cube and Match are still alive, but frowns when Match ends up using Ice Cube to put out her lit fire.

In "It's a Monster", Book and the other alive contestants continue cranking the HPHPRCC. She, Ruby, and Match later take a break that goes for several hours. They get back to cranking when break time is over, with only Book and Ruby continuing to crank until the process is over, while Match continues taking breaks. After the HPRC is created a timer starts to go down. She says that she is an HPHPRCC User Manual and looks up to see what is going on with the HPHPRCC, which is about to self-destruct. She figures that it might explode or disappear without a trace. It does the latter.
Afterwards, they recover the other FreeSmarters and continue their journey in the FreeSmart Van. The new van comes with a LPRC (Leg-powered recovery center), but Book is tempted to see what would happen if she used her hands on it. She does so, causing it to disappear, so the team chooses to steal the HPRC. After a brief snowball fight, Pencil drives the van into the Goiky Canal, where they proceed to drown numerous times, while trying to recover each other before they're all dead at once.
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", the FreeSmarters are the first team to reach Yoyleland. In Yoyle City, Match slaps Book because they pass a matchstick factory. Later, Book and the other FreeSmarters saw Pencil in half when she gets caught in a Fish Monster's tongue. When FreeSmart reaches Yoyle Mountain, Book thinks they have reached the Yoyle Summit. The Firey Speaker Box disagrees and tells Book that they must climb higher to get to the real summit. FreeSmart has an advantage with Puffball so Pencil slows them down by getting Rocky killed, as revenge for vomiting on her. Book points out that that happened two years ago, but Pencil just says to get climbing. After running up some platforms, FreeSmart reaches the actual summit and place first. The episode ends with everyone falling from the summit.
In "Well Rested", Book is still falling with everyone else. Ruby asks if she'd like some yoyleberries and she decides to eat a mouth full, which results in her turning into metal. After Cake at Stake, Book is given a yellow tomato by Pin, which reverts her back to her original color. Books spins the challenge wheel and the challenge ends up being to find a building to sleep in. Book's team enters the FreeSmart SuperVan and they drive around Yoyle City looking for the Pillow Marketplace. Pencil doesn't seem to know where it is, so Book says that since she's a Yoyle City Atlas, they can look up where the building is. The Pillow Marketplace is at the Yoyle Mall, which is on one of the floors of the Yoyle Needy.
The team decides to grab some balloons so that they can float to the top floor of the Yoyle Needy. Suddenly, a dehumidifier pipe appears in the sky and the van crashes into it. The water getting pulled in from the pipe starts to flood the inside of the van, so everyone has to hold their breathes. Once the sun sets, the team is completely submerged underwater. They pull out some snorkels and jam them through the roof of the van, allowing them to breathe. Suddenly, the van's weight causes the pipe they're stuck to to tilt.

The pipe rotates several times, allowing the team to steal W.O.A.H. Bunch's pillows and sleeping bags. The pipe then balances itself out, and the two team's face off against each other on the pipe, with Book and Coiny dueling each other. They start to lose balance when Spongy runs on the opposite end of the pipe, causing the pipe to rotate again. The end with the FreeSmart SuperVan hits Pin's point, causing the water from inside the van to burst out and flood the aerospace building. Amidst the chaos, Book eventually realizes that they should be sleeping, not fighting. So FreeSmart tries to go to sleep quickly. W.O.A.H. Bunch continues to try and sabotage them, now by telling scary stories. Coiny starts repeating Evil Leafy, which makes the FreeSmart members wince in their sleep.
Eventually, Evil Leafy appears and attempts to attack either W.O.A.H. Bunch or FreeSmart, but she keeps switching away from the team that's underwater. Ice Cube eventually pulls out the balloons from the van and has everyone tie one around themselves in order to escape the predicament below. Once everyone is in the sky, Ice Cube plays relaxing music that puts the team to sleep, so FreeSmart wins the challenge, coming in second. In the stinger, the team decides to start recording video diaries together.
In "Intruder Alert", after the intro, Book explains that it’s their 20th day of recording their video diary and introduces the “viewers” about the yoyora boyoyalis. When Ruby catches Yoylite and says that it is a shooting star, she corrects Ruby saying that it is a meteoroid. When the challenge wheel spins, the FreeSmarters hear it and pop their balloons from BFDIA 6 until they fall down on top of the wheel, making it spin again. Book and the other FreeSmarters faint on the grass until the FreeSmarters get interrupted from their unconsciousness by Ruby.
After Ruby wakes the other FreeSmarters up, Book asks what's going on, and Ruby alerts them of Firey and Gelatin inside of their team. Book asks if it really is Firey and Gelatin, and Ruby says yes to the question. Book says she feels iffy about Firey because he called her "well read", but she says she likes Gelatin because both of them are green, even though Gelatin also called her "well read". Book then says since she's an inclusion handbook, she thinks FreeSmart should include everybody on the team. Ice Cube responds by saying she's not so sure about that. Ruby asks Pencil if they should include Firey and Gelatin on the team, in which Pencil refuses.

Firey and Gelatin claim they know the contest and that FreeSmart doesn’t, so FreeSmart decides to let both of them in. Gelatin says the contest was to do 60 jumping jacks, which FreeSmart proceeds to do. Pencil then tells Firey Speaker Box that they finished the challenge, but Firey Speaker Box says that wasn’t the challenge. Gelatin then says the contest was actually to eat 700 Yoyle bush leaves, which FreeSmart also proceeds to do.
Ruby tells Firey Speaker Box that they finished the challenge, but Firey Speaker Box responds with a simple no, which makes Ruby cry. Gelatin then says the contest was actually to shatter 2,000 windows, which FreeSmart also proceeds to do. Ice Cube tells Firey Speaker Box that they finished the challenge, but Firey Speaker Box says that is incorrect. Gelatin then says the contest was actually to step foot on 3 different planets, which FreeSmart proceeds to do in their FreeSmart Rocket, visiting Saturn, Uranus, and a really weird planet in the Orion Nebula. Book pulls out a passport and says that they inhabited the 3 planets, but Firey Speaker Box says that’s not what he asked for.
Book then throws the passport on the ground and says "oh my word". Firey says Gelatin is a dum-dum, and Firey says the contest is to "kill all your teammates". Ruby then proceeds to kill the other FreeSmarters, including Book, via ripping Book in half. Ruby says she assassinated all of her teammates to Firey Speaker Box, but he responds with "you have gone absolutely mad".
After Firey Speaker Box says there are only 5 minutes remaining in the contest, Ruby proceeds to recover all of her teammates, including Book. Book says to Ruby why she'd kill her team and Ruby responds with she was just trying to help the team, in which Pencil agrees. Firey then says that the challenge is to "burn down Yoyle City". Firey Speaker Box then announces time is up. After the other teams are rated, it's FreeSmart's turn. Gelatin says that that was the episode's contest, to which Book replies with that his little shtick isn't holding up so well anymore. Firey Speaker Box then announces that FreeSmart loses.
In "Meaty", after the intro, Book, Ice Cube, Ruby, and Pencil explore the remains of the Yoyle City aerospace plant. She points out this location, and Pencil suggests that the group rummage through the wreckage of it. Through this, Book finds what she describes as an "ancient spaceship laser shooter", holding onto it for preservation. Ruby finds gears, to which Book compliments them. Firey Speaker Box asks the group if they would like to do Cake at Stake, and all of them including Book all voyage through the Goiky Canal to get to the Clubhouse of Awesomeness.
Upon arrival, she and Ice Cube discuss how they're in the clubhouse and how Match had previously excluded them from the area. After the Cake at Stake intro plays, Book complains about it to Firey Speaker Box, who announces that he brought Firey and Gelatin. Ruby is upset about their presence, and is about to literally kick them out, but Book stands in front of her and opts to include the two, stating that she's an inclusion handbook, however, she accidentally shatters Ruby by doing this. During the showing of votes, Book continues to talk to Ice Cube about the clubhouse, specifically the TV.
After she is announced safe and given her asbestos cake, she questions if they're the same cake as last episode, and if W.O.A.H. Bunch didn't eat their cake. However, she realizes that not eating asbestos is a good thing, and celebrates by jumping into the air, before falling onto Spongy. After Pencil is announced safe, Book and Ice Cube celebrate with her.

After Cake at Stake, Book asks Firey Speaker Box what the next contest is, to which he starts crying, making Book sympathetically question as to what's wrong. Ruby asks if he's still fit to host, and Book replies that he isn't, calling him a "complete emotional wreck." At the beginning of the contest, she asks Gelatin if he's still on FreeSmart, to which he explains that he is and that he still needs Ruby's yoylite, which seems to make Book suspicious of him, however she still holds onto being inclusive of him for awhile.
Later, Pencil takes her laser shooter without asking and begins to shoot at Team No-Name, eventually shooting off their paint bucket. Later, Book confronts her about this, arguing that the team now has a disadvantage in the challenge, to which Pencil injects Book's laser shooter with pink paint, and begins firing again. After Pencil and Ruby die, Book laments to Ice Cube that they two are the only ones left, questioning how they could win, to which Ice Cube presents an idea on it, ordering Book to pull onto the Eiffel Tower antenna, which she does after some hesitation. The two continue to do this back and forth, with Book complimenting Ice Cube's idea during, until eventually they cover 70% of the Eiffel Tower with pink paint, making FreeSmart safe, which both celebrate.
In "Catch These Hands", during the intro, Book approaches Nickel and to ask if he's enjoying being painted pink, which Nickel doesn't. She questions this, complimenting Ice Cube, who is also pink, and bringing her into the conversation, calling her "strawberry milk cube." Gelatin approaches the three holding Ruby's shards, to which Book scolds him, making Gelatin rhetorically question if she was the one selling Ruby's remains in a previous episode. Book is disappointed at this, complaining that it was slander.
Immediately after, Ice Cube tells Book that she misses Ruby, whom spontaneously recovers herself to taste Ice Cube, assuming she's actually strawberry milk. Ruby, after attempting to taste her, is informed that it's lead paint and vomits from it, to which Book sympathises with her. After this, Book discusses with Ruby about how was able to recover herself, which Ruby states that it was because of the yoylite that she was able to, making Book question if Pencil might be able to as well. Pencil comments about how she would be upset if the Clubhouse of Awesomeness were endangered, which Book agrees, stating that will never happen.

After Yellow Face and Purple Face's argument, Book comments on their noise, hoping that they're resolving their issues. After Yellow Face is disintegrated in acid, Book celebrates their resolution, to which Puffball Speaker Box agrees with her. Later, Nickel receives a paint thinning machine, which Book asks to use, making her no longer pink. Before the challenge, Pencil orders Ice Cube to go into the trash compactor, which Book defends her from and scolds Pencil for. Book later reasons that since she's the flattest member when on her side, she should go in, volunteering and being transported into the compactor, with Ruby appreciating this.
At the start of the challenge, her first prompt is "rowing a boat", which none of FreeSmart guesses until she flips on her side and presents the text "Rowing." Pencil reads this word out, transporting Book out of the compactor, which she expresses her fear, questioning how her team didn't know what she was doing. During Pencil's prompt, Book passive-aggressively comments on Ruby's answer, facepalming when she repeats the same answer.
Pencil accidentally blows out Bubble, which FreeSmart, including Book, all celebrate, hugging onto the compactor. During Ice Cube's prompt, she presents her "ugly face", making Book comment about Pencil not being here to see this, and after Ice Cube flips upside down and continues doing this, Book continually answers wrong, eventually asking Ruby for help, whom guesses that it's her "beautiful face." After Ice Cube is transported out, Book compliments her on this.
During Ruby's prompt, she reads out what she got, making Book question that she couldn't read, Ruby responds by asking how she could hear her, and Book answers that she was reading her lips, making Puffball Speaker Box blindfold Book as punishment and reset Ruby's prompt. Ice Cube discusses the new prompt with Book, who tells her that she can't see, and it's down to Ice Cube, who continually answers wrong, making Ruby loudly bounce off the walls of the compactor. Book comments on the noise, asking Ice Cube what it is, who eventually answers once Ruby knocks the chamber over and begins rolling down a hill, making Book exclaim to follow after it.
They both chase the trash compactor, and later after Ruby is transported back, Book scolds her and blames her for the situation, and once again complains that she can't see. Ruby later explains Ice Cube's movements to Book, who recognises this as her argument with Pin in "Get in the Van", which is correct. Book is then transported into the compactor, later taking off her blindfold to read her prompt, which is "lips." Puffball Speaker Box approaches her, scolding that she wasn't allowed to read lips, and punishes her for this by ripping her to shreds with knives.
In "Taste the Sweetness", before Cake at Stake, she is recovered by Needle, Pencil, and Ruby, and everyone who is recovered, including her, are all ordered to go into a trunk. Afterwards, Flower complains that she's losing control of the vehicle, which Book asks Puffball Speaker Box who's driving, to which she answers that they're an old friend of hers. During team switching, Book celebrates with Ice Cube on how they're in the final 13, to which Ice Cube does her "beautiful face", making multiple people switch to FreeSmart.
Book, along with mostly everyone else on the newly made team, announce their team name to Puffball Speaker Box. While she is explaining the challenge, Book raises her hand to ask how much time they will have to sell ice cream, making Puffball Speaker Box answer with another question to her about what time ice cream is usually eaten, which Book answers summer and is given a gold star sticker by her for her correct answer. Later, Needle shatters Ice Cube, making Book, along with the rest of The Beautiful Face Devotion Institute cry with devastation.
Later, while Golf Ball gives a speech about becoming team leader, Book complains about this with annoyance, and is assigned by her to sell ice cream to people directly. During the challenge, Book and Pin begin to discuss their past negative interactions, with Pin continuing to be distrustful of Book, who takes off her gold star sticker while trying to convince Pin to work with her. Later on, Pin doesn't find much success with attempting to sell ice cream, and asks Book and Spongy if they could do better, to which Book gives it a try, however she doesn't find much success either, to which she complains of the crowd just being tough. Despite her efforts, The Beautiful Face Devotion Institute is placed up for elimination, for selling to 0 customers.

