Gratitude Tokens (or as Four called them, Tokens of Gratitude) are tokens that are given to contestants for Four's gratitude. Four seems to give them to people to show appreciation for him, as Four is seen giving one to Pin in "Enter the Exit" after she recovers him. The main purpose of the token might be getting a rejoining contestant on your team, as shown in "Get to the Top in 500 Steps" when the token was exchanged for having Leafy on Pin's team. However, its true use is unknown.
Appearance[]
The Gratitude Token is blue and contains the letters “GT” on the front, which stand for Gratitude Token. It closely resembles the Win Token, but they are colored differently and have different text.
Coverage[]
In "Enter the Exit", the token first appeared when Pin brought back Four and was rewarded with the Gratitude Token.
In "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", the token is exchanged for Leafy joining Pin's Team.
Trivia[]
- Pin was the first to receive a Gratitude Token in BFB 10, which was taken back by Four in BFB 11.
- This is the third type of token to appear in BFDI.
- Its name is a play on words of the idiom "token of gratitude", which is a way of giving appreciation to others who have helped you.
- The Gratitude Token is the first token introduced in BFB.
