Fries has a “No-Nonsense” type of attitude.
This page is about the relationships and interactions between Fries and the other characters.
Fries almost always appears to come off as grumpy, stubborn, serious and even sometimes mean. He can be demanding at times and looks down on anyone who jokes around or is lazy. He's also been shown to not really like characters who are too quiet or meek.
Barf Bag[]
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫" he talks to Barf Bag on his phone to gossip to her about the events that had just happened and she is happy to hear Fries "spill the beans" he also refers to her as his BFF and she refers to him as her bestie as well. However due to their lack of interactions in Battle for BFB and Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two it is unknown in they are still friends.
Bell[]
In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", Bell tells Fries that he doesn't have to be so pushy after he tells Puffball to spin their swing around.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", when Bell asks Fries about his irritable and what could be the urgency, Fries says the urgency is because Four and X are about to announce the next contest. Fries explains that they always start with X mysteriously floating into the air. Fries, Eraser, and Bell all watch Four and X patiently.
Black Hole[]
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Fries notices Black Hole sucking up his team's stack and angrily asks what he's doing.

Book[]

In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", he backs away from Book because he doesn't like her cover. This leads to a slap fight between the two involving them both trying to eat bits of each other.
In "Get Digging", Book tells Fries that she can't believe Coiny and Pin forced Teardrop on their team. Fries doesn't care as he didn't think Teardrop was really a leader anyway.
In "Airplanes in the Night Sky", Fries briefly teams up with Coiny to shut off Book's beacon. Later, Book offers Needle and Fries a lift to the final tower. Fries refuses the offer, and shines a spotlight into Book's eyes, blinding her and making her crash into the tower.
Bracelety[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Fries tells "Ringy" that he isn't a fan of Ice Cube and that she's a mere follower and that followers never win, causing Bracelety to say that she hates him.
Cake[]
In "Fishes and Dishes", when Fries asks how it’s possible for Just Not to be flying into the sky, Cake responds that anything is possible with the power of "misdefinition".
Cloudy[]
In "Gardening Zero", when Cloudy says that water contestants have it hard, Fries says that it is probably because he, along with Ice Cube, evaporate too easily.
Coiny[]

In “Insectophobe’s Nightmare 4”, Coiny spearheads the attack on Fries, getting everybody to target him. When everybody flees from Flower’s So-Ha Fashion Store, he chases him down with Bomby, but Fries manages to escape.
In "Spore Day", Coiny and Fries, along with Pencil, are put on The Hearts team. After Fries steals the shrink ray from Tennis Ball and shrinks Pencil too much with it, Coiny scolds him about it, later they are seen chasing Tennis Ball, threatening to murder him. When the birdhouse is shrunken down and it falls into the water droplet, Coiny tells Fries to try to unshrink the birdhouse with their Growth Ray, this attempt fails, and they decide to shrink themselves into the droplet.
In "Respect to the Wicked", Fries begins searching for the W.O.A.H Bunch's trinket by pulling dirt from under the grass and asking Coiny after each clump if that was his dirt cake, to which Coiny replies that he needs to taste each one to find out. Later in the episode, Coiny accidentally tears a hole in Fries' head while chasing the FreeSmart SuperVan. Coiny quickly apologizes and points out that Fries is glowing, which he mistakes for a compliment, then Coiny asks Fries what he's doing down there. Fries explains that he is looking for the dirt cake, causing Coiny to respond that the dirt cake is not in a cave and mocks him, saddening Fries.
In "Airplanes in the Night Sky", Fries refuses to team up with Tennis Ball against Coiny, but still works against him independently throughout the challenge. The two have a jousting match on the wooden tower, though they pause to shut off Book's beacon. Later, as Coiny is still reeling from being abandoned by Pin, Fries stomps on his hand and sends him falling into the forest.
In "Welcome Back", when Coiny attempts to eat a Grotato plant, Fries slaps his hand and tells him to be more patient. Coiny tells Fries that he needs to calm down and to take a deep-fried breath. Fries is not amused by this joke. Later, Coiny approaches Fries with some boiling frying oil so they can try deep-fried breaths. Fries refuses to participate and tells Coiny to stop as he begins to take the deep-fried breaths in horror.
In "Bottle For Dream Island", Fries tells Coiny to get back to work and help the other eliminated contestants break down the exit door and escape the elimination space. Coiny blows a raspberry at him, which he considers "gross".
David[]
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Fries says that Davids are the most annoying creatures he has ever laid his eyes upon as Team No-Name is passing through Davidland. This is followed by an "Aw seriously?" from all the Davids as he had provoked them.
Eraser[]

