For recommended characters, see List of recommended Algebraliens.

Subscriber Specials[]

Twelve[]

Twelve (12) is an integer who debuted in the credits of "Thanks for 2,000,000 Subscribers!" and makes reoccurring cameos.

Appearance[]

Twelve is a poorly-drawn, yellow Arabic numeral twelve (12). They have a yellow body and limbs that are more lightly-colored.

Personality[]

Not much is known about Twelve, apart from the fact that four of them were seen dancing in the credits and that they seem to be a bit mischievous, considering their graffiti at the start of "Thanks for 2,763,000 Subscribers!".

Powers and abilities[]

Twelve likely doesn't have any powers since they aren't seen absorbing any power from the Yoylite in Alone.

Gallery[]

Sixteen[]

Sixteen (16) is a minor Algebralien that was seen in the video "Thanks for 2,000,000 Subscribers!:, They later made a significant appearance in Thanks for 4 years of Thanks for 4 years of Thanks for 4 years of Thanks for 4 years!

Appearance[]

Sixteen is a poorly-drawn Arabic numeral sixteen. They have a lavender body and limbs that are more lighter colored.

Personality[]

According to the Division Book, 16 is assumed to be a fearful person: "16 is kind of a scaredy-cat, so I don't think they would be that keen to split themselves up like this."

Powers and abilities[]

Sixteen likely doesn't have any powers since they aren't seen absorbing any power from the Yoylite in Alone.

Trivia[]

  • Sixteen is one of the 5 numbers without a voice actor (yet), the others being Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen And Twenty.
  • It is possible that their description in the Division Book is a reference to BFB splitting into two seasons in "The Escape from Four", the season's sixteenth episode.

Twenty-Four[]

Okay, Zero. This has been a long game. You've won the most money EVER in this show's history!

Twenty-Four (24) is an Integer that appeared in "Thanks for 2,763,000 Subscribers!" They are the host of a gameshow, with one of the rounds being a spelling bee. They are voiced by Benjamin Cross.

Appearance[]

Twenty-Four appears as a hot pink colored number 24 with slightly different pink limbs. They sport a little black tie on the bottom right corner of the two part of their body.

Trivia[]

  • Twenty-Four's voice references Host Bug, likely due to both being game show hosts and sharing the same voice actor.
  • Them being a game show host may be because both Two and Four are hosts of BFDI, since they are a 2 and 4.
  • Twenty-Four is most likely named Twenty-Four because in Insectophobe's Nightmare 2 (BFDI 24,) Goiky gets taken over by bugs, and Twenty-Four's voice actor is the same one as Host Bug. This is probably coincidental though.
  • Coincidentally, Twenty-Four debuts in Thanks for 2,763,000 Subscribers!. The first subscriber special short to release after 2024 ended.

Sixty-Three[]

You four have won the Algebra Elementary Spelling Bee! How does it feel?

Coverage[]

Gallery[]

Trivia[]

  • Sixty-Three might've been chosen because it is the last two digits of 2,763.

Unknown algebraliens in power[]

The unknown algebraliens in power are presumed algebraliens that are mentioned in "Thanks for 2,000,000 Subscribers!". One of them appears as a silhouette in the Book of Division.

Little is known about these entities, except that they hid the division symbol away out of fear that it could be used against them.

The Number Playground Chronicle![]

Divide Operator[]

Why 'mi laffing? So this comic has more laffs!

Divide Operator is a Operator character who made their first and only appearance in "The Number Playground Chronicle!". They created the comic "Divide, Guys!", which was negatively received by critics. There was an obelus in "Thanks for 2,000,000 Subscribers!" and "Pie Vs Pi: The Pi Day Massacre", seen as a mythical operation sign, although it doesn't seem related to them.

Appearance[]

Divide Operator is an Operator shaped like an obelus.

Personality[]

Divide Operator is seen as a jovial and fun person, laughing and enjoying doing so. Despite this, many unseen characters seem to dislike Divide Operator.

Trivia[]

  • With the existence of the division symbol in the Subscriber specials, it is unclear if Divide Operator actually exists anymore.

Gallery[]

Nonagon Polygon[]

Nonagon Polygon trying to brag? NO! No way. What? I am? You wrong!

Nonagon Polygon is a Polygon character who made their first and only appearance in "The Number Playground Chronicle!". They wrote an entire article about themselves, "Nonagon Polygon Has No Fifth, uh... "A, B, C, D, blank, F" what's in a BLANK in Nonagon's writing!" in Section A.

Appearance[]

Nonagon Polygon is a Polygon with nine sides.

