This page is about the relationships between Book and other characters.
Book is generally really nice and caring towards the other characters, especially the ones who can't speak up for themselves. She usually gets along with anyone as long as they aren't rude or tell jokes about her. She's recently been shown to hold grudges and isn't forgiving to contestants she considers traitorous, after the trauma from being in a team that's known to throw others under the bus. However, she has learned from her mistakes and is slowly trying to make up with others, and has made a few new friends in TPOT.
Announcer[]
In "Reveal Novum", the Announcer disagrees with Book's self-definition, which states that she'll win Dream Island.
In "The Four is Lava", in Book's happy thought, the Announcer agrees with Book's self-definition and gives her Dream Island.
Basketball[]
In "Four Goes Too Far", Basketball tells that the team losing will be theirs or A Better Name Than That. Book replies, guessing that the twinkle could return to earth.
In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", Basketball reveals to Book that the device she's dipping her nachos into is a communicator dish.
Black Hole[]
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", an unseen entry in Book's dictionary section says that she thinks Black Hole sucks, "literally". She also remarks that he is a pushover.
Blocky[]
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Book's definition of Blocky says that he thinks he's funny even though he relies too hard on slapstick. It also says that no one likes his show either.
Bomby[]
In "Well Rested", Bomby and Nickel attempt to prank Book by making it look like Nickel has arms, but Book can tell that they're Bomby's arms. She's still delighted by their prank.
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Book is happy to be on the same team as Bomby. She claims they go way back and asks him if he remembers all the days they spent cranking the HPHPRCC.
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Book and Bomby accidentally bump blocks when they try stacking at the same time. She apologizes, when Bomby suddenly screams and scares her, insisting that he can stack on his own. Right before the challenge ends, Book helps Bomby stack again, making their team safe.
In "Fishes and Dishes", Book recovers Bomby after Pillow blew him up.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", when the team have nothing to offer for Two's dinner, Bomby says that they have Cake's dead remains and can use it for Two's dinner, Book adds on that they have a chocolate ball to cover on top of Two's dessert.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", she high fives Bomby after Rocky's elimination.
Bracelety[]
In "Today's Very Special Episode", Book corrects Bracelety by saying that what she said about Ice Cube being safe did not make sense as Ice Cube is on Bleh.
Bubble[]
Despite being on the same team together in BFDIA, Book and Bubble rarely have any one on one interactions.
In "Get in the Van", Bubble is the first to greet Book and Ice Cube when they arrive to the party.
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Book tries to warn Bubble and Ruby about the side effects of eating Yoyleberries, but they don't care. Later, Bubble says that Book's plan to kill Pencil sounds good.
In "Catch These Hands", when Pencil brings Bubble back to life, Book cheers with Ruby and Ice Cube, hugging the contraption with them. She looks upset when it's announced that "Bubble" was the wrong answer and both Pencil and Bubble get killed.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", after Bubble is brought back by Pencil, Book cheers with the rest of FreeSmart. When Needle is about to slap her for calling her "Needy", Book restrains her with the rest of FreeSmart, suggesting that they stick together. When Bubble inflates herself with the helium, Book hangs off of one of her feet with the other FreeSmarters, cheering with them too. Later, when FreeSmart is inside of the ship, Book and Bubble hold onto each other as they back away from Evil Leafy. Book rushes Bubble into the trap door with the rest of the FreeSmarters. After Book returns from the ship, Bubble hugs her with the rest of FreeSmart. When Book tells Pin that it's now their chance to sing, Bubble agrees, saying that "rules are rules". At the end of the challenge, when Book is unsure of what to sing, Bubble suggests singing Spongy Cake.
In "Welcome Back", in response to Pencil falling and Bubble popping, Book says "Oh great, not again." Later, Book and Pencil recover Bubble.
Cake[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Book watched Cake and Pie play tic-tac-toe.
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Book, Cake, and Nickel discuss the whereabouts of their missing teammates.
In "Gardening Zero", Cake tells Nickel that he can play Chess with him after Pillow, but Book says that she thought she was next in line. Later, in the desert, Book corrects Cake by telling him that the truck piece is a FreeSmart Supervan. After they've lost the challenge, Book tells Cake not to blame himself as they should've warned him about the Yellow Face skeleton being cursed.
