— Donut, "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset"
|
Donut is a male contestant in Battle for Dream Island Again, Battle for BFDI, and Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two.
In Battle for Dream Island Again, Donut was one of the 10 new recommended characters that had the chance to join the show and he managed to do so with 307 votes, placing 19th to join the season. Donut competed on W.O.A.H. Bunch until "Get Digging" where he was eliminated with 573 votes, placing 22nd overall.
In IDFB, Donut is currently in the Tiny Loser Chamber due to being eliminated prior to "Intruder Alert". He had a chance to join the season, but only received 115 votes[2], which was not enough to rejoin and placed him 21st to join the season.
In Battle for BFDI, Donut competed on Team Ice Cube! however in "Four Goes Too Far", A Better Name Than That multiplied him by Four and because any number multiplied by zero equals zero (and Donut looks like a zero) Donut became the host for the season until "This Episode Is About Basketball" where he retired his host status to X. In "The Escape from Four", Donut left the show to compete on Two's show.
In Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two, Donut competed on Team8s until the team swap in "What's Up Bell's String?" where he was instead put on CloudYAY by One.
Appearance[]
Donut appears to be an unglazed, plain doughnut. His main body/pastry part is a light beige-apricot color. His shape also allows him to resemble the number 0, which gives him the ability to be multiplied by Four (a.k.a, having Four's liquefied body replace his filling).
He is filled with cherry jam filling that was first seen in "Get in the Van" when his cut-up remains were used during Cake at Stake. According to Ruby, it resembles blood, and tastes good. From "Gardening Hero" to "Return of the Hang Glider", Doughnut is a pink frosted doughnut.
His hole functions as his mouth, and rapidly contracts and changes shape to process words. Although his voice normally sounds airy and dry, his voice becomes very strained when he is stressed.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Yellow Face takes his arms, making him armless and look very similar to his appearance in "The Reveal".

Personality[]
BFDIA[]
In his early appearances, Donut came off as very rude and irritable. He did not get along very well with any of the other contestants, like Coiny or Pencil.
Due to his elimination the following episode, not much of his personality is shown until he returns as a host in "PointyPointyPointy ♫". In the episode, he acknowledges his past elimination, reflecting an awareness of his place in the show's history. As a host, Donut is warm and approachable, greeting each group of contestants with genuine friendliness. His positive and encouraging demeanor is aimed at making the contestants feel at ease and engaged.
Although Donut maintains a laid-back attitude, he is committed to his hosting role. He takes his responsibilities seriously by actively overseeing the contestants and offering necessary guidance to ensure the challenges run smoothly., such as when he advises Needle to be cautious when using Fanny’s fan to propel herself upwards on the LOL.
Overall, Donut’s hosting role is marked by a blend of active involvement and cheerful engagement. He manages the contestants with a balance of playful energy and responsibility, demonstrating his dedication to creating a positive and well-managed competition environment.
BFB[]
Donut is more considerate and thoughtful of other contestants, especially his teammates. He has been seen getting along with Bottle, looking out for Bomby, calling Gelatin his "brother", attempting to inspire and rally his teammates to win a challenge, telling X that he was a good host, defending Bell when everyone was climbing her string, and sacrificing himself to save Spongy from lava. He believes everyone should be treated with respect and not as objects.
Generally, Donut is a rational person, similar to his teammate, Barf Bag. However, when provoked, he easily becomes emotional and angry, and usually resorts to yelling, with his interactions with Gelatin and wanting to blow up Bomby as examples, but in some ways, Donut can be nice to others.
However, this changes after he absorbs Four in "Four Goes Too Far" and becomes the host. He becomes more rude and arrogant to the other contestants and finds happiness in rubbing failure in the face of others. For instance, he mocked Loser at his elimination, which is something no other object would do. He was also shown to be somewhat biased towards his team in "Questions Answered". However, after he resigned as host and gave the position to X, Donut returned to form and became nicer when his sense of power was removed.
TPOT[]
Donut’s role in this season reveals his strengths as a quick thinker and a leader who earns his team's approval through proactive actions, most notably in "What's Up Bell's String?." His appointment as leader, despite Golf Ball's initial desire for the role, signifies a notable shift in team dynamics. The team's collective choice of Donut over Golf Ball indicates that Donut is viewed more favorably as a leader. This preference may stem from Donut's perceived fairness and approachability, contrasting with Golf Ball's reputation for being rude and bossy. The decision reflects the team's inclination towards a leadership style that is more inclusive and less abrasive, favoring Donut's positive attributes and previous experience.
