Since TPOT 7, Golf Ball has become closer to Puffball, after they were both suspended from the challenge. Without noticing it, she distanced Tennis Ball from herself. In the same episode, Pen, Eraser and TV demonstrated good dynamics with Tennis Ball. Already in the next episode, TPOT 8, when Golf Ball did not include Tennis Ball in her plans at all, his relationship with Pen, TV and Eraser became even closer.
Episodes suggesting a friendship[]
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Tennis Ball congratulates Pen after stopping Black Hole sucking their blocks up. Later, Tennis Ball gets obliterated by a laser and Pen is very concerned for him, before dying himself.
In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters" Tennis Ball, Fries and Pen are cheering TV's name because he show a tutorial of how build the chairs.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky" TV, Pen, Tennis Ball and Eraser go for glue to fix the volcano all together. Pen calls Tennis Ball a third bro and asks him what they should do for the challenge, TV drives all three of them to the hotel. When they arrive at the hotel Tennis Ball asks Eraser if he has found anything useful.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", when Golf Ball leaves Tennis Ball during the challenge, Pen tells him that he can hang with them. The three of them agree to use TV to knock their opponents off the Balance beam and are shocked when he gets knocked into the water and dies. When Tennis Ball uses Pen as a sword, Pen approves saying that it was sick. After Vomitdrop appears the three suggest knocking her off while they have the chance. Tennis Ball says that he and Pen should try weighing Snowball down so that he falls, Pen obliges calling Tennis Ball smart and that he trusts him. After Pen and Tennis Ball fall off they tell Eraser that this is his only chance to get Teardrop.
In "What's Up Bell's String?", when Pen gets worried about Eraser not being on his team, TV says that himself and Tennis Ball are here for him, Pen then asks why TB is so stressed, TV says that TB and GB have never been on separated teams before, TV then tells TB to calm down because they are here for him. TV attempts to comfort Pen and Tennis Ball on their new team after the two are separated from their respective best friends. Pen himself later comforts Tennis Ball as well.

In "Return of the Hang Glider", Tennis Ball tells Pen to face the fact that they aren't getting Dream Island back.
In "Gardening Zero" when Eraser says "Aw Seriously" about going to Davidland, Tennis Ball tells him not to say that and that it brings back bad memories. Later on in the episode Eraser asks "Tennis Bro" what happened to "Golf Girl" Tennis Ball tells him that she already used her bracelet to get to Davidland.
In "Fishes and Dishes" Pen is shocked when Tennis Ball is killed by a fish monster.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T." while Tennis Ball initially thinks targeting Teardrop would be too dangerous, Pen says that they would win in a 3 vs 1. Tennis Ball is still skeptical of the idea and says it would only work if Teardrop was weakened.
Episodes suggesting a conflict[]
In "Gardening Zero", when Tennis Ball and Golf Ball explain how loud the Davids are and how dangerous it is to the Funny Plant, Eraser laughs and states that they finished each others sentences, Later on when Pen is about to provoke the Davids Tennis Ball covers his mouth.
In "Fishes and Dishes", when Pen bumps his bubble into Golf Ball's, Tennis Ball immediately rushes to her defense and tells Pen not to hit Golf Ball and bumps into him. This causes the three to get stuck as they start to infinitely bouncing into each other. Later, Tennis Ball tells Pen to stop. Surprised, Pen retorts that he hasn't been in control for the past eighty bounces. Also in that episode, Tennis Ball hits Pen, and maybe TV would've solved the situation, but he was on the fake fish monster.
