Wrong season.

Fake intros are a running gag in BFDI, BFDIA, BFB, and TPOT in which a character or in some cases, objects, will seem like or attempt to do the intro of a season but end up either failing (For example, in TPOT if a character doesn't finish their yell in time for the white-out to end) or it ends up being a fake-out (for example, in BFDIA, at numerous times the TPOT intro would be faked).

Occurrences[]

  • "Sweet Tooth": After Announcer reveals that the challenge is about cooking and eating, the intro starts playing, but is cut off due to him realizing that it was already played earlier in the episode (specifically, it played after the removed video fake-out in the opening).
  • "Gardening Hero": Shortly after David is sent to the Tiny Loser Chamber, the intro plays before being once again cut short due to already playing earlier. This time however, Leafy asks to play it again "for good measure", causing it to play anyway.
  • "Meaty": As Firey yells "Curse you, Tennis Ball!", the camera moves back in a similar manner to the TPOT intro.
  • "Well, Look Who It Is!": When Flower's life support flatlines, the tone raises in pitch and the screen turns white as it would in a TPOT episode. Shortly after the first notes of the intro, the episode cuts to Firey, who remarks, "Wrong season."
  • "SOS (Save Our Show)": Leafy raises her hand to start the intro, but the camera moves away from her to show the spot beside her due to Four not being in the intro anymore, hence no hand raise.
  • "Category One": Two's voice raises in pitch when they yell "Protect the hotel!", but it quickly lowers as they say it due to being at the wrong pitch. Afterwards, Gaty exclaims "What was that?", which properly starts the intro.
  • "Seasonal Shift": During a scene that takes place during "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", Four starts the BFB intro after capturing the TPOT contestants and putting them in court, similarly to the original episode. Donut interrupts the intro by running into Four.
