The funny plant is an extinct type of flower that was the main focus of the challenge in "Gardening Zero".
Description[]
The funny plants were a species of plants in Goiky. They were originally an endangered species with only 7 specimens left before they went extinct due to the contestants mishandling them and the Quasar shooting its beam at The S!'s plant.
Funny plants are able to grow in multiple biomes, even if the conditions don't allow for their survival. A Funny Plant that spawns in Space stays in a pod, and if it spawns in the real world it stays in a plant pot.
Each funny plant has three lives; once they are depleted, the plant dies. Funny plants are fragile, as they can deplete a life through very simple interactions such as touching bubble gum, or getting Barf Bag's vomit or Bottle's "soggy burrito concoction" thrown on them. Despite this, they are able to survive lightning; however, it drains a significant amount of their health.
In "Fishes and Dishes", despite there supposedly being only 7 funny plants remaining, multiple plants are shown in a montage of the contestants killing them.
Appearance[]
The funny plants were seen to have pink and purple petals, with a bluish green stem and leaves at the bottom. Its real-life equivalent is represented by an orchid with pink petals inside of a pot.
Role[]
In "The Four is Lava", Saw's happy thought is of her smelling a funny plant to remove 8-Ball's Fumes. In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Saw is seen smelling the funny plant; this removes 8-Ball's fumes and extinguishes her urges to yell "EIGHT". In "Gardening Zero", The contest was to protect them. At the end of the episode, the species became extinct.

- In the funny plant's debut, its leaves are not colored in.
- In The Real World, the Funny Plant is represented by a Moth Orchid.
- It is likely that the Funny Plant can survive with minimal sunlight, as it is capable of growing in Yoyleland, where potatoes cannot grow due to little sunlight.
- This would make it the second known plant with this property after Grotatoes.
