Plot[]
Cold Open[]
The episode begins a flashback to January 1st, 2015, where Leafy tries to get Ice Cube's attention. She asks her if she wants to hang out, but Ice Cube declines, adding that she hasn't done anything nice and expects getting something in return, and that if she does a single selfless or helpful act, then Leafy would have friends. After Ice Cube leaves, Leafy insists that she can make friends.
After the Intro and Pre-challenge[]
Continuing from last episode, Tennis Ball is confused as to how the challenge isn't done when Needle already won. The fish monster looks at everyone's stats, with Needle collecting ten unique items, Coiny and Tennis Ball tied for second with nine, Pin placing third with eight, and Book placing last with just one. The fish monster adds that Pin and Book are in the danger zone, but says they're not up for elimination yet. It explains in an hour, only two people will be up for elimination that are in the danger zone.

The fish monster says they need to now distribute all of their goods to people now, and if they do, they'll get a one-time use immunity ticket which will swap places with a player who's safe. Needle, who won the first half of the challenge, will get to choose who will be swapped. Hearing this, Needle turns to Coiny and Tennis Ball with a grin, and the former reminds her that Tennis Ball was the one who disfigured her with his magnet, to which Tennis Ball insists that he wasn't.
Challenge[]
Pin starts by collecting Tennis Ball's magnet, then some glue from the Hand-powered Recovery Center to her basket, which adds up to ten. She tries to sell them to the first set of recommended characters, but they disappear, annoying and disappointing Pin. Meanwhile, Tennis Ball tells Coiny that if they can prevent Pin and Book from selling and getting immunity tickets, they can guarantee their safety. Coiny responds that they don't need to worry about Book winning, offending Book. Golf Ball asks Tennis Ball why she and the rest of the WTFers are inside his basket, with Pin telling her that it's a part of the challenge.
Golf Ball tries to leave Tennis Ball's basket, but Tennis Ball stops her, telling her that she would be breaking the rules. Nickel jumps in to help Tennis Ball by telling Rocky to barf into Tennis Ball's basket. Tennis Ball thanks Rocky. As Tennis Ball tries to sell his basket, Coiny points out that his rock and Rocky are the same but Tennis Ball says that it's "Rock-y" and not "Rock". Angered, Coiny pushes Tennis Ball into his basket, making him have ten items as well. Tennis Ball reminds Coiny of their truce, but Coiny counters that he never agreed to a truce, and tells Tennis Ball that he can't leave his basket. Tennis Ball makes a couple holes from Coiny's basket for him to run and carries his basket and runs off, with Coiny chasing after him.
Pin realizes that they're allowed to move the baskets, so she attempts to move Book's basket, but Book takes Pin's basket and puts it to her basket, and tells Pin that she'll have to learn how to work together. The Bughive in Book's basket bursts with poison, causing Book and Pin to be covered in bug venom. They fall over and die. Needle then recovers them. Pin asks Book why she put her basket into hers, and Book replies that if they sell both of them at the same time, they can both get immunity tickets and be safe, since neither can win alone. Pin initially refuses but eventually agrees, forming the "Ultimate Alliance".

The scene changes back to Coiny chasing Tennis Ball and Tennis Ball asks the WTFers to take care of Coiny, with them (minus Golf Ball) sticking out their tongues at him, which angers Tennis Ball. Bomby tells Rocky to barf at Coiny to which he deflects them with a stick. Golf Ball tells Rocky to stop as he's interfering with the challenge, but Rocky barfs into Golf Ball's mouth and she lashes out at them, having had enough. Nickel mistakenly believes that they're jumping now, so the rest of the WTFers also jump and launches Tennis Ball somewhere away. Coiny, slightly disappointed, hopes he could find something to launch himself, but is interrupted by Leafy, with her asking if he's cool with Pin. This makes Coiny shocked about Leafy's appearance.
Book says she's collected things with actual value but Pin says she only has a bughive. Book says she can also add in the bug poison and bugs which makes her have four items in her basket, and now needs to find more stuff that have value. Pin suggests Dream Island Again, with Book agreeing, but doesn't know how to get there. Pin asks the fish monster to take her to Dream Island but the fish monster tells her to shut her mouth. Book then uses Tennis Ball's magnet to attract Dream Island, but the magnet instead collects "Dream Island But Ugly". Needle then asks the fish monster if she has to wait until the challenge ends, then offers it the recommended characters inside her basket.
Coiny asks what Leafy wants from him, and she asks again if he's mad that Pin betrayed him. Coiny says no, because she was doing the challenge. Leafy responds that she would be mad if she got betrayed by her best friend. Coiny tries to leave and find Tennis Ball, but Leafy tells him that he's not in the danger zone and needs to make sure that Book or Pin don't get immunity tickets. Coiny asks how he'll do that, and Leafy pulls out a knife, saying if they're incapacitated then they can't do the challenge.
Dream Island But Ugly has been attracted by the magnet, and Book throws the farm animals into her basket, including the farm itself, giving her ten items. Pin, with a megaphone, tries to attract people, asking if anyone wants to buy Dream Island. Many recommended characters show up, but one of them points out that it's not the actual Dream Island, so they all leave. Book attempts to sell their stuff too, and it eventually leads them to argue until Ruby shows up, willing to buy the toilet.
Meanwhile, Tennis Ball lands inside the Evil Forest and yells at the WTFers for not being useful for him, with Nickel apologizing. Evil Leafy then appears, and it gives Tennis Ball an idea to sell all of the WTFers to her. He also tries to sell her rocks, tree bark, and Rocky's barf, but Evil Leafy, along with the possessed contestants, disappear.
Pin asks why Ruby is here, and she responds that she was on a stroll. Book asks about the others, and a cutaway shows a tornado picking up Fries, Pencil, and Gelatin, with Ruby and Ice Cube fleeing before Ice Cube gets sucked in too. Back in the present, Ruby insists they'll be fine before asking for their baskets, with Book giving her all their items.

