This is a list of all of the recommended characters eligible to debut for TPOT.

9-Ball

9-Ball is a character that is up for debut in TPOT. Nothing more known about them other than they don't have a favorite letter, much like 8-Ball who doesn't have a favorite number.

Appearance

9-Ball is a cream-colored billiard ball with a yellow stripe.

  • 9-Ball is solid-colored, unlike real-life 9-balls.
  • 9-Ball's line under the number 9 is poorly drawn.

  • 9-Ball's line under the number 9 is now a straight line.

Their audition is them writing "I don't have a favorite letter" on the whiteboard before looking at the camera and gasping.

  • Unlike 8-Ball, 9-Ball has an actual outline. Which 8-Ball, as a billiard ball, does not have one.
  • His audition is a reference to 8-Ball's audition in BFDI 17.

Anchor

Anchor is a recommended character up for the debut for The Power of Two.

Appearance

Anchor is a black anchor, presumably used by an old ship. They seem to be very heavy.

Anchor is first seen walking, they then accidentally trip, causing them to fall off the room they were in.

Avocado

Avocado is a character who is up for debut in TPOT. They were recommended by WhoisThisPerson11111 and first appeared in "Lick Your Way to Freedom".

Appearance

Avocado is an armless avocado that has a wide mouth and white eyes. Their mouth is animated differently; it resembles as if a slice was taken out of Avocado. It also shows the pit inside.

Audition

Avocado's audition is them walking until they look at the camera and gasping for seemingly no reason, most likely to reveal their unique open mouth.

  • Avocado is the first fruit character, excluding recommended characters not up for debut.

Battery

Not to be confused with the recommended character from BFDI 13.


Battery is a recommended character and one of the eligible debuters for TPOT.

Appearance

Battery is a pine green AA-type battery. They don't appear to be based off any specific brand of battery.

Audition

Battery attaches strips of metal to both sides of their body with a light bulb attached at the top. Afterward, the light bulb turns on and they smile at the camera.

Trivia

  • As seen in their audtion, Battery is able to conduct electricity, they used this to power a small lightbulb.
  • Their recommender, squib, also has another character in the debut, VHSy.
  • Their recommender is one of two recommenders to get two of their characters in the debut.
  • Battery is the only character to have an asset shorter than Firey Jr.'s that hasn't been shrunken.
  • Battery could possibly be a Bad Dairy brand battery, as Bad Dairy batteries are green and appear in BFB 16.

Blender

Blender is a recommended character up for voting in "The Escape from Four" to join Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two. They were recommended by Papiomike and first appeared in "Today's Very Special Episode", and later in "The Liar Ball You Don't Want".

Appearance

Blender's buttons have since become larger and more defined since their original appearances, with a large donut-shaped button on the left and a smaller button on the right.

Audition

In their audition, Blender put blueberries inside of their jar and blended them up. However, they exploded out of the top and flew onto the camera.

Trivia

  • Their audition is a possible reference to Pie's audition, because they both include a blueberry explosion.

Boom Mic

Boom Mic is a recommended character up for voting in "The Escape from Four" to join Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two. They were recommended by Abject Studios and first appeared in "Today's Very Special Episode".

Appearance

Boom Mic's limbs are on the base of their boom pole, while their face is further away, on their microphone.

Audition

In their audition, Boom Mic happily walked forward until painfully bumping into a wall, where they stopped smiling.

Camera is a recommended character up for voting in "The Escape from Four" to join Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two.

Appearance

Camera appears to be a digital single-lens reflex video camera, a portable small camera for general photography and film recording.

Audition

In their audition, Camera plays the first IDFB episode. Only the sound can be heard.

Clapboard

Clapboard is one of the eligible debuters for TPOT.

Appearance

Clapboard is seems to be a clapperboard with their "hands" colored with green, yellow, blue, red, and a gray gradient finishing it. They only have legs for limbs.

Audition

Clapboard's audition is them interrupting Camera's audition by clapping their top.

Conch Shell

Conch Shell is one of the eligible debuters for TPOT.  

