Spaceship

Spaceships are vehicles that first appeared in "Gardening Hero". They provide a way to travel through space.

Features

Spaceships do not have a way to close the window, which is extremely impractical in space. Luckily, the contestants could still breathe in space because of budget cuts, so it doesn't matter.

There are built-in lasers that can shoot other ships, disintegrating them instantly.

Firey mentions a "super-speed mode", likely making the lasers fire at a very fast rate, but he never uses it. According to Leafy, it wastes lots of energy and isn't eco-friendly. However, he would be seen using it in "How Loe Can You Grow?" to enlarge the Sun; it is seen to fire one supercharged laser instead of making its rate of fire faster.

Coverage

In "Gardening Hero", the contestants are flung into space due to "budget cuts". After Cake at Stake, the Announcer starts the next contest, which is to get inside a spaceship. He also gives them all immunity, but they can lose it by getting hit by something and/or dying. Leafy and Bubble get into theirs immediately. Firey struggles, but eventually gets in. Firey and Leafy shoot at Spongy, but he is able to dodge them all. Spongy then shoots Leafy. Bubble's ship is slowly sucked into a Black Hole. Spongy is then sucked into the black hole, but the black hole is sold due to budget cuts before Firey and Bubble are sucked up, too. Then, Firey's spaceship is also sold due to budget cuts. Bubble then shoots Firey and wins the challenge.

In "The Glistening", the contestants plan to go back to Earth, but their only spaceship is out of fuel. Leafy has a bag of fuel, but the Announcer says that it only runs on "Contestants". But that was a joke, as it actually runs on "Big Yellow Squishy Contestants", which refers to Spongy. They push him into the spaceship and return to Earth. At the end of the episode, the sign showing the fuel source for the ship is changed to "Voters".

In "Well Rested", a bunch of leftover spaceships are shown inside the abandoned Aerospace Manufacturing Plant. In "Intruder Alert", said spaceships are dismantled by W.O.A.H. Bunch to make a new TLC.

Versions of spaceships

Spongy's private jet

In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Spongy procures a "private jet", later also dubbed as an "airplane", to escape the underground's lava. The spacecraft appears to be specifically tailored to Spongy, and thus only has room for one seat. Like the other spaceships seen in earlier seasons, Spongy's private jet can reach space fairly quickly. It is also equipped with cannonballs. However, in "The Four is Lava", his private jet was destroyed by Puffball, who used Bell's string to spin her, catch a cannonball, and then swing it back at Spongy's ship. The private jet then lost altitude and crashed. Spongy survived the crash via parachute.

In "How Loe Can You Grow?", the private jet returns in perfect condition. After Spongy gets eliminated, Loser ensures Spongy that he will take good care of his jet. Spongy tries to warn Loser about a flaw with his jet but gets cut off when he starts floating off. The Have Nots later uses the private jet to shoot a laser at the sun to enlarge it, and when they see X on fire, they fly the jet towards the sun to shrink it. However, they aren't able to shrink it since the jet burnt up when it closed in on the Sun.

Cardboard spaceship

This spaceship was made by Blocky as a prank and gifted to Gelatin in an attempt to sabotage the Have Cots effort in shrinking the Sun. When it closed in on the Sun, it ironically did not burn, as real cardboard would; the metal spaceship (with the Have Nots in it) burnt up instead.

In The Hidden Contestant. The Cardboard Spaceship crashed with Lollipop and Flower inside. The ship crashed due to Flower piloting the ship and trying to go to earth with the spaceship. The spaceship crashed off-screen. And is unknown where it has crashed at the moment.

The Skeld

The Skeld is a place where the contestants interact in the non-canon shorts "If Among Us Was a BFDI Challenge" and "If X-MAS in Among Us was a BFDI Challenge".

Xanta's Ship

Xanta's Ship is Xanta's personal spaceship that they use to deliver presents to the contestants (currently) on the Skeld. It first appeared in "If X-MAS in Among Us was a BFDI Challenge".