However, his character also shows areas where he struggles, such as in strategic planning and understanding all aspects of the challenge. His leadership is marked by a balance of responsibility, fairness, and adaptability, even as he navigates conflicts and unforeseen outcomes. When Pen and Needle confront Donut about 's tree, Donut's confusion highlights a communication breakdown. It shows that while Donut is actively engaged in the challenge, he may not be fully aware of or involved in all aspects of the situation. This lack of understanding leads to conflict and ultimately contributes to their downfall in the challenge.
Abilities[]
- Basic/Native Abilities
- Durability: In Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know, he is able to be stabbed but his body can go back to normal.
- Stickiness: In The Seven Wonders of Goiky, his cherry filling can be used as glue to hold the Balance Beam together.
- Stretchiness: In Questions Answered, Donut was able to fit in all of A Better Name than That in his mouth with no difficulty.
- Healing: In Enter the Exit, he is able to replenish his cherry filling, even after getting all of his filling and Four sucked out of him.
- As an Algebralien
- Algebralien Usage: Due to his shape being similar to that of a Zero, he is able to be used in algebralien equations. When multiplied with an actual algebralien instead of fusing like a normal algebralien and becoming the number total of the two algebralien values, the multiplied algebralien will get sucked into Donut and be liquified as his filling.
- Power Gain: After being used as a multiplicator for another number he can take any powers of the multiplied as his own, though he will be without any native knowledge on how to use the powers. He is however still capable of doing them with training and time, such as morphing a cloud into a timer and a failed recovery turned mutilation of Naily.
Weaknesses[]
- Basic/Native Weaknesses
- Inability to eat or drink: In Balancing P.A.C.T., Donut stated he can't chop down with his donut hole.
- As an Algebralien
- Personality Change: After multiplying an algebralien, Donut's mind will start getting influenced by the multiplied individual causing Donut to act more similar to the multiplied. This is shown throughout Donut's tenure as host of BFB as he acts more like Four after multiplying him. Donut would later describe the feeling as "having someone influence you from within" during "Oneirophobe's Nightmare".

Battle for Dream Island Again[]
Donut received 307 votes in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", which was enough votes to join BFDIA. After Golf Ball and Tennis Ball decided that they should split into teams, one of the teams are smaller than the other. Donut protests about this, but Pencil tells him to just deal with it. After a fight with Pencil, Puffball chimed in with the idea of somebody swapping teams for equality. While Ruby tried guessing who to choose, Donut quickly chose Match to spite Pencil. However, after Firey read the fourth rule about players being able to switch teams prior to a contest, everyone switched to the larger team except Donut. The contestants then have a screen montage, and Donut's favorite screen is the Announcer. Coiny joined the team, due to not wanting to be with Firey. Donut persuaded Pin to join his team and she does when the others pressure her into moving. The tiny team of three quickly lost in the tug-of-war match, with Donut being the last to fall. He then told the viewers to rate videos to vote rather than to comment.
In "Get Digging", after losing the first challenge, Coiny wanted to give the team a name, but Donut was too distressed by his team's loss to care. Pin said that the team should be called "the Coiny-Pin-Donut Bunch", but the idea was rejected. Soon, Coiny thought of a team name for the trio, with the name of "Wheel Ooze a Hole Bunch", inspired by various abilities of the three, but Donut got even angrier at him because the name was a joke, that sounded like "we'll lose a whole bunch." At Cake at Stake, Donut and his teammates got laughed at during the long walk of shame. He only got 197 likes, the least out of everyone. Donut's short-lived time in BFDIA came to an end with him receiving 573 dislikes. He was then catapulted into the Tiny Loser Chamber, which then was catapulted into the Locker of Losers. The lids of both shut, and Donut wasn't seen alive until "Welcome Back".
In "Get in the Van", Donut was chopped up into 18 little pieces for the "cake" at Cake at Stake. It was also revealed that there is cherry filling inside of him, which Ruby thought was blood. According to Firey Speaker Box, he was recovered and returned to the TLC.
In "Intruder Alert", Donut can be seen inside the TLC.
In "Well, Look Who It Is!", Donut is urged by Match to get Snowball out of her face, so Donut points out that he, Match, Puffball, Dora and Teardrop all competed in BFDIA, while the others didn't, adding that the two groups can't mix. Gaty suggests drawing a line between the BFDIA contestants and the non-contestants.
The BFDIA contestants are relaxing on the larger side of the room, while the rest huddle together on the other side. Dinner arrives, and Donut asks Puffball if she heard any noises coming from the peanut gallery. Puffball says no, but Donut insists that he heard something. He hears Pinecone talking and calls it a fascinating story, adding that it must have come from far away. Match asks him if the voice in question sounded like Pencil's, and Donut confirms that it wasn't her. Suddenly, the ground shakes, and Donut asks Dora if that was her.
