This article is about the relationships and interactions between X and the other characters.
X acts much nicer and passive towards the contestants than Four, and as a result is generally more liked among them.
Announcer[]
In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", X asks the Announcer to name one thing they did badly while hosting. The Announcer is able to name many things however. X says they only asked for one thing so they basically came out on top in the argument. When Four wants the Announcer gone, X's first plan is to tell the Announcer to go away. Right after, X apologizes for calling him dork as they wanted to sound forceful. The Announcer later asks X to snap the eliminated contestants. X obliges and the Announcer pats them with his metal hand. The Announcer then asks X to recover the contestants if they die in the contest. X thinks about it, and the Announcer says please. X agrees to help since he asked nicely.
In "Chapter Complete", when the Announcer says that Four is cool, X agrees, calling him "Speaker friend". The two can later be seen planning a possible season 6, along with Four and Purple Face.
Balloony[]
In "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", Balloony tries to overhear what is going on in the EXIT. X then grabs him and drags him away.
Barf Bag[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", when X says the challenge is basketball, Barf Bag asks what they are supposed to do.
Basketball[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", when X decides the challenge is basketball, Basketball says "Yeah X?". X just says "not you!" in return.
Bell[]
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Bell swings Robot Flower into X's face. Later, Bell and Grassy steal his key.
Blocky[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", X is surprised at how quickly Blocky won the challenge. Blocky tells X that he said to use "balls", so he did.
In "A Taste of Space", when X has cooled down, Blocky shines a mirror back to the sun, making the sun hotter, and making X burst into flames again. This results in his team losing 1 point. Later in the challenge Blocky complains to X that their team got fewer points than the Have Cots. This results in Blocky's team losing 3 points, since he was "being mean". When Blocky freezes the sun by insulting it, X is angry since it's now way to cold, and subtracts 7,000 points from his team. When Blocky puts a block around the Earth to protect X from the sun, X does not see it as an improvement, and takes away 8,422 points from his team.
In "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", X thanks Blocky for complimenting his Aloe Vera garden before X is flung into the distance.
In "SOS (Save Our Show)", X is suspended over a cliff by Blocky for his prank.
Book[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", when X has a hard time choosing a contest, Book comforts X.
Bubble[]
In "How Loe Can You Grow?", Bubble asks X if he's actually trying to grow aloe vera. X says he is, so Bubble informs him that aloe vera can't grow in the biome they are in, due to too little sun. Later, X asks Bubble how she knows so much about aloe vera. Bubble explains that she uses it to keep her skin moist and not pop, and demonstrates by rubbing some on herself. X says he's happy to hear that it works for her. When Lollipop demands an answer from X, Bubble tells X he doesn't have to answer unless he's comfortable. X says he can, but just needed to figure out how to word it.
Clock[]
In "Enter the Exit", X is saddened when Clock interrupts him just as he was about to announce the challenge.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", X and Four assign Clock with the task of cleaning all of the dirty dishes.
In "Outbreak At Stake", X is out on a Kitchen Bonding Retreat with Four and Clock.
In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", after Two sent Clock to the elimination area, X and Four got very angry. Four called Clock his and X's friend and stated that everyone should "pay" for the fact that their friend was no longer with them. After that, X started smashing the windows of the hotel, and Four began to zap TPOT contestants.
Cloudy[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", after X makes the mistake of reading the votes backwards, Cloudy tells him it's okay and that everyone makes mistakes.
In "Enter The Exit", X talks to Cloudy because he is sad that Balloony is dead. X tells him that he will be safe before the elimination starts to make him feel better.
Coiny[]
In "X Marks the Spot", when Coiny suggests gluing X to the ground to stop Four Colored Team from taking him, X simply says "That doesn't sound fun".
CRT[]
In "Uprooting Everything", CRT requests X to use his magic on them, to help them survive inside of the World's Largest Oven. X says he doesn't know who they are but snaps his fingers to help them anyway.
