Dragons are a species in the Battle for Dream Island series. They primarily appear in The Power of Two and first debuted in "Fishes and Dishes".

Appearance[]

Dragons are large creatures with proportionally small limbs, each having three digits. They have two horns on their heads, wings on their backs, and long tails. So far, they have been seen in shades of purple, green, and blue.

Coverage[]

In "Spore Day", a dragon called "The Dragon of Greater Goiky" appears in Book's pages. It gets killed by Pencil and Pin.

In "Fishes and Dishes", a dragon appears, blocking Just Not and Puffball's path. Pillow throws Cake at the dragon's face to blind it.

In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", during an imaginary sequence, a green dragon appears while the members of Just Not are playing Goiky's Dragons. Later, they decide to slay a dragon and cook its meat for the challenge. Upon finding one, it burns Cake and chokes on a chocolate ball. Bomby chooses to save the choking dragon, causing it to befriend the team and fly away.

In "Category One", multiple dragons attack the hotel. CloudYAY is tasked with fending off the dragons from the hotel, and they do so successfully via Pillow with a flamethrower.

Two blue dragons appear in "I SAID CAREFUL!!!" on the obstacle course traversed by Death P.A.C.T Yet Again.

A dragon appears in "Seasonal Shift" as one of the alternate reality hosts. After the Announcer flings Basketball and Robot Flower using the Sender Scoop Thrower, they land on the dragon’s back, and it flies away.

Trivia[]

  • The dragon is the first non-object character to perform the dodging pattern.
  • In "Category One", Golf Ball says to her team that a "thunder of dragons should be easy to obliterate if we make our way down to Basketball's factory!" suggesting that the collective noun for dragons is a "thunder".
  • In "Spore Day", one of Book's pages describes a prehistoric version of the dragon, which had longer horns, a spiky tail, sharper teeth, and gill-like attachments. The page also suggests that it may be an ancestor of dragons and fish monsters.