Subsequently, Donut notices Coiny attempting to pull a glitching Pin out of a hole, and asks what's happening. Pen assures him that it couldn't be that scary, but when he sees it for himself, he screams and insists that they need to leave immediately. Later, as the LOL is flying in the sky, Dora decides to order takeout. She requests an island, and Match asks for one of her own with additional matchstick factories. She holds the phone toward Puffball, who orders an island with rainbows, sparkles, and puffy clouds. Annoyed, Donut snatches the phone away, telling them to stop bothering the delivery person with strange requests, and proceeds to order an island with lots of blood.
As the credits roll, Clock inquires about the islands they ordered, and Match tells him that she doesn't listen to people on the opposite side of the line. Donut informs her that their islands have arrived, and Match tells him that she doesn't listen to people on her own side of the line either.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", Donut hosts the first island. He introduces himself to Needle and Pencil's dead body as "the first boot of BFDIA." He directs them to grab a blanket, which Needle does, and she mentions that she hasn’t seen him since his elimination. Donut confirms, then outlines the challenge: each duo must fill their jetpacks with fuel and use them to fly to the next island.
Bomby, Fries, Ruby and Book arrive next on the island. Donut greets them with a warm welcome, noting it's been a while since they’ve crossed paths. Ruby, excited, calls Donut's island tasty and immediately starts eating the cherry filling.
Later, Tennis Ball and Nickel have completed the task, and Donut remarks on their win as they take off towards the second island. Meanwhile, Needle also finishes the challenge but discards her jetpack mid-ascent. She lands on the LOL, uses Fanny's fan to spin around it, and launches herself upwards. Donut shouts at her to be careful, reminding her to watch where she’s going.
IDFB[]
In "Welcome Back", Donut is given a chance to join the game, along with the other characters in the TLC. Although the season is currently on hiatus, he ended up getting 115 votes, placing 21st (to see spoiler texts, hover over it or highlight it with your cursor).
Battle for BFDI[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Donut is first seen having a conversation with Bottle when Yellow Face shows up with a pile of forks. Donut asks why he's collecting them and learns that Gelatin is using them to make a large stack of forks.
Later, when Four arrives, Donut angrily asks what they want, calling them a murderer, but is screeched in response. When making teams, Donut is one of the last four unpicked contestants and gets chosen by Barf Bag, along with Naily. When picking a team name, Donut says it should be something that stands out and isn't dumb. It ends up being Team Ice Cube!, named by Bracelety.
During the challenge, Donut tells Gelatin off for trying to blow up Bomby to get them to the basket, but his team is safe.
In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", he yells at the viewers for voting incorrectly (examples being "H", "[EF]", "[A ]", "{G}", "[Ruby]", and "[B"), asking them to be more careful. However, he is flung back to his team and flies over some recommended characters. He isn't seen when the rest of his team licked Teardrop out of the jawbreaker.
In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", he first appears getting on his team's swing. He appears later when his team is in the bottom 2 to finish against . Gelatin says that his team "goes hard", and in agreement, Donut starts a speech that inspires his team - Spongy, Gelatin and Barf Bag in particular - to propel the swing. However, their swing was blown up by Bomby off-screen, causing his team to be up for elimination.
In "Today's Very Special Episode", he is first seen as the only one from his team who showed up to the Cake at Stake place. The rest of his team are on Bell's string. He opts not to climb it, as it is disrespectful to Bell. Bell thanked Donut and says that there wasn't a "hole" in his logic. However, Gelatin, who was on the string, tells Donut he's "party pooper". Donut then tells Four that he didn't play the Cake at Stake intro last episode and that he owes it to the viewers to play it again. He is the third safe, getting a barfed cake. His hole removes the barf, leaving a clean slice for Bottle when it flies into her mouth. When it's down to the bottom 2, Donut demands to know who's safe and then says he hates his new voice, caused by the vomit.
In "Fortunate Ben", when Four says that he got Bracelety's fortunes from the dumpster, Donut, along with some of his other teammmates, look at Gelatin angrily. Donut yells at Gelatin for saying that they should ignite Bomby to destroy the other paper planes.
In "Four Goes Too Far", Donut becomes part of Golf Ball's plan to remove Four by multiplying him with zero, or Donut. The plan is executed, and Four and X (supposedly) disappear. However, as a consequence, Donut possesses the powers of Four. This is because Four is now a factor of 0, Donut is now 4 times 0, or literally "the power of Four".