David[]
In "Enter The Exit", Four is not available to take David to EXIT, X tells David to go "be eliminated" until Four comes back. David yells "No!" and runs away from X. X manages to catch David and shoves him inside his head.
Donut[]

Eggy[]
In "X Marks the Spot", when Pin tells Teardrop that she'd much rather have X host their show, Eggy agrees with Pin, as she points out that X is the nicest out of the three hosts that she's seen. However, X doesn't respond to Eggy's praise.
Eraser[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", after X accidentally reads the votes backwards, Eraser thought X did it on purpose as an April Fools prank.
Fanny[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", when Fanny says she'd hate to live in a world where recovery is impossible, Four and X say "too bad".
In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Fanny demands that Four recover Bubble, but X was disguised as Four and wasn't able to do so.
Firey[]
In "A Taste of Space", he subtracts points from Firey's team when he only said the word rockets.
In "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", X catches Firey in the act of returning the diary and then leaves to tell Four that he stole it.
In "Chapter Complete", X takes away Firey and Leafy's boat's propeller and replied they needed for something.
Flower[]
In "A Taste of Space", Flower notices X burning and asks if he's OK. X continues screaming, so Flower dismisses X's problem since he didn't say no. When Flower starts burning, she tells X to water her. In the stinger, X has made Flower his garden. She asks how long she'll have to stay there, X says 2.5 to 3 weeks should do the job.
In "Let's Raid The Warehouse", Flower is still forced to stay in the pot, despite it being slightly more than 3 weeks between the episodes. X also uses Flower to test his satisfaction detector.
In "Fashion For Your Face!", X is kicked by Flower for calling her sweaters ugly.
In "Uprooting Everything", Flower asks if she's the last one safe. X says she's already safe and she says knows and just liked hearing it.
In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", X hosts some of the challenges for Flower, instructing her what to do.
Four[]

Fries[]
In "Questions Answered" and "This Episode Is About Basketball", the inside of Fries was the spot X chose to hide in.
Gaty[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", when X appears out of Fries, Gaty asks X that he was there the whole time.
Gelatin[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", X has a part of his body bitten by Gelatin and is revealed to be hiding in Fries by him.
In "The Game Has Changed", Gelatin asks X if there's anything he likes to figure out what to use for his party. X says he likes baskets. Gelatin asks if he likes anything else, but X just scoots away quietly.
In "The Hidden Contestant", Gelatin tells X if they have a bit of a bond since he threw a party for him. X responds that lots of people throw parties for him and that he's going to one in an hour. Gelatin says "Oh" in response and then asks if X could do him a favor and snap Profily to the BRB. X says he will if Gelatin shows proof that Profily got the least votes. Gelatin arrives back to X with a fake chart that shows Profily got the least votes. X immediately snaps Profily to the BRB and thanks Gelatin for letting them know.
In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", when X asks what just happened, Gelatin tells them that they ate blue dirt and that it wasn't good. X angrily responds that they were referring to Four sinking into the earth.
In "SOS (Save Our Show)", Gelatin tells X that the Announcer blew the show's budget and that they need their help saving the show, but X just asks what's the point when Four is gone.
In "Chapter Complete", Gelatin convinces everyone to help X get Four back. X also tells him to bring the BFB. While using the FreeSmart SuperVan and steam train to follow Four, X explains Four's connection to BFDI and the BFDI prize to Gelatin and Lollipop. X takes offense to Gelatin calling Four everyone's favorite alien friend, so Gelatin corrects himself to say one of their favorite alien friends. When Gelatin calls out Four for his cruel behavior towards the contestants, X looks at him with a forlorn expression.
Grassy[]
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", X has his kitchen key stolen by Grassy.
Ice Cube[]
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", X convinces Four that it wouldn't hurt if Ice Cube watched Team Ice Cube's Cake at Stake.
Leafy[]
In "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", X tells Leafy that he wasn't interested in being the courtroom and used her and Firey as an excuse to leave.
In "Fashion For Your Face!", after being declared safe, Leafy asks X where Four is. X points Four out to everyone, trapped in a cage on a mountain.