Appearance

Conch Shell is based off a seashell, though their design is more distinctly segmented than a standard conch. They are a creamy orange color, and they appear to have one eye concealed by the whorl. Their face is in the aperture.

  • Conch Shell is a more saturated orange color.

  • Conch Shell is now a more cream color and has more color variation overall.

Conch's audition shows them staring at the screen in a bored manner and blinking.

  • Conch Shell is the first character to only have one eye shown.

Discy

Discy is a character who is up for debut in The Power of Two.

Appearance

In "Half a Loaf is Better than None", Disc is a gray disc with arms. In "Reveal Novum", Disc (now named "Disky") loses their arms.

In "Rescission", Discy had a circular rainbow scheme for their body, this referring to how disks emit rainbows in their body.

In the "The Escape from Four", they appear more detailed with much more color and a transparent rainbow scheme.

In their audition, they are shown with a slight rainbow texture, which could be based off of their design in Rescission.

Audition

Their audition is them looking at the camera and revealing what they look like from the side.

Income Tax Return Document

Income Tax Return Document is a recommended character up for voting in "The Escape from Four" to join Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two. They were recommended by Sophie B. and first appeared in "Enter the Exit". 

Appearance

Income Tax Return Document seems to be a Tax Document. They can crumple their body and obscure their arms and mouth, or flatten their body and reveal them.

Kitchen Sink is a recommended character up for voting in "The Escape from Four" to join Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two. They were recommended by "Joeart M."

Appearance

Kitchen Sink is a porcelain sink with golden-colored taps.

Audition

Kitchen Sink's audition is them spraying, rapidly-flowing water.

Trivia

  • Their name may be a reference to the saying "everything but the kitchen sink", alluding to the wide variety of objects up for debut.
  • They are the first character whose name starts with a K.
  • Despite being called Kitchen Sink, Kitchen Sink looks more like a bathroom sink.

Leek is a character eligible to compete in TPOT.

Audition

Leek's audition is them doing a cartwheel.

Appearance

Leek is a pale green leek. They have three big green leaves.

Onigiri

Onigiri is one of the eligible debuters for TPOT.

Appearance

Onigiri appears to be a triangular Japanese rice ball, made of white rice wrapped in a rectangular Nori (the Japanese name for the edible species of red algae or seaweed). Their body is detailed in texture to signify the rice.

Audition

Onigiri's audition is them getting hit in the face with a cannonball, similar to Eggy's audition in BFDI 17. They later are seen with it removed in Snare Drum's audition, where they throw the cannonball onto Snare Drum.


Trivia

  • They are the first character (eligible recommended or official) whose name starts with an O.
  • They are the only character to be named by Japanese pronunciation instead of the usual English.
  • Their audition is most likely a reference to Eggy's audition in BFDI 17.

PDA

PDA, short for Personal Digital Assistant, is a character recommended by lyxon, first appearing in "Today's Very Special Episode". They only appear in Battle for BFDI as a Patreon-recommended character. Following "Four Goes Too Far", they replace Swappy's place under the "Recommend a Character" reward on the jacknjellify Patreon page. In "The Escape from Four", PDA is a character that is eligible to debut in The Power of Two.

Appearance

PDA is based on a personal digital assistant— most likely the Apple Newton. They have a gray-green screen surrounded by a dark-gray, rounded exterior containing an elliptical button. They hold a light-gray stylus with dark-gray ends. They have both pairs of arms and legs.

Audition

PDA's audition clip in "The Escape from Four" features PDA pulling a stylus out of their body and leaning on it.

Trivia

  • Their audition may be a reference to Remote's audition in BFDI 17.
  • PDA is most likely based on the Apple Newton.

Price Tag

Price Tag is one of the eligible debuters for TPOT.

They made their first appearance in The Four is Lava as a recommended character by Natty23.

Appearance

They are armless, but not always. The "face" on their price tag is animated in a unique way – using text-based emoticons.