Because of this, Donut becomes the temporary host and gets to choose the next contest. He grabs a syringe and injects himself with it, explaining that he now has the Twinkle of Contagion. Gelatin rudely interrupts, suggesting the name "Tinkle of Contagion", which Donut gets very offended at. He calls Gelatin out for his immaturity, saying he acts like he's 6 years old, which he jokingly agrees to.
He explains the next contest: the contagion transfers to anyone who looks at the contagious one, and the team with the infected person at the end of the 3 hours is up for elimination. Stapy asks why he isn't infected yet, to which Donut simply responds that "he hasn't said 'go' yet". He starts the contest and gets reinfected for a short while in the heart scene.
Once the timer is up, he announces that The Losers! are up for elimination, due to Clock being the last one to have the twinkle. He narrates the voting screen at the end.
In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", he tells everyone to clear the area near the Lavatories, as Cake at Stake is starting. Lightning and Bottle are excited. Lightning uses Camera to take a picture of Donut doing his first Cake at Stake. However, Donut can't be seen on Camera until Lightning realizes he zoomed too far into Donut's hole.
Donut hosts The Losers!' Cake at Stake, giving out poppers topped with "a grain of sugar". After Loser is eliminated, Donut traps him in a jawbreaker using Flower's Announcer Crusher. However, his diary is inside, and Donut, shocked, frantically presses the crusher's activation button.
While Clock, Barf Bag, Firey Jr., Remote, Flower, and Bell oppose Donut's method of eliminating Loser, Fanny, Naily, Bottle, and Cake are in favor of it. When Taco falsely claims that Loser's dead, Donut throws the Liar Ball at her, squishing her. Seeing the chaos, the contestants throwing the Liar Ball around; it gave Donut an idea for the next challenge, which is to avoid having the liar ball fall into their team crater.
In "Questions Answered", after hearing Clock ring, Donut announces it's time for Cake at Stake. In order to host it, since A Better Name Than That lost and they were on the Moon, along with , he uses TV to connect with his camera. After calling himself "Bagel Brain", Lollipop laughs that he's using the nickname she gave him. Donut says it's a habit and Lollipop continues to laugh until Donut shuts her mouth with his arms. Tennis Ball asks how he was able to do that if he was on Earth, to which he says his new camera can transmit matter. Basketball asks him why he can't take them back to Earth that way, but he says it only goes one way. Lollipop then bites Donut's hands and they get trapped on the Moon side. Donut then decides to unite the Earth and Moon by rolling the Earth into the camera with his feet and out of TV.
Donut then takes ABNTT to the elimination area, where all of them are sitting far away from him. He tells them they don't have to sit so far, which is followed by Grassy, going inside his hole. He says he thought that was a little overboard, but the rest of the team go inside his hole too. The prize for being safe was a chopped up piece of Firey Speaker Box, to which Firey is upset about, but Donut says it was "just tit for tat" (essentially meaning revenge for what the speaker box did to him in "Get in the Van"). After revealing 8-Ball is eliminated, he asks how he feels about being eliminated on the eighth episode, which he thinks is his favorite number. 8-Ball begins to tell him he doesn't have one, but is interrupted when Donut snaps his fingers, turning the gravity back on and getting 8-Ball crushed by the Moon.
Donut then announces that the next contest is a quiz show. The contestants only need to answer one question to be safe. During the quiz, Donut tries to get Team Ice Cube safe, getting annoyed at Barf Bag for not answering for the team. Because of this, he makes one of the questions based on what he said to his team in "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset". When Barf Bag answers this correctly, Donut is very happy, making Stapy think he's biased. He attempts to punish teams who answer incorrectly by playing a recorded audio of Four screeching. This has no effect when he tries it on , but when he listens to it himself, he gets knocked out. However, he quickly recovers and continues hosting. When it's between iance and Free Food to be eliminated, Donut fails to notice that Stapy and Puffball replaced iance's buzzer with a fake, so when Bubble can't buzz and Free Food answers, he announces that iance is up for elimination. He begins to narrate the voting screen but is interrupted when Match shows him footage of their buzzer being replaced and puts Free Food up for elimination instead.
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", Donut is unhappy hearing Clock (and Dora) ring, because he has to host Cake at Stake. At the start, he is very unenthusiastic until he sees Gelatin being held by Lightning above Fries in another attempt to eat his fries. After Donut shouts at him, he makes a last-ditch effort to eat a fry by chomping on one. However, this "fry" ended up being X, who explained that he ran away during the collision between Donut and Four and had been hiding ever since. Donut, who is tired of hosting, puts X in his place for hosting Cake at Stake.