In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Eraser attempts to stop Fries from folding Foldy back to normal. Fries responds saying he's aware of his fear of pentagons but that there is a lot of things wrong with what he just said.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", when Eraser says that Fries is right about Four and X getting ready to announce the contest, Fries smiles. They both wait patiently with Bell for X to float into the air and are shocked when X does the opposite and goes underground.
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Eraser joins Are You Okay since Fries is joining it too, as he's the "free food", which turns Fries' smirk into a subtle frown.
Evil Leafy[]
In "No More Snow!", in order to get their teammates back, Fries and Puffball follow Evil Leafy as she chases Ruby and Book.
In "Well Rested", Fries' team spends most of the challenge running and hiding from Evil Leafy in a hotel.
In "Respect to the Wicked", Fries gets pretty frustrated when Evil Leafy interrupts his digging. Then he claims to Coiny that him and Evil leafy are "Best Friends" before she possesses him.
In "Start the Shift", Fries is revealed to have somehow acquired Evil Leafy's phone number, which he calls in an attempt to have her possess him, so that he can turn red and look like his normal self for the challenge. He appears to still consider her a friend despite her possessing him last episode, offering to hang out and grab a bite to eat. However (assuming the phone number even is Evil Leafy's) she immediately hangs up on him, much to his disappointment. She does end up possessing him incidentally later on.
Fanny[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Fanny says that she hates Fries. She hates everything, however, so it is not that meaningful.
In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Fries curiously asks how Fanny figured out who the impostor on her team was.
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", when Fanny tells the rest of the contestants that Four has betrayed their trust by adding back the BFDI as a prize when he had revoked it from them, Fries compliments her, telling her that she has the spirit of a leader, but also asks if Two was any better, due to how long they were taking to start their show.
Firey[]
In "No More Snow!", when Puffball explains that Firey and Gelatin tied their legs together and fell off, Fries says it seems like the type of thing they would do.
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Fries is mildly annoyed when Gelatin and Firey tie their legs together and almost fall off Puffball, even stating they should kick them off their team as soon as they can.
In "Well Rested", when Firey spends too much time celebrating over winning the prize, Fries tells him to hurry up and spin the prize wheel. Firey blames Fries for Rocky switching off their team because he said "whatever". Fries doesn't care and says that Rocky was dead weight.
In Start the Shift, Fries is mad they got Firey as a host over Balloony.
In "Welcome Back", Fries states that some of his fries were burned by Firey.
Firey Jr.[]
In "Today's Very Special Episode", when Firey Jr. realizes Bracelety's name isn't Ringy, Fries agrees and says, "Who woulda guessed?".
Firey Speaker Box[]
In "Get in the Van", when the Firey Speaker Box announces the total number of votes, Fries tells him to get to the important stuff already.
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Fries screams when he appears out of no where.
In "Well Rested", when Firey Speaker Box asks the contestants why they aren't eating their cake, Fries gestures at Tennis Ball's dead body, but the speaker box cuts him off to reveal the bottom 2.
Flower[]

In “Lots of Mud”, Fries claims that Flower's haircut looks literally horrifying, this frustrates her as she thought it looked beautiful and makes her go against FreeSmart in a chase. This leads to Fries unlocking and ripping two of her petals while the chase is still going. Flower feels unamused of this and throws Team No-Name and Pin into a punishment room as a consequence, she claims that if they can't do the time, they can't do the crime either.
In “Insectophobe’s Nightmare 4”, Fries uses a vacuum to make Flower’s store foggy. Flower demands that Fries stops, but Fries cheekily responds by saying “be a better host and I’ll stop”, which reminds Flower that she’s the host.
In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", Flower explains to Fries that sound can come in to the jawbreakers but it can't come out, which confuses Fries. Later, Flower adjusts a jawbreaker piece that Ruby placed on Fries' face.
Foldy[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Fries is angry at Foldy and Stapy for playing rock, paper, scissors, in the middle of the contest. When Foldy volunteers to help, because she is light, Fries throws her towards their basket three times until she's shredded by the baskets propeller, much to his horror.
In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", Fries yells at Four, demanding for Foldy to be revived.