Personality[]

Nonagon Polygon is an unintelligent character with poor grammar, and is incredibly defensive to any opposition to them being smart or appealing. They refer to themself in the third person. However, this could be because they were attempting to write without the letter e.

Trivia[]

  • Nonagon Polygon is one of the three Algebraliens confirmed to have a pet, with the other two being Six and Nine. In this case, Nonagon Polygon's pet is a dog, whom they take out for walks and describe as fat.
  • Nonagon Polygon has been depicted to have dandruff, which is dead skin that has flaked off in hair. Algebraliens have never been depicted with hair of any kind, making the term "dandruff" incorrect.
  • Although there was a recommended character called "Nonagon Polygon" in BFDIA, this was not the actual Nonagon and was instead a reference to the Animatic Battle character of the same name. It should be noted that this was an accident, as the person who recommended Nonagon in this episode wanted their recommendation to be for the actual Nonagon Polygon.[3]

  • Not counting Nonagon Polygon, who wrote an article all about themselves, Rectangle Polygon has the most total contributions in the Number Playground Chronicle, with 5.

Gallery[]

Trivia[]

  • The phrase "XФXLL" is included in the first panel of the "Face" comic written by Triangle Polygon. It means "your name?" (As revealed under Triangle Polygon's segment)

Appearance[]

Octahedron Polyhedron is a Polyhedron shaped like an octahedron.

Personality[]

Octahedron Polyhedron is a very insightful and curious Algebralien. He wants to have an equal opportunity at reporting upon topics, to the annoyance of Rectangle Polygon, whom Octahedron finds to be selfish. He also found his interview of Zero to be very enjoyable.

Trivia[]

  • Octahedron Polyhedron is the only member of his species (the Polyhedrons) to have been seen and depicted.
  • Octahedron Polyhedron has the second most contributions to the Number Playground Chronicle, at 3.

Gallery[]

Z Variable[]

Wait, where is it? Gosh, I can't find anyone! GAAAAH! Where is that [censored] Quadrilateral Polygon, that [censored]!?!?

  • Not counting revised storyboards for Battle for BFB, Z Variable is the only character to have used profanity, albeit completely censored.

Gallery[]

Trivia[]

Gallery[]

Appearance[]

Eleven is a poorly-drawn dark blue Arabic numeral eleven.

Coverage[]

Appearances[]

Powers and abilities[]

Eleven likely doesn't have any powers since they aren't seen absorbing any power from the Yoylite in Alone.

  • Eleven did not appear in Thanks for 1,500,000 subscribers alongside Twelve and Thirteen to create mystery, Eleven will not show up in BFDI anytime soon for a few years.[4]
  • Eleven is one of the 5 numbers without a voice actor (yet), the others being Twelve, Thirteen, Sixteen And Twenty.
  • Chronologically, Eleven is the second Algebralien to appear in the series. However, if counted by release dates of each episode, that title would go to Four.

Gallery[]

Ean[]

Oh, Black Hole. We go way back, you know me! I'm Ean, of course. The iconic 27th letter of the alphabet!

Ean (pronounced /eən/) (Ean) is a Variable character who first appeared in "Seasonal Shift". They are described as "the iconic 27th letter of the English alphabet".

Appearance[]

In "Seasonal Shift", they appear to be a lime green letter Ean, which appears to be somewhere between a T and a square root symbol. Unlike all other Algebraliens, they only have one leg.

Personality[]

Not much is known about them, because they only appeared once for a few seconds. However, they may have a personality similar to Two.

Coverage[]

Appearances[]

Trivia[]

  • There was actually a 27th letter of the alphabet, being the ampersand (&). However, since the late 19th century, it has been removed from the alphabet.
  • Ean is the first Algebralien with a speaking role to have only one leg.
  • Ean is the second variable to have a speaking role and host a season of BFDI, the first of course being X.
  • Ean is the first (non-recommended) Algebralien to be based on something completely made up.
  • Various facts about Ean have been revealed by their voice actor, Ian Woodside:
    • Concept art for Ean has existed since 2023.[6]
    • Ean represents the 'ean' (IPA:/ˈi͡ən/) sound in words like 'Caribbean'.[7]
    • Ian Woodside voiced the character solely due to them sharing a similar name.[8]
  • They are the third character voiced by Ian Woodside, following Gelatin and Printer.
  • Ean is the second algebralien with a speaking role to have missing limbs, the first one being One.
  • It is shown in "Alone" that Ean, along with Vrrrpt (see below), does not appear in 2009 whatsoever. It is possible that Ean was fabricated in a fake alternate timeline, and possibly does not even exist not even in the real timeline, before and after the events of The Shift.