In "Uprooting Everything", when giving Leafy her prize for being safe, X calls her "Little Leafy Lulu". After making it so the contestants can survive inside the oven, Leafy thanks X and says he's always looking out for the contestants. X then makes it so CRT can survive in the oven and Leafy says X is always looking out for the contestants and random strangers, and calls him a good host.
In "Chapter Complete", X takes away Firey and Leafy's boat's propeller and replied they needed for something.
Liy[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", when X appears, Liy squishes him.
In "Fortunate Ben", when Liy is eliminated, X says "Hi Pie, bye Liy!".
Lollipop[]
In "How Loe Can You Grow?", after getting an answer from Bubble, Lollipop demands X must give an answer. Specifically on why he's growing aloe vera. X whispers why to Lollipop and his answer makes her feel sympathetic. She then says she'll avenge him.
In "Chapter Complete", when X asks everyone for help, Lollipop mentions how she thought she would avenge him for something, but X says that doesn't matter and that they can consider the score even if she helps him get Four back. While using the FreeSmart SuperVan and steam train to follow Four, X explains Four's connection to BFDI and the BFDI prize to Gelatin and Lollipop.
Loser[]
In "A Taste of Space", when Loser tries suggesting an idea, X subtracts points from his team.
Nickel[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", X tells Nickel to pay more attention when Nickel seems shocked that they were supposed to throw more than one ball. Nickel tells X that he's kinda hard to follow and X just says oh.
Pen[]
In "Today's Very Special Episode", X calls Pen's drawing the worst one yet.
In "Fortunate Ben", X tells Pen that he's an insult to the entire art community and that the entire world would rejoice if he never touched another piece of paper. X later tells Pen that he's the first lowest person who's name doesn't start with a B.
Pencil[]
In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", X seemed to be angry at Pencil for assuming she was safe over Fanny.
Pie[]
In "Fortunate Ben", when Pie is safe from elimination, X says "Hi Pie, bye Liy!"
In "Enter the Exit", Pie forces X's body to take the shape of a four.
Pin[]
In "Enter the Exit", the cake X uses for Cake at Stake was prepared by Pin, who X calls really talented.
In "X Marks the Spot", Pin intercepts Teardrop's attempt to deliver X to Four, and says that she would much rather have X host their show. Pin throws X into orange paint in an attempt to prevent them from being stolen.
Profily[]
In "Chapter Complete", Profily greets X and comments on how he hasn't moved from his spot in a couple of months and invites him to join the rest of them in the TV Studio, but X refuses. He also tells Profily that this exact spot was where Four merged with the desert. Profily decides to sit with him, and X angrily tells them thank you. After the Cake at Stake, Profily once again greets X and asks him to explain what happened to Four. X explains how Four has been hosting 43 seasons in his head. Profily is curious about their ranking in the most recent one, X tells them they weren't in the season. Profily figures that X must mean that they just weren't in the final two, and X decides to go along with it. The two then discuss the reasons for Four's leave, and the two realize that Four would come back if they were to show him they cared about him. Profily hugs a four-shaped cactus to start, and X recovers them after they die because of it. When Four leaves the desert, X rushes over to them and asks what happened, to which they explain that Four headed to the Pillary Ruins.
Puffball[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", when Puffball brings a basket to X, X says "Hey, you spilled the air out of my basket. Oh well, that's fine."
Purple Face[]
In "Uprooting Everything", X accepts Purple Face as his "co-co-host".
In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", X attempts to recover Purple Face but snaps him out of existence when he comes back wrong. X tries to get Four to recover Purple Face but Four says he must learn to do it. Later, X manages to recover Purple Face successfully.
In "Chapter Complete", X can be seen planning a possible season 6 with Purple Face, along with Four and the Announcer.
Robot Flower[]
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", X gets hit in the face by Robot Flower, who was swung by Bell. He says "Ow" in response and starts floating.
Saw[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Saw gives X his basket directly.
