So don't forget: Even though YouTube can take down our videos, they can't take down a group of people just having fun. Yeah!
Let's Have a Bay Area #WTFU Meetup in a Weird Place is a currently unlisted video uploaded on April 24, 2016 announcing a meetup in front of YouTube Headquarters. It is about the "Where's The Fair Use?" complaint that many YouTubers were making around the time about copyright and takedowns.
Plot[]
The video starts out with text talking about a YouTube issue where they would take down videos with seemingly no reason. Michael is seen being filmed far away, but with the camera zoomed in enough to make it look low quality. Michael stops and asks the viewer three questions related to the meetup. After revealing that he's at YouTube headquarters, the video transitions into a 3D model of the building.
Michael, now a voiceover, jokingly states that the sidewalk is a grand venue perfect for events. He lists a few things:
The Only Bench in Existence Next to the Only Trash Can in Existence
After that segment, Michael gets more serious and talks about how excited he is, the legality and message of this meetup, and everything they'll do at the meetup. Michael talks about bringing board games and bringing a projector to project an unknown, new animation he's made.
The video cuts to Michael stating the same ideas, but in person. Although, he adds having pleasant conversation, and a light show to the list of events at the meetup. Michael ends the video with "Even though YouTube can take down our videos, they can't take down a group of people just having fun." The video ends with the address displayed in text.

'It's been nearly two months since a tweet and a forum post from YouTube.
'What's happened since then?
Do you live in this area?
Are you FED UP with YouTube's autonomous takedowns?
Are you tired of people's videos about their OTHER videos getting taken down?
Well, come to this area, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, or should I say, the sidewalk, right in front of YouTube's Headquarters.
(Voiceover): At nearly 5,000 square feet, the sidewalk in front of YouTube is bursting with accommodations. Including:
The Only Bench in Existence Next to the Only Trash Can in Existence
Minecraft... Story Mode.
Text on poster is edited to say "CHARISMATIC PERSON DISCOVERED AT INTERNET MEETUP"
We also managed to find an escape route, so you can crawl your way back to civilization.
Clearly, the perfect venue for any occasion. But one place just across the street, makes up for it all. Carl's Jr.
I think this will be a real fun, relaxing thing to do on a Saturday. It'll be a nice way to chat, and meet new people, that, have the same interests as you do. And it'll also be a way to just, give a gentle knock on the door, say: "Hey YouTube, it's been 2 months since we've heard anything. How's it going?"
It's definitely not anything serious. It's not illegal, unless you block the sidewalk. And it's a safe area, it's, it should be a lot of fun.
They're gonna be- I'm gonna bring board games; I'm gonna bring a projector, because I've been working on an animation that- that works with the shape, of the YouTube building. It's going to be really fun, and you're gonna hear me say the exact same thing a few seconds from now.
There's going to be pleasant conversation, There's going to be board games. Uh- There's going to be a light show when the sun goes down.
Look at this. There's a nice bit of shade here.
And I've been working on a nice animation. It's going to be really cool. Uh-
So don't forget: Even though YouTube can take down our videos, they can't take down a group of people just having fun. Yeah!
