Not to be confused with the original Death P.A.C.T..
Isn't it obvious? Let's just be Death P.A.C.T. again.

Death P.A.C.T. Again (an acronym for "Death Prevention and Creating Trust Again", stylized as DEATH P.A.C.T. again) is one of the seven teams in The Power of Two. Their name comes from the BFB pre-split team Death P.A.C.T., because four of the seven team members (Black Hole, Pie, Remote, and Tree) used to be on that team. It was named by Black Hole, who intended to name the team "Death P.A.C.T." again, accidentally lodging the "Again" into the name.

In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", since Death P.A.C.T. had all seven of their remaining members still on TPOT, Tree decided that they should all still be on the same team. Pen, however, chooses to leave due to wanting to be on the same team as Eraser, knowing that he has a chance to do so. Fanny ends up replacing him, and Pillow also leaves soon after for unknown reasons, joining Just Not. Later, Bottle leaves the team as well, wanting to join a team with more fun. After she leaves, Marker and Lightning end up joining them, completing the team. When Lightning asked what their team name should be, Black Hole tells him that they should just be "Death P.A.C.T." again, naming the team, but accidentally lodging the "Again" part in at the end.

During the challenge, Lightning flies ahead of his teammates, being the first to make it to the top of the building, though isn't able to come back down and get the rest of his teammates, forcing them to come up with a different strategy. It appears that they would've taken the elevator, but thanks to Snowball breaking it, Marker informs everyone that that isn't an option. Marker considers using Fanny to propel them up, but Fanny's propeller isn't strong enough for that. Remote ends up forming a plan where the team climb just enough stairs and jump out of the building and steal some of Black Hole's gravity to push them to the top. When they are nearly at the top, they realize that they didn't think the plan through enough. Fanny then replaces Remote's battery with one of her own, and she becomes recharged and comes up with a different strategy, which involves going up the last few flights of stairs and getting Black Hole's attention once they are at the top. Everyone is too exhausted to continue, so Remote carries her teammates. Along the way, she drops Marker, who hits one of the elevator buttons before running up the stairs.

Once the team is at the top, Tree accidentally drops the megaphone Remote gave to him earlier into Black Hole, which gives the team an idea to throw something next to Black Hole in order to get his attention. Remote then takes out her battery to use, sacrificing herself in the process. At this point, the elevator button that Marker pushed starts to delay the other remaining team. After Tree throws the battery, Black Hole begins flying to the top, but is barely beaten by The Strongest Team on Earth, causing them to lose the challenge.

Wins and losses

Episode Win/Lose Strategy
"You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?" Lose Lightning flies to the top of the building, while the others, realizing that Lightning can't fly back down, plan to take the stairs and get launched by Black Hole's gravity. Halfway through, realizing that plan won't work, Remote carries them up the stairs. Tree uses Remote's battery to grab Black Hole's attention and fly up, but they were just barely beaten by The Strongest Team on Earth.
"The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life" Win (4th) Black Hole accidentally sucked up the blocks, so they steal some and stack them up. Their stack was destroyed several times, but Tree (the only one building the stack) persevered. The team won with five stacks of blocks.

  • Pen, Pillow, and Bottle all leave the original Death P.A.C.T. in favor of switching to different teams, with Fanny, Lightning, and Marker replacing them.
  • Death P.A.C.T. Again and Just Not are the only teams with no season 1 contestants.
    • Death P.A.C.T. Again is the only team to have no season 1 or season 2 contestants.
      • This is also the only team that had all of its members in the TLC throughout BFDIA and IDFB.
  • Death P.A.C.T Again is the first team to lose a challenge in TPOT.
    • Just like in BFB, Lightning and Fanny are on the team that loses the first challenge.
    • Ironically, the original Death P.A.C.T. was the first team safe in the first challenge of BFB.
  • Death P.A.C.T. Again has the most former members from a BFB team at four.
  • If all acronyms are decomposed into what they stand for, Death P.A.C.T. Again (Death Prevention And Creating Trust Again) is the longest team name in the BFDI series, with a total of 42 characters.
    • Death P.A.C.T. Again (DPACTA) also has the longest acronym with six characters.
  • This is the first team to have multiple flying contestants.
    • Coincidentally, Black Hole and Lightning are also the only members of the team who were able to debut exclusively in BFDIA.
  • The jingle is a remix of the original one used for Death P.A.C.T. in pre-split BFB, which in turn is a remix of the "tada.wav" sound effect from Windows Vista-onward.
  • This team has more boys than girls. This is a contrast to the original Death P.A.C.T., where there were more girls than boys.
  • This is one of two teams that have a former team's name inside it. The other was the Newbie Alliance.
    • Death P.A.C.T. Again contains "Death P.A.C.T.", and Newbie Alliance contains "iance".
    • While the former was intentional, the latter was not.
  • This is the first team in all of BFDI to not have a single contestant that Michael Huang voices.
  • This team has four members from Death P.A.C.T. (Black Hole, Pie, Remote, and Tree), two members from iance (Fanny and Lightning), and one member from Free Food (Marker).
  • Death P.A.C.T. Again and Team8s are the only TPOT teams that have the contestants with arms outnumber the armless contestants.
  • This is the only TPOT team that doesn't have a contestant who's been the first safe in a Cake at Stake in a prior season.
  • The use of the word "again" to indicate a successor is also done in the name of the season Battle for Dream Island Again.
  • The shot of Death P.A.C.T. Again in "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", when Golf Ball says that they shouldn't get Teardrop, is based on the image of Death P.A.C.T. in the Battle for Dream Island: Official Character Guide. Remote, Tree, and Black Hole all maintain their poses, but there are a few changes:
    • Marker replaces Bottle.
    • Fanny fills in for Pillow and Pie's original spot.
    • Lightning replaces Pen.
    • Pie now does Liy's pose.