Snowball[]
In "This Episode is About Basketball", Snowball throws a ball to the basket, but he misses and it breaks the basket, causing it to fall and hit the buzzer. X goes over to declare iance safe, but he notices this and questions Snowball's strategy. Snowball gets angry and makes a fist at X. Scared, X calls them safe anyway.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", X gets shoved out of the way by Snowball, who just stole some of their food. X immediately calls out to Four to stop him.
Stapy[]
In "Enter the Exit", when X wanted David to be eliminated, X says that Stapy is a good role model.
Taco[]
In "A Taste of Space", when Taco tells X to stop standing in the sun if he doesn't want to burn, X subtracts two points from the Have Nots for being mean. Taco later shows that her team put some clouds in the sky, this makes X especially angry since there's not enough sunlight, so he subtracts 8,546 points from her team.
Teardrop[]
"And now you don't even CARE!?"
In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", the 16th challenge is to not quit for TPOT. Teardrop shakes her head, and X misinterpreted this as her refusing to stay. Teardrop then flutters her arms visibly distressed, causing X to believe she doesn't care, and he kills her by shooting lasers out of his eyes. X recovers Teardrop to restart the competition. When she comes back to the 16th challenge, it appears that a repeat would ensue, although in the next scene X catches on fire for the 20th challenge.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", X happily greets Teardrop on the hotel roof and gives her the chocolate ball back, asking how it got there in the first place. In the stinger, X doesn't hesitate at zapping Teardrop, despite them having the most positive relationship out of the TPOT contestants.
Tennis Ball[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", when X is revealed to have been with the contestants the whole time, Tennis Ball says he thought they used him to multiply Four and Zero.
X frowning after Tennis Ball accidentally calls him stupid over the Mutual Mind Reader
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Tennis Ball accidentally calls X stupid by the Mutual Mind Reader, which makes him sad.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Tennis Ball makes noises to scare X and it actually works at terrifying them.
Two[]
In "The Escape from Four", after leaving Four, X just stands near Two with a neutral expression.
In "X Marks the Spot", X plays patty cake with Two because they're best buds according to Firey. After X is taken back to BFB, Two calls him a "silly boy" and says that they enjoyed their time together.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", despite the two being best buds, X does not allow Two to have any of their food and bites their arm when they try to get some. Two tells X and Four that they can play for five minutes, so they both start hovering in the air.
Woody[]
In "Enter the Exit", when X asks the safe members of Beep if they are scared about who is leaving, Woody just moans.
In "A Taste of Space", when Woody releases a sigh of relief, X subtracts points from Woody's team for sighing.
Everyone[]
In "Enter the Exit", when some of the contestants are arguing, X calls for their attention so he could announce the 10th challenge.
In "How Loe Can You Grow?", he has all of the remaining contestants gather around for an announcement regarding his aloe vera.
In "The Game Has Changed", X announces the new stage in the game and congratulates the final 7 for making it so far.
In "Uprooting Everything", when announcing Cake at Stake, X says "Time for Cake at Stake, my little contestants of joy". When they enter the World's Largest Oven, X uses magic to keep the contestants at the oven's temperature, so they don't burn to death.
In "Chapter Complete", X gets some of the contestants to help him bring Four back. They are reluctant at first, so X begs that if they won't do it for Four then for him.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", X zaps all of the contestants who try to steal their food.

In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", X notifies Leafy and Nickel that they are missing a team member and that Four won't like that.
In "Fortunate Ben", X thanks the ground for catching Beep.
In "Enter the Exit", X hosts their Cake at Stake.
The Losers![]
In "Today's Very Special Episode", the team conceals X in a papier-mache statue, only for it to be ranked second to last. He can be heard yelling "Help!"
A Better Name Than That[]
In "Four Goes Too Far", X was almost used by A Better Name Than That to multiply Four. In "This Episode Is About Basketball", it's revealed that X ran away.
Have Cots[]
In "Fashion For Your Face!", X asks the Have Cots why they're wearing ugly sweaters during Cake at Stake.
