Cary Kaiming Huang (simplified Chinese: 黄凯明, traditional Chinese: 黃凱明, pinyin: Huáng Kǎimíng) (born March 18, 1997) is a Chinese-American YouTuber, animator, writer, producer, and voice actor. With his brother Michael Huang, he co-created and co-produced the animated web series Battle for Dream Island. Michael is his (fraternal) twin brother, and Cary is older than Michael by 2 minutes.^[1] On January 9, 2020, Cary graduated from Stanford University and received a degree in Computer Science.^[2]

He was a writer for BFDI and was also the primary animator for the first three seasons of BFDI. Cary rarely animates as of BFB, except for a small segment in "Don't Dig Straight Down" and "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life." Cary also created the BFDI flash game, BFDIA 5b.

Cary is the creator and owner of carykh, Abacaba, Cube Roll, Humany, Zack Bone Productions, and lazykh. In carykh videos, he uses a stick figure named Sticky^[3] to represent himself in animations. The stick figure has never appeared canonically in the BFDI universe, but made a non-canon appearance in "Thanks for 4 years of Thanks for 4 years!" and is alluded to by Ruby in Lots of Mud.^[4]

Cary voiced the first and last words to ever be spoken in Season 1, both were said by Match.
- He also voiced the first word to be spoken in Battle for Dream Island Again, said by Tennis Ball, and IDFB, said by Ruby.
He is around 5'11-6'3 tall.
Cary created many flash games that could be played on HTwins.net including BFDIA 5b, albeit they are no longer able to be played on the website as they were initially intended.
Cary has created several series on his channel carykh, including Algodecathlon, Algicosathlon, B.A.G.U.E.T.T.E., and Ten Words of Wisdom.
At 15 characters, Cary does the second most voices out of any voice actor, with Michael being the only one with more roles. This was confirmed at the end of every BFB episode.
Loser is his favorite character in BFB.^[5]
- Cary has also stated that Gelatin is one of his favorite characters in BFDI in "CARY REACTS TO BFB 8," because he can make jokes for him and not feel stupid.
Cary once stated that he considered Tennis Ball his most relatable character in a Humany video ranking all Season 1 episodes.
Cary owns 2 female cats, a tabby cat named Good, and another tabby named Better.
In CARY REACTS TO BFB 8, Cary reveals that he cannot snap his fingers, so whenever he must or is in a group setting, he fakes it.
Cary is one of the authors of Battle for Dream Island: Official Character Guide. In the intro, he is mentioned by name and appears in a photo.
Cary used to animate a large portion of Battle for Dream Island, but now does mostly voices and scripting. He did, however, animate a scene in "Don't Dig Straight Down" with Free Food.
Cary normally does speed-cubing since he first got into Rubik's Cubes in 2013.
Cary has stated that his least favorite episodes in BFDI are "Puzzling Mysteries" and "Insectophobe's Nightmare 2".^[6]
In the chat of a live stream, Cary confirmed that his favorite episodes of BFB are BFB 7, BFB 14, and BFB 22.
Cary got his third silver YouTube Play Button in July 2020 for Abacaba, with the first two being for jacknjellify then carykh. However, up until recording Unboxing 3 Silver Play Buttons (and a BFB 30 announcement!), he had only unboxed the first one.
Cary is a moderator on the subreddits r/BattleForDreamIsland and r/okbuddybfdi, an ironic meme community based on the BFDI series.

On June 1, 2021, minor planet (10003) 1971 UD1 was named by the International Astronomical Union after Cary Huang, making him the first and only creator to have a minor planet named after him.^[12]
He also has a voice role in an anime series called HAXWARE.^[13]
- Cary has also voiced a few other characters in different object shows, including a boat salesman from Manic Object Brawl,^[14] and the Eggspert from Object Kerfuffle.^[15]