Afterwards, Donut is about to announce the 9th contest, until X interrupts him, saying that he thinks he could host. Donut gladly allows X to takeover. During the basketball challenge, Gelatin starts to propose to their team that they use Bomby. Everyone on the team expects him to say something related to blowing him up, but he finishes his sentence with "to throw balls into the basket". Donut sarcastically agrees, but Barf Bag thinks Gelatin is starting to take a step in the right direction.
During the voting screen, there is no narration, until Donut reminds X that he has to say the lines. After saying the lines, he asks Donut if he did okay, which Donut says yes to. In the episode's stinger, Donut walks past X, telling him he did a good job.
In "Enter the Exit", Match asks Donut if he can recover contestants. He says he's tried bringing back Naily, but mutilated her in the process. He is seen arguing with Match until X is about to announce the next challenge. However, the contestants make the challenge to bring Four back. This results in Firey stabbing a syringe into Donut, sucking up the essence of Four, leaving Donut as a thin circle. Donut is later shown back to normal when Naily reunites with her team.
In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", when trying to figure out who the impostor on Team Ice Cube is, Donut believes Firey Jr. isn't a fake because, as said in BFB 3, no is quite like him. Firey Jr. then believes the faker is Donut because he isn't being mean, which is an impression he got from him being the first one eliminated in BFDIA. Barf Bag defends him though, saying Donut was sticking to his principles. When the team starts suspecting Bomby was an impostor, Donut is hesitant about believing this. But iance then finds the impostor on their team, so Donut and his team are last in the challenge and are up for elimination. Donut is also seen to be annoyed by Four and X arguing over who said a bad joke, and gets more annoyed as the argument goes on.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", when Firey Jr. got the most votes, Donut tells Firey Jr. that there's no one quite like him but that maybe that's for the best. Then when Firey Jr. gets eliminated, he half heartily agrees with Naily when she says good riddance. During the challenge, Donut and his team, led by Gelatin, jumps in the hole iance made. They later land on Bubble, who iance thought had popped, but Bubble somehow manages to carry the entirety of Team Ice Cube!. (However, Flower would later fall onto Spongy, adding extra weight enough for Bubble to pop.)
Later, Team Ice Cube! becomes conscious after the fall and starts to dig to the left, and eventually uncover something.
In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Donut told his team that the area they found underground is called a Buried Forest, Deciduously Insulated. While most of Team Ice Cube are having fun, Donut takes care of Barf Bag, after she is punctured by Naily, by patching her up. Gelatin finds a hot spring, which they could use to refill Barf Bag. Donut tells Bomby to refill Barf Bag as he is the strongest of the team. Donut is relieved when she's conscious and hugs her. Barf Bag thanks him for caring for her and starts to repeatedly state that she feels great, slightly annoying Donut more every time. Barf Bag then figures out she feels good because the water inside is warm and checks the water to feel how warm it is. Donut asks what her point is and she says that something has to be heating the water up. It turns out to be an underground volcano, forcing the team to vacate the area. However they have a hard time pulling Spongy up after they had used him to climb the steep hill. Donut gets down from the hole and pushes Spongy up to safety, sacrificing himself in the process as he falls backwards into the rising lava.
In "The Escape from Four", Donut is recovered and attends Cake at Stake. After Gelatin shows his unenthusiastic attitude at Cake at Stake, Donut tells him to be a bit more polite. Donut ends up being the last person on the team to be safe with 5,115 votes, while Spongy is eliminated with over 4 times the amount of votes he got. He is shown to join TPOT after Fanny's speech over Four changing the prize of BFB. Later, Loser steals Donut's new diary for some new reading material.
Battle for BFB[]
In "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", the entire episode revolves around Donut's second diary going missing.
Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two[]
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Donut is first seen watching TV as he reveals that Four brought back the BFDI as a prize. However, Donut agrees that it isn't worth it to switch back to BFB. Donut continues to be in a team with Barf Bag. Upon hearing Naily and Bomby are still sticking together, he assumes they're all going to be on a team together but they decline. However, Coiny joins his team with Pin and Needle, wanting to reform W.O.A.H. Bunch. In the challenge, Donut uses Saw to climb up the building. He then holds her above the building to make Gaty use her magnetic form to hit Saw.
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Donut, Barf Bag, and Needle work on building their stack. Coiny interrupts, saying he's thought of a new way to stack things, which involves using glue. Liking the idea, Donut and Barf Bag both get to work on gluing and stacking their blocks. Later, Bell gets her string tied around Team8s' stack and can't get it off, and Donut chases after her with his team to get it back on their podium. The Team8s are safe with the tallest stack and they win a token.