In "Fishes and Dishes", after Book recovers Bomby, she turns to Cake and asks what they were saying about their strategy. Later, Cake tells Book to define gravity. Book opens up her pages to show the definition.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", when the team is playing their game, Book presents Cake as their wizard. When Book proposes that they slay a dragon and serve it to Two, Cake says there aren't any dragons until he remembers the one they ran into last episode.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Book is shocked when Two accidentally kills him.
Coiny[]
In "Get Digging", Book stops Coiny from taking Teardrop to W.O.A.H. Bunch, saying that Teardrop will only switch if she wants to switch. When Coiny gets her to switch anyway, Book complains to Fries that she can't believe they just did that.
In "No More Snow!", Book informs Coiny that the HPRC got crushed.
In "It's a Monster", Book helps Coiny understand the implications of the HPHPRCC's self-destruction.
In "Well Rested", when Book turns into Yoyle Metal, Coiny says they're matching. Book thinks he's Nickel but realizes that Nickel doesn't have arms. Coiny says he's not Nickel and that he had some yoyleberries. Later, Book and Coiny fight each other on the dehumidifier pipe.
In "Lots of Mud", while FreeSmart are attempting to rip off one of Flower's petals, Coiny walks in with the key to the lock of the petal, and Book exclaims, urging her team to get it from him. While fighting with Pencil, he opens up Book and starts writing in her with Pencil, dulling her. Book is offended by this, and tackles him to the floor, and begins physically fighting with him. Soon, Ice Cube tells them that violence isn't the answer, and Book agrees with her, stating the answer is "unfurl", which confuses Coiny. She then unfurls Coiny's fingers from the key, grabbing it and unlocking Flower's last petal, but Coiny pushes her to the side and takes it, and his team is announced safe. Coiny then insults Book, calling it "unfurling Book's brain", which makes her stammer and then go quiet in defeat.
In "Welcome Back", Book lifts Coiny during her explanation of recommending characters. However, this may not be canon.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Book's tells Ice Cube that it's no longer BFDIA is overheard by Coiny, and he shouts from the background that he knows that. it Coiny then runs away, declining to talk further. This annoys Book as Coiny interrupted her while she was talking.
David[]
In "Reveal Novum", Book's definition for David calls him a "dumb stick figure".
Donut[]
In "Four Goes Too Far", Book asks Donut how the twinkle relates to the contest.
Dora[]
In "Reveal Novum", Book's definition for Dora calls her "a weird squeaking blob of flesh" and "hideous".
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", Dora attempts to stop Book and Ruby from passing onto the next island because they didn't eat an island. Book is relieved when she allows them to pass.
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Book says Dora should be on her team so she can better understand her.
In "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", Book agrees with Gaty about having Dora run up the stairs.
In "The Four is Lava", after Dora is eliminated, Book says it's a shame they can't study her anymore.
Eraser[]
In "Reveal Novum", Book's definition for Eraser saying that he thought Pink being manly and he can experiences extreme pain.
In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", Eraser snatches the "BFDI Game Rules" from Book.
Evil Leafy[]
In "Reveal Novum", Book's definition for Evil Leafy calls her a Leafy wannabee and a loser.
In "Get Digging", Book, Ice Cube, and Spongy flee from Evil Leafy after they are knocked off Puffball.
In "Get in the Van", she is devoured by Evil Leafy.
In "No More Snow!", Book and Ruby escape Evil Leafy, but then immediately has to run away from her. Book cuts the rope, crushing Evil Leafy, Puffball, and Fries.
In "Well Rested", Book encounters Evil Leafy for the fourth time, as she attempts to attack them on the dehumidifier pipe.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", Book asks who Bottle is referring to after she says that a "certain someone doesn't like trespassers", with that being Evil Leafy. Bottle says that it's a silly question, not answering her, and Book looks nervous. Later, on Donut's island, when Book and Ruby are moping about being in last place, Evil Leafy appears and chases them around. She continues chasing Book after Ruby points out the pipe Needle and Pencil moved for them to get up, and they're able to escape Evil Leafy. Later, inside the ship, Evil Leafy returns, and Book opens the trapdoor with Needle, saving Pencil from Evil Leafy by hitting Evil Leafy away with the door, and ushering all of FreeSmart inside. When she tries to get in herself, Evil Leafy spawns on top of the trap door, closing it and keeping her out. She corners Book as she tries to pull off a loose piece of wood from the wall, and the scene cuts to black. After Book returns from the water, Evil Leafy (A.K.A just Leafy)'s silhouette can be seen while she's still underwater.
