Battle for Dream Island Wiki

This article focuses on the interactions between Bubble and Ruby. At first, Bubble didn't want Ruby joining the alliance and Ruby didn't want Bubble to be revived. Over time they accepted each other and have been close friends ever since.

Episodes suggesting a friendship[]

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", after Pencil discredits the book, Bubble tells Ruby to come back and slaps her, which confuses Ruby until Bubble says that was an apology slap. Bubble then accepts Ruby in the alliance with a hug.

In "It's a Monster", Ruby recovers Bubble from the new HPRC. When Bubble says she's getting bored of driving through the desert, Ruby pulls out her mini-fridge filled with snowballs.

In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Ruby and Bubble eat a bunch of yoyleberries and turn to metal.

In "Welcome Back", Bubble has to explain to Ruby what a lens cap is. Later, they eat gumdrops together.

In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Ruby tells Bubble that it's so cool that she has her very own recovery center, Bubble says thanks. Ruby later tells Bubble that Flower is pretty beautiful.

In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Bubble forgives Ruby for trying to replace her in BFDIA 2.

In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Ruby refers to Bubble as the alliance, since she's the only other member left, when she brings up that they heard Grassy's orders. Bubble agrees that they did indeed hear Grassy. When Ruby attempts to dig by biting the ground, Bubble tells her that digging with shovels is faster then with teeth, Ruby decides Bubble is right. Ruby shows concern for Bubble when she is holding up Team Ice Cube's weight and leads her team to save her from Beep falling on her. She is shocked when Flower ends up popping Bubble after their efforts at saving her.

In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Ruby is mad at Flower for killing Bubble. She then says that Bubble's life is special.

In "X Marks the Spot", Bubble tells Ruby that she isn't sure if she likes her new team. Ruby tries comforting Bubble by saying she has her and that Teardrop won't say anything bad about her. Bubble then says she's nervous about Leafy. Ruby decides to call Leafy over so that they can work things out together, but Bubble stops her saying now's not the time. Bubble continues to worry, so Ruby tries comforting her again by saying that she is at least not on the same team as Blocky. Bubble is glad for that but then realizes how weird it is that they are both red and on separate teams.

When Bubble doesn't have any challenge ideas, Ruby tells she does, and explains about the time Pencil left her with the FreeSmart Van before her elimination. Later, when Bubble offers to go grab X, Ruby stops her, saying she's too fragile.

In "Take the Tower", when Ruby and Taco are fighting, Bubble eggs her on, chanting "Fight, fight, fight", along with Gelatin.

In "A Taste of Space", Bubble gives Ruby air when they are in space due to their alliance.

In "Let's Raid The Warehouse", Bubble tells Gelatin that after Ruby got eliminated, she started to feel lonely on their team.

In "Chapter Complete", Bubble compliments Ruby for her idea of using the FreeSmart SuperVan to follow Four and says she's so smart. Ruby happily replies that she knows and tells everyone to get on. As Four blasts the BRB off into space with everyone hanging onto it, a thrilled Ruby says that they're flying. Bubble tells her that this isn't a happy occasion, so Ruby repeats the same thing but in a terrified manner. Later, Bubble and Ruby join Flower in eating her grand cake prize and sit together while listening to Gelatin read his comic.

Neutral interactions[]

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", Ruby confesses that she was acting weird in BFDIA 2 because she thought if Bubble came back she'd be expelled from the alliance; she is okay with it when Match tells her that wouldn't happen.

In "No More Snow!", Ruby pops Bubble without noticing, as she jumps up onto the platform.

In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", when Bubble forgives Ruby for trying to replace her, Ruby responds with a confused "Uhh". Later Ruby determines that Bubble and Snowball are their actual selves after watching Bubble get popped by him.

Episodes suggesting a conflict[]

In "Get Digging", after Match gets the idea to bring Bubble back, Ruby starts to act strange, trying to encourage Match and Pencil not to bring Bubble back, after all, citing that they've been fine without Bubble and that Bubble can't even count to three, which was already proven wrong. Ruby justifies this by saying she's trying to save a friend from things she doesn't need.

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", upon being revived, Bubble immediately points to Ruby and asks "What's that? She's not in our alliance!" and kicks her into a glass box, supposedly confirming Ruby's concerns. Bubble states that they can't have four alliance members, citing Golf Ball's The Book of BFDI Tips and Tricks.

Trivia[]

  • They were the first two contestants to be announced safe in a BFB Cake at Stake.
  • They are the only members of the FreeSmart alliance who competed in BFB after the split.
    • This also made them the two highest ranking members of their alliance in BFB.
  • Out of the five females on the Have Cots, they were the only ones who didn’t reach the merge in BFB.
