This article lists the interactions between 8-Ball and Golf Ball. Their interactions were mostly defined by 8-Ball's usurpation of Golf Ball's position as team leader of A Better Name Than That.

Episodes suggesting a friendship[]

In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", 8-Ball let Golf Ball and Tennis Ball be on his team because they were balls.

In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", he appeared to be angry at Blocky for killing Golf Ball and Tennis Ball. He later yells at Four demanding for them both to be brought back. He ends up being the one who frees her from her jawbreaker.

In "Today's Very Special Episode", 8-Ball admits that it was his fault that they almost lost. This surprises Golf Ball, and she says he's not a "completely useless, moronic, dumb robot", he says thanks in response. 8-Ball says he thought he was helping her by saying everything in a sarcastic tone as humor to lift the spirits of their team. The two seem to have made amends.

In "Four Goes Too Far", 8-Ball let Golf Ball decide what they should do to stop Four's ruthless behavior.

In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", before the team connects Robot Flower to Remote via signal, Golf Ball asks 8-Ball if he's ready to go, he says yes.

Neutral interactions[]

In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", one of Golf Ball's steps in her plan to get the basket to X involves having 8-Ball and Basketball weigh the basket down. When Golf Ball is killed by Blocky, 8-Ball assumes he's now in charge.

In "Today's Very Special Episode", 8-Ball makes the team waste time in the contest. He proceeds to make the team do the opposite of what Golf Ball says throughout the length of the contest.

Episodes suggesting a conflict[]

In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", 8-Ball looked at Golf Ball with an angry look when Blocky said that she was disrespecting Grassy and agreed that he should be the team leader.

In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", 8-Ball looks at Golf Ball with a smug smile as he constantly makes the team do the opposite of whatever Golf Ball says. However, Golf Ball soon took advantage of 8-Ball's command method.

In "Today's Very Special Episode", 8-Ball tries to stop Golf Ball from drawing in the contest while yelling treason.

In "Four Goes Too Far", 8-Ball says the opposite of Golf Ball's commands again. Although he was only joking, Golf Ball takes it personally, yelling "You said you'd stop that!".

Despite the fact that they made up in BFB 4, they appear to angry with each other when they are both in the bottom two in "Questions Answered". They both claim that leading the team will be so much easier when either of them are gone. Golf Ball even smiles when 8-Ball is eliminated.

  • Golf Ball was the 8th contestant to be eliminated in BFDI and 8-Ball was eliminated in the 8th episode of BFB.