Firey[]
In "Reveal Novum", Book's definition for Firey thinks that his name spells Fiery.
In "Get Digging", Golf Ball discusses the means of getting Yoyleberries with Firey and Book.
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Firey tells Book that she must not be very well-read. Book takes offense to this and injects Firey with Freeze Juice.
In "Welcome Back", Book mentions while walking to the HPRC with Pencil that "we've gotten Firey punished, and all."
Firey Speaker Box[]
In "Get in the Van", when Firey Speaker Box asks "Got it?", Book responds "Yup!"
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Book argues with the Firey Speaker about whether or not they are at the summit.
In "Well Rested", Firey Speaker Box tells Book, Nickel, and Bomby to stop being so wholesome as they're falling behind schedule. Later, he asks if they can spin the challenge wheel. Book says yes and spins it. The challenge is to find a building to sleep in. Book asks what that's supposed to mean. Firey Speaker Box explains that since they will be staying in Yoyleland long term, the contestants will need bedrooms to sleep in.
In "Meaty", Book is upset at Firey Speaker Box for the new Cake at Stake intro. Book also initially seems upset when she later asks Firey Speaker Box if the cakes they recieved were the same ones as the last episode, though calms down when she realises that's a good thing. After the elimination, Book asks Firey Speaker Box what the next challenge is, asking him what's wrong when he starts crying. She doubts he'll be able to host the rest of BFDIA in this state.
Flower[]
In "Lots of Mud", Flower insults the contestants' clothing brands, which makes Book confront her angrily. She insults Flower, telling her that Earth-Water Outerwear, presumably her brand, is a commendable book binding company. Flower denies this and immediately rips her cover off and replaces it with a pink and magenta one from her brand, telling her to keep it so she doesn't look "so hideous." She then tells her that she's helping Book, stating that the challenge is a beauty contest. Later, during the challenge, Book convinces Flower to let her team makeover her, by disclosing that she's a fashion magazine and showcasing various looks to Flower. For one of the looks, Book and Pencil continuously put star stickers on her face. And for another, they strap a Basket to her head, and Book tells her that it's ahead of her time. Later, when Ruby attaches Jack Frew's hair to Flower's head, she asks the team if she looks beautiful. Book and the rest of her team nervously tell her that she does, seemingly lying. Later, she's seen attempting to saw off a petal from Flower's head, with Flower looking irritated at this.
Four[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Book asks what it is that Four can do after Dora "talked' to him. She also calls Four an "it" when choosing Dora for her team, saying she wants to know how Dora was able to communicate with "it" so well. When Four asks if the eight teams are all set, Book, Teardrop, and Saw try to tell Four that their team isn't because of the name they got stuck with.
In "Fortunate Ben", Book asks Four where X went.
Fries[]
In "Reveal Novum", Book's definition for Fries refers to him that he eating and seeing his fries.
In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", when Book makes it into BFDIA, Fries backs away, telling her that he can't stand her cover. The two participate in a slap fight and attempt but fail to eat bits of each other.
In "Get Digging", When Coiny gets Teardrop to switch to W.O.A.H. Bunch, Book complains to Fries that she can't believe they just did that. Fries tells Book that Teardrop was never much of a leader anyway.
In "No More Snow!", Book cuts a rope, which causes Fries, along with Puffball and Evil Leafy, to get crushed to death.
In "Fishes and Dishes", Book's team gets attacked by Fries and Puffball.
Gaty[]

Gelatin[]
In "Get Digging", Golf Ball sends Spongy, Gelatin, Book, Needle, and Ice Cube to ride Puffball to Yoyleland. On the trip, Gelatin knocks Book, Ice Cube, and Spongy off because he thinks there's not enough room.
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Book and Gelatin have a friendly chat about how Pin will never shake them off of the Eiffel Tower. Gelatin tells Book that Pin must not be very well-read, which offends Book. She injects him with freeze juice.