With that, their baskets print out immunity tickets and Pin gives hers to the fish monster and Needle switches Tennis Ball to be in Pin's place with thirty minutes remaining and Tennis Ball is upset. Book also tries to play her immunity ticket, but is interrupted by a swarm of knives. Book, Pin, and Needle hide behind the HPRC. Needle wonders who's throwing them and Pin realises it's Coiny.
Tennis Ball tries to sell one of his rocks to a recommended character but they reject it. Angry, Tennis Ball asks if anyone in the universe is interested with Earth's geology. His voice echoes to the Aliens of the Really Weird Planet in the Orion Nebula, and the aliens respond that they're interested with anything that Earth has, with their message being received by the Universal Translator. Hearing this, Tennis Ball begins building a spaceship. Book tells Pin and Needle about the aliens' message, but they can't move because Coiny is still throwing knives. Coiny says that this is so much fun, and Leafy agrees that it's fun to be a bit of a menace. Needle wonders why's he's doing it, and Book thinks if she uses her immunity ticket, then he would be in the danger zone, and he can't sell items because Tennis Ball still has his basket.
Needle shouts to Coiny that she won’t put him in the danger zone if he stops throwing knives, and he falls for it. Leafy tries to tell him that it's a trick but it's too late. Book finally plays her immunity ticket and Needle instantly replaces her with Coiny in the danger zone, with twenty four minutes remaining. Coiny quickly shrugs it off and tries to find Tennis Ball, and takes a spaceship over to the Really Weird Planet in the Orion Nebula. Meanwhile, Tennis Ball finishes constructing his spaceship and goes to Really Weird Planet in the Orion Nebula as well. He bumps into Coiny on the way there, with Coiny attacking him with the laser, while Tennis Balls deflects with his shield disintegrating Jupiter. He attacks Coiny with his laser gun, but the lasers end up hitting many other planets but disintegrates as well. They then race to the Really Weird Planet in the Orion Nebula.
Meanwhile, Book, Needle, and Pin watch as Coiny and Tennis Ball race toward the Really Weird Planet in the Orion Nebula. Pin realizes the boys will probably get their immunity tickets soon. She suggests they "destroy the boys" to stop them, while at the same time, Book suggests they just "collect and sell more items to earn more immunity tickets". Pin tells Book that if they destroy Coiny and Tennis Ball, they won’t be able to leave the danger zone. Book thinks Pin’s plan is way too harsh, and Pin argues there’s nothing to collect here anyway. Book says there is, in Yoyleland, and pulls out a map that Leafy gave her. Pin is surprised and asks where she got it. When Book says Leafy gave it to her, Pin immediately disbands their alliance and decides to go through with her own plan to take out the boys.
Book cheerfully says “Blue skidoo, we can too!” and teleports to Yoyleland. As the map floats into the air, Pin stabs it with her point and tears it up before flying off. Meanwhile, Tennis Ball arrives at the Really Weird Planet and greets the aliens. He offers them trinkets from Earth, and they get excited. He throws them tree bark, a few rocks, and some "organic waste" (vomit). Once all the items are given out, his immunity ticket appears. He’s about to leave when Coiny shows up.
Coiny demands Tennis Ball’s basket, but Tennis Ball refuses. Coiny, angry, kicks him out of it and gives the aliens his own items. The aliens quickly eat everything, and Coiny gets his immunity ticket too. He realizes the aliens must really love his stuff. Annoyed, Tennis Ball starts to leave, but Coiny suggests they stay a little longer to study the aliens. Tennis Ball thinks it’s a good idea, until Pin suddenly arrives. Seeing her, Tennis Ball panics and flies off in his spaceship, which turns into a fireball as it zooms toward Earth.
Needle notices the fireball just before the spaceship crashes into her. Tennis Ball doesn’t seem to care and just hands his immunity ticket to the fish monster, officially escaping the danger zone. The fish monster tells him to recover Needle so she can pick who replaces him. Tennis Ball is about to, but then realizes something: once Coiny arrives with his ticket, Needle will probably swap Coiny out for Tennis Ball.
Thinking fast, he only partially recovers Needle and tells her she needs to choose between Pin or Book to take his place. Needle asks to be fully recovered, but Tennis Ball dodges the request and insists she pick. Needle chooses Book, figuring she probably won’t be eliminated anyway. Meanwhile, Book finds out she’s been sent to the danger zone. She’s upset at first, but then remembers she has ten items ready to sell. She wonders who to sell them to, but quickly realizes the place is abandoned.
Needle begs Tennis Ball to fully recover her. He agrees; but only if she promises never to put him in the danger zone for the rest of the challenge. Needle reluctantly agrees and tells him to go ahead. But instead of finishing the recovery, Tennis Ball decides to wait until the challenge is over. Frustrated, Needle says he’s acting like Flower, because he’s being so mean.

