Retired characters

This category belongs to any character who is classed as retired and no longer seen for any of the following reasons:

• The character has been killed off permanently. (Example: Flower Speaker Box has been killed by a ball and Firey Speaker Box was chopped up into seven pieces by Donut)

• The voice actor/actress of the character left BFDI or is unavailable. (Example: To Be Added)

• The character has been replaced by a newer character. (Example: To Be Added)
• The character violates YouTube's increasingly-strict Community Guidelines. (Example: Blood)
• The character was hacked up or destroyed and the character does not have any recoveries to still appear in episodes. (Example: Recommended characters)
• The character has been pushed out by the demand for character videos.
• The character is a one-time character
• The character passed away. (Example: Deadly)
• The character is disqualified. (Example: Nonexisty)

However, there are occasions where a retired character makes brief returns in some form or another.

• A retired character is mentioned (Example: Puffball Speaker Box was mentioned).
• A retired character remains on the photos (Example: To be added)
• A retired character makes a cameo appearance. (Example: Multiple characters are pictured in Get in the Van).

NOTE: To qualify as retired, a character must not make a direct appearance in an original BFDI video in at least five years since their last appearance(s). Mentions are not counted as appearances. In addition, characters that were never used in a video in the first place like Portable Music Player are ineligible for inclusion, as they were never in a position to be retired in the first place.