In "Lots of Mud", before Cake at Stake, she and the rest of The Beautiful Face Devotion Institute worry about the elimination. However, she and everyone else are all consoled by Ice Cube doing the "beautiful face." This continues to go on for some time. Later, she and the rest of her team walk to the Cake at Stake area while being laughed at by Fries. When Ice Cube is announced as the prize winner, Book congratulates her, commenting that she wishes that she was that well-liked. She is soon announced safe and given regular cake, and celebrates this with Ruby, who got regular cake with Jack Frew's hair on it. Noticing this, Book warns Ruby to not eat it, however she does anyways.
Later, Ice Cube is announced as in the bottom two for elimination, and Book along with Pencil and Ruby all voice that they hope she's safe. She is announced safe, and they all celebrate. After Golf Ball flips over Ice Cube during her "beautiful face", now making it an "ugly face", Book along with the rest of The Beautiful Face Devotion Institute all leave, almost forming a new team, however it is not created. Afterwards, Book notices that Ice Cube is upset about this, and questions if they should really leave her.
After FreeSmart becomes a team again, she discusses with the rest of her team about a new name at Pencil's request. She discloses that she's a grammar textbook, suggesting the name "FreerSmart." They all continue to go back and forth about this, with Book also suggesting the names "Free Smarter", "FreerSmarter", and eventually "Less-Restrained, Less-Dumb" (LRLD) which becomes the team's new name. After the intro plays, Flower starts to host, and immediately insults the contestants clothing brands, making Book confront her.
Flower immediately rips off her cover and replaces it with a pink and magenta one with a red price tag still attached, telling her to wear it so she doesn't look "so hideous." At the start of the challenge, Ruby attempts to pull the locks off of Flower's petals, and Book tells her to give it a rest, disclosing that she's a chemistry textbook and that the locks are made of Tungsten. During the challenge, LRLD offer to give Flower a makeover, and Book discloses that she's a fashion magazine, showcasing various looks they could try out on Flower, which convinces her to let them. They then cycle through various looks, however, nothing seems to work, and Book discusses this with her team.
Ruby then puts Jack Frew's hair onto Flower's head, who asks if she looks beautiful. Book, Pencil, and Ruby all hesitantly tell her that she does, seemingly lying. This makes her give them a petal, however tells them that they need more petals to win, which makes Book ask Pencil if they have any more looks to try, however she doesn't. Later, Coiny arrives with a key, and Book immediately points this out, urging her team to get it from him. She and LRLD continue to fight him, however, Ice Cube points out that violence isn't the answer. Book agrees, stating the answer is "unfurl", and she then unfurls Coiny's fingers from the key, grabbing it and unlocking one of Flower's petals. However, Coiny pushes her to the side and grabs the key for himself, and Flower announces his team safe. Coiny then insults Book, making her stammer and then quiet in defeat. Despite her efforts, LRLD was placed up for elimination.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4", during the cake at stake, she asked Flower if they can change their name back to FreeSmart because she thinks that LRLD name is silly to which Flower says sure. Ruby ends up getting the most likes and gets to choose a contestant to shrink. Unsure who to pick, Ruby asked her who she should choose and Book says to just pick the one who likes FreeSmart the least. She ended up being the second safe with 7,278 dislikes and received a basket as a cake for her prize. Ice Cube ends up getting eliminated, and she feels sad about her leaving them so soon. Later, when Needle joins the team, Book ambiguously welcomes her.
When the bugs came to host the show, Book along with other contestants run away from them, and they end up hosting the show. During the challenge, Book is the first to die as when Nickel spits out the bugs, they hit her and she ended up being poisoned. She was later revived temporarily when Golf Ball and Tennis Ball tested the anti-poison on Book to see if it works, but got poisoned again after the test. She along with her team ended up being safe from elimination.
In "Well, Look Who It Is!", Book is recovered by Ruby and joins in carrying Yellow Face back to the WTF. Afterward, they leave and soon come across a loop-de-loop. Book wonders how they’re going to get past it, and Tennis Ball suggests they use his Super-Stick Shoes SoHa. They safely cross the loop-de-loop and continue their journey. On the way, Pencil asks Book if she recalls Needle making any sacrifices in the last episode since Needle claimed to have done so. Book responds that she was dead nearly the whole time, so she wouldn’t know.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", Book is first seen nervous about Pin’s restoration. After Pin reveals she wants to destroy FreeSmart, Book, along with Pencil, Ruby and Needle, attempt to make their escape. However, the door turns out locked, so the bugs punish Pencil by poisoning her. Because of that, Book decides to fling Spongy to the bugs’ location, and lure the latter to said spot using sugar and gumdrops.
Book warns Ruby to back up before Spongy, eventually, successfully crushes them. After the LOL lands, Match tells the contestants to spin the wheel. Ruby and Book celebrate her return, only to awkwardly back off after Barf Bag yells at Match. Later Ruby suggests that she, Book, Needle, and Pencil all team up. Eggy corrects them, saying they can’t all team up. Ruby decides that since Pencil’s dead, and Needle’s the rookie, they separate themselves accordingly. She, along with everyone else travel to the spire.
Bottle says that they should hurry up and climb as “a certain someone” doesn’t like trespassers. Evil Leafy can be heard in the background, so Book asks Bottle who she was talking about as she looked worried. After Needle makes it known she’s struggling with Pencil’s dead body, Book remarks about how she and Ruby left them behind. Ruby suggests that Pencil would’ve liked to be buried in the FreeSmart Super Coffin. Book asks about Pencil wanting to be buried in a coffin with rockets, before Ruby passes it on.

She and Ruby later make it to island one, Donut’s, and picks up a blanket. After Needle says she can’t find any fuel, Book reminds her that the fuel is actually cherry filling and the two stuff some in their jetpacks, while Ruby eats her way through the entire island, then falls off. Book picks her back up before she hits the ground, though. She continues to fill her jetpack, until Ruby wants to fill their jetpack using Tennis Ball’s oil rig.
They fill it up completely and use it. Book and Needle complain about Pencil being dead, before Book quickly flies off with Ruby. After Book gazes at all of the details on Donut’s island, including Needle, the jetpack dies due to the corrupted, polluted oil. They fall back down to the island. Needle throws her jetpack at Book and Ruby and they scramble to catch it, only for Coiny and Pin to steal it last second. They momentarily give up, only to realize Evil Leafy followed them up. They realize Pencil and Needle have redirected the water to the island they’re on. They climb up the water and reunite.
On Dora’s island, Dora stops Book and Ruby, as she doesn’t know that Ruby has already eaten part of Donut’s island, and after realizing it, she lets them pass. When they make it to Teardrop's island, they instantly solve the island’s challenge and Coffeedrop rewards them with a microphone and helium tank. Bubble inflates herself with it and the five float to the next island. Upon arrival, they join a heated conversation where they, Match, Pin and Coiny quickly remark about each other. Match lets them know that there’s a hidden raft on the previous island, so the five descend to the previous island to retrieve it.
When back on Teardrop’s island, they land in a pool and start searching the ship, Book checking the bow, to no success. Afterwards, they all trek down to the insides of the ship, going down seemingly endless stairs, into a lower-back room. Book remarks how the “X” on the map indicates the location of the raft. Pencil suggests exiting but instantly, Evil Leafy blocks the door. The five are chased to the back of the room, evading Evil Leafy, then dashing for the door. Evil Leafy then shuts the door, teleporting in front of it.
Bubble finds a trap door, of which, Pencil and Ruby accidentally break the handle attempting to open it. Book then uses Needle to open it, but when Evil Leafy teleports on top of Pencil, ready to enter her body like she has also done to Spongy and Flower, Book finally forces the door open and hits Evil Leafy off of Pencil. Book holds the door open for the group, but when she attempts to get in, Evil Leafy shuts the door, blocking the two in, and forcing Book into a corner, where she finds a broken plank and frantically attempts to rip it off, before Evil Leafy gets her, and the screen goes black.
We find out she escaped last second by slipping through that opening. She swims up and out the water, and gets a warm welcome by FreeSmart, but Evil Leafy was right on her tail. Needle crushes Evil Leafy with the entire ship, leaving Book and everyone else speechless. They make to and past Match’s island after crying about being in last place. She collectively joins Pencil and Needle to say “Yoylecake!” before Pencil interrupts to let Bubble say the catchphrase.
When they do make it to Puffball’s island, the final one, and it is their turn. Book, unsure of what to sing, as she is all but a lyrics booklet, has Ruby use a recording of Pin. This angers Pin to where she electrocutes them, also popping Bubble. After Pin finishes her ultimatum, Book and Ruby fall to earth, putting Book and her partner up for elimination.
In "Spore Day," Book stands alongside Needle and Pencil when Ruby excitedly approaches, showing them a chameleon and proudly pointing out that it's the same color as her. Needle acknowledges that it’s pretty impressive, but then she notices a nearby caterpillar behaving oddly and asks what it’s doing. Book consults the pages within her, identifying the creature as the Lepidoptera Goikiolus Goiky Butterfly, adding that since she's a taxonomy textbook, she would know these things. When Needle questions why the caterpillar looks so shriveled, Book deduces that it must be dehydrated.
Ready to help, Needle pulls out an eyedropper filled with water and prepares to hydrate the caterpillar, but before she can, Pencil steps in and insists on doing it herself, asserting her role. Pencil successfully revives the caterpillar, and the team cheers together in celebration. However, their moment is interrupted by Nickel, who reminds Book and Ruby to stop being so happy, as they were up for elimination last episode, and one of them is about to be voted off.
At the Cake at Stake, Eraser announces that today’s cake is a teardrop cake. Book, concerned, asks if he meant to say "raindrop" cake, but Eraser bluntly responds that he doesn’t think so. Book becomes even more worried, wondering if the cake is somehow made out of Teardrop. Donut reassures her that the cake is actually made from the collected tears of the LOLers, who had been confined to a small space for the past two years, and Teardrop gives a thumbs up to confirm.
Puffball then reveals that they received 151,540 votes in total. Before announcing the results, she decides to read some fan comments. One fan said they liked Book because she was the only one who showed any sympathy. Book thanks the fan and wholeheartedly agrees with the sentiment. Another comment called Book a monster, but added that they didn’t notice her doing anything bad—they just don't like her. Book is puzzled by this comment, asking how they could think she’s a monster if she didn’t do anything wrong. Pencil chimes in, saying that Book looks a bit monstrous today. The final comment asked how Book is still in the game and gave her a dislike. Book, slightly annoyed, responds that she's still around because voters cast 296 votes on “that random video from 2012".