In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Fries reluctantly decides to fold Foldy back to normal after she is unfolded by Ruby. He complains that the process is extremely difficult.
In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Fries stops Foldy from turning in the fake emeralds because he felt that Four would feel cheated (she handed them in anyway).
Four[]
In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", Fries yells at Four to get Foldy back.
In "Fortunate Ben", Fries asks Four if he can just disable Puffball instead of obliterating her.
In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", when Four and X switch bodies, Fries demands to know what's going on.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Fries and Eraser had gotten to know Four and X so well that they both anticipated exactly what the two hosts would both do, based on previous episodes, before announcing the contest.
In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Fries at first didn't want to turn in the cheap, plastic, green toys that resemble emeralds because he didn't think Four would want to be cheated. Fries screams when Four accuses Free Food of committing forgery, but then becomes unimpressed when Four uses word play to change "forgery" to "for Dream Island".
Gelatin[]
- Main article: Fries and Gelatin
Fries and Gelatin are shown to have a very on and off friendship as Gelatin frequently annoys Fries.
Golf Ball[]
- Main article: Fries and Golf Ball
Ice Cube[]
In “Taste the Sweetness”, he’s the only person to not switch to The Beautiful Face Devotion Institute, not seeming very amused over Ice Cube’s beautiful face.
In “Start the Shift”, after spinning the prize wheel, Ice Cube states that he can either choose immunity to the final six or remove the existence of another contestant. Fries quickly picks the former option, dissapointing her who calls Fries' choice “boring”.
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Fries states that he always thought Ice Cube was too meek, but that she is good at negotiation after all.
In "Gardening Zero", when Cloudy says that water contestants have it hard, Fries says that it is because he, along with Ice Cube, evaporate too easily.
Leafy[]
During the stinger of "Welcome Back", Leafy is seen behind a yoylebush ready to attack either Fries or Coiny. However, she changes her mind and retreats after Coiny starts taking deep fried breaths.
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", when Leafy butts into a conversation Fries was in by saying she loves everyone, Fries interrupts and tells her she's not helping, angering Leafy.
Lollipop[]

In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Fries angrily points that not only is Lollipop not on his team, but despite her wanting to see Yellow Face's ad, she is also trying to sell the exact opposite product as Yellow Face. He is left in shock when Lollipop retorts back at him, eats one of his fries, and walks away.
Loser[]
In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", Fries states that Loser's elimination was a very painful moment for everyone.
Marker[]