Meanwhile, on the Really Weird Planet, Pin looks around and calls the place interesting. Coiny walks up with the aliens behind him and casually asks what she’s doing there. Pin responds that she came to the planet to kill him. Hearing this, the aliens instantly attack her, while Coiny nervously backs away. Back on the Pristine Plains, Needle once again demands that Tennis Ball finish recovering her. He refuses, saying he can’t trust her. Fed up, Needle (still stuck inside the HPRC) runs around asking for help.
Ruby, buried under a pile of items, says she’ll help but can’t move. Needle asks where she is, and Ruby tells her to follow her voice. Needle manages to find her. Just as Ruby is about to recover her, Tennis Ball tries to interfere, but Needle kicks him away, and Ruby finishes recovering her. Ruby then asks Needle to help her too. Needle agrees and throws the HPRC at her, but the glue causes it to boomerang back, smacking both her and Tennis Ball.
The HPRC drags Needle and Tennis Ball to Yoyleland, sending them flying straight into Book; right as Book is about to sell her items. The impact launches Book into space. Needle asks if she’ll be okay, but Tennis Ball just backs away without answering. Meanwhile, back on the Really Weird Planet, Pin chases Coiny with her drill, slicing through objects as she runs. The aliens also chase her. But just then, Book crashes down in front of Pin. Pin accidentally drills through Book, instantly killing her.
Coiny calls it “uncool” that Pin just murdered her only ally. Pin coldly replies that it’s not the first time she’s done that. Book’s basket lands nearby. The aliens rush to it and start taking the items, causing the item count to drop. When it hits zero, the basket prints an immunity ticket. Pin says that if Book were here, she’d want her to continue her legacy, before grabbing the immunity ticket for herself.
Back on Earth, Needle gazes at the Really Weird Planet and assumes that Book must have died before recovering her. Upon being recovered, Book realizes she has only two minutes left and notices her basket is missing. Panicking, she worries that she’s about to lose again. Seeing this, Needle gives her an immunity ticket. Shocked, Book asks why, and Needle responds that she doesn’t need it anyway. She then glares at Tennis Ball and adds that there’s someone else she’d rather see up for elimination.
Tennis Ball, suspicious, asks where Needle got the immunity ticket. The scene shifts to the fish monster, who sheepishly admits that contestants can still sell items even if they’re immune. Book approaches the fish monster and uses the immunity ticket, taking herself out of the danger zone. The fish monster turns to Needle, asking who will replace Book. Needle is about to nominate Tennis Ball, but he quickly promises to do whatever she wants if she spares him.
On the Really Weird Planet, Book’s basket updates to show that she has exited the danger zone, and Pin is now in her place. With only one minute remaining, Pin rushes to turn in her immunity ticket. Coiny also departs, accompanied by his new alien friends. As the two race toward Earth, one of the aliens suggests Coiny fire at Pin. Coiny hesitates but ultimately crashes into her, sending both of them hurtling through the atmosphere.

