This article lists the interactions between Fries and Puffball. Puffball seems to be one of the very few characters that Fries genuinely enjoys being around.
Episodes suggesting a friendship[]
In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know, while Puffball is singing her song, Fries (along with several other contestants) is smiling.
In "Get in the Van", Fries tells Puffball to turn around to save the contestants Gelatin threw off and she listens to him.
In "No More Snow!", Fries wakes up realizing that he and Puffball are alone and asks her what happened to their team. Puffball tells him that Gelatin pushed Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, and Rocky off, which he already knew. Then she tells him that he fell asleep and says that Firey and Gelatin decided to tie their legs together and fell off. When they find Evil Leafy, Fries tells Puffball to follow her so they can get their teammates back, however they both only manage to get crushed to death by a weight.
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Fries convinces Puffball to join Yellow Face's team and she follows him.
In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", Fries tells Puffball to swing around fifty times instead of playing toss the dirt with Marker. It’s worth noting that when Fries got into Marker and Puffball’s conversation, she smiled.
In "Fortunate Ben", Fries quickly tells Four not to obliterate Puffball and to just disable her instead.
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Fries joins Are You Okay since Puffball is on it. Later in the challenge, when Puffball uses Fries to catch the teammates of Are You Okay, instead of dropping him, she gently lands Fries onto the roof.
In "Fishes and Dishes", Fries defends Puffball from Golf Ball when she tries to exclude her from the competition again, adding that this is the third time she's been mean to her. Fries refuses to leave Puffball out and leaves to sabotage other teams with her. They start with The S! by giving them shovel to dig under the canal. Which to their surprise, the team actually ends up attempting to do.
Later, Puffball sees Just Not flying into the sky. Fries doesn't believe her until he sees it for himself and tells her to follow them. Fries has Puffball attack the team and she bites onto Nickel. When Pillow throws an ignited Bomby at them, Fries desperately tries to get Puffball's attention to move out of the way, which she does just in time. Fries then tells Puffball to start chomping at the team, and continues chasing them. The two end up separated when Pillow knocks Fries off of Puffball by throwing Price Tag at him.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", when Fries and Tennis Ball are in the bottom two, Puffball tells Fries that he is her only friend on the team. After Fries is announced to be eliminated, Fries tells Puffball to activate the elimination prevention plan, but Two takes him away before Puffball can do anything.

In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Fries and Puffball go to recover Rocky after Golf Ball tells Fries to fly Puffball to the HPRC to recover him.
In "Well Rested", Fries does not react to Puffball’s elimination.
In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Fries says not now to who he thinks is Puffball when she makes a vomiting noise.
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Puffball uses Fries to catch all the other teammates and put them on the top of the building, which stretches Fries immensely. Despite that, he does not seem to be hurt and does not mention it.
In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Puffball creates a super intense rollercoaster because she saw Fries and her team praising TV for giving the design of the rollercoaster chairs. Puffball was making the rollercoaster and got jealous so she created a rollercoaster that was wilder than she was supposed to. Golf Ball sees it and gets mad a Puffball for doing this, and Tennis Ball says there's no time to make a new rollercoaster. Fries then snatches the machine off Puffball, saying they shouldn't dwell on it and that they should hurry and upload the rollercoaster.
In "Gardening Zero", when Tennis Ball says that Golf Ball instructed him to ban Puffball from participating in the challenge, Fries says nothing and goes along with it.
Episodes suggesting a conflict[]
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Puffball gets annoyed at Fries when he insults the Davids just as they are almost out of Davidland. In the same episode, Puffball betrays and kills all of Team No-Name because she wants to win another prize.

- Both joined in BFDIA.
- Both are voiced by Michael Huang.
- Both of them specifically quit BFB for TPOT only after Four replaced the BFDI with A BFB.
- They never switched from Team No-Name.
- They have been on the same team in every season they compete in: Team No-Name in BFDIA, Free Food in BFB, and Are You Okay in TPOT.
- In one way or another, both were the least voted for to join BFDIA. Fries in the original result and then Puffball after the absent contestants were removed.
- Out of the BFDIA newbies, they went the longest without being up for elimination in TPOT, up until "Fishes and Dishes".
- Ironically, they're the two lowest ranking BFDIA newbies in TPOT.
- They both were eliminated on the sixth episode of a season.
- They are the lowest ranking members of Are You Okay.