"No, Marker!"
In "Four Goes Too Far", Fries stops Marker from looking at Pen and getting the twinkle from him after he attempts to entice him with dirt.
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", Fries tells Marker he can stop digging after he's already won the contest for them.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", he tells Marker, Bell, and Lollipop to quit wasting time on Yellow Face's ad due to Four and X getting ready to announce the contest.
In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Fries at first doesn't allow his team to turn in the fake emeralds because he feels that Four would feel cheated, but Marker makes a point that Four would be fine with trash based on a quote Four said over a year ago. Fries figures that Marker is right and decides to turn them in.
Match[]
In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", Fries is complimented by Match when she sees him wearing a jawbreaker on his face.
Needle[]
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", Fries facepalms when Needle switches to W.O.A.H. Bunch to avoid being called Needy three times.
In "Taste the Sweetness", when Needle finds out that Fries is using Bomby, she gets mad and then Fries orders her to dig for him, calling her "Needy". Needle slaps him in response, and Fries puts the shovel on her hand, making her a digger.
In "Start the Shift", when Needle offers to team with Fries, he is first perplexed by her talking to him and then disgusted by her offer. However, for some reason he agrees anyway, and the two form FriesMart. Fries is not especially friendly to Needle throughout the episode, completely ignoring her as she tells him of her troubles and telling her to focus on the challenge. He does occasionally seem to get on with her, such as when he recovers her and enthusiastically tells her to come find Evil Leafy with him, or when he commends her on "finding" Pencil's Leafy Detector. It is also notable that Fries telling her to focus on the challenge is entirely for her benefit, as he is immune for the episode, so he seems at least to want to help her as a teammate.
In "Airplanes in the Night Sky", Fries is desperate for Needle to get out so they don't have to be on the same team anymore, and is devastated when she is declared safe. He pleads with Tennis Ball to use his Disbandment Token on FriesMart, and when he doesn't, Fries splits up with Needle anyway. He explains that he doesn't like working with anyone. However, he rewards her for helping him set up his business, he rewards her with a spoon, which she uses to rip half of his head off. Thus, he advises Tennis Ball not to team up with her. Later, he starts throwing pieces of mouldy fry at her to stop her from climbing the lighthouse, though she dodges most of them until he runs out. He then attacks her with steak and a shovel, which she uses to kill him. He later returns the favor. Near the end, the two are stuck on one of the towers together, and Fries sabotages Book's attempt to help them because he finds it funny. He then uses Needle, who is entangled in a grappling hook, to escape the tower, though ends up dying in the process. He ends up knocking Needle out of the race by stomping on Coiny's hand as Needle dangles from the tower holding onto him.
Nickel[]
In “Spore Day”, he tried to steal Fries' shrink ray for his team and failed at doing so, returning with a square-shaped hole in the middle of his face. Fries also attempts to shield himself from the shrink rays with Nickel later in the episode, this backfires as Nickel still has a hole to let it pass.
In “Respect to the Wicked”, after being recovered, he expresses his dismay over the loss of his square hole, Fries states that he can help with it and pushes the middle of his face with a finger. This forms a triangular hole and Nickel bites Fries' arm out of furiosity, he also claims to not feel happy with this hole not being squared.
He prays for his chunk to never get lost before the challenge, surprising Fries who refuses to believe this to be the most prized possession Nickel has ever gotten, he then ask to Fries what's his trinket and he pulls a balloon that he blows as his trinket to reply. Throughout the challenge, Nickel makes the decision to go after the balloon, several attempts are taken for him to reach it and when he arrives to, he gets attached to several other balloons, even going through a series of thunderstorms. To no one's knowledge, he manages to control its power to tag his balloon and send an electric shock at Fries, this instantly kills him the moment he was about to tag his chunk on Tennis Ball's back.
In "Seasonal Shift", when Nickel and Tennis Ball are sent forward in time by the Yoylite, Fries says "Finally, those two are gone!"
In "Airplanes in the Night Sky", Fries is devastated when Nickel is eliminated, but this is only because it means Needle is still in the game.
In "Fishes and Dishes", Fries tells Puffball to attack Just Not, and she bites onto Nickel.
Pen[]
In "Four Goes Too Far", Fries and the rest of Free Food avoid looking at Pen, who has the twinkle.
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", when Pen questions what Eraser means by saying Blocky left them, Fries clarifies that he meant that Blocky went to stay with Four to battle for A BFB, seemingly irritated that Pen forgot.
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", when Pen jumps on the stack of blocks as Black Hole is sucking them up, Fries says "Pen! Are you crazy?".
Pencil[]
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", when Fries yells at Teardrop's corpse to spin the wheel, Pencil points out that she's dead and then points out how Fries is no longer dead. Fries responds by saying that Gelatin gave him a dose of anti-poison. Later, when Pencil asks Fries who he ate, he meekly responds with "Spongy".
Pillow[]
In "Fishes and Dishes", as Fries and Puffball try to sabotage Just Not, Pillow almost blows them up by throwing Bomby at them and knocks Fries off of Puffball by throwing Price Tag at him.
Pin[]

In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", he roots for Pin to switch to the other team.
In "Get Digging", Fries backs away when Pin asks if anyone wants to switch to their team.
In "Get in the Van", Fries jumps over a knife, thrown by Pin, that was meant to kill Leafy.
In "Respect to the Wicked", when Pin calls a bioluminescent Fries a "hideous beast", he asks if she finally looked in a mirror.
In "Airplanes in the Night Sky" Pin tries to warn Fries about Tennis Ball bouncing down the stairs, but he misunderstands and tells her to worry about herself. He later tries to sabotage Pin by throwing a drill at her, but she catches it, much to his shock.
In "Welcome Back", Fries is mildly annoyed by Pin when she tries to talk to him while he plants grotato seeds.
Price Tag[]
In "Fishes and Dishes", Fries falls to his death after having Price Tag thrown at him, knocking him off of Puffball.
Puffball[]
- Main article: Fries and Puffball
Rocky[]
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Fries recovers Rocky three times, although he gets annoyed by his repeated deaths.
In "Well Rested", Fries shows apathy towards Rocky switching to W.O.A.H. Bunch, calling him "dead weight" for his team.
Ruby[]

In "Airplanes in the Night Sky", Ruby explains the self-recovery effects of Yoylite to Fries, since she had experienced them herself.
In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", Fries tells Ruby to stop playing with what he thinks are poppers when they are just pieces of jawbreakers. Later, Ruby places a jawbreaker on his face saying it looks pretty on him.
Stapy[]