The votes are revealed, and Book is declared safe with 18,852 dislikes, while Ruby is eliminated with 32,594 dislikes. Book also wins the prize, having garnered 62,005 likes. As the LOLers fling Ruby and her sisters away, Book looks around in confusion and notices that her sisters had been playing in Ruby’s place all along. Pencil finds the whole situation ridiculous and sarcastically comments that Book must have been born yesterday. Book, in response, argues that’s impossible since she’s a history textbook. Blocky interrupts and tells them to be quiet before suggesting that Book spin the prize wheel to find out what she’s won.
Book spins the wheel, and it lands on "your pages become sentient". Confused, Book asks what that means, when suddenly Printer comes to life and explains that every bit of text and illustration inked within her pages is now fully conscious and interactive. As Book flips through her pages, the illustrations and text within start talking, startling her. Freaked out, Book quickly slams her pages shut. Needle asks what's wrong and wonders if Book likes her new ability. Book, clearly unsettled, admits she prefers the cake and asks the LOLers for her cake instead. The tray of teardrop cake is unceremoniously thrown at her, knocking her down onto the cloud below, where the other contestants are waiting.
Clock advises everyone to spin the wheel to choose the next contest, and it lands on "enter the birdhouse'. Needle is immediately confused, asking what birdhouse they're talking about. The LOLers guide the group to a colosseum, where a small birdhouse sits atop a pillar in the middle of the arena. All the contestants marvel at the sight, fascinated by the birdhouse. Nickel, however, tries to squeeze inside but quickly finds that it’s far too small.
Firey Jr. teases Nickel, asking if he’s jealous that he’ll never experience true elegance. Book, unimpressed, points out that the birdhouse is coated with toxic lead paint, to which Firey Jr. responds that it’s the interior design that’s "truly elegant," not the exterior. Book, finally understanding, nods in agreement.
Bell steps forward and explains the rules for the next challenge: contestants must form groups of three. Bottle then instructs everyone to stand on the mats next to their chosen teammates. Book, Needle, and Pencil agree to form a team together, however, once all the teams are set, a massive wall rises from the ground, separating each contestant from their supposed teammates. Everyone is confused by the sudden shift, but Balloony clarifies that they're actually on teams based on the shapes printed on the mats they were standing on. To Book’s surprise, she is actually on a team with Pin and Nickel. Taco then announces their team name: "The Stars," which Book finds pretty cool.
Barf Bag then explains the next challenge: all members of a team must enter the birdhouse. The first team to do this will win immunity and be safe from elimination, while the rest will be put up for voting. With that, the challenge begins, but Needle pulls Book and Pencil aside, telling them she doesn’t have much time. Book, curious, asks what’s going on. Needle asks them if they plan on getting back together later, and Pencil responds with a confident "yes". Just then, Nickel calls out for Book, telling her to return back to the team. Book assures him she'll be there in a moment.

Meanwhile, Pencil reminds Needle that she’s still waiting for an act of sacrifice to prove Needle’s loyalty. Needle quickly retorts, saying she already did it with the jetpack in the previous episode. Pencil pauses to think, unsure if that actually happened. Before Needle can get Book to confirm, Nickel can be seen pulling the latter away, redirecting her back to her team, leaving Needle frustrated that she couldn't prove her point.
As Nickel led Book back to the team, Pin immediately showed her discomfort with working alongside a FreeSmarter. Book, still unsure of what exactly she had done to upset Pin, remained willing to contribute despite the tension. Pin, however, recalled the incident involving Ice Cube and the swing, keeping the resentment alive. In an attempt to ease the situation, Nickel offered to swing with Pin, hoping to shift the mood. While Pin briefly considered the offer, she maintained her focus on settling things with Book, leaving the tension between them unresolved.
Later, the team spots Coiny, Fries, and Pencil in the distance, holding a shrink ray. Book asks her team what the plan should be, and Pin suggests they should take the shrink ray. Book hesitates, expressing discomfort about the idea of stealing from Pencil. Pin dismisses her concerns, claiming that Pencil is bound to cause chaos. Book, confused by Pin's view of Pencil as chaotic, remarks that Coiny is typically the one involved in mischief. This irritates Pin, who goes on to describe Pencil as bratty, filthy, dangerous, and insane.
Despite Pin’s frustration, Book stands firm, refusing to steal from Pencil. In response, Pin clarifies that she isn't planning on stealing from Coiny either, prompting Nickel to suggest they could take it from Fries instead. Both agree this would be acceptable, so Nickel approaches Fries to ask for the shrink ray. However, he soon returns not only without the ray but also with a hole through his face.
As Nickel tries to recover from the hole in his face, Pin pushes for a more aggressive approach. Despite her mech suit slowing her down, Book quickly takes matters into her own hands, launching Pin towards Fries to start the ambush. While Pin engages Fries, Book charges toward Coiny, who now wields the shrink ray. Coiny fires at her, but Book expertly dodges each shot, using a sentient shield from one of her pages to deflect the lasers. She lunges at Coiny, trapping him in her pages, but he quickly breaks free and the two grapple over the shrink ray. As the struggle intensifies, Fries jumps into the fray, knocking the shrink ray from Book’s grasp.
A chaotic fight ensues between Book, Coiny, Fries, and Pin, with each trying to claim control of the shrink ray. In the midst of the battle, the ray accidentally strikes the birdhouse, shrinking it even further. Everyone freezes, shocked by the unexpected turn of events. In the confusion, Coiny seizes the opportunity to steal the shrink ray from Book and quickly flees the scene along with Fries.
Nickel turns to Book, asking what their next move should be. Book recalls her recent prize and suggests they consult the earliest geniuses from the dawn of time for guidance. She flips through her pages and reveals a sentient Golf Ball, which grosses out Pin.
The sentient Golf Ball explains that through years of archaeological study, she has uncovered the existence of two shrink rays hidden somewhere in Goiky. One is located in a land of mystery and unmatched innovation, promising eternal glory and valor to its discoverers. The other shrink ray, however, is conveniently resting behind a nearby tree. Upon hearing this, the trio exchange glances and quickly turns toward the tree. With a shared sense of purpose, they agree to retrieve the shrink ray sitting atop it, ready to continue their adventure.

Nickel climbs the tree with determination and successfully retrieves the shrink ray. Just as he triumphantly holds it up, he's suddenly hit by Amethyst, causing him to lose his balance and drop the shrink ray. As it falls, Nickel gets stuck in the tree, inadvertently shrinking himself in the process. Book rushes to help Nickel but quickly realizes that Pin is about to topple off the edge. She pivots her focus and hurries to pull Pin back up. However, Book soon discovers that Pin is too heavy for her to lift on her own. Pin explains that her mech suit has been hijacked by Pencil, further complicating the situation.
In a moment of desperation, Pin urges Book to use the shrink ray on her, suggesting that it would make her lighter and easier to pull up. After a brief hesitation, Book ultimately agrees, aiming the shrink ray at Pin and activating it. As the transformation completes, Pencil suddenly jumps out of Pin's mech suit and charges at Pin with her point.
Book quickly advises Pin to take cover in her pages. Pin steps inside, and Book promptly closes the page, blocking Pencil from reaching her. Pencil demands that Book open it, but Book apologizes, insisting that she must protect her fellow teammate. Pencil, however, reminds her that Pin is a nemesis to the FreeSmart cause and taunts Book by recalling when Pin electrocuted her and Ruby, causing them to lose last episode. Despite Book's initial resolve, she eventually relents and opens the pages. Pencil immediately charges after Pin, and Book can feel the scuffle occurring inside her pages.
Feeling the chaos unfold, a sentient Typewriter turns to Book and expresses concern that their world has descended into chaos. The Typewriter encourages her to find the birdhouse, reminding her of the challenge at hand. Motivated by this, Book agrees and quickly makes her way toward the birdhouse. Upon her arrival, Book decides to use the shrink ray on herself, but she soon spots Nickel trapped inside a bubble at a distance.
Nickel calls out for her to help him get larger, pointing out that she has the shrink ray and is the only one who can do it. Book acknowledges this but is just about to step into the birdhouse when Peridot suddenly hits her, causing her to fall onto Nickel's bubble. As she lands, the ink on her pages begins to melt off, and she desperately tries to stop everything from falling apart, but it's too late.
As Pencil and Pin also tumble into the bubble, Book feels a surge of worry for Pin's safety. Determined to help, she pulls out the shrink ray, uses it to shrink herself, and dives into the bubble. Upon entering, she's unexpectedly awarded a gold medal for her dive, which delights her since she’s an aquatic sports textbook. However, her focus quickly shifts back to finding Pin.
After a brief search, she locates Pin and asks if she's okay. Pin bluntly replies that she is, but their moment is interrupted when lead paint begins to rain down into the water. Nickel, puzzled by this, listens as Book explains that touching it will result in poisoning. Panic sets in, and everyone quickly swims away from the descending lead paint, but some fail to evade its toxic touch.
Eventually, it comes down to Book, Nickel, Pencil, and Pin. Realizing time is running out, Book urges them to act quickly. Nickel wonders aloud if the birdhouse has a pocket of air for them to breathe. Pin instructs Book to shoot the birdhouse, and without hesitation, Book complies. The birdhouse lands in the bubble, now surrounded by the hazardous lead paint.
As they rush toward the birdhouse, Pin urges everyone to hurry, but the lead paint proves too overwhelming, causing all but Book to succumb to its toxic effects. Book manages to halt just in time. Later, Coiny and Fries soon arrive on the scene, with Printer warning Fries to steer clear of the lead. However, Fries disregards the advice and attempts to enter the birdhouse, only to fall victim to the poison himself. Coiny, surveying the situation, grimly asks if everyone is dead, to which Book dryly replies, “well said".
Not long after, Tennis Ball, Bomby, and Needle make their entrance, but they too are eager to enter the birdhouse and quickly find themselves poisoned. In a desperate bid to save their teammates, Tennis Ball pulls out some eyedroppers, and together with Book and Coiny, they work to revive the fallen contestants.
Despite their efforts, they soon discover that they cannot move forward due to the lead paint blocking their path. Book notes that the lead concentration is too high to traverse safely. Pin instructs Book to use the zap shooter on Fries, blaming him for the lead's presence in the bubble. Pin urges Book to take aim, and after a few dodged shots, they finally hit Fries on the third attempt when he uses Nickel as a shield—an ineffective strategy given Nickel's predicament.
Amidst the chaos, Pencil tries to target Pin but accidentally hits Book instead, causing her to shrink down further. Soon, everyone finds themselves shrunken to a minuscule size, and as they continue firing shots at each other, Tennis Ball suddenly realizes they have reached the atomic level.
Coiny, thinking quickly, removes three protons from an atom, and Tennis Ball observes that it has now transformed into gold, a substance safe to touch, reminiscent of Book's recently awarded gold medal. Seizing the opportunity, Coiny instructs Fries and Pencil to follow suit, plucking three protons from each atom they can find.

