Pencil, the leader of her alliance.

This page is about the relationships and interactions between Pencil and the other characters.

Pencil is very loyal to her alliance members and to the people she can trust. However, her stubborn attitude causes her to gain a lot of enemies, especially towards people who aren't in her circle of friends.

8-Ball[]

In "Enter the Exit", when 8-Ball and the rest of the male eliminated contestants enter the EXIT, Pencil gets angry and starts to complain when a bunch of boys walked in. Pencil gives 8-Ball and Stapy a weird look when they claim they already want to leave the EXIT, even though they just got there.

In "The Escape from Four", Pencil learns from 8-Ball that Loser can't hear them from inside the liar ball.

Relationship status: Enemies (Pencil's side)

Announcer[]

Screenshot 2019-01-10 at 1.27

In "Power of Three", Pencil says that she doesn't like Cake at Stake, causing the Announcer to threaten her to get eliminated immediately, so she tells the Announcer that she likes Cake at Stake instead.

Screenshot 2019-01-10 at 1.35

In "Puzzling Mysteries", Pencil points out to the Announcer that the TLC's carrying capacity is six and therefore full. Later on, when the Announcer tells the contestants that there is a way out of the room, Pencil calls him a liar.

In "Cycle of Life", Pencil gets angry at the Announcer for popping Bubble, saying that he murdered her.

In "Lofty", Pencil laughs when the Announcer calls Golf Ball 'GBGB for short'.

In "Half a Loaf Is Better Than None", Pencil accuses the Announcer of murdering Match, but the Announcer assures her that the laser only teleported Match to the TLC. Pencil makes a weird noise in response to the Announcer's explanation as to why their prizes for reaching the halfway mark are half of a pair of scissors.

In "Bowling, Now with Explosions!", Pencil tells the Announcer that being in the final eight is wonderful.

In "Rescission", when Pencil learned that she was eliminated, she slammed the Announcer three times, exclaiming that the Announcer is broken. After her elimination, the Announcer called Pencil "a menace".

In "Return of the Hang Glider", Pencil screams when she learns that the Announcer sold Dream Island.

In "SOS (Save Our Show)", it's shown that Pencil spotted the Announcer in BFDIA. She asks what he's doing there and he says he's actually a tree, which Pencil buys.

Relationship status: Enemies

Blocky[]

Screen Shot 2017-06-21 at 6.57

In "Barriers and Pitfalls", after Pen and Eraser volunteer to find Blocky, Pin picks Spongy and Pencil to go too. Pencil leads the operation to get Blocky out of the fish. She does this by dancing at the fish and chanting at it to let him out. After the fish wraps its tongue around Pencil, Pen and Blocky attempt to pull it off.

Ueh

In "Are You Smarter Than a Snowball?", "Blocky = BOZO" is written in Pencil's doodle.

In "Lofty", Blocky tosses some nails at Pencil, who throws some back. They cancel each other out by hitting each other.

In "Don't Lose Your Marbles", Pencil listens to Bubble vent about how mean Blocky is and calls him a murderer for popping her.

In "Vomitaco", Blocky throws a bowling ball at the alliance while they are inside the giant barf bag, tearing a hole and causing a leak. When Pencil fixes the leak he caused, Blocky says "Whatever," so Pencil lobs a wad of vomit at him, knocking him off his platform.

In "Bowling, Now with Explosions!", Pencil is saved from some kind of curse when Blocky takes away her pencil. Blocky takes away 56 points from her for even thinking of subtracting his score, which makes Pencil angry.

In "The Reveal", when the Announcer decides to commemorate Blocky's elimination, Pencil stops him from doing so, and Leafy agrees with her.

In "The Glistening", Blocky votes for Firey to be eliminated, saying "Gotta put out the fire." Pencil makes a weird noise in response.

Relationship status: Minor enemies

Book[]

Main article: Book, Match and Pencil
Relationship status: Friends (on Pencil's side), enemies on Book's side (as of BFB)

Bracelety[]

Pencil and Bracelety are presumably friends since Pencil formed a clique with the three other girls stuck in the EXIT with her.

In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", after they escape the EXIT classroom, Bracelety says that Ice Cube would know what to do next. Annoyed by her obsession, Pencil demands Bracelety to say exactly what Ice Cube would say right now. After thinking, Bracelety says that Ice Cube would say to go "this way" while pointing down the hallway.

In "Outbreak At Stake", Pencil groups herself with Bracelety and David to find a way to escape the EXIT.

Relationship status: Possibly friends

Bubble[]

Main article: Bubble and Pencil

David[]

Pencil and david

In "Reveal Novum", Pencil and David are the two finalists in the staring contest. Pencil laughs at David's attempt to make her blink and chants for him to blink. They proceed to keep their eyes open for an entire day, but David ends up losing to Pencil due to the sunrise.