In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Donut is nearly crushed by a stack of falling blocks and asks what's going on today, as there are blocks everywhere. Cake realizes that Donut is right and says they should do something about them until he's crushed by blocks himself to Donut's shock. Donut's team decides to build a restaurant for the amusement park. However, a stray laser shot from a Zap Ray vaporizes the attraction as a whole, leaving them and The S! up for elimination.
In "Gardening Zero", Donut tries to comfort Pin's worries by saying, "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger", and adds he's only speaking because statistics show that whoever speaks right before Two announces the votes is first safe. Pin then tries to say something, but is cut off by Two saying she's first safe, much to Donut's frustration. Donut ends up in the bottom two with Saw, who have their arms around each other. Donut sadly agrees to Saw's panicking, but he's safe with 4,135 votes, being exactly 8 votes above his teammate.
Later, during the challenge, Coiny pulls Yoyleland out of the hat, to which Donut remarks it'll be his first time there. When his team arrives at Yoyleland, Donut calls the funny plant fascinating, remarking that he can see it grow in real time. The funny plant then suddenly grows, going in and through Donut's mouth. In the stinger, Donut is still standing over the funny plant, when a beam from the quasar goes through his mouth and vaporizes the plant. Donut is confused at what has happened until Gaty explains it. Donut understands, even calling it obvious. Team8s place second, and Donut is safe.
In "Fishes and Dishes", Donut orders a fishing rod from Coiny's phone and casts it into the lake, hoping to reel in one of the plates. He ends up getting nothing as Pin points out that his idea wouldn't work because the plate are miles underwater. Coiny says what they need is a strong magnet, but Donut and the rest of the team want to order something else and reach for Coiny's phone. This causes Coiny to order the magnet, but he accidentally had it sent to Yellow Face's Warehouse.
Donut says that they'll need to catch the nearest train, so Needle grabs everyone and carries them to the train station. They end up taking "The Slowest Train Ever", but Barf Bag makes them move faster by replacing "slowest" with "fastest". Donut tells her to undo it, but she refuses. They end up reaching the warehouse in no time and find the magnet that Coiny ordered. Needle uses the magnet to pull the train back home quickly, just in time to get the last plate, making Team8s safe.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", when Four and X's silhouettes are revealed at the entrance of the hotel, Donut gasps that it's David and Dora, with Gaty having to correct him. Later during the challenge, Donut tries to throw Two into the Goiky Canal, as part of a plan to trap them to make them dinner. The plan fails as Two just lands on the surface of the water, and obliviously waves to a disappointed Donut, who waves back. In the end, Donut's team uses Coiny's sandwich prop as dinner, and that grants them the highest score by Two; a 10/10. Later in the stinger, Donut is zapped by X in an attempt to steal food from the hotel.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Donut tells Two distribute the destroyed monuments by giving one to each team. His team is assigned with fixing the balance beam. Coiny and Pin force Donut to hold a broken half of the balance beam steady so that they can balance on it. The two fight over a mirror, which causes it to expand and land next to the balance beam. The angle makes it look as though it was still fixed, so the team decides to balance their broken half against the mirror. This worked until Pin caused the balance beam to wobble and shatter the mirror, to Donut's frustration.
The team then trades the shattered mirror to Just Not in exchange for wires. Barf Bag suggests that Donut will have to get mangled for the challenge, as the team decides that he will hold the two halves of the beam together. Donut is glued to one end of the beam, as the team pulls both ends backs with the wires. When they let go, the halves fling into each other, crushing Donut in the process, with his cherry filing holding the beam in place. Two gives the Team8s immunity for the challenge.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", he became armless after being forced to swallow Yellow Face's gumball. He started screaming because he wanted his arms back, starting the intro. When the the contest started, Donut brings up that his team hurt him last episode after Barf Bag points out that she felt stronger and had power. Pin started violently shaking Donut as she apologizes to him for hurting him that time, accidentally causing him to roll down the balance beam.
Some of the teams, Are You Okay and The Strongest Team on Earth., jumped over Donut and he almost went near to the water. But Barf Bag threw Pin across the balance beam and she stopped Donut from rolling. He yelled at Pin that she nearly pushed him in the water. Since Donut and Pin were stuck away from their team, Donut wanted to form a pact with Death P.A.C.T. Again to not knock each other off. After seeing Tree being giant and limbless, Donut says that it makes losing his arms look pretty good. Donut and Pin then had an idea about detaching Fanny's mouth to silence her. Later, Donut got knocked by Fanny's mouth and couldn't stand any longer on the balance beam without his arms. After being kicked off the balance beam directly by Price Tag, Donut fell in the water, putting Team8s up for elimination, along with Are You Okay. He then yells that his team should have won.
