Lamps are a line of merchandise that portray Battle for Dream Island characters in the form of rubber lamps.

When you slap, pat, tap, or pinch the lamp, it'll change color. The box even shows Needle slapping the lamp to demonstrate how it works.

Appearance[]

All three lamps so far are made out of a soft silicone layer made to look like the characters, the current ones being Gelatin, Ice Cube, and Firey, the latter not released yet. The silicone is placed on top of the lamp part itself, and the legs are spread out to be used as a phone holder.

How to use[]

Turn the [PRODUCT NAME] Lamp on/off by pressing the button on the bottom side of the lamp. To adjust the brightness and color, use the remote or slap, pat, tap, pinch, etc can turn on the [PRODUCT NAME] Lamp by pinching/patting/playing, etc.

This lamp has long silicone legs which can be used as a mobile phone holder!
The remote can control the lamp and allow access to many colors and features that are unavailable by pinching or slapping it.
The lamp does not need to be plugged in to use, thanks to the internal 1200mAh battery.

Safety information[]

Do not use this product in a humid environment (such as a bathroom); contact with water may cause product failure or damage.
Do not drop this product; repeated impacts may cause damage.
Do not store in a place with high temperature or direct sun exposure.
Do not charge this product with a voltage exceeding the specified voltage.
When the product is fully charged, unplug the power supply and do not charge again until the battery is low to preserve battery health.
Do not throw the product into a fire to avoid explosion hazard.
Do not touch or use this product when your hands are wet.
Please use this product at room temparature (0°~40°C / 32°F-104°F).
Do not charge the product on a flammable surface (carpets, quilts).
If the product cannot be charged, please replace the adapter or power cord and try again. (Fast-charging power bricks do not work!)
If liquid leakage occurs, please do not use the product. If your body accidentally comes into contact with liquid from the battery, immediately rinse it off and seek medical help.
If the product is abnormally high temparature or deformed during charging, please stop charging immediately.
Do not replace the battery by yourself.
The provided power cord and wall plug are recommended for the product.
If the product is not in use, it is best to turn the lamp off at the base. Otherwise, it will remain in standby mode, increasing energy consumption.

Trivia[]

The price for (presumably) all the lamps are $27.63 USD, a recurring number gag in the BFDI series.
The product names are all fitting the criteria:
- First word(s) being the Character's name
- Second (or third) word being the material they're made of or their object itself
- Last word being the word Lamp
- Example: Ice Cube Ice Lamp
After nearly 12 years, the Ice Cube Ice Lamp is the first unique merchandise of one of the three playable characters in BFDIA 5b, with the exception of non-unique Redbubble designs, such as the Book book. Ice Cube is also the fourth main member of FreeSmart to receive unique merchandise.
So far, all 3 characters who have lamps are BFDIA contestants and WTF inhabitants.
You don't nessecarily have to slap the lamp to change the color, you can also hit the surface it's on hard for it to also work. Clapping near it works too.^{[citation needed]}