In "Enter the Exit", when David and the other male eliminated contestants enter the EXIT, Pencil gets angry and starts to complain.

In "Outbreak At Stake", Pencil picks David to come with her and Bracelety to the classrooms. While climbing back up, when Bracelety interprets David's "Aw" as him being upset that they couldn't save Roboty, Pencil promises they can check the classroom on the way.

Relationship status: Neutral

Donut[]

Donutvspencil

In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know!", Donut realizes his team is significantly smaller than the other team. Pencil tells him that he needs to simply deal with it. In retaliation, Donut slaps Pencil, so she stabs him with her tip, causing Donut to use Firey to set Pencil ablaze. Firey tells Donut to calm down, to which Pencil agrees but Donut denies. As a form of revenge, Donut tried to force Match onto his team, much to Pencil's dislike. After everyone but Donut has switched to Team No-Name, Pencil and Donut have a face off.

Relationship status: Enemies

Eraser[]

In "Barriers and Pitfalls", after Pen and Eraser volunteer to find Blocky, Pin picks Spongy and Pencil to go too. Pencil leads the operation to get Blocky out of the fish.

In "Puzzling Mysteries", Match and Pencil gossip and laugh about the time when Eraser stepped on a nail. Pencil agrees to help with the puzzles when Eraser says that he just wants to finish.

In "SOS (Save Our Show)", in one of Announcer's flashbacks, Pencil and Match can be seen chatting with Eraser.

Relationship status: Likely Friends

Evil Leafy[]

In "Get in the Van", she is devoured by Evil Leafy.

In "No More Snow!", it's shown that she and the other FreeSmarters survived and they try to escape from her body.

In "Well Rested", Pencil's team gets terrorized by Evil Leafy.

Relationship status: Enemies

Fanny[]

In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", when Fanny declares that she hates jumping, Pencil angrily tells her to stop killing the vibe, and then demands that Lightning zaps her. Bubble tries to stop him but Pencil talks her out of it. Pencil smiles devilishly as Fanny is electrocuted.

In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", when Pencil and Fanny are in the bottom two during Cake at Stake, Pencil sarcastically says, "Too bad about Fanny though," as she thought Fanny would be eliminated over her (which wasn't the case).

Relationship status: Enemies

Firey[]

In "Take the Plunge: Part 2", Pencil pops her head through a leak in their boat and Firey tells her to stay there to keep it plugged.

In "Are You Smarter Than a Snowball?", Pencil agrees with Firey about loving chocolate cake.

In "Vomitaco", Pencil tells Firey to hurry up with his taco.

In "Bowling, Now with Explosions!", Firey took off Pencil and Leafy's points due to them subtracting his points first.

In "The Reveal", Firey unintentionally threw a sharp frisbee at Pencil's back.

In "Rescission", Pencil was mad at Firey for killing Bubble with a laser and disintegrated him as revenge.

Screenshot 2019-01-13 at 6.53

In "Return of the Hang Glider", Pencil and Match tell Firey to choose their alliance be on Dream Island. Pencil gets mad at Firey when she learns that he rejected Leafy from Dream Island. Firey tells her to look at a UFO but Pencil thinks it's a trick.

In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know!", Pencil agreed with Firey when he said that she and Donut should calm down.

In "Well Rested", when Pencil says that she'd hate to be far away from the recovery centers if she were to die, Firey says that she has a good point, and Pencil thanks him.

In "Welcome Back", Pencil hung Firey over the Yoyle Needy in a cage for doing something bad to them offscreen. When she almost falls off the edge, she casually says hey to him.

Relationship status: Frenemies

Firey Speaker Box[]

In "Get in the Van", Pencil asks the Firey Speaker Box if she is safe and he says that she is.

In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Pencil screams when the Firey Speaker Box appears out of nowhere. Later, Pencil gets worried when he appears out of nowhere at the summit because she knew he'd send Match to the TLC. She also tries to help Bubble pass as a tree to fool him (which doesn't work).

Flower[]

Wuhoh

Pencil has repeatedly shown her distaste for Flower, considering her to be a major enemy of her entire alliance (even though not all members of her alliance hate her), despite later being on the same team with her. The first scene of BFDI has Pencil and Match gossiping about Flower's fear of bugs.

In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Ruby recovers Flower, much to Pencil's horror. Pencil threatened to expel Ruby from the alliance for reviving Flower, though she later told her she didn't actually mean it.

In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Match sends out Lightning to zap Flower, but Bubble interfered before the plan came to fruition, making both Pencil and Match angry.