In "Outbreak At Stake", Donut follows his team, Are You Okay, and Teardrop into the hotel after Barf Bag became zombified. He is shown worried about the zombies breaking in. He later asks Two who was knocking on the door, and refuses to help Anchor like the rest of his team. Donut gets the most votes but fails to catch his cake due to no longer having arms. Gaty told Donut that he should use his legs to catch things. When Two sent zombified Barf Bag wooden stakes, Donut got angry at Two, who profusely apologized. When Two is looking for all the teams, Donut says that the Team8s are going to find Four and X. When arriving at the kitchen door, Donut yells for them but notices a note on the door saying they are having a kitchen bonding retreat. Needle picks up him, Pin, and Gaty and runs to the hotel basement.
They walk down the old wooden stairs before zombified Puffball breaks it and they fall into the sewers below. Pin, Needle, and Donut swim through the sewers before reaching a pocket of air underneath the steakhouse. He is taken by a zombified Income Tax Return Document and is ripped in half when Needle and Tax Document grab and pull on him. In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", Since the last episode, Donut has been recovered and has most likely been looking for Barf Bag alongside the rest of his team. As the contest starts, he stands with his team, except Barf Bag who is still hiding.
Now inside of Barf Bag's nightmare, Donut encourages his team to find ingredients and pour them into the giant Barf Bag. He and his team start pouring random liquids into Barf Bag. Pin, Donut, Needle, and Gaty are now pouring tons of Caffeine into Barf Bag. While they were pouring random liquids into Barf Bag, Donut was using his foot as a hand to hold a giant milk jar and a giant water jar. When Gaty worries about how much she could handle, Donut says it's probably fine. Around 6 seconds later he asks who said it's fine and that it wasn't him. Barf Bag wakes up whilst plummeting off the hotel and her team is safe, and then they crash into the ground and all die. Tennis Ball recovers him as well as everyone else who died. Donut and his team comfort Barf Bag about the outbreak situation. At the very end, Donut and a group of other contestants are zapped by an upset Four.
In "What's Up Bell's String?", Donut is placed onto a new team, which is eventually named CloudYAY. Despite Golf Ball's insistence on becoming the leader, Barf Bag suggests that Donut should take the role instead. Everyone, except Golf Ball, agrees to this. During the challenge, Donut struggles to come up with a strategy until Golf Ball approaches, telling them that she has a plan. Winner tells her that Donut is thinking, but then informs Donut that he needs to think of something fast because the timer is quickly running out. Suddenly, Two is whisked away by Gaty, prompting Donut to flip the timer(which he flipped with his foot) while they are distracted, resetting it and earning praise from his team for his quick thinking. Golf Ball points out that they still don't have any items for their pit before concluding that they are of no help and leaves.
Donut is seen occasionally flipping the hourglass until they are approached by Pen and Needle. They claim that CloudYAY has 's tree and demand its return, but Donut has no idea what they're talking about. Pen and Needle fight Donut and Barf Bag for the tree, but suddenly Needle notices the moon quickly approaching them, and they all get crushed to death before they can take any action. Eventually the challenge ends, and CloudYAY's pit unintentionally merges with 's, causing them to tie for fourth place. As a result, both teams lose the contest and are put up for elimination.
In "Category One", Donut is the fourth one safe on his team, receiving 13,123 votes. He is upset by Barf Bag's elimination, and Two allows them to speak on his couch to say their goodbyes. The couch ends up getting sawed in half by a chainsaw blown into the hotel, and some of Barf Bag's vomit spills onto Donut; she says he can remember her this way, but a disgusted Winner wipes it off.
For the challenge, Donut and his team are tasked to deal with the dragons circling the hotel roof. After Golf Ball explains her plan, Donut asks for the input of any of his other teammates, to which Golf Ball begins to argue with him. Pillow, having enough of their argument, pushes them onto the roof, and shuts and locks the elevator door.
Donut warns Golf Ball to avoid incoming dragon fire, before the two of them are blown off the roof from the outside storm's intense wind, distracting the giant David outside before they hit a tree. They dig underground to protect themselves, only for Donut to inadvertently separate himself from Golf Ball. Golf Ball insults him for his first boot status, leading him to kick dirt at her and continue to argue. They dig up when they hear Tennis Ball's voice, only for both of them to be crushed by the giant David following TV.

BFB[]
- BFB is the only season where Donut wasn't in the bottom two at his first Cake at Stake.
- If Donut is considered a number, he is the only number contestant in BFDI.
