The Enhancement L-Yoy-Ser (pronounced as Enhancement L-oy-ser) was a machine that upgraded the designs and abilities of anyone or anything that it hit.

Effects[]

The effects of the laser varies between shrinking and enhancing, Effects of Enhancing mode include the designs of certain things or characters being changed to higher quality instead of being poorly drawn. The changes the laser makes are permanent. However, it only physically affects characters or objects that are physically lower quality, while some may have changes in personality, abilities, or voices, as well. The laser's effects can be shielded by hiding in or behind a protective barrier, such as Grassy being inside Bottle.

It doesn't seem to have any effect on the original BFDI contestants, as they did not seem to have their assets changed when being hit by the laser. The reason for this is currently unknown. One exception is Rocky, who got his Barf back after being hit by the laser.

Coverage[]

After the WTFers go in the Science Museum, they encounter the Enhancement L-Yoy-Ser. Gelatin decides to go on it. He hits a tree, a supershop, a car, most of the recommended characters, and the Locker of Losers, causing everyone (except Grassy who was inside Bottle at the time) to be affected.

While Gelatin was shooting, Rocky jumped in front of one of the lasers, causing him to regain his barf and acid barf. He then proceeded to barf acid on Gelatin and the laser, disintegrating both.

Trivia[]

  • The laser is also presumed to also hit the Grasslands and the Plains, since there is no scene between BFDIA 13 and IDFB showing the de-modernized versions of the two biomes. Please note that is purely speculation and in Black Hole's nightmare in Oneirophobe's Nightmare we can see the rest of Death P.A.C.T. Again running through different locations, including the Grasslands and Plains. On the Earth map in the linked page, BFB and BFDI are on seperate continents.
  • The name "L-Yoy-Ser" is a joke from Bubble's habit of replacing "ay" with "yoy", making this a joke of "laser". It could also be a refrence to Yoyle.
