Appearance[]
Five, as their name suggests, is a poorly-drawn Arabic numeral five. They have a purple body and lighter purple limbs.
Personality[]
In "Thanks for 900,000 subscribers!", Five spoke for the first time, and their personality begins to show.
They are very irritable and sarcastic, where they complain about Nine being so annoying. However, they are shown to be knowledgeable and is very law-abiding. After Seven is about to explain the "7-Ate(8)-9" joke, Five explains that cannibalism is not allowed in the Equation Playground. However, even with how grumpy they usually are, when Fifteen showed up to the Equation Playground, they were just as excited as everyone else.

Five is seen playing catch with Three during the start of "X Finds Out His Value". In the BFDI + II Meetup, Cary Huang refers to Five with he/him pronouns.
Five is seen in "The Four is Lava", where they were engulfed by lava.
Trivia[]
- Despite the colors of the numbers being based on Minesweeper, Five does not have this trait. In Minesweeper, the number five is maroon.
- In "Thanks for 1,000,000 subscribers!", Five is the only algebralian to be partially sucked up by Four.