- Donut is one of the few contestants who have had their votes drop in BFB, as he got 2,066 votes in "Today's Very Special Episode", and only 1,817 votes in "Return of the Rocket Ship". The others are Gelatin, Naily, Bomby, and Woody.
- "The Escape from Four" marked Donut's first time in the bottom 2 since "Get Digging".
- Donut is one of the five contestants who technically ranked better in BFB, despite quitting, than in a previous season due to the 40 way tie for 16th. In Donut's case, this beats his 22nd place in BFDIA, which was also dead last. The others are Needle, Golf Ball, Pin, and Puffball.
TPOT[]
- Donut is the only BFDIA newbie on Team8s.
- Donut and Pie both received the same number of votes at their first respective Cake at Stakes in TPOT, 4,135 votes each.
- Coincidentally, both were in the bottom two when they got said amount of votes.
- In addition, both are food contestants who've been the first eliminated in a season of BFDI.
- As of "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Donut has lasted the longest in TPOT out of the food contestants.
- This is in direct contrast to BFDIA, where Donut was the first food contestant to be eliminated.
- TPOT is the only season where he competes in and doesn't host the show.
- Donut follows the same pattern as Marker in TPOT. Both went from being in the bottom two and surviving at their first Cake at Stake to being safe with the most votes at their next.
- As of "Category One", Donut is the highest ranking former member of Team Ice Cube! in TPOT.
General[]
- Interestingly, Donut has filling but also has a hole. This is not normal for real-life donuts; jelly donuts do not have a hole, while normal donuts with holes do not have filling. Jelly donuts also have an additional hole on the side for the filling to be inserted; Donut does not have that hole despite having filling.
- This is referenced in Donut's Diary, which reads: "Why do I have filling, but also a hole?"
- Even though he is a donut, he looks a lot more like a bagel. This was mentioned in "Four Goes Too Far" when Lollipop calls him a "bagel-brain".
- Donut's mouth is his donut hole.
- Donut is the only character with a circular mouth.
- In Donut's original design, he was armless. This was changed in BFDIA 1.
- Coincidentally, Donut lost his arms in Balancing P.A.C.T.
- Donut's favorite screen is Announcer-shaped.
- Coincidentally, Donut became a host in BFB.
- If Donut is considered an Algebralian, he is the only gendered Algebralian in BFDI's history.
- In both "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know" and "Lick Your Way to Freedom", Donut instructs the viewers on how to properly vote.
- Sometimes since BFB 2, his voice (saying, "And don't forget to use brackets!") always accompanies Four's voice when giving instructions on how to vote at the end of an episode.
- This was not used in the third and fourth episodes, but in "Fortunate Ben", Donut's voice returns accompanying Four's.
- This may be because Beep was up for elimination both times he said it, so it may be a recycled line.
- Despite not being a number, Donut can be multiplied with Four, entirely due to him having a body shaped like a zero.
- Interestingly, Donut can also harness the factor of Four after being multiplied by him. However, he does not use his powers as much, possibly stating the reason of his lack of control on his powers, as shown in "Enter the Exit", where he tried to recover Naily, but ended up mutilating her in the process.
- Of Four's abilities, manipulating the clouds into a timer seems to be the only one that Donut can do with no difficulty.
- It is unknown if he is classified as an Algebralian or not. He could possibly be a sub-species of Algebralian, due to his Algebralian like powers. With Donut being able to make numbers disappear is similar to Zero's powers when using the Division Symbol on Pi in "Pie Vs Pi: The Pi Day Massacre".
- He is the first contestant to get screeched at by Four.
- Donut's hole is very stretchable, as seen in "The Liar Ball You Don't Want" and "Questions Answered".
- This allowed the Liar Ball and all of A Better Name Than That to fit through/inside his hole.
- His favorite season is summer.
- Donut's OMG phrase is "Oh My Bakery".
- Donut was the first of many characters to die in the lava in BFB 14.
- Donut has the secret ability to replenish his cherry filling if it is ever depleted.
- In the TPOT intro, Donut is doing his same pose from "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know".
- As of "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Donut is now the only BFDIA newbie who has yet to appear in a single episode thumbnail.
- "The Seven Wonders of Goiky" marked the first time Donut was shown from a sideways angle.
- "Questions Answered" could be another example of Donut being shown from a sideways angle.
- Donut having no arms in "Balancing P.A.C.T." alludes to his original design where he use to lack arms.
- Donut is the first male contestant to start the TPOT intro.
- He seems to be unable to catch with his legs, as seen in Outbreak At Stake.
- However, he has never caught with his arms either, so he might not be good at catching in general.
