Episodes suggesting a friendship[]
In "Take the Plunge: Part 2", after Needle picks Snowball to be on her team, Blocky says: "Ooh, they're in love!". Needle disagrees and says that she likes Coiny more, making him, Coiny and Snowball gasp. They can be seen working together to put the teams yacht together.
In "Power of Three", Needle is put on Coiny's team, along with Ice Cube.
In "Puzzling Mysteries", Coiny asks Needle why she doesn't like being called Needy, Needle tries to explain but is flung to the TLC.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", out of all of Team No-Name, Coiny chooses Needle, and said, "Uh Needle, if you don't join, I'll call you Needy... Three times... In a row." However, this was probably because she was the easiest one to be forced to go to, with the method above.
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", when Coiny and Pin did a high five, Needle had a sad face.
In "Get in the Van", Needle and Coiny were together for most of the episode.
In "No More Snow!", Coiny shows Needle how to set the Distance Tracker 2000 from Evil Canyon to Yoyle Mountain.
In "Well Rested", Coiny and Needle recover Team No-Name. Coiny compliments Needle's devious strategy of placing noisy headphones on Gelatin and Ice Cube, their former teammate in "Power of Three". Needle assures him that they'll get no sleep and that they're sure to win. When the team needs to get rid of cloud that has formed in their building, Needle pulls out a pipe that she calls a "long thing". Coiny say it's a dehumidifier and connects to the building, which causes the cloud to slowly shrink. When Coiny manages to scare FreeSmart in their sleep by saying Evil Leafy, Needle encourages him to keep going.
In "Four Goes Too Far", Needle holds onto Coiny when Bell bashes the basket they're hiding under.
In "Questions Answered", when Pin is giving her speech, Coiny leans against Needle saying that Pin's right.
In "Enter the Exit", when Needle says that someone more dexterous should squeeze Four out, Coiny says she's right.
In "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", Coiny says that Needle will do the challenge because she's fast, much to Needle's excitement.
In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Coiny asks Needle what happened to her, referring to her CGI effect from the Photo Cake.
In "The Four is Lava", when Coiny is racing towards Four, Needle quickly runs, grabs, and brings Coiny to Four, making The Losers! safe.
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Coiny brings Needle and Pin along with him when he wants to team up with Donut.
In "Fishes and Dishes", after the team gets ahold of the world's strongest magnet, Coiny had it set to magnify her, and she tells him to let her down. Coiny does so while pointing out that the magnet has a unique feature that allows one to select what it's attracting. This gives Needle an idea. She tells Coiny to set the magnet to to magnify the train. He does so and she tosses him in front of the train, causing the magnet to pull the train all the way back to the beach.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", after waiting hours for Two to fall in the leaf trap, only for Bottle to fall in, Coiny suggests that they just turn in his prop bread. Needle agrees, taking the bread and placing it down for Two to judge later.
In "Outbreak At Stake", Coiny smiles at Needle after she was declared safe at the elimination, despite Coiny getting eliminated himself.

In "Catch These Hands", Coiny and Needle swap Vocal Chords in exchange of Bomby's prize.
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", when Coiny gets an idea for the challenge, Needle irritably says "Finally!"
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", when Coiny says he has a new idea for stacking things, Needle points out that they've already started, to which Coiny replies that they don't have to start over. As Coiny begins to demonstrate, Needle bumps into his hand, knocking her off her feet. Later, Needle continues adding more blocks to the stack and Coiny says that they don't need anymore as their team had the tallest stack. Needle replies that the ramp is fun.
In "Fishes and Dishes", Needle tries to get Coiny to order floaties to help them swim.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Coiny knocks Needle over when he exclaims "Did someone say sandwich?!"
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Needle tells Coiny, Pin, and Gaty to release their end of the wires so that the two ends of the balance beam would crush Donut.

In "Power of Three", "Puzzling Mysteries", "Half a Loaf Is Better Than None", and "Zeeky Boogy Doog": Needle slaps Coiny several times for calling Needle by her nickname, "Needy".
In "Return of the Hang Glider", Coiny slapped Needle for voting for Firey to win Dream Island instead of Leafy.
In "Get Digging", Needle laughs at the W.O.A.H. Bunch as they walk to the Cake at Stake area.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", Coiny threatened Needle that he would say "Needy" 3 times in a row if Needle didn't switch to his team.
In "No More Snow!", Coiny calls Needle "Needy" so that he could get out of the bottom of the Evil Canyon. He also had no problem with the team having to kill her, though it was so they could bring her back. He also didn't seem concerned to learn that Needle, Pin, and Spongy were dead forever if it meant his chances of winning increased.