Relationship status: Enemies

Four[]

In "Enter the Exit", Pencil and Liy talk about Four coming back and the math problems that he forces them to do. When Leafy warns Pencil about what Four does to anyone who doesn't do their math, Pencil brushes the possibility of being screeched off, claiming she's probably built up a tolerance to it. Pencil is shown to be slightly intimidated by Four as she sits up properly in her seat when she hears the door knob shaking. When Four comes back, Pencil asks him why a bunch of boys are in the EXIT with the girls.

In "Outbreak At Stake", Pencil, David, and Bracelety run as Four attempts to zap them for escaping the classroom.

Relationship status: Enemies

Fries[]

In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Pencil tells Fries that Teardrop is dead and is surprised to see that he isn't dead. Fries informs her that it's because Gelatin gave him a dose of anti-poison. After learning that anti-poison causes someone to eat another contestant, Pencil asks Fries who he ate and he says Spongy, which makes Pencil and Match happy.

Gelatin[]

Capture419

In "Get Digging", Pencil warns the Puffball riders, which includes Gelatin, to watch out for a wild Leafy in Yoyleland.

In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Pencil catches a frozen Gelatin before he hits the ground and exclaims that she's a lifesaver just like Match. When Pencil questions why Teardrop ate Nickel, Gelatin tells her it's a side effect of the anti-poison. When Gelatin saves Match from being crushed by the HPRC, Pencil and Match criticize his lifesaving skills since he wasn't able to save himself from dying.

In "It's a Monster", Pencil corrects Gelatin when he calls the FreeSmart SuperVan a FreeSmart Van.

Relationship status: Possibly enemies

Golf Ball[]

In "Barriers and Pitfalls", Pencil refuses to help Tennis Ball and Golf Ball over the rock wall because they aren't on her team. Later Pencil laughs and sarcastically thanks Golf Ball and Tennis Ball for freeing Bubble along with falling out of the obstacle course.

In "Are You Smarter Than a Snowball?", Pencil writes "GB is mean" in her doodle.

Screenshot 2019-01-19 at 11.26

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", Pencil grows a nervous expression on her face when Golf Ball asks her alliance why they aren't helping. Pencil explains to Bubble that they shouldn't have to listen to the Book of BFDI Tips and Tricks because it's over a billion years old and was written by Golf Ball. She also says that Golf Ball wouldn't know anything because she was eliminated 8th.

In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", when Golf Ball tries to explain their plan, Pencil gets angry and says it's only Golf Ball's plan and says she's bossy. Golf Ball angrily tells her to get out and then has her incinerated.

In "Get in the Van", when Match starts to get scared from being in the bottom two to be eliminated, Pencil comforts her, saying that Golf Ball will be eliminated because she is "bossy". Pencil tells Golf Ball that she won't promise not switch teams and ultimately decides to cut ties with Team No-Name to form her own team.

In "No More Snow!", Match and Pencil laugh at Book when she considers rescuing Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, and Rocky from Evil Leafy.

In "It's a Monster", when Golf Ball falls in the FreeSmart Supervan, Pencil yells "Oh my God, it's a monster!" and kicks her out.

In "Taste the Sweetness", when Gold Ball mentions some of her original teammates not getting along in the past, Pencil rolls her eyes. She also frowns when Golf Ball tells her she's in charge of marketing. She also nonchalantly calls Golf Ball out at not assigning herself a job.

Leafy[]

Bandicam 2018-04-26 19-05-39-062

In the puppet portion of "Bowling, Now with Explosions!", Pencil and Leafy look for something fun to and decide to watch clouds with Pen.

Screenshot 2018-10-30 at 7.07

In "The Reveal", Pencil apparently thinks that the gift Leafy gave to Bubble could be a trap. When she's proven wrong she demands a gift from Leafy.

In "Rescission", Pencil kills Leafy with a laser for no apparent reason.

In "Return of the Hang Glider", Pencil tries to vote for Bubble to win Dream Island but switches to Leafy when everyone threatens to slap her. Pencil gets mad at Firey when she learns that he rejected Leafy from Dream Island. When Pencil learns that Leafy stole Dream Island, she agrees that she deserves the death penalty. She's also the one who finds Flower's Announcer crusher so they can use it to kill Leafy.

In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", Pencil uses a Leafy Detector to help the angry group find where Leafy went.

In "Get Digging", Pencil warns several members that if they come across a wild Leafy to get away as fast as possible.

Its not that bad

In "Enter the Exit", when Leafy warns Pencil about what Four does to anyone who doesn't do their math, Pencil brushes the possibility of being screeched off, claiming she's probably built up a tolerance to it.

In "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", when Leafy is crying tears of joy over her rejoining the game, Pencil can be seen looking at her with a jealous expression.

Relationship status: Enemies

Lightning[]

Throughout "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Pencil and Match use Lightning repeatedly as a method of dealing with their enemies more effectively. Pencil specifically has him zap Spongy and Fanny.