In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Fries is angry at Foldy and Stapy for playing rock, paper, scissors in the middle of the contest. Fries ends up angering Stapy when he accidentally kills her, and he gives an awkward apologetic look.
In "Questions Answered", Fries is upset with Stapy for not answering a question he knew the answer to. Later, after Stapy's cheating has won for their team, Fries says "good job" to him.
Spongy[]
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", due to the side effects of anti-poison, Fries has eaten Spongy, which he seems rather embarrassed about.
Taco[]
In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", Fries can be seen standing next to Taco's dead body, along with Fanny, likely out of shock or concern.
Teardrop[]
In "Get Digging", Fries doesn't care about Coiny and Pin taking Teardrop off their team, stating that Teardrop wasn't much of a leader anyway.
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", he yells at Teardrop's corpse, telling her to spin the wheel for her prize.
Tennis Ball[]

Main article: Fries and Tennis Ball
TV[]
In "Get Digging", Fries and Gelatin both hate TV's first Cake at Stake song. TV gives it another try, only for Fries to yell it's not any better.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", Fries tells TV that his new Cake at Stake song is better than this last attempt.
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Fries is greatly annoyed by the extremely loud ringing sound TV makes when he announces that Teardrop is eliminated.

In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", as Fries is asking for a new Cake at Stake song from Two, TV nods his screen in agreement.
In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Fries tells TV that he really admires his tutorials on how to make the chairs for the roller coaster that his team is making. He thanks TV for helping him and tells everyone to chant his name. This makes TV very happy.
In "Gardening Zero", Fries can be seen leaning on TV when Golf Ball is going to see which biome Are You Okay is going to and when his team is first seen at Davidland.
In "Fishes and Dishes", Fries is the first person who noticed that TV was missing from their team.
Two[]
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Fries says that Two isn't much better compared to Four since they have been waiting for a long time to start competing. Two suddenly appears out of nowhere, making Fries scream. Two then announces Cake at Stake from the top of a building, with Fries yelling back "What?" When Two announces a challenge rule from the building, Fries yells "Seriously! We can't hear you when you're up there!" At the end of the episode, Fries yells at Two because they didn't say said rule loud enough.
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Fries asks Two if they're ever going to get a new Cake at Stake song. Two admits that would be cool, but casually dismisses the thought by continuing Cake at Stake.
In "Gardening Zero", Fries tells Two to spit out the gumball they are eating as it, saying they should be acting as a more respectable host. Later, when Fries tells Cloudy and Ice Cube that they evaporate too easily, Two tells him that he is made with a lot of oil, which isn't much better.
X[]
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", it's revealed that X was hiding inside Fries after Four was multiplied with Donut. Fries doesn't have much of a reaction to this however.
They start off by waiting for X to mysteriously float, only to be shocked when he instead goes underground.
In "X Marks the Spot", Fries cheers when X is glued to the ground so he'd be able to continue as their host.
Yellow Face[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", when Yellow Face manages to get several contestants to join his team at once, Fries tells him he has amazing skills of persuasion and joins his team with Puffball.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Fries tells Yellow Face that they don't have time for him to do an ad.
Viewers[]
In "Taste the Sweetness", in the stinger, Fries tells the viewers to start digging for BFDIA 11.
In "🥚", again in the stinger, Fries doesn't care who gets to be the new host, so he lets the voters decide instead.
Everyone[]
In "The Escape from Four", Fries assists in trying to help free the eliminated contestants from Four.
Teams[]
W.O.A.H. Bunch[]
In "Get Digging", numerous clones of Fries laugh as the W.O.A.H. Bunch walks to the Cake at Stake area.
The S![]
In "Fishes and Dishes", Fries and Puffball hand The S! a shovel, suggesting that they dig under the canal. To their surprise, the team actually does it.
Just Not[]
In "Fishes and Dishes", Fries and Puffball attack Just Not when they see the team flying into the sky with their items. They later appear again, referring to themselves as their biggest foes yet.
Diggers[]
In "Get Digging", Fries tells Bomby, Dora, Nickel, Rocky, and Yellow Face to get digging for ingredients. In the stinger ending of the same episode, he tells them they can stop.
In "Taste the Sweetness," Fries again tells Bomby to dig for ingredients for the ice cream. Though Bomby originally refused, calling himself an independent thinker, Fries still presisted. When Needle came to stop him, he ordered her to do the same after putting a shovel in her hand.