Book's medal
In a swift motion, they throw the extracted protons at their fellow contestants, ensuring that everyone else gets poisoned, including Book. The others gasp as the toxins take effect, collapsing one by one. With their opponents incapacitated, Coiny, Fries, and Pencil make their way into the birdhouse, their path now clear. They step inside triumphantly, securing their victory in the challenge while the rest of the contestants are left in a state of disarray and up for elimination.
In "Respect to the Wicked," the BFDIA contestants experiment with atoms, leading to an unintentional collision that triggers a sudden explosion. The water droplet they reside on launches, lands on the window of the Locker of Losers (LOL), and slides into Balloony's eye. Intrigued by their new surroundings, the contestants begin to explore. Book swims toward Balloony's pupil, which she describes as resembling a large pit.
Seizing the moment, the contestants decide to hold a Cake at Stake ceremony. Balloony prompts them to guess who got the most likes. Book confidently assumes she did, only for Balloony to reveal that she didn’t. They turn to TV for confirmation of the results, but his screen is obstructed by multiple layers of duct tape. When Book points this out, Coiny removes the tape, revealing that it was actually Tennis Ball who received the most likes.
Later, Pillow stirs up dust, causing Balloony to reflexively close his eye. Inside, chaos erupts as the contestants scramble to avoid being crushed. Tennis Ball attempts to construct reinforcements to hold the eye open, but the structure collapses after mere seconds. The eye shuts, crushing everyone inside. However, they are eventually recovered by Balloony.
Afterward, the contestants regroup to conclude the rest of the Cake at Stake. Book is announced as the fourth contestant to be safe, surviving with 13,556 dislikes. She receives her prize: a single grain of rice, which Tennis Ball feeds to her. Following the elimination, the remaining contestants are transported to the grasslands for the next phase. Pencil promptly calls all FreeSmarters to regroup. Book and Needle join her, but their unity is interrupted when Coiny and Pin approach, attempting to persuade Needle to rejoin W.O.A.H. Bunch.
A heated argument breaks out between the two teams over who gets Needle. To resolve the dispute, they turn to Needle for her choice. Overwhelmed by the conflicting demands, Needle makes the bold decision to compete for both teams simultaneously. Book, concerned, points out that this move will certainly put Needle at risk of elimination. Despite the warning, Needle stands firm in her choice.
The wheel for the next challenge lands on "scavenger tag," leaving Book puzzled about its meaning. Balloony explains the rules: each team must select a prized possession as their trinket to represent their team. Book and Pencil immediately turn to the FreeSmart SuperVan, admiring it with enthusiasm and designating it as their team's trinket. However, when Balloony further explains that their trinkets must be hidden and kept out of reach from the other teams, they quickly realize the van's size makes it difficult to hide and ask Balloony if they can choose a different object. Ignoring their plea, Balloony instructs all teams to hide their trinkets immediately.

The contestants scatter, heading off in different directions to conceal their items. After regrouping, Pencil confidently assures Book that no one will ever find their van. Book, equally self-assured, commends her own hiding spot. However, when the challenge begins, the other teams locate the van almost instantly, as it had been poorly hidden behind a tree. The contestants rush toward the van, eager to tag it.
Panicking, Pencil grabs the van and tosses it toward Book, instructing her to catch it. Book initially agrees but quickly changes her mind, realizing the risk. However, it's too late—the van is already soaring through the air. Thinking fast, Book pulls a tennis racket from one of her pages and uses it to hit the van back to Pencil. What follows is a chaotic back-and-forth game of keep-away between the two as they try to keep the van out of reach of the other teams. Realizing the futility of this strategy, Book suggests driving the van away to create distance between their trinket and the other contestants. Pencil agrees, and the FreeSmarters quickly climb into the van and speed off, leaving their pursuers scrambling to keep up.
Inside the van, Book, Pencil, and Needle notice that Coiny and Pin are still pursuing them, making it clear they can't drive forever. After some discussion, they settle on the idea of hiding the van underwater. Pin's mech suit can't get wet, so it would make the van unreachable for her. Pencil turns to Book, asking if she knows of any nearby places with a large body of water, and Book suggests the desert. Pencil seems unsatisfied with this answer, prompting Book to elaborate. She explains that there’s actually a desert oasis with a massive lake where they could submerge the van, making it the perfect hiding spot.
Needle, curious about the distance, asks if they'd be able to reach it in time. Book grimly replies that they’d run out of gas before even getting close. Seeing Pencil’s disappointment, Book quickly adds that there’s a gas station on the way, and if they stop to refuel, they’d definitely make it. Pencil’s spirits lift again as she asks if there’s anything else they should know, and Book assures her there’s nothing more to worry about, finishing with a confident declaration that they’re definitely going to win. She celebrates by doing a happy dance.
As they continue their drive, Book comments that the journey feels like a road trip, and Pencil agrees. To set a fun tone, Pencil suggests turning on some music, but once she does, the horrible tunes on the radio immediately ruin the mood. She quickly shuts it off in frustration.
Not long after, they come to a bifurcation in the road, presenting two options: one to the Forest of Cutlery and the other to Pleasant Peachy Paradise. Book asks Pencil which route they should take, but Pencil sarcastically asks which one Book thinks they’ll take. Before Book can even process, Pencil accidentally drives straight through the middle, unintentionally entering a vast cornfield. Surrounded by towering corn stalks, Book quickly warns Pencil to avoid hitting them, but it’s too late. The sheer volume of corn overwhelms the windshield, smashing it entirely and causing corn to flood inside the van.

"Watch out, Pencil! Avoid the corn!"
Just when it seems things can't get worse, Coiny and Pin catch up to them. However, they manage to spot a gas station in the distance. Book quickly springs into action, repairing the windshield and cleaning the rest of the van. Pencil refuels the gas, while Needle heads inside the store to grab snacks. Once all the tasks are done, the trio jump back into the van and speeds off, narrowly escaping their pursuers.
On the way, Pencil grumbles about the cornfield and then asks Book how much closer they are to the desert. Book tells her to make a sharp right, and when Pencil follows the instruction, they suddenly find themselves in the desert. Needle, feeling the intense heat, complains, prompting Pencil to turn on the air conditioning. However, the AC is cranked too high, sending a massive gust of wind in Needle’s direction, which causes her—along with a pile of corn—to fall out of the van. Book looks concerned, but Pencil only observes with a smirk that the member-to-non-member ratio has improved.
They continue on, eventually arriving at the oasis. Pencil struggles to push the van into the lake, and when she asks Needle for help, Book reminds her that she’s there too. Pencil insists that she really needs Needle for this task, and just then, Needle reappears. Pencil instructs her to push the van into the water, and Needle complies. As the van begins to sink, Book warns them that she’s still inside, but it’s too late. The van, along with Book, sinks to the bottom of the lake.
The van sinks into the oasis, followed closely by Coiny. As the van reaches the surface, Book finds herself in a cave. She remarks that this is now the third time she’s been trapped underwater in a van, then questions her surroundings. Just then, Coiny emerges from the water, causing Book to panic as she realizes she has no idea how to drive a van. Coiny, however, assures her that there’s no use trying, just as Book slams Coiny into a wall using the back of the van. She apologizes before backing up, and Coiny survives the impact. Book continues to drive away, with Coiny swiftly following.
As Book drives on, she eventually notices Fries in her path. Initially panicking, she then realizes that Fries is glowing blue. She stops the van and scans through her pages, recognizing the ominous blue glow as the "Noctiluca Yoylean," a parasitic, invasive species in the Goiky region.
Book attempts to run it over, but the impact sends the van flying upwards and out of a hole. The van begins plummeting toward the ground, directly above Pencil. Instead of trying to dodge, Pencil accepts her fate and braces for impact. However, Needle notices this and quickly dashes toward the van, breaking its fall and preventing it from crushing Pencil. Book steps out of the van, and she and Pencil both cheer in celebration, dancing around Needle in appreciation for saving them. However, their moment of celebration is short-lived when Pin points out that Needle was wearing the W.O.A.H Bunch sticky note when she saved them, meaning she technically tagged out FreeSmart as a W.O.A.H Bunch member.

Needle insists that she didn't mean to, but it’s too late. Balloony arrives, confirming that FreeSmart is now out of the game due to being tagged out by Needle, and they are now up for elimination. Book and Pencil boo Needle as they dance around her, accusing her of failing them. In response, Pin intentionally pushes Needle over, causing her to lose her grip on the van. The van slips from Needle’s hold and falls, landing on Book and Pencil, crushing them to death.
In "Start the Shift", Book is recovered by Tennis Ball, and the BFDIA contestants quickly grow tired of Balloony's hosting. In a collective decision, they agree to get rid of him. The contestants quickly recover Spongy, and Book presses a button labeled "eliminated Spongy," which flings him into the air. As Spongy plummets directly above the Locker of Losers (LOL), Balloony attempts to dodge, but his efforts fail as Spongy lands directly on the fan, getting shredded in the process.
Realizing that the contestants no longer want him around, Balloony reluctantly calls for someone else to take over as host before quickly leaving with the other LOLers. The new host is revealed to be Firey, joined by the other eliminated contestants. Ruby and Ice Cube are excited to see Book, Needle, and Pencil, declaring it a FreeSmart reunion as the group of five shares a heartfelt hug, filled with warmth and excitement.
Later, the Cake at Stake is held, and Book is announced as safe with 10,303 dislikes. However, Pencil ends up being eliminated. In a swift motion, Book and Needle act quickly, taping Pencil to the ground, adding various chains around her, and placing a shatterproof box on top of her. The box reads the words "Elimination Prevention Box". However, Pencil subsequently bursts out of the box, upon hearing that being eliminated means she'll now get to host alongside the other eliminated contestants.
After the Cake at Stake, the remaining contestants advance to the final seven. Book asks Needle if FreeSmart is still up and running. Coiny laughs at the question, while Pin adds that with Pencil gone, FreeSmart is practically dead. Book retorts that this isn't true, but Pencil chimes in, saying that it actually is. Book then turns to Needle and tells her that even if Pencil is gone, she and Needle can still keep the FreeSmart name alive.
Needle seems reluctant, stating that she wants to continue playing for both teams—FreeSmart and W.O.A.H. Bunch. Coiny and Pin immediately protest. Book politely tells Needle that the two-team act almost got her out last time, suggesting she should just pick a side. Coiny tries to convince Needle to play for W.O.A.H. Bunch, while Book does the same for FreeSmart. Pin chimes in, telling Book that she won't let her take Needle away from her and Coiny. Soon, all the contestants are arguing over who should have Needle on their team. The fight escalates until Needle snaps, finally deciding that she wants to play with Fries, shocking everyone.
Book, visibly frustrated, says that without Needle, she's the only one holding up FreeSmart, but Needle's decision is already final. After everyone switches teams, Book spins the wheel for the next contest, which lands on "be your truest self". This challenge requires contestants to restore their original appearances, as many have undergone significant changes throughout the competition.
As Golf Ball begins to explain the challenge, Book interrupts, pointing out that she already looks like her "truest self", so the others rush to change her appearance. Golf Ball, noticing the situation, comments that the problem has already been solved. With the rules now clear, the contest officially begins.

Book's new appearance.
Book begins to panic, realizing she's not only completely alone but also the furthest from her original appearance compared to the other contestants. Nickel questions her claim, pointing out that Fries was just splattered to death. Book snaps back, saying it's not a competition, to which Nickel reminds her that it literally is since they’re in the middle of one. Feeling overwhelmed, Book laments that she’s so disheveled she’d need an entire superstore’s worth of makeovers to restore her original appearance. Conveniently, she spots a superstore nearby, which seems like the perfect solution for her challenge, and she hurriedly dashes toward it.
Inside the superstore, Book examines the center map and notices that “Magazine Makeovers” is located on the top floor. She promptly uses the elevator to ascend. Upon reaching the front desk, she immediately requests a full makeover, explaining that her cover is burnt and battered, her pages are disorganized, and someone has scribbled all over one of them. Mirror, horrified by her condition, agrees to help, expressing excitement about the challenge. Book awkwardly thanks her.
Before the process begins, Spool appears, announcing that they’ve run out of replacement pages. Book is taken aback and questions how that’s possible for a business specializing in magazines. Spool explains that their business is booming, which has led to the shortage. When Book asks what she should do, Mirror suggests visiting the print store downstairs to bring her own paper, assuring her that she’ll be as good as new once she does. Grateful for the advice, Book thanks Mirror before quickly departing.
At the print store, Book is startled to see Pan Flute working at the front desk. She blurts out that she thought he was dead, but Pan Flute calmly clarifies that he’s very much alive. Curious, Book then asks what he’s doing there, pointing out that he’s supposed to be a composer. Pan Flute explains that his entire orchestra is gone, and after word spread that his last concert was plagued by a bug infestation, his career took a nosedive. Sympathetic, Book tells him that’s awful before asking for some paper. Pan Flute offers her a deal: he’ll give her the paper she needs if she helps him revive his musical career. Book hesitates, pointing out that the deal seems heavily one-sided, but reluctantly agrees before heading off.
Book heads to the career advisor, Awesome iPod, and asks for help securing a musical career for Pan Flute. Awesome iPod clarifies that it’s not as simple as just giving someone a career but assures Book they’ll see what they can do. However, they add a condition: Book needs to bring them a fruit cup from downstairs. Frustrated by the endless stream of favors, Book groans and asks if it’s really necessary. Awesome iPod responds with a firm "yes," leaving Book with no choice but to agree before heading off.
Book is then shown wandering from venue to venue, trying to fulfill the favor chain, but each stop only leads to more demands. Pineapple asks for a first aid kit, Bandy Aid requests a buzzer, Propeller Hat wants a cow lamp, Mr. Cookie asks for a pair of wings, Grape requests lemonade, and Soda asks for fries. Finally, Book realizes that fries are something she can actually deliver, so she eagerly sets off to find some and break the cycle.
As Book exits the superstore, she’s abruptly stopped by Ice Cube, who excitedly calls her over to hang out with her, Pencil, and Ruby. Book hesitates, explaining that she’s in the middle of the challenge and needs to stay focused. However, Ruby pleads persistently, and Book eventually agrees to join them. Once together, Ice Cube asks Book where she had been. Book begins explaining that she needed a makeover and mentions the nearby superstore. Before she can finish her sentence, the words "superstore" and "makeover" instantly catch Ice Cube, Pencil, and Ruby's attention. Without a second thought, the trio excitedly dashes off toward the superstore, leaving Book standing there, completely baffled.

