The Flag of Yoyleland is a flag and design that is commonly seen on flag poles placed around the streets of Yoyle City. The design on the flag is presumably supposed to represent Yoyle City and it's inhabitants before the city became abandoned as most city/country flags do.
Appearance[]
The flag consists of a white vertical pall in the shape of a Y meant to represent the name of the land, surrounded by a yellow triangle to the top likely meant to represent the yellow sky in Yoyleland, there is a blue quadrilateral to the left likely meant to represent the water surrounding the land and there is a purple quadrilateral to the right likely meant to represent the purple grass that seems unique to the land.
There is an alternate design for the flag which has a shorter width used as a purchasable flag on Jacknjellify's RedBubble however it is unknown if this flag canonically exists within the BFDI universe or within Yoyle City.
There is another flag within Yoyleland that is used for the beginning of Yoyle Tower on the summit of Yoyle Mountain meant to point people upwards to the top of the tower to imply that it was the real summit, it is a simple blue square flag with the text "SUMMIT" at the bottom and a large arrow that points upwards.

Battle for Dream Island Again[]
The flag first appears during the 3D montage of panning around the model of Yoyle City in "The Long-lost Yoyle City", during which the flag can be seen flying on poles next to houses on the streets of Yoyle City. Later once FreeSmart climb the Yoyle Tower, all along the obstacle course attached to the tower there are more flags flying. They can be seen once again when W.O.A.H. Bunch also traverse the obstacle course. The Summit flag also appears attached to the bottom of the pole that makes up the Yoyle Tower, when first seen the arrow that points upwards at the supposed true summit is hidden barely offscreen but when FreeSmart and W.O.A.H. Bunch arrive and start questioning where Firey Speaker Box is he flies down and reveals the rest of the flag stating that he will be waiting at the top of the tower.
IDFB[]
The flag makes a second much smaller appearance in the background of multiple shots within Yoyle City in "Welcome Back". It can be best seen during the scene of Pencil and Book walking down the street to the Hand-powered Recovery Center while talking about Match but it is also barely visible during various panning shots.
Trivia[]
- This is the only flag seen in the BFDI franchise despite the existence of other notable lands
- This could imply that whichever species lived in the land only lived in Yoyleland. Although it could just be the case that the other lands didn't have flags.
- Interestingly, the flag actually depicts a standard English alphabet "Y", despite the existence of the Yoylese alphabet.
- However the English alphabet is shown to be used in Yoyleland as seen on and in the Science Museum.