Audition

Price Tag's TPOT audition features them sneezing, with a series of unique emoticon expressions. The emoticons are specifically, :|, ||, ;e, ;{, 8O, x3, and :Q. The last face could be because their voting letter is Q. When opening the debuters fla file of BFB 16 via Adobe Animate, their current emoticon in price tag in the debuters fla file is >:D, representing an evil grin.

Rubber Spatula

Rubber Spatula is one of the eligible debuters for TPOT.

Appearance

Rubber Spatula has a yellow head with a white handle. They have a hole at the end of their handle. In Enter the Exit, Rubber Spatula's arms are located lower.

Audition

In Rubber Spatula's audition, they swat a bug, only to be covered in black goop.

Trivia

  • Rubber Spatula is the first TPOT debuter to have a confirmed kill.

Salt Lamp

Salt Lamp is a character up for debut in TPOT.

Appearance

Salt Lamp is a crystal-like salt lamp who is pink when off. When lit up, their salmon glow is bigger and brighter. Salt Lamp is also armless.

Audition

In Salt Lamp's audition, they repeatedly turn themselves on and off, making the background alternate between bright and dark.

Scissors is a character up for debut in TPOT.

Appearance

Scissors is a pair of scissors. They have one green handle and one yellow one.

  • In BFDI 24, part of Scissors's body is uncolored, another recommended character, Candy Corn had the same problem.

Shampoo is one of the eligible debuters for TPOT.  

Appearance

Shampoo is a pink bottle of upside-down shampoo. Their lid functions as a puppet-like mouth.

Audition

Shampoo's audition is them running to the left, making their "mouth" open in the process. They stop in the middle of the screen, and the bottle closes on top of them.

Shopping Cart

Shopping Cart is a recommended character and one of the eligible debuters for Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two.

Appearance

Shopping Cart appears to be more detailed unlike in its two past appearances. The wheels acted as their legs.

Snare Drum is one of the eligible debuters for TPOT.  

Appearance

Snare Drum appears to be a snare drum. In BFB 15, they were black.

In their audition, Onigiri throws a cannonball from their audition onto their lid, making a drum sound. They don't seem to be harmed by this, rather amused.

They are an emerald green plastic tape dispenser with a roll of tape inside.

VHSy is one of the eligible debuters for Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two, which first appeared in "The Escape from Four".

Appearance

VHSy is a VHS tape. Their first design had a different color, which consisted of white, red, blue, and yellow. Their current design consists of an orange gradient, where the face is located.

Trivia

  • Their recommender, squib, also has another character in the debut, Battery.
    • Their recommender is one of two recommenders to get two of their characters in the debut.
  • They are the first character whose name starts with a V.

Audition

Their audition is of them rewinding a loose tape coming out of them.

Winner

Winner is a recurring recommended character, recommended by "Get Whipped".

Winner made their first appearance on "Today's Very Special Episode" and was recommended again in "Four Goes Too Far". Winner's design predates to "Puzzling Mysteries", similar to Loser. They are one of the 26 recommended characters that will have a chance of joining TPOT.

Audition

Winner's audition is them showing a big arm and waving to the viewer.

Appearance

Winner appears to be a pile of periwinkle fluff with darker periwinkle spots and blotches on their body. In two of Winner's appearances ("Puzzling Mysteries" and "Today’s Very Special Episode"), Winner has a single, also periwinkle arm extending from their body, though they're armless when their limb is not present. In BFDI 7, Winner had no face and limbs, and they had the word "WINNERS" across their body, in all caps. They also appear bigger.

Coverage

Winner is a recommended character from "Today's Very Special Episode",  and is based on the representation of the winning team from "Puzzling Mysteries". Winner reappeared in 4 episodes of BFB as a recommended character.

In "The Escape from Four", 8-Ball in the intro mentions that he loves Loser 8 times more than Winner. Winner appears as one of the 26 potential new contestants. They could be voted for by typing [Z].

Trivia

  • Winner may be the only character to only have 1 arm.
  • Winner's BFDI asset is a modified cloud asset with dark spots and colored blue.
  • Winner's recommender's username on Patreon is actually "Get Whipped!", though it, like all names, was shortened for the nameplate for Winner.