As Book continues her challenge, she eventually spots Fries and swiftly picks him up, determined to bring him back to the superstore. However, as she sprints toward her destination, Needle relentlessly chases after her, yelling for her to stop. Their chase comes to an abrupt halt when they encounter a web of cracks in the ground. Moments later, Pin and Coiny emerge from the fissures before plummeting back down.
Coiny greets them casually, remarking that none of them seem to have made any progress in the challenge and that they all look exactly the same. Book, undeterred, declares, “Not for long!” before snatching Fries and bolting away with him. As she runs, she mutters that she just needs Fries to strike a deal with the shopkeepers to complete her makeover. Pin and Coiny, realizing their opportunity slipping away, quickly give chase, shouting that they need Fries because he has their Yoylite. Needle joins the pursuit, adding that Fries is her teammate and she needs him for her own progress in the challenge.
Despite their relentless pursuit, Book manages to make it into the superstore, where Soda rewards her with the lemonade she needs. Carrying the lemonade, Book heads toward the elevator to ascend to the next floor but stops in her tracks upon noticing a sign indicating it’s out of order. The sign directs her to use the escalator instead.
Confused, she remarks that the elevator had been working perfectly fine earlier. Ruby, standing nearby, sheepishly confesses that it’s her fault. Curious, Book asks what Ruby could have possibly done to cause the elevator to break. The scene cuts to a flashback, showing Ruby, overwhelmed with excitement to shop, diving into the elevator and accidentally tearing a hole through it as she crashes downward. Back in the present, Ruby tries to justify her actions, claiming she couldn’t contain her enthusiasm. Book sighs, brushing it off, and proceeds toward the escalator.
Book heads to the next floor, delivering the lemonade to Grape, who, in exchange, gives her the pair of wings she needed. The cycle continues as Book fulfills each of the others' requests, steadily earning the support of Ruby, Ice Cube, and Pencil along the way. Despite the exhausting task, Book pushes forward, determined to complete the challenge.
Eventually, she arrives back at "Magazine Makeovers" with the paper she needs. Book approaches Mirror and asks for the makeover. Mirror, clearly impressed by Book's resilience, agrees to help and begins working on the makeover alongside. As they work, Spool asks Book how she'd like her cover to look. Book, still exhausted but determined, responds that she’d like it to be two-toned—green and blue. Spool takes note of her request and continues working, ensuring the makeover is as requested.
After Book's makeover, she heads to the scanner and places herself onto the platform, only to be rejected. Confused, she asks what went wrong. Pencil, noticing the mistake, points out that her cover is backwards. This realization frustrates Book, as all her hard work seems to have been in vain. She reflects on her failed attempt, feeling disheartened by the setback.

Just then, Tennis Ball arrives and accidentally collides with Fries, causing a massive explosion. Book, startled, asks what just happened, and Golf Ball speculates that it must have been a chemical reaction between Yoylite and Noctiluca Yoylean samples. Golf Ball explains that these substances are highly volatile when colliding at extreme speeds. Book's mood shifts when she realizes that while they found the Yoylite, they didn't handle it properly, and the chances of encountering another Yoylite may be slim.
As the chaos continues, Coiny and Pin manage to scan themselves successfully, securing their safety. This results in all the other contestants, including Book, being put up for elimination.
In "Airplanes in the Night Sky", Book is first seen after being picked up by Mirror, who claimed that Book was a satisfied customer. When Book complains about her "makeover", Mirror proceeds to rip her in half. Book is later revived in preparation for the elimination, and notices Ice Cube's absence from the other WTFers. Book received 39,145 likes in total, which was not enough to win her the prize. Book managed to escape the bottom two in dislikes, only receiving 13,235 in total. Book later asks Ice Cube where she had gone after the latter arrives back in Yoyleland. She is confused when Ice Cube suggests that they leave. Book joins her fellow contestants and WTFers in Fries' FriesMart ScooperVan.
Book repeatedly gets shoved down at the start of the challenge. She later attempts to climb the radio tower to get her first light. She attempts to throw one of her papers after Fries, who was ahead of her on the ladder. Once both of them make it to the top, Fries jumps on Book, which causes both of them to fall to the bottom. Firey later points out how Book was the only contestant with none of her lights flipped on. Book manages to reach the top again, asking Coiny if he could update his radio transmission on how she had finally made it up. However, Tennis Ball then knocks her off again after being launched from the lighthouse.
Pin later finds Book and bashes her "unimpressive performance". Book defends herself and explains that Tennis Ball had knocked her off, although Pin ignores her. Book then holds onto Pin's battery while she was climbing which the latter is completely unaware of. Pin later realizes Book was holding onto her after Book reacts to Pin indirectly insulting her. The two argue over how Book was going to "stab her in the back" again and Pin's morals with how she threatened her with a knife. Book manages to get a lead on Pin and activates her first light. Pin spits her spoon at Book, leading the latter to dodge and accidentally deactivate one of Tennis Ball's lights.
Following this, Book and the other contestants get into a light-activating chaos, repeatedly going to each tower and reactivating her lights while the others disabled hers. Book comes up with the game plan to stop anyone else from reaching the top of the towers in order to secure a win. Book makes it to the top of the radio tower again and notices Tennis Ball being chased by Fries and Pin. She knocks down the tower's ladder in order to stop them. She's relieved that nobody could get up (albeit upset with accidentally killing Fries) until she is reminded by Pin that she now had no way of getting back down.
Book folds together a paper airplane out of her papers to safely leave the radio tower. Fries and Coiny work together to deactivate Book's only active light after seeing her fly nearby. Book lands on the lighthouse and knocks Tennis Ball down the flight of stairs. Although Tennis Ball had taped all of their lights together, Book decides to activate all of them to "spread the love". While on the lighthouse, Book then makes a pair of wings with more of her papers. Book briefly chats with Needle after she is thrown onto the lighthouse by Tennis Ball. She offers to help make Needle a pair of wings as well, but Needle decides to jump off to go after Tennis Ball instead.
Book's second light, along with everyone elses, gets activated by Pin after she supercharges every light that Tennis Ball had electrified on the watchtower. Book flies over to Needle and Fries and offers them a lift. Fries then aims Tennis Ball's light beam at Book which temporarily blinds her. Book crashes onto the radio tower. She then begins to climb the tower in a race to the finish. Book unties Needle from the grappling hook and orders her to follow behind her. Book manages to take the lead after Needle successfully gets rid of Tennis Ball. Book is trailed by Pin as she finally manages to make it to the top of the tower. However, using Fries' drill, Pin brutally murders Book and rips her to shreds, securing the immunity spot for herself. As a result, Book is up for elimination.
In "🥚", Book and Fries are revived by Tennis Ball at the start of the challenge to collect ten unique items. Book reflects on her painful death, while Fries mocks her appearance, prompting Book to kick him. During the elimination, Book is declared safe with 15,579 dislikes. Following the elimination, the fish monster takes over as the new host, and the remaining contestants are relocated to the Pristine Plains. The challenge is revealed: collect 10 unique items and place them in personal baskets. Each item must be completely unique, and once claimed, no one else can use it.
With that, the challenge begins. Book tries to form alliances, first with Needle and then with Tennis Ball, but is rejected by both, with Tennis Ball telling her she isnt exactly a "power player". Left alone, Book collects a bug hive and watches Pin cleverly extract multiple items from a single tree. Pin boasts to Book that she’s way ahead, but Book reminds her the challenge isn’t over yet. Pin sharply replies that she’s not stupid before quickly departing.
Later, Coiny deposits a rock, and Book questions whether the items people are collecting really matter, suggesting that if the goal is to impress the fish monster, they should focus on finding truly rare and unique objects. Coiny sarcastically offers "air" and blows into his basket—only to find that it's been registered as a valid item, bringing his total up to seven. Excited, he dashes off again to find more items. Meanwhile, Book sticks to her theory that rare items must count for more. However, the fish monster bluntly tells her it doesn’t care. Despite this, Book remains determined to collect something meaningful.
Elsewhere, Needle starts to feel disheartened by how far ahead the others are. Book, trying to be supportive, points out that at least Needle’s doing better than she is. Needle tells Book that everyone always does better than her. Book tells her “quality over quantity”, but Needle insists that doesn’t apply to this challenge.
Book bets that an ice cream sundae will count as 2,763 items. However, the fish monster cuts in, stating that she’d lose that bet, and the challenge, since it would only count as one. Needle tells Book that she’s not just losing the challenge, but her mind too, before sprinting off to find more items. Disheartened, Book walks away before encountering Leafy, who tries to help her advance in the challenge by baking a giant ice cream sundae for her. Leafy also tries to be friends with Book, and even gifts her a taped-up map.

Book, feeling overwhelmed, asks if they can focus on the challenge for now. Leafy takes offense to this and storms off, leaving Book with the sundae, which attracts a crowd of recommended characters. Book sees this as an opportunity and runs with the sundae to her basket.
Later, Needle catches up to Book and asks why she has so many people following her. Book explains that the crowd is drawn to the ice cream sundae she’s carrying. Needle, realizes she wouldn't be able to reach 10 items before Book does. However, she is soon inspired by Book to break her spaceship into parts to count as multiple items. She speeds off to the basket as Book follows, saying that she wants to win too.
As Book races toward her basket with the crowd, Pin tries to steal the win by tripping her, causing Book to drop the sundae, which heads straight for Pin's basket. However, Needle kicks her own basket forward at the last moment, catching the sundae. The fish monster declares Needle the winner, but clarifies that this was only phase one of the challenge, before adding that the second phase is about to begin.

Book in IDFB
In "Welcome Back", Book is one of the FreeSmarters residing on top of the Yoyle Needy. She asks Ruby if she had indeed left the lens cap on the camera all this time. After Pencil falls off the Yoyle Needy, Book tells the others to run down the stairs and catch her before she hits the ground. She warns Ruby that her "faster way" (which involves jumping down the center of the Needy) will lead to her death. Book successfully catches Pencil. When Ice Cube sacrifices herself to save a burning Woody, Book is in awe, saying that was selfless. She reminds Pencil to recover Ruby too.
Later, Book walks with Pencil to the HPRC, discussing the possibility of bringing Match out of the TLC. Oddly, Pencil doesn't seem to care, much to Book's surprise. When Book utters the word "needy," she instinctively holds out her hands, expecting a slap from Needle. Pencil and Book proceed to recover Bubble, "ROOOOOBEEEEEEE," and Ice Cube, and the FreeSmarters celebrate by dancing together.
During the voting screen, Book claims to be an IDFB tips and tricks guidebook and tells the viewers to visit the links in the description to recommend a character or discuss the episode.
Battle for BFDI[]

Book in Battle for BFDI
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Book is first seen watching Cake and Pie play tic-tac-toe. Pencil asks her to help find a "criminal", but Book continues to watch Cake and Pie. Pencil says that if Book doesn't help, she will be expelled. Book points out that she's an alternate, which annoys Pencil. She later asks Four what he can do.
When it is time to form teams, she and Ice Cube leave Pencil's alliance and join Gaty's team, shocking Pencil and Match. She mainly decided not to join the alliance as she thought it's unhealthy for her and Ice Cube. Now in Gaty's team, she picks Dora and Teardrop. The team's eight members name their team by saying their names all at once. Book, Saw, and Teardrop flutter their arms at Four when he says the teams are "all set to go", as they aren't ready. The challenge has
run through a desert to get a basket, but they lose Ice Cube, Lollipop, and Teardrop, before Book explodes into flames off-screen. Saw and Dora are the only two survivors, Saw grabbing the basket and returning it to X.
In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", Book is freed from a Jawbreaker by Dora, making the first team to finish. She is later seen hugging Ice Cube when she's also freed. Later, Book notices that Ice Cube looks nervous and asks if something happened. Ice Cube shakes no, so Book says that if anything bad happens, she can always tell her. Book is also shown when Lollipop's dead remains are tossed back to her team.
In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", she discusses Taco's absence with Ice Cube, jumping to the conclusion Taco has "abandoned" due to their slowness in getting the basket. She hugs Ice Cube in sadness shortly afterward, while Taco herself - stuck in a jawbreaker - tries to tell them that it's not true. But sound was unable to come out of the Jawbreaker, so Book and Ice Cube were unable to hear her.
Book is the only one pushing through and swinging the full 50 swings, granting safety. She is angry at Taco, who frees herself after they finished. She yells at Taco twice.
In "Today's Very Special Episode", after Bracelety says that Ice Cube is safe, Book says that doesn't make sense because Ice Cube is on and their team isn't up for voting. Book continues to shun Taco for her actions in the previous episode, saying that she "doesn't need to be killed to be deceased in [her] eyes".
In "Fortunate Ben", she has one line where she asks Four where X went. Four tells her X went to the "limb reattachment center". Before the challenge begins, she looks over at Taco angrily when the entire team is on the paper airplane.