Confused, Pin asks Coiny what he’s doing, pointing out that his actions will make them both lose. Coiny replies that he’s already aware. Pin stares at him in disbelief before the two crash into a forest just as time runs out, putting them both up for elimination. Pin angrily accuses Coiny of dooming them both, but he shrugs it off, saying he’s just playing the game. Pin argues that his move was foolish since they could have both been safe, but adds sarcastically that a “big, dramatic finish” must have been more important to him.
Coiny denies that was his intention, prompting Pin to ask if he’s trying to eliminate her. He admits he is, to which Pin gets mad and accuses him of being petty. Coiny counters that it’s simply strategy, saying that she's the biggest threat left. The two continue arguing, this time with their voices overlapping. Coiny argues that he is justified as he has done so many nice things for Pin throughout BFDIA, while Pin has done nothing nice in return and has shown little to no gratitude. On the contrary, Pin believes his move was stupid as she needed that immunity or she'd get eliminated, claiming she was the most hated person left. This continues while the fish monster observes them from afar, unsure what to make of the situation.
Stinger[]
Ruby is still stuck inside Book and Pin's pile, desperately asking for help. Pin, who returns feeling dejected after her heated argument with Coiny, knocks it off for her, but Ruby runs away from her in disgust. Pin is offended by this, but Leafy overhears her and states Pin's starting to act like her. Pin turns to Leafy and asks what she wants, and Leafy reminds her about their alliance.

Trivia[]
- This is the third BFDIA episode to be released in May, following "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4" and "🥚".
- This episode continues the trend of the 20th episode of a season being set in outer space; whether it being set entirely or partially in space, or even space-related somehow.
- This is the second time two BFDIA episodes have been released in the same month, after "Get Digging" and "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3".
- This is also the first same-season episode in 4 years to be released in the same month. The last episode to do this was "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", releasing 21 days after "Let's Raid The Warehouse".
- This is the second single challenge that spans over two episodes (the first being "Return of the Rocket Ship" and "Don't Dig Straight Down"), and the first one in-universe.
- This is the first time a BFDI episode has released on the same day as another BFDI episode that isn't the first of a month, being released on May 22nd (alongside "How Loe Can You Grow?").
- This is the first time in over a year that Book has won immunity in BFDIA, with her last winning immunity in "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4". which was released on May 16, 2024 (2014 in-universe).
- This episode also ends Needle and Tennis Ball's losing streaks, who were up for elimination in every episode since "Spore Day".
- This is the first episode since "Respect to The Wicked" in which Pin had no immunity.
- This is the first episode to have likes for voting videos made private.
- This change is likely as a result of the controversy regarding Fries' votes and their presentation last episode, which led to Cary Huang making a public statement via the community tab on the Humany channel.[1]
- This marks the fourth time a BFB OST track was played in a BFDIA episode (the first being "Shirtsong" in "Intruder Alert" and the second and third being "Flop" and "Storm" in "Start the Shift").
- This episode marks the first time Pencil doesn’t get a single line of dialogue in her appearance.
- The 20th word of this episode is "first". As of now, BFDIA's secret message is: "Don't try that thing again, because it definitely won't work this time. Instead, you should string together the twenty first...".
- Additionally, the 21st word of this episode is "carries", meaning the other secret message is "Actually forget about what I just said because there's no message here either. You were so foolish to believe Cary's (carries)..."
- The next word for both secret messages will be the same as both of them will be the 21st spoken word of the 21st episode.
- At 10:40, while Coiny is throwing knives at the HPRC, several words appear on-screen. These words include the following:
- Poop
- Help
- QWERTY
- Https
- Jk
- AHHHHHHH
- Subscribe to Jacknjellify

- This is also the same map that Pin ripped apart in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know" that Leafy said the same phrase on.
- Coiny says "What the what!?" after seeing Leafy, which could be a reference to The Amazing World of Gumball, since this is a line Gumball says a lot.
Goofs[]
- The contestants' baskets are inconsistently depicted with their screens and ticket dispensers sometimes appearing on both wider sides of the basket, and sometimes only appearing on one side.
- At 1:32, Pin's basket says that she collected 7 items when in reality, she collected 8.
- At 3:24, Tennis Ball points to the left side, where Book and Pin are slap-fighting each other, however at 3:31, Book is seen alone in the right side.
- At 6:06, when Coiny used a stick to knockback Rocky's vomits to Golf Ball, Bomby and Nickel in Tennis Ball's basket, the vomit disappears in the next scene.
- At 8:48, the moment where Book mistakenly says microphone and cuts herself off to say megaphone instead is not mentioned in the manually provided subtitles of the video.[2]
- At 18:46, the timer shows 1:31 is left in the challenge. However, at 18:53 it reverts back to 1:31 despite it ticking down to 1:28.
- When Needle throws the HPRC, it returns to its original positition in Yoyleland, even though in the previous episode Ruby used some glue thinner to break the chain of glue inside the tunnel.
- At 20:25, Pin's rockets are missing.
Deaths[]
- Pin and Book die from poison from the Bughive.
- Golf Ball, Nickel, Bomby, Rocky, and Yellow Face were possessed by Evil Leafy.
- Fries, Gelatin, Pencil, and Ice Cube could had possibly died from the tornado (debatable).