In "Intruder Alert", Book is the only one who wants Gelatin to join FreeSmart because they are both green. However, at the end of the challenge, Book seems to realise their ruse.
In "Meaty", when Ruby tries kicking Gelatin and Firey out (literally), Book protects them, saying they still have to include them. At the start of the challenge, Book asks Gelatin if he's still on their team, happy to hear he still is. Though, when he suggests he's still there only to get the Yoylite, Book supposes that she'll be inclusive for just a bit longer.
Golf Ball[]
In "Reveal Novum", Book's definition for Golf Ball refers to her as an "ugly menace" with male-ish voice and 336 dimples.
In "Get Digging", Golf Ball discusses the means of getting Yoyleberries with Firey and Book. Golf Ball sends Spongy, Gelatin, Book, Needle, and Ice Cube to ride Puffball to Yoyleland. Book and Ice Cube return empty-handed, reporting that Evil Leafy chased them.
In "Get in the Van", Book tells Golf Ball that she and Ice Cube don't promise to stay on her team.
In "No More Snow!", Book considers rescuing Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, and Rocky despite them being on a different team.
In "Four Goes Too Far", Golf Ball asks Book if anyone will pick them up from the moon, Book thinks about her question.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Book throws her team's board game at Golf Ball to get her attention so that she can bring them back to normal size.

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3" and "Get in the Van", Puffball asks Book to spin the wheel for her since she doesn't have arms.
In "No More Snow!", Book cuts the rope, crushing Evil Leafy, Puffball, and Fries.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", Puffball says that she doesn't have all day as Book and Ruby (+ Bubble) think about what to sing for their lullaby. She seems to like their autotuned version of Pin's song, and allows the three of them to pass.
In "Fishes and Dishes", Book's team gets attacked by Puffball and Fries. Book asks Pillow to take care of Puffball when she attacks Nickel.
Rocky[]
In "No More Snow!", Book considers rescuing Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, and Rocky despite them being on a different team.
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", when Pencil kills Rocky because of him vomiting on her, Book says that happened two years ago.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Book initially feels bad for Rocky after he is eliminated for the third time, but she is swayed by Nickel and celebrates his elimination with the rest of her team.

Saw[]
In "Four Goes Too Far", Book, Saw, and Lollipop talk about outer space.
In "Questions Answered", Book consoles Saw when she isn't able to answer the questions correctly.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Book develops a grudge against Saw for abandoning her team for several episodes.
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Book asks Saw, along with Gaty, if she can join them.
In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", Book mentions Saw as one of the people she wanted to make up with during her nightmare.
Singing Narrator[]
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", when Singing Narrator insists that Just Not climb the mountain, Book reluctantly decides that they should as it says. However, Book gets really angry with the voice when it tells them to take the scary slide.
Snowball[]
In "What's Up Bell's String?", Snowball was seen shoving Book in her face in their team portrait. During the challenge, Snowball suggests throwing Ice Cube down the pit, Book and Price Tag berate him and tell him to let go of her. Before Pin hits Snowball, the two can be seen arguing. When Snowball questions Ice Cube's usefulness, Book gives him an offended look.
Spongy[]
In "Get Digging", Golf Ball sends Spongy, Gelatin, Book, Needle, and Ice Cube to ride Puffball to Yoyleland. On the trip, Gelatin throws Book, Ice Cube, and Spongy off. The three of them must flee from Evil Leafy. Spongy falls into Evil Canyon, but Book pulls him out at the last moment. When Book and Ice Cube return safely, Book informs everyone that Evil Leafy captured Spongy.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", Book has an "Eliminate Spongy" remote which she uses to kill the bugs that are hosting. It's shown that Spongy was out on vacation, and that the remote Book uses flings him away as if he were being eliminated again. She cheers with Ruby and Needle once Spongy crushes the bugs.
Taco[]

Teardrop[]
In "Get Digging", Book stops Coiny from taking Teardrop to W.O.A.H. Bunch, saying that Teardrop will only switch if she wants to switch. Tennis Ball[]
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Tennis Ball is surprised to hear that Book doesn't know what they're battling for. Tennis Ball tells her all about Dream Island, but then makes a comment about how she's "well read". She injects him with freeze juice.
