Gold is one of Ruby's sisters and is one of 36 contestants in ABCDEFG who then later made an appearance in the BFDI series in "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4".
Appearance[]
Gold is a non-translucent and non-reflective gold gem that has a round brilliant gemstone cut similar to Ruby but she is instead colored orange.

Personality[]
During her pose when her name is called out Gold is seen eating a chunk of herself, showing that she is a cannibal, and some of the actions she does throughout the episode as she acts like Ruby show her questioning Needle so it could possibly show that Gold isn't that smart and doesn't think things through.
Weaknesses[]
- Weak body and edibility: The fact that Gold is able to rip a chunk of themselves off and the fact she attempts to eat it shows that Gold's body is rather physically weak and is able to be consumed.

Battle for Dream Island[]
In "The Reveal", she appears during the recommended characters crowd scene for that episode being recommended by SS7272. She is seen in a long panning shot of all the recommended characters with her name appearing in a black box at the bottom of the screen.
In "Return of the Hang Glider", she is seen with all the other recommended characters from season 1 during the panning scene on the bleachers watching the last Cake at Stake of the season. She is seen with the episode 17 recommended characters. She is part of the recommended character "Every Recommended Character" recommended by marioluigi0128 in the previous episode.
Battle for Dream Island Again[]
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", one of the challenges on the challenge wheel is "Find all of Ruby's sisters".
In "Get in the Van", she appears in the anniversary wheel that starts the episode with all the other season 1 recommended characters.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4", Gold is seen eating a chunk of herself when her name is said by Ruby while she is naming all her sisters. Gold is seen mad at Ruby like the rest of her sisters and is also seen in the flashback begging Announcer for a spot in BFDI 17's debut voting before being pushed out the way by Ruby. She is then seen laughing at Ruby for not having gone to Gem School. Once the sisters take Ruby's place and start swapping with each other Gold can be seen escaping the Bug Hive, running into the So-Ha Fashion Store while chasing after Team No-Name with Needle, telling Needle to go into the Concert Auditorium, and asking Needle what she was doing with the Anti-Poison.

In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", she appears during the recommended characters crowd scene for that episode being recommended by thiccpicc. She is shown when Donut is flung backwards.

In ABCDEFG, Gold is eliminated in the second round because she was recommended in an episode of the Battle for Dream Island series having been recommended in "The Reveal".

Trivia[]
- Gold is one of three sisters that are orange with the other two being Amber and Topaz.
- Gold's defining difference is being a normal orange color unlike the other two who are either lighter or darker in color.
- As mentioned in ABCDEFG, Gold is one of the few sisters to have been recommended in the BFDI series prior to ABCDEFG, specifically being recommended in BFDI 17.
- Due to being a recommended character in BFDI prior to episode 17 Gold is one of the two sisters that actually could have been chosen to debut in BFDI, as all the other sisters would either be recommended later or would not be recommended at all. The other sister is Diamond.
- Due to Gold's other forms being recommended characters whereas her BFDIA 12 form isn't and due to the flashback showing her in her current form it is likely that her appearance has been retconned to have always looked like she does in BFDIA 12. It’s possible that her other forms are separate characters.
- Gold biting/eating herself in her BFDIA 12 appearance is likely a reference to the Olympics tradition where gold medalists would bite their medals.
