Where are you, Bozo? You need punishment. You can't hide forever, Bozo!

Bozo is a character seen being chased by Unknown Shadow in "Welcome Back".

In the episode, Golf Ball has a flashback that has been triggered by a broken or cracked set of flower pots when she and Tennis Ball visit the abandoned Science Museum. The flashback shows this character feverishly sweating and running for cover behind one of the pots. Soon after, Unknown Shadow starts to beat the pot with a spiked club while saying things like, "Where are you, Bozo?" and "You need punishment." The flashback ends seconds before the pot breaks.

Following this, Golf Ball is seen sweating anxiously in the same pose as Bozo during the flashback. Golf Ball then says to Tennis Ball that they should get out of the museum, refusing to reveal further information.

Trivia[]

  • Bozo's asset is just a Golf Ball without dimples.
    • The dimples might possibly be made from the spikes on the club.
  • Bozo was alluded/foreshadowed to in "Well Rested", where Golf Ball's face falls flat after Fries calls her a "bozo brain, bossy bot".
  • In the .fla files for "Welcome Back", Bozo is internally referred to as "Golf Ball" and "GB", suggesting that Bozo and Golf Ball are indeed the same character.[1] However, this is most likely because Bozo's asset is an edited version of Golf Ball's, and also to save space in the files.
  • Bozo appears as a recommended character in "Airplanes in the Night Sky", recommended by StrawMenArgue. Likely as a reference to their appearance in "Welcome Back", they are shown being scared of two other recommended characters: Evil Blocky (recommended by David Animates) and Spiked Bat (recommended by Ethan2763).