In "Four Goes Too Far", she is first seen asking Donut what the twinkle has to do with the contest. She later appears in the heart scene, and when she hitches a ride on Golf Ball's rocket. In space, she tells Saw that space is fun, and if she looks that way, she could see Earth. However, upon doing so, Saw is infected with the Twinkle.
The Twinkle is then passed to the other members of until Taco lets go of Dora and falls. Taco's "abandoning" is met with negative responses. Both teams A Better Name Than That and
have a stare-off on The Moon, passing the Twinkle over until one of their team's loses. However, Book suggests that it might get sent back to Earth. When Taco tricks Bell into looking at the Moon, Book is one of the many ones on the Moon who celebrates. However, the rocket breaks down, leaving both teams stranded for the next two episodes.
In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", she dips some chips into the rocket's communicator dish, even though she didn't bring anything before jumping onto the rocket. Robot Flower eventually breaks the signal between herself and Remote, keeping safe for another day.
In "Questions Answered", she witnesses Donut broadcasting himself and warping the Earth through his camera. A Better Name Than That and are finally saved from the Moon. Later, she is seen with Saw after she gets "What is snow + gasoline?" wrong (she answered "Eight!"). She comforts her, saying that people's lips can slip up sometimes. As Saw gets more questions wrong, Book starts to fear that fumes are starting to get to her after all. She is seen worried when Donut plays an audio recording of Four's screech. Saw eventually gets "What is the past tense of 'eat'?" correct.
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", she reassures X that it's okay if he can't announce the challenge. She and Teardrop later throw balls, missing. However, off-screen, they finally get their basket down, granting another immunity.
In "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", Book tells Lollipop that Taco will not be chosen for 's runner. However, the way she says it confuses Lollipop, who interprets it as Book telling Lollipop that she will not participate. However, she reiterates, saying she was talking about Taco. Lollipop tells Book to speak to Taco and directly tell Taco she won't participate. When Book snaps at Lollipop for her "attitude", Gaty defuses the situation and tells Book to send up Dora instead.
However, Dora hasn't started, only going to a stance. Just as iance member Flower is just about to push the button, Dora shoots past Bomby, Balloony, and Tennis Ball and presses it. is the second team safe.
In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Lollipop asks Taco (who is actually Pin) for a strategy, but Book argues that they shouldn't ask her since she'd probably abandon them again. When Gaty asks Taco to spill her strategy, Book claims that the team does not need a strategy and that Lollipop is fake, which is incorrect. Once Teardrop rats Taco out, Book is truly enraged because Taco has "abandoned" again, and momentarily loses it.

In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Book is seen watching Taco through binoculars and tells Lollipop how Taco won't even talk to her. Lollipop says that Book is exhausting her. Book and Lollipop then see that Saw has returned. Book demands an explanation for why Saw left. Saw explains that she was on a scent cleanse, but Book is still mad and accuses Saw of abandoning them. Book is angry that none of her other team members are mad at Saw and brings Ice Cube next to her. Book says that she and Ice Cube were not cared for by their former team, and that is just the same.
Book says she speaks for herself and Ice Cube when she wants things to change. Ice Cube then tells Book to let her think for herself (a reference to "Get in the Van", when Pin told Book to let Ice Cube think for herself) and moves away from her. Book thought they had been on the same page the whole time, and didn't realize that Ice Cube didn't agree.
Ice Cube announces that she does not agree, and is going to do what she wants instead of what Book wants. Book asks Ice Cube what she wants; Ice Cube replies that she is going to switch teams. Book, Lollipop, Gaty, and Saw, are shocked by this and gasp. Gaty asks Book if Ice Cube can just switch teams. Book replies that she can't, as it isn't BFDIA anymore. Coiny yells that he knows that already, and Book is angry that people keep distracting her today. She begins to continue saying something, but everyone has left.
Later, after the challenge has started, Book is seen looking through the binoculars again. Gaty tries to convince the team to come together for the challenge, even though some of them don't get along. Book asks if by "some of them" Gaty means Taco, since she isn't even standing with the team. Book begins ranting about Taco, and Gaty says that they need to talk, and drags Book along.
Lollipop says that it's time to get Book's cover judged. Gaty asks what's wrong with Book lately. Book tries to turn the question around, but Gaty again asks Book and says that she has gone from a clear-headed friend to an aggressive person that she doesn't recognize anymore. Book again says how she and Ice Cube's former team mistreated them, and she believes that is doing the same thing. Gaty asks Book if she has not been paying attention, as the rest of the team already realized they were overreacting about Taco. Book is surprised and angered that Gaty honors Taco's name. Gaty repeats the word "Taco", and each time she hears it, Book makes a different disgusted look. Gaty says this is what she means about Book being irrational, and that Book should not be aggressive to her allies. Book is outraged at Gaty calling Taco an ally.
Gaty says that if Book thinks she is right, and that her yelling is helping the team and Ice Cube, she must ask Book what the first words she remembers saying are. Book remembers that in "The Reveal" she said, "I'm a dictionary, and you'd better believe it!" Gaty suggests that Book look inside herself and see what her definition is, as it may have changed. Book is angered by this and begins to scold Gaty, but she walks away. Book calls for Gaty to come back, but she doesn't listen. Book decides to look herself up. At first, the definition says "a nice friend who has an elegant two-tone cover". But it then becomes garbled, and the only legible word becomes "mean". Book closes herself and realizes that she might be doing something wrong.

Book's sacrifice
In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Book is seen walking up to Taco, before she hesitates and walks away. She runs into Pin, and asks what she wants. Pin said she was going to ask Book something, but she doesn't want to because Book is brushing her aside, just like in "Get in the Van". Book says she doesn't want to associate with Match, or the rest of FreeSmart anymore because she wants to keep Ice Cube safe.
Pin asks how protecting Ice Cube is going, and also questions why she was going to talk with Taco. Book explains that she thought she was doing the team a favor by shunning Taco for constantly "abandoning" them, even though she wasn't. She realized that she only made the team worse, to the point where Ice Cube doesn't want to be in it, and she wanted to apologize for that.
Pin tells Book she knows how she feels and suggests that she should stop trying to make Taco happy with her and just make her happy. Pin asks Book if there was anything Book wouldn't let her team have, and she responds with freedom. Their conversation is suddenly interrupted by the lava reaching the surface. Book exclaims that she has to save Ice Cube and Taco, so she pushes them both out of the way of the lava, killing herself.
In "The Four is Lava", Book is recovered by Four, at Taco's request, for their team's Cake at Stake. When Ice Cube gets her happy thought for being safe, Book is happy to see how happy Ice Cube looks (not knowing Ice Cube is thinking about her burning alive). Book ends up being the sixth contestant safe at 4,419 votes. Her happy thought is her successfully convincing the Announcer that Dream Island is hers in "Reveal Novum". Shortly after Four announces that the contest is to get to him, Book and the rest of are declared safe, as they were already in his presence for Cake at Stake. Book attempts to speak with Gaty about Dora's elimination, but she is too angry with her to speak with her. Later, Book is seen still on a bench in the lava, and Taco says she wants to talk to her but gets interrupted by Four.
In "The Escape from Four", Book can be seen walking with the other contestants to watch Four struggle at sucking up Spongy. She then helps with trying to free the eliminated contestants from Four. Book tells Taco that she won't force her to stay with the rest of the team. As Taco walks away smiling, Book tells her she can tell them about her time on BFB when the gang gets back together. Rather than staying with Four, Book decides to compete in TPOT.
Battle for BFB[]
In "X Marks the Spot", Book and the rest of the TPOT contestants gasp when they saw the BFB contestants use the lasso to grab X.
Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two[]

Book in Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Book tries to stay with Gaty and Saw, but Gaty suggests she tries making new friends. She tries talking to Ice Cube but she angrily walks away from her. Book is then grabbed by Pillow as she begins reading through her pages. Pillow eventually puts her down, and Book says that she'd appreciate if she didn't just read her, and Pillow says she was just looking at the pictures.
Book then decides that they should hurry and join a team and end up on Naily's team. Book is happy to be with Bomby since they both cranked the HPHPRCC in BFDIA 5d, along with Nickel who she invites. Book tries ensuring Price Tag that their team name won't be stupid, but it ends up being Just Not. During the challenge, her team takes the elevator, which gets stuck when Snowball forcefully pries the door open. They eventually get bounced up to the top floor by Basketball and win the challenge.
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Book accidentally blocks Bomby when they both try to stack a block. Bomby gets angry and starts screaming at Book, insisting that he can stack alone. Pillow then randomly leaves the team and Book asks where she's going. Pillow responds with that she usually doesn't know and walks away, confusing Book. Book then asks herself if it was something she'd have to get used to, and Tree randomly shows up saying "Yep, pretty much.", causing Book and the tower to fall.
A few scenes later, Nickel mentions that Pillow, Price Tag, and Naily had been gone for a while. Book tries to lighten the mood saying that they probably had reasons, but Nickel and Cake say that they didn't seem to have a reason, and Naily wasn't here to begin with. She then tries to say that they could be stuck in a ball, referencing her relations with Taco. Near the end of the episode, Remote knocks over their tower, causing Book and Bomby to quickly rebuild it. They manage to stack a total of 6 blocks.
In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Book panics when her team hasn't picked an idea for their attraction. Cake suggests getting a lot of stuff to serve as prizes for the amusement park. Book walks with her team to the hotel to see what items they can use. After grabbing some garbage, they are carried back to the park by Robot Flower. Two isn't impressed with their garbage, so Book presents it on a table. Price Tag shows that the garbage has value, which gives the team a 3/10, making them safe from elimination.

