Camera

Camera is a recurring recommended character that first appeared in "The Reveal" recommended by rememberREACH417. They returned in "Return of the Hang Glider" recommended by siss980 and appeared in "Welcome Back" as FreeSmart's camera for the video diaries. However, Ruby left the lens cap on, obscuring their face from being seen and recording the video diaries.
They reappeared in "The Liar Ball You Don't Want" when Donut was hosting Cake at Stake and Lightning pulls them out during the scene to take a picture of Donut. In "Questions Answered", Match uses footage from Camera as proof that Free Food cheated.
They appeared in The Tidepool in the Uber-Evolved mode as a level 91 creature. In them, Camera loses their tripod and is named "Camera of Joy".
They didn't debut in TPOT, only having received 1,124 votes.
Clapboard

Discy is a recommended character that first appeared in Season 1 initially going by other names like Disc, Disky, CD and DVD. They appeared in the episodes "Half a Loaf Is Better Than None" and "Vomitaco" recommended by worldsubways13, then in "Reveal Novum" recommended by BlueLucario98, in "Rescission" recommended by captainjking, and in "Gardening Hero" recommended by happyinhillsdale.
They had one appearance in Season 2 in "Get Digging" recommended by TDJessiFan, and had a major design change in Season 4 at the same time as being renamed to Discy, appearing in "Lick Your Way to Freedom" and "Today's Very Special Episode" recommended by AwesomeX04.
They didn't debut in TPOT, only having received 815 votes.
Income Tax Return Document

They didn't debut, only having received 1,014 votes.
Nonexisty

Nonexisty is a recurring recommended character that first appeared in "A Leg Up in the Race", where Firey tasted him, and questioned if it was peanut butter. He was first put up for debut in "The Reveal" and "Reveal Novum". However, he only placed 8th/9th with 11 votes, tying with Robot Flower, which wasn't enough to join. He was also up for voting to join the second season, but he only got 266 votes.
He had another chance at exiting the TLC in "Welcome Back". He got 501 votes.
He is one of the two contestants not participating in Battle for BFDI, with the other being Evil Leafy. However, he went up for voting to join Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two in "The Escape from Four".
He placed second in the voting overall (5,697 votes), and actually almost joined due to the number of contestants being a prime number, but he didn't join since he's not a visual character (and therefore didn't count as a contestant, according to Two), so Price Tag, who was placed third, joined instead.
Onigiri

Onigiri is a recommended character that first appeared in "Lick Your Way to Freedom" recommended by Piggy_wig.
They didn't debut, only having received 1,436 votes.
PDA

PDA, short for Personal Digital Assistant, is a recommended character that first appeared in "Today's Very Special Episode" recommended by lyxon. They only appear in Battle for BFDI as a Patreon-recommended character. Following "Four Goes Too Far", they replace Swappy's place under the "Recommend a Character" reward on the Jacknjellify Patreon page.
They didn't debut, only having received 2,097 votes.
Price Tag

Price Tag is a recommended character that first appeared in "The Four is Lava" recommended by Natty23.
They debuted in TPOT due to there not being enough contestants for the teams to be split up equally. They placed in third during the voting with 4907 votes, and therefore got eliminated. However, due to the second-place contestant not existing, they were brought back to compete. They are currently on the team Just Not.
Rubber Spatula
