David surrounded by his team
This page is about the relationships and interactions between David and the other characters.
David is usually anti-social and keeps to himself due to being a "human" and not being able to say too much. He seems to have opened up a little since he joined Beep as he has friends from this team and has been seen helping them in a few contests. After being trapped for years in the EXIT, he takes an active role in trying to escape.
Announcer[]
In "Vomitaco", the Announcer tells David that he got thirty-nine votes, despite him not being up for elimination.
When David joins the game in "Reveal Novum", the Announcer congratulates him. The Announcer also congratulates him when he places 2nd in the staring contest.
In "Rescission", David avoids the Announcer's cake which makes the Announcer cry acid on him.
In "Gardening Hero", the Announcer tells David to say something other than "Aw, seriously" to which David replies with "No!"
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 2", David is able to help the Announcer with the Cake at Stake by having himself cloned in the place of the dead contestants.
In "Return of the Hang Glider", David says his catchphrase when the Announcer reveals that he sold Dream Island.
Balloony[]
In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", David shouts "No!" when Balloony tells him to lick the jawbreakers.
In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", David says his catchphrase when Balloony talks about how nervous he is about Cake at Stake.
In "Today's Very Special Episode", David is disgusted by their team's cake which seems to really annoy Balloony.
Black Hole[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", David is sucked into Black Hole but survives due to his immunity.
Bracelety[]
In "Outbreak At Stake", when David says "Aw" as he climbs with Pencil and Bracelety, Bracelety interprets it as him being upset that they couldn't save Roboty.
In "Out Of The Blue", David spends most of the episode with Pencil and Bracelety. Pencil and Bracelety distract Four to ensure David isn't caught.
Bubble[]
In "Reveal Novum", David scares Bubble with his yelling and wins the staring contest.
Cloudy[]
In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", Cloudy gags when he learns that David is a man.
In "Fortunate Ben", Cloudy thanks David for piloting their team's paper plane.
In "This Episode is About Basketball", Cloudy tells David that he needs to throw balls into their team's basket because he and Woody are the only ones on the team with arms, which David apparently ignores.
Dora[]
David and Dora.
In "Get Digging", Dora says that she dislikes David and describes him as one of her two least favorite things, having tried to kill him plenty of times, although all of her attempts have failed thanks to the David Cloner.
Despite this, they co-exist in the EXIT.
In "What's Up Bell's String?" Dora uses David to break the hotel window.
Firey[]
In "Reveal Novum", he beats Firey in the staring contest by scaring him, which causes him to blink.
In "Rescission", he burns to ashes when he comes in contact with Firey in the unicycle race.
In "Return of the Hang Glider", David convinces Firey to let him onto Dream Island, with Firey not being to happy about it.
Four[]
In "Enter the Exit", when David is making a run for it, Four extends his arm, catches David, and sends him to EXIT.
In "Outbreak At Stake", David, Bracelety, and Pencil run as Four attempts to zap them for escaping the classroom.
In "Out Of The Blue", David is thrown onto Four's head, and later picks up Four and throws him away.
Gelatin[]
"Let's not pick David, he's human and that's just weird."
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Gelatin doesn't pick David for his team because he's human and he considers that "weird", David says his catchphrase in response.
Ice Cube[]

In "The Glistening", David (while turning into Steven) votes Ice Cube to be eliminated.
Leafy[]
In "Gardening Hero", Leafy (along with Firey) is happy that David got eliminated, claiming he was weird.
In "Return of the Hang Glider", David votes for Leafy to win Dream Island.
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Leafy chooses David join her team so that he can get her help.
In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", it is revealed that David has a score of 5 on Leafy's Loyalty Chart, the third least.
In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", when he and Leafy are in the bottom 2, Leafy tells him she appreciated every second of the two of them being on the same team.
Liy[]
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Liy pulls David out of the classroom after he is knocked over by Four grabbing Roboty.
Loser[]
In "The Escape from Four", David chants for Loser by saying "aw" repeatedly as Loser stacks more items on their tower to escape the EXIT.
Match[]
In "Out Of The Blue", Match uses David to break the window of the hotel.
Nickel[]
In "Lick Your Way to Freedom"'s stinger, Nickel tells David to stop licking the jawbreakers because they already lost.
In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", Nickel refers to David as a man.
Pen[]
In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", David appears in Pen's dream, buying a movie ticket from him.
Pencil[]
In "Reveal Novum", while David and Pencil compete against each other in the staring contest, David at first attempts to scare off Pencil to make her blink but fails. Later, David stays in a staring match with Pencil that lasts for a whole day.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", when Pencil says Roboty is dead weight, David replies "Aw, seriously?"
In "Outbreak At Stake", Pencil picks David to come with her and Bracelety to the classrooms. While climbing back up, when Bracelety interprets David's "Aw" as him being upset that they couldn't save Roboty, Pencil promises they can check the classroom on the way.
In "Out Of The Blue", David spends most of the episode with Pencil and Bracelety. After David is used as a diversion, she high-fives him in the face. When Pencil tells him to start collecting items for the stack, he does so. When David discovers a storage closet, Pencil tells him it is a good idea. Pencil and Bracelety distract Four to ensure David isn't caught.
Roboty[]
In "Fortunate Ben", Roboty, as well as Cloudy, tell David that they're glad he found his true calling when David is piloting their plane.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", David attempts to pull Roboty out of the classroom as the Exitors flee but fails as Roboty is grabbed by Four. And after Pencil calls Roboty a deadweight David responds with "aw, seriously" possibly out of anger.
In "Outbreak At Stake", David says "Aw" and Bracelety interprets it as him being upset that they couldn't save Roboty.
In "Out Of The Blue", David grabs Roboty and carries him through Four's mouth as the group escapes the EXIT, suggesting that he really cares for him.
Rocky[]
In "Fortunate Ben", it is Rocky's vomit that wakes him up in order for him to help steer the plane.
Woody[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", David does not cooperate when Woody tries to give him a ball to throw. However, when Woody manages to throw a ball into the basket, he cheers.
X[]
In "Enter the Exit", David runs away when he is eliminated, and X chases him down. When X corners David at the edge of a cliff, he forces David's head in his own head.