In "Gardening Zero", Book is first seen playing Yoyle Chess with Pillow and Cake. During the challenge, Book is the member of Just Not to choose the biome they go to, getting the desert. Book continues playing Yoyle Chess while there, only leaving when Nickel reminds them that they need to protect their Funny Plant.
The team splits up, and Book reports she could not find water while searching the desert when she returns; she decides to read motivational quotes to the plant from her, which successfully causes it to grow. After Cake kills the Funny Plant due to unknowingly pouring cursed water on it, Book assures him that it isn't his fault, and that she should have warned him about what happens when water touches the Yellow Face skeleton.
In "Fishes and Dishes", she is first seen near a pool, counting it as useless. She turns her attention to the new plates, saying she'd like to stare at them all day, until Pillow swipes the one she's holding and shatters it. In Cake at Stake, Book is in the bottom two with Naily but she survives with 2,822 votes. For the challenge, Book's team decides that they should burst into the canal by falling from a high distance. Pillow alters the definition of gravity inside of Book to "something that we can mess with", allowing the team to break the laws of gravity by infinitely stacking items into the sky. Book ends up getting electrocuted by lightning along the way and falls out of the sky. Book's team is safe when Pillow turns in a plate to Two.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", the episode starts with her intimidating a dragon, as well as presenting her teammates' powers and roles against the dragon. However, Pillow ends the game prematurely by blowing up Bomby to kill the dragon, which kills all of them. Book throws the box of the game they're playing to get Golf Ball's attention to return her team back to a regular size.
Tree shakes Book's team out of his head and Two brings the team back to normal size. After the challenge is announced, Book comes up with the idea to slay an actual dragon and serve it to Two. On their way to the dragon, the team is accompanied by a song that forces them to do unnecessary and dangerous tasks. Eventually, the team reaches the dragon and Bomby succeeds at helping it by removing a chocolate ball from it's throat. The team decides they can serve Cake's remains, topped off with a chocolate ball. The team gets a 3/10 and is safe, despite the low score. In the stinger, Book gets zapped by X.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Book's team decides to trade items with the other teams, hoping to end up with what they need to fix the rollercoaster. First they trade a block for wires from The Strongest Team on Earth. Just Not then ends up at the Balance Beam, where they offer to trade the wires for Team8s' broken mirror. They leave behind the broken mirror for The S! and take their glass panel.
They end up at the World's Largest Oven, where they trade the glass panel to Death P.A.C.T. Again for Tree's decapitated body. They arrive at the canal to trade Tree's dead body to Teardrop in exchange for the Dream Island gates. Lastly, Just Not ends up with the "missing rollercoaster piece" after trading away the gates to Are You Okay. Due to it being rigged by Puffball and Golf Ball, it explodes and absolutely destroys the rollercoaster, leading to Just Not being up for elimination. Later on in the stinger, she is set on fire by Robot Flower.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Book is glued shut after Two declares that she is safe. During Cake's speech, she is seen smiling a bit, only for her face to quickly turn to horror and surprise after Two crushes him. Book comments that she feels bad for Rocky after he gets eliminated because it's the third time, commenting that "at least it's been such a long time since Rocky got eliminated in BFDIA!", referring to his elimination in BFDIA 7.
After Nickel says that's it's awesome that Rocky got out, Just Not high-fives, with Book high-fiving Bomby. During the challenge, she says that she's a "balancing guidebook" before saying that she can't be used for research because she's glued shut. After Pillow falls off she tells her team that's there's only four of them left.

After she hits off Bomby, Book grabs onto Needle's legs to try and prevent her from knocking any more of her team members off. Needle smacks her off by slamming her into the balance beam, sending her flying off where she ends off hitting Pin and knocking her down with her. She apologizes to her for hitting her off.
In "Outbreak At Stake", after Two's voice cuts out what the challenge is, leading Pillow to believe that the challenge is to kill her team members, Book and Nickel begin backing away from her when she approaches. Later, she questions whether the challenge actually was to kill each other or not, pointing out that the reception was bad. The lights flicker and, when they come back on, Book is all alone. She carefully looks around for her teammates, getting scared by a Gelatin's Steakhouse sign with a speaker in it. Nickel spots her and calls her in to hide with him in a bunch of trash.
After Pillow kills Nickel, she goes for Book, saying that her glue could be used as armor. She backs away from her, but gets caught in a corner and killed. Parts of her cover, with the glue, can be spotted on Pillow later.
In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", during the intro, she and the rest of her team are recovered by Marker. Later, during Cake at Stake, Pillow questions how her team along with Teardrop both lost despite her theory of death bringing good luck, which Book recommends that she researches other ways of bringing good luck, suggesting doing a good deed, which Pillow reluctantly complies. After which, Pillow is announced safe, and Book comments about how doing a good deed might've worked, making Pillow vomit stuffing onto her and pass out in distaste, to which Book sympathetically attaches her Cake at Stake prize, a Moon shard, to the roof of the hotel.
After Book is announced safe, she attaches her Moon shard to the roof as well. When Nickel is eliminated, Pillow dismisses the situation, making Book scold her. For the challenge, Book is put to sleep by Two and is given a nightmare about being alone, which is drawn in the style of the early episodes of Battle for BFB, and she is trapped inside of a jawbreaker. When Bomby states that everything is from before Price Tag joined, Book assumes that her dream is about facing Taco and the rest of her past. The rest of her team do not know she's there, which she continually tries to get their attention.
Eventually, during her attempts to escape the jawbreaker, Price Tag notices that the jawbreaker is moving and questions if it's Book. Pillow instructs everyone to start licking the jawbreaker, as it's her next experiment, which frees Book. Once she's out of the jawbreaker, she questions where various members of her old team were, before realizing that she's all alone through Pillow's confirmation.
She begins to walk away, but Pillow runs up to her and licks the side of her face to be sure if it's the solution to good luck, making Book annoyed with her, and she walks away with more anger. Later, Book is seen sitting by herself at a bench, and after Just Not is announced as up for elimination, Pillow makes Price Tag talk to her. The two have a short discussion, and Book confides in them about her past, which Price Tag doesn't understand the situation but comforts her by talking about the things they've done in the present, and the two agree to become better friends. After Book wakes up, the two run off together to play Goiky's Dragons.
In "What's Up Bell's String?," Book and Price Tag are standing idly by next to Bomby when suddenly, his fuse ignites and explodes, launching Book and Price Tag into the air. They safely land on Bell's string. Book sighs in relief before proceeding to ask what's up Bell's string. The two begin climbing, much to Bell's frustration, as she tries to shake them off. Despite this, Book and Price Tag remain unaffected and continue to climb until they reach a new location called Band Land. Just then, Two appears and initiates the next Cake at Stake, where Book is the first safe with 18,526 votes. She leaves via Bell's string, along with Price Tag who is also safe. However, Bomby ends up getting eliminated.
Before he departs, Book and Price Tag hurriedly approach Two while screaming their name. When Two asks what is it, Book requests that they give Bomby a farewell before he leaves, but they can't find Bomby, or Bell, anywhere. Book inquires about Bomby and Bell's whereabouts, but Two admits they don't know. They call out their names but receive no response. Book tells Two that they've got to find Bomby. Two agrees that it's really odd but is confident that they'll find them eventually.

The team phase begins, and Book is placed onto a new team, which is eventually named Team 2. Book comments that they are on a strong team, and Snowball excludes Ice Cube by throwing her to the ground. Price Tag inquires Book about her past with Ice Cube, and Book immediately tells them to shut it. She then turns to Ice Cube and awkwardly asks her how she is. Ice Cube hesitates before turning to greet Eraser, Snowball, and Grassy.
During the challenge, Snowball mentions that he liked the idea of Four throwing X into the pit, so he suggests they do the same with Ice Cube. Book and Price Tag demand that he put her down, but in the midst of the argument, Pin swoops in and stabs Snowball with her point, causing him to release Ice Cube. She slips away, and the group goes after her, eventually finding her on the moon, where Book notices that Ice Cube has regained her legs.
Curious, Book asks about them, but before Ice Cube can respond, Grassy interrupts, pointing out some shiny rocks that could be useful for their pit. Working together, they start smashing the rocks to bring them back to their pit until they finally detach, causing the moon to shift significantly. They decide to bring the entire moon back to the pit and start pushing it in the same direction. Snowball wonders if a running start would help, so he attempts it but slips, crashing into Ice Cube and sending her spinning around the moon. This unexpected movement propels the moon forward rapidly. Book is initially glad that the moon is rolling and compliments Ice Cube for her efforts. However, the moon starts moving too quickly.
Later, as the moon continues to gain speed, Book warns them that if they don't slow it down, they'll never get it into their pit. However, the moon is eventually stopped thanks to David's soundwaves, landing conveniently in their pit. They all congratulate themselves for their efforts, however, moments later, the David is provoked again, causing the moon to move from their pit to Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again's pit. Despite this, Team 2 is declared safe.
In "Category One", Book is first seen with her team inside the hotel. Pencil joins the show, and when she notices Book and Ice Cube from a distance, she attempts to talk to them. They appear hesitant, remembering how Pencil had treated them in the past. However, before Pencil can finish her sentence, Two redirects her to her new team, cutting the interaction short.

Later, Book works with her team to grab the fish monster and transport it to the basement's sewer system. For the contest, her team is told to protect Two from the fish monster and other creatures now residing in the basement. Pencil pushes into Team 2 while they rush downstairs but grabs Book mid-air, asking if they could be in a "cross-team alliance". Ice Cube pulls Book away from her, however. Subsequently, Book awkwardly talks with Ice Cube about how Pencil was now back in the game and wonders if she's changed at all before she slips on the floor.
While Grassy and Eraser redirect some of the fish, Snowball orders Book and Price Tag to hold more of them off. The two fend off against the fish monster, inadvertently leading Ice Cube to fall into its mouth. The fish monster accidentally breaks a pipe which leads to more water filling up the room. Book and Price Tag are then ordered to collect more items to use against the fish. They run past Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again (who were currently fighting Robot Flower) and grab the zap shooter out of a desk drawer. Book explains to Price Tag that she was a bestiary, which informed her that fish are particularly vulnerable to being shot with lasers. Price Tag is puzzled that Book had to look something like that up but brushes it off. The two continue up another floor, where they grab an object with a plug and a chair, preparing for their next move in the challenge.
While the two attempt to carry their new items downstairs, a distorted Robot Flower rushes towards them and steals a wooden stake that Price Tag had found. They make it to the basement, where Book uses the plug and the chair to ward more fish off. The fish get distracted by the sounds of the fish monster from deeper into the sewers. Book runs upstairs and grabs the wooden stake, using it to patch the hole in the pipe from earlier. Although they were able to prevent the flood, Team 2 is put up for elimination due to CloudYAY throwing the fish monster into Two's room, costing them the challenge.
In "I SAID CAREFUL!!!", Book, Price Tag, and Ice Cube are working together to clear the debris caused by the storm in the previous episode. While doing so, a flyer hits Ice Cube in the face. Upon reading it, Ice Cube discovers it’s an advertisement from Pencil, who is still attempting to get her and Book to rejoin FreeSmart. Moments later, Pencil appears and enthusiastically tries to persuade them to join. However, her efforts are cut short when Price Tag, visibly annoyed, kicks her away.

Later, Book and Ice Cube continue clearing debris when Book spots a clubhouse in the distance, eerily reminiscent of the Clubhouse of Awesomeness. Curious, she considers investigating but is confused as to where it came from. Suddenly, the doors swings open, and two hands extend to grab Book and Ice Cube, pulling them inside, where they find Pencil once again. Book and Ice Cube appear visibly uneasy as Pencil passionately pitches her case. However, before she can finish her sentence, Price Tag bursts in, drags Book and Ice Cube out, and slams the door shut.
Finally, Book and Ice Cube are seen cleaning the windows when Book spots the CloudYAY Mega supervan approaching them. The van is in poor condition, emitting loud, unsettling noises. Book comments that it has clearly seen better days. Inside the van, Pencil speculates that Ruby stole her previous one, adding that she couldn’t afford a proper replacement because she had spent all her money on the new clubhouse.
Pencil exits the van, once again pleading with Book and Ice Cube to join FreeSmart. In a tantrum, she kicks and punches the van, but it unexpectedly catches fire. Panicking, Pencil kicks the burning van toward the hotel, where it explodes, causing significant damage. The commotion upsets Two, so they teleport all the contestants—along with the failed debuters—to an isolated location. Two instructs them to stay put while they deal with cleaning up the storm’s debris and now the added mess from the explosion.
While Two is absent, the failed debuters take over hosting the next Cake at Stake, where Book is announced safe at 20,781 votes. For the prize, Camera takes a photo of both Book and Snowball. While Book smiles in the photo, Snowball appears visibly angry, so to lighten the mood, Book uses Marker to draw a smile over Snowball's frown.
Later, it's revealed that Eraser, along with Gaty, are eliminated. While their friends grieve over their eliminations, Book notices the missing posters of past eliminated contestants and urges everyone to protect Eraser and Gaty to prevent them from being kidnapped as well. This sparks a fight among the group over who should protect whom. Fortunately, despite the tension, Eraser and Gaty remain safe and aren't kidnapped.
For the challenge, teams are tasked with grabbing a flag from the summit of either the mountain or the volcano. Team 2 heads towards the mountain and begins climbing, but they stop when they reach a cabin. Book and the rest of the team go inside to investigate and find Firey Jr., who has made the cabin his home after the storm blew him there.
Snowball orders the team to search the cabin for anything that could help them climb the mountain. Book and Price Tag rummage through the drawers and find a stash of food, which Book eagerly devours. Ice Cube discovers some skiing equipment that would be perfect for advancing in the challenge. Just as they are about to leave with the gear, the door suddenly swings open and is then blocked by heaps of snow. Behind the snow are members of , and a fight breaks out between the teams. When Pen pushes Snowball away, Book retaliates by shoving him back.

