This article lists the interactions between Bubble and Firey.

Out of the 3 finalists in the first season, these two have interacted the least together. Despite this, they were good friends and were very neutral to each other.

Episodes suggesting a friendship[]

In "Bowling, Now with Explosions!", Firey defends Bubble by taking away 40 points from Blocky.

In "Return of the Hang Glider", Bubble, Match, and Pencil tell Firey to let them onto Dream Island, which he does.

In "Let's Raid The Warehouse", Firey tells Bubble that he enjoyed riding the train with her and her team.

Neutral interactions[]

In "Hurtful!", Bubble questions why Firey is making a cake when a clump of dirt would do just as well. Firey gets offended by this, asking what Coiny has done to them.

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 2", Bubble suggests to Firey that he should try burning the bugs. When he says that it won't work, she encourages him to just try. As a result, Firey fakes getting eaten, to which Bubble acts concerned.

In "Return of the Hang Glider", when Flower pops Bubble permanently, Firey gasps along with Blocky, Coiny, and Pen.

In "Questions Answered", Firey laughs at Bubble's answer.

In "Take the Tower", Bubble tries to trick Firey into thinking she's Flower, but he isn't fooled by her disguise.

In "Let's Raid The Warehouse", when Firey asks if Yellow Face would be at his warehouse to give them a tour, Bubble tells Firey that he won't because he's busy competing for TPOT.

Episodes suggesting a conflict[]

In "Rescission", Bubble is shot by Firey with an Emergency Button.

In "Gardening Hero", after Firey's spaceship is sold, Bubble zaps Firey with her laser, killing him.

In "Welcome Back", Bubble and the rest of the alliance had Firey "punished".

In "A Taste of Space", she helps her team with sinking Firey into the sun for insulting their team.

Non-canon[]

Pre-BFDI[]

In book 4 of Total Firey Island, Firey teases Woody by reminding him about time he punched his teddy bear and when you chickened out on the baby slide. Bubble stands up for Woody and tells Firey not to tell him that.

Trivia[]

Both characters are voiced by Michael Huang.
If Total Firey Island is counted as a season, both were placed in 9th place in different seasons.
Out of the 10 original Squishy Cherries, they are the two highest ranked members in BFDI.
They are two of the four original contestants who have never been put up for a vote to rejoin, with the other two being Ice Cube and Rocky.
They are two of the six BFDI/BFDIA contestants to never be sent to the TLC or LOL, with the other four being Gelatin, Bomby, Leafy, and Yellow Face.
Counting both votes to save and eliminate, Firey and Bubble are tied for being the first safe in Cake at Stakes, at nine instances each.
They are the second-to-highest ranking members of their pre-split teams in BFB (Iance and The Losers!).
Both have their own personal recovery centers.
Both have plushies.