In "No More Snow!", Book considers rescuing Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, and Rocky despite them being on a different team.
Tree[]
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", when Book asks herself if she'll have to get use to Pillow's behavior, Tree casually replies "Yeah, pretty much", frightening Book as she falls and knocks down her team's stack.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Book says that she loves dead bodies, and accepts Fanny's trade offer for Tree's dead body.
Two[]
In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Two seems disgusted with Just Not's pile of garbage as an attraction. Book tries to entice Two by presenting it on a table, to which Two is still unimpressed.
Woody[]
Despite no interactions with both of them, in "Welcome Back", Book gets shocked when Woody is burning in pain.
X[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", Book tells X that it's okay if he can't host.
In "X Marks the Spot", Book gasps when the Four-Colored Team lassos X away.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Book gets zapped by X.
Everyone[]
In "Well Rested", Book is the first out of both FreeSmart and W.O.A.H. Bunch to realize that they shouldn't be fighting, since the challenge was to fall asleep.
In "The Escape from Four", Book helps with pulling the eliminated contestants out of Four.

In "Get Digging", numerous clones of Book laugh at W.O.A.H. Bunch as they walk to Cake at Stake.
In "Well Rested", when the W.O.A.H. Bunch members shout at FreeSmart for crashing their building, Book calls them out for putting "the worst headphones ever" on Ice Cube.
FreeSmart[]
In "It's a Monster", when the team is forced to hold their breath in the Goiky Canal, Book does her part by recovering the contestants who lose their breath and die.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", once Bubble is brought back and FreeSmart is "together again", they all hug. They also hug several more times in the episode, including in the beginning when the pairs were being selected and Ruby thought FreeSmart would be able to stick together as the full team.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Book states that she and Ice Cube were neglected and mocked by her old team, referring to FreeSmart.
In "Don't Dig Straight Down", she says that she never wants to associate with FreeSmart ever again.
A Better Name Than That[]
In "Four Goes Too Far", she and the rest of her team face off against A Better Name Than That on the moon waiting for the contest to end with the Twinkle making one of their teams lose. Though she does try to convince them that it could return to Earth.
Bleh[]
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", she starts to get grudges with everyone on the team, except for Teardrop and Dora.
Just Not[]
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", when Cake and Nickel point out that Pillow, Price Tag, and Naily have been missing for a long time, with unexplained reasons, Book tries to defend them, having learned not to jump to assumptions from her experience with Taco.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Book comes up with the idea to slay the dragon and serve it to Two. She later asks if anyone noticed a chocolate ball rolling into the forest. When they reach the dragon, Book says that they can do this since they've been training.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", after Pillow makes Just Not hang below the Balance beam and Pillow falls into the water and Book exclaims that she doomed them all, she tells her team to hold on tight.
In "Outbreak At Stake", Book tells her team that while reception was bad, the challenge can't possibly be killing each other, but then the light flickers and she's left alone. Book tells them that they can talk about it and figure something out.

Companion Cube (inanimate)[]
In "BFDIA 5b", Book spends some time with an inanimate Companion Cube. They share a sad goodbye.
Lego Brick[]

In "BFDIA 5b", when Book encounters Lego Brick, she calls his appearance horrific. Then, Lego Brick offers to be friends. In the next room, Book needs him for something, which involves killing him and trapping him in a box, the former being a huge fear of his. As revenge, Lego Brick drops Book and Match into his underground factory. Later, Waffle explains Lego Brick's fear of dying to Book.
Tune[]
In "BFDIA 5b", Waffle introduces Book to Tune. Match interrupts Waffle, and Book tells her to be nice. Since the game is unfinished, and Tune barely appears and talks, Book and Tune's relationship with each other is unknown, because they haven't ever directly spoken to each other.
The Viewers[]
In "Welcome Back", Book addresses the viewers and tells them about recommending characters. However, this may not be canon.
Waffle[]
In "BFDIA 5b", Waffle greets Book and tells her the way out of Evil Leafy. Waffle also tells her things about Lego Brick and Tune. When they're heading out, Waffle tells Book, Match, and Ice Cube that they're always welcome back.