The two teams continue to fight in the cabin until Tennis Ball, realizing they’re stuck due to the avalanche, suggests a drastic solution: killing themselves and then getting recovered. Ice Cube questions who would recover them and why, leaving Tennis Ball unsure of how to respond. Ice Cube angrily accuses him of dooming them all. Another fight ensues, but Firey Jr. warns everyone to be careful. Amid the chaos, TV shoves Book, sending her crashing into Firey Jr., whose heat causes the floor beneath them to warm up. Suddenly, the floor gives way, and everyone falls into the pit below.
In the pit, the fight continues between and Team 2, escalating further when Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again arrives, bringing a huge pile of snow with them. Book, not backing down, throws a snowball at Liy and declares that the fight isn't over. Marker tries to intervene, stepping in between them to stop the fighting, but his pleas fall on deaf ears. The conflict quickly intensifies, and soon all three teams are hurling snowballs at each other.
As the teams scramble to find the flag, the urgency kicks in. Bottle tells her team to start searching, and they dive into the snow to look for it. Meanwhile, Snowball orders his team to stop them from succeeding. Amid the chaos, Grassy finds the flag, securing immunity for Team 2. However, the flag on the volcano is still up for grabs, and the competition intensifies as the teams refocus their efforts.
The teams notice CloudYAY nearing the flag, realizing that none of them would be able to reach it in time. Book voices her frustration about Pencil's antics, and the others share similar sentiments about other members of CloudYAY. Liy proposes a temporary alliance to sabotage the team, which everyone agrees to. Grassy pushes Snowball, causing him to merge with the snow, and the others jump on top of him. This sends them off a cliff, killing most of the contestants on impact. However, Book survives, and all the dead contestants, including CloudYAY members Pencil, Pillow, and Donut, are recovered.
Amidst the chaos of the clash between CloudYAY and the other teams, Snowball and Grassy break away, making a determined run toward the volcano. Noticing their departure, Book, Price Tag, and Ice Cube quickly follow in pursuit. When they reach the volcano, however, they all get zapped by Golf Ball's laser shooter, killing them. Despite the other teams' efforts to stop CloudYAY, they manage to secure the flag and immunity, leaving and Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again up for elimination. Team 2, however, is safe, meaning Book is safe for now.
In "Seasonal Shift", the challenge tasks teams with using fragments of the Yoylite to travel across the timeline and retrieve all the failed debuters. Book and the rest of Team 2 are sent to March 1st, 2014, during the events of "Taste the Sweetness". They teleport just outside the bustling ice cream store where Pencil is enthusiastically advertising ice cream to a large crowd.
Initially, everything seems normal, but Book quickly notices something unusual about the door. Moments later, Shopping Cart emerges, looking disoriented and muttering about how to escape. In her flustered state, she gets one of her wheels stuck in a nearby poster. While struggling to free herself, she accidentally bumps into a tree, causing a cascade of recommended characters to topple over.
The sudden commotion sends the crowd into a frenzy, their panicked screams irritating Pencil. Unsure how to calm the situation, the team brainstorms until Grassy takes the initiative. He quietly enters the store, grabs some ice cream, and offers it to one of the recommended characters. The sweet treat instantly soothes them, and the crowd quickly regains its composure. Book praises Grassy for his quick thinking and resourcefulness. With the situation under control, the team uses their Yoylite fragment to return to the present, bringing Shopping Cart along as their recovered debuter.

When Team 2 teleports back to the present with Shopping Cart, they narrowly avoid crushing Puffball Speaker Box, who dodges just in time. Puffball Speaker Box scolds them for their recklessness but acknowledges their success in rescuing Shopping Cart. She then redirects the team to October 3rd, 2008, during the Crying Contest in "Total Firey Island".
Upon arrival, the group surveys the area but quickly notices something alarming: Firey has vanished. As they investigate the disappearance, they spot Income Tax Return Document fleeing the scene with Firey in his grasp. Without hesitation, Book and the others give chase.
Meanwhile, the contestants competing in the Crying Contest are confined inside a large glass box, tearfully trying to outcry one another. Price Tag becomes momentarily distracted, contemplating taking the glass box home as a valuable collectible. Book, unimpressed, doubles back to retrieve Price Tag before returning to the pursuit. Unfortunately, the delay allows Income Tax Return Document to slip out of sight.
As the group regroups to strategize, Income Tax Return Document suddenly leaps into the glass box with the other contestants, further escalating the chaos. When confronted, he smugly refuses to disclose Firey’s location. Book and Ice Cube look up at the competition’s logo and are horrified to see it altered to read “Total Income Tax Return Document Island". The team quickly realizes that Income Tax Return Document's interference has caused significant damage to the timeline.
The group swiftly pulls Income Tax Return Document out of the glass box, intending to return him to his original timeline. However, as they prepare to leave, the ground suddenly trembles. They realize that removing Income Tax Return Document from this point in the timeline would destabilize everything. Frustrated but resigned, the group leaves him behind and focuses on finding Firey to restore balance.
As they search the area, Price Tag suddenly gets an idea and teleports back to the present using the Yoylite. Book, momentarily frozen by flashbacks of abandonment, fears that Price Tag may have deserted her. However, Price Tag reappears moments later. Book exhales in relief, admitting that they scared her. Price Tag apologizes and announces that they’ve located Firey. Income Tax Return Document overhears this and, alarmed, questions how they accomplished it. Ignoring his protests, the group quickly heads toward Firey’s location, with Income Tax Return Document chasing after them.

As they move, Income Tax Return Document angrily laments being left on the sidelines and pleads for a chance to participate in the competition. Book, visibly exasperated, tells him that he can’t interfere with the timeline like this. Finally, the group finds Firey hidden under a food cloche. They sigh in collective relief, but Income Tax Return Document begs them to reconsider.
Determined to resolve the situation, the group uses the cloche to kill Income Tax Return Document, silencing him for good. With Firey safely in their possession, the group quickly returns him to the rest of the contestants, restoring stability to the timeline. Satisfied, they teleport back to the present, this time bringing the subdued Income Tax Return Document along with them.
Upon arrival, Ten informs the team that has successfully rescued two debuters and is on track to save a third. The group confidently asks Ten for their location, certain they can beat them to it. Ten reveals that
has traveled back to March 1, 2011, during the events of "Vomitaco", so Team 2 follow suit. When Team 2 arrives, they see Leek climbing up a massive barf bag, with the Season 1 contestants competing inside. The rest of
follow Leek up the barf bag, where a large hole is visible, releasing streams of vomit. Book observes the situation and tells the team it’s pointless to follow, reasoning that their chances of catching up to Leek before
are slim. Snowball proposes an alternative plan and uses Price Tag to cut through the bag, causing a massive flood of vomit to spill out.
Bottle notices their intent and quickly reacts. She and Tennis Ball leap down, with Bottle kicking Tennis Ball toward Team 2, knocking them all over. As they recover and give chase, Snowball hurls Tennis Ball at Bottle, causing her to spill the vomit she was holding inside. The resulting mess causes Team 2 to slip and lose control, sending them drifting away. With no one left to oppose them, successfully teleports back to the present with Leek in tow. Defeated and empty-handed, Team 2 reluctantly returns to the present as well.
The group arrives and briefly reflects on their loss, but their attention is soon drawn to a massive crack in the sky. Tree is perplexed by the worsening crack despite his team's efforts to repair the timeline, so he turns to Team 2 and , demanding answers. He asks if either of them caused the instability, but both teams deny any involvement.
As tensions rise, TV alerts the contestants that CloudYAY have accidentally time-traveled back to BFDI 25. Furious at the setback, the teams scramble to prepare for intervention, knowing this may be their final chance to save the timeline. However, before they can act, the Yoylites across all teams suddenly begin to levitate ominously. Moments later, they drop lifelessly to the ground. The contestants stare at the now-useless fragments, as they realise that the Yoylites have lost their power, effectively trapping CloudYAY in their current timeline and leaving everyone else helpless to intervene.
The contestants watch anxiously as CloudYAY navigates the area, clinging to the hope that they won’t cause further damage to the timeline. However, their worst fears come true when Leafy is allowed onto Dream Island, the final blow that seals the timeline's doom. The contestants look up at the crack in the sky, now larger than ever, its ominous presence signaling the imminent collapse of everything they know.
Realizing the end is near, everyone braces for their final moments. Book and Price Tag share a tight, desperate hug, soon joined by a terrified Ice Cube. Around them, contestants exchange one last heartfelt connection with their friends, steeling themselves for what they believe will be their permanent demise.

♡
Just as all seems lost, the timeline unexpectedly snaps back into place, restored by a deal One made with Gaty. Two reappears, and the members of CloudYAY are returned to their original timeline. Although the crack in the sky still lingers, it is now significantly smaller and more stable.
As the dust settles, Four and X announce the results of the challenge. Team 2 and Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again are revealed to have retrieved the fewest failed debuters, placing them at risk. Book, along with the rest of Team 2, find themselves vulnerable and is subsequently put up for elimination.
In "The Power of Four", Book first appears during her teams elimination alongside Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again. After Price Tag is declared safe, Book notes how their cake was "stale". Book is then greeted by X, which leads her to believe she was safe, although X had simply been saying hi to her. Book is in the bottom two along with Ice Cube, but manages to stay in the game with 22,453 votes compared to Ice Cube's 16,403. Ice Cube thanks her for giving her some space, and realized how during the end of the previous episode she had realized how much she wanted their friendship back. The two hug before Ice Cube is sent to the elimination area.
Book reads the map that she and the rest of Team 2 were given by Four and X. The team is called over by Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again, who had claimed to have found a good hiding spot. Both teams arrive in a nearby forest. Snowball throws Book, along with Price Tag and Grassy, into one of the trees, and orders them to start climbing. Book feels uncertain about how well the tree they chose could hide them, as it was noticably less covered than any of the other nearby trees. X later appears at the bottom of their tree, and Snowball orders the team to stand on top of him. Snowball later throws Book in order to maintain his balance on the top of the tree.
Books falls directly into the recovery center slot. Price Tag lands nearby, and Book tells them about the new strategy she could use. However, Pillow overhears this, and kills Price Tag and recovers them to get Book outside of the recovery center. Four then appears and tags both Book and Price Tag out. Later, Book and Price Tag walk and talk about Bottle's hiding skill, when Yellow Face suddenly picks Price Tag up to do more work with their new business.

Book is approached by Winner, who talks to her about how they felt "replaced" with how Yellow Face had now been spending much more time with Price Tag. Book talks to them about how she had felt the same in the past, and that they weren't being replaced and they just wanted to do their own thing. Winner thinks about how Loser had abandoned him prior to the competition, but Book uses this to assure them that there was always more people around, and asks if they would want to play Goiky & Dragons with her. Pillow appears and startles Book, also wanting to play. By the end of the challenge, Grassy remained untagged by neither Four or X (with the other three members being split between them), meaning that Book is safe from elimination.
In "Bottle For Dream Island", Book, Fanny, Pencil, and Tennis Ball compete in a fourse-riding challenge where they must stay on the Fourse for as long as possible to earn points for their respective teams. Tennis Ball is the first to fall, leaving the other three to continue. Fanny voices her frustration and tells Book and Pencil to just fall off already, while Book and Pencil argue. Book accuses Pencil of being selfish and unchanged, rejecting Pencil’s offer to rejoin her alliance. Their fight escalates until Book says she hates Pencil.
Eventually, only Book and Pencil remain. Book explains that Pencil doesn't respect her space or growth, while Pencil confesses she’s clinging to Book because everyone else she cares about is gone. Pencil admits she feels isolated without her old friends and wants things to return to the way they were, but Book rejects the idea before clarifing that she never wanted to rekindle their friendship, she just wanted an alliance so she could get further in the game. Hearing this, Pencil throws Book off the Fourse, disqualifying her from the challenge.