Relationship status: Neutral

Liy[]

In "Enter the Exit", Pencil and Liy chat about Four returning and the math homework that they've been forced to do by Four, as well as argue whether Pencil should finish her work-sheet or not. When Pencil celebrates over Bracelety's free time, Liy reminds her that free time is only for Bracelety since she did her math. Pencil tells her to be quiet since Four wasn't there. When Liy complains over 8-Ball and Stapy wanting to leave the EXIT, despite their recent arrival, Pencil gives her a frustrated look.

In "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", Pencil asked Liy what she was wondering about. When Liy points out that the secret door at the back is locked, Pencil says she's never seen Four with a key before, and Liy agrees.

In "The Escape from Four", when Liy tells Pencil and Match to climb up and lift up Loser, Pencil gives a long groan in response. Liy then threatens to demote them to "bember", which makes them both start climbing immediately. Pencil refuses to climb through Spongy despite Liy insisting they should.

In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", when Pencil enters EXIT, she notices Liy prying off the wooden boards on the door and asks what she and Stapy are doing, to which Liy explains that she never got to look behind the door at all before Four caught her.

In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", when Liy is hesitant to leave Roboty behind after Four captures him, Pencil tells her to leave him because he's dead weight.

Relationship status: Friends

In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Loser stops Pencil from attacking Naily. Pencil is happy to see him and yells "Oh my gosh, Loser!". Then Loser tells her to apologize to Naily, which she does.

In "Enter the Exit", when Pencil learns that Loser was eliminated, she gasps.

In "The Escape from Four", when Loser starts reading a chapter in Donut's Diary, Pencil tries to stop him since they can all hear him. After learning that he can't hear them, she decides to listen to his secrets by pressing a stethoscope to the liar ball, along with Match. Later, when the EXITors are trying to escape, Pencil says Loser should climb in order to continue building their tower of items in order to leave.

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", Pencil tells "Puffy" that the Puffball Speaker Box sounds exactly like her. Puffball tells Pencil not to call her Puffy and that she won't slap her cause she's nice. Pencil corrects her by saying that she won't slap her because she doesn't have arms.

Itssofuzzy

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", Pencil rubs the Puffball Speaker Box and comments on how fuzzy it is. When she's told to stop, Pencil tells Puffball that it even sounds like her.

In "Meaty", Pencil uses her magnet to bring her back to be the host due to Firey Speaker Box being an emotional wreck. She pulls the knife out of her so she is no longer incapacitated, but the knife ends up stabbing Pencil instead. Nevertheless, she successfully brings Puffball Speaker Box back.

Rocky[]

In "Lofty", Pencil only chooses Rocky for her team because the rest of the team picked him over Golf Ball.

In "Vomitaco", Pencil gets angry at Rocky for filling the giant barf bag with vomit, so she knocks him off his platform by throwing a bowling ball at him.

In "Reveal Novum", Pencil beats Rocky in the staring contest by throwing vomit in his face.

Screenshot 2018-09-28 at 6.53

In "Rescission", Pencil is shocked to hear Rocky speak again and asks him if it's weird after 15 months of silence. Rocky barfs on her in response.

In "No More Snow!", Match and Pencil laugh at Book when she considers rescuing Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, and Rocky from Evil Leafy.

Pencil's Revenge

In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Pencil grabs Rocky and kicks him for barfing on her, even though it happened 2 years ago.

In "Don't Lose Your Marbles", Snowball popped Bubble, leading Pencil telling him not to kill people with his finger. Snowball tells her that no one tells him what to do and Pencil isn't amused.

In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Pencil notices Liy and Stapy hastily rushing into the EXIT, and walks in asking what they're doing.

Teardrop[]

In "Crybaby!", Pencil chooses Snowball over Teardrop to be on their team, voting against her alliance.

Tennis Ball[]

In "Barriers and Pitfalls", Pencil refuses to help Tennis Ball and Golf Ball over the rock wall because they aren't on her team. Team No-Name[]

In "Get in the Van", Pencil leaves Team No-Name to form her own team. She later questions how they are passing them in the race to the summit of Yoyle Mountain.

In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Pencil freezes all of Team No-Name when Puffball has flown ahead of FreeSmart. Pencil also kills Rocky in order to slow Team No-Name down.

FreeSmart[]

In "Get in the Van", Pencil leaves Team No-Name to form her own team made up of alliance members, along with the alternates. Pencil also ends up picking the name FreeSmart. In order to start the contest, Pencil demands the team to get in her van.

In "It's a Monster", when the rest of FreeSmart is throwing snowballs at each in the FreeSmart Supervan, Pencil tries to tell them to stop before it mixes with the gasoline.

In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Pencil reveals the long lost Yoyle City. When they have driven far enough she tells them to get out so they can walk the rest of the way.