Vrrrpt[]

And like the last ceremony, the cake this time is the 28th letter of the alphabet, Vrrrpt!

Vrrrpt[9] (Vrrrpt) (pronounced "verpt" /ˈvɜːɹpt/) is an Algebralien who appeared in "Seasonal Shift". They are based on the (fictional) 28th letter of the English alphabet after being affected by The Shift. They are used as a Cake at Stake prize.

Coverage[]

Appearances[]
Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two[]

In "Seasonal Shift", Ean uses them as the episode's cake, giving them to Black Hole. Unfortunately, this would be Vrrrpt's demise, as they're immediately sucked in.

Trivia[]

  • Vrrrpt is the first Algebralien to be limbless, and to be used as an episode's cake.
    • Excluding any recommended characters from other episodes, and non-canon characters, they are also the first algebraic variable to not have any spoken dialogue.
  • Vrrrpt is occasionally referred to "Verpt". (IPA: /ˈvɜːɹpt/). The proper spelling has been revealed on a TPOT 15 YouTube short with subtitles Jacknjellify made.
  • Vrrrpt is the third Algebralien to lack a full set of limbs, following One and Ean.

The subject of this article or section has never been given an official name stated either in the Battle for Dream Island series, or by jacknjellify; the current one is unofficial.

Eighth Note (♪) is a character who appeared in Lo-Fi Beats to Yoyle To on TV's screen.

Unseen characters[]

All the characters below are only mentioned in the phone book section of "The Number Playground Chronicle!" on page A12 of Section A.

  • One-Quarter Fraction
  • One-Third Fraction
  • Three-Quarters Fraction
  • Minus Operator
  • Plus Operator
  • Octagon Polygon
  • Dodecahedron Polyhedron
  • Icosahedron Polyhedron
  • Tetrahedron Polyhedron

All the characters below are credited in "The Number Playground Chronicle!"

  • One-Half Fraction (took the photo of "Fooming Three" on page A5 of Section A)
  • Phi Irrational (wrote the article "Great Dancers in the Equation Playground" in Section A)
  • Square Root operator (took the photo of X saying "Oh, I don't know. I just don't know what I am, what my value is." from "X Finds Out His Value")
  • Times Operator (designed cover of Section C)
  • Undecagon Polygon (took the photo of Four, X, and Seven dancing from of "X Finds Out His Value" on page A2 of Section A)
  • Cube Polyhedron (made the cover of Section B)
  • N Variable (took the photo of Bubble Co. squeezing through the recession on page B4 of Section B)

Scared/Dumb[]

Scared of Tripping, or Dumbfounded by Square Polygon (also known as Scared and Dumb), is the nickname to an unseen character inquiring in an editorial by Square Polygon. They asked Square Polygon on how to not trip, in which Square Polygon gave very basic, unhelpful advice. They are not listed in the Phone Book section of "The Number Playground Chronicle!", so it is very likely that this is simply an alias for whomever was deciding to write in to Square Polygon.

Y[]

Y is an Algebralien and Variable character who is mentioned in "The Number Playground Chronicle!". She is credited for taking the photo of Four with an extended arm holding a pencil from "X Finds Out His Value" on page A8 in Section A, as well as the cover of Section C.

While Y has never been seen in an official Battle For Dream Island episode, the Carykh video "The worst lie Mickey Mouse has ever told" depicts a green Algebralien representing the lowercase variable Y. However, text appearing in the corner right after she shows up confirms that the character is not canon, even briefly shouting out this specific wiki as well. The green Y can be depicted here sleeping.

During the BFDI x Inanimate Insanity Experience in Los Angeles, when asked why Two did not appear in "X Finds Out His Value", Cary responded by stating that he always thought Two was out somewhere helping Y.

There is also a recommended character who is a Y in "What Do You Think of Roleplay?" and "Return of the Rocket Ship"; however, they are named "whY" and are yellow, resembling a Y version of X.

In November 2025, jacknjellify posted a screenshot of "The worst lie Mickey Mouse has ever told" where the green version of Y shows up, along with the caption "Isn't it crazy that the only time Y has shown up, she's been sleeping? It's like bro, this is your chance in the spotlight WAKE UP!"

Gallery[]

Thirteen[]

Thirteen (13) is a non-canonical Algebralien who is between Twelve and Fourteen. They were sketched by Ian Woodside in a livestream.

Gallery[]

Twenty[]

Twenty (20) is a non-canonical Algebralien that appeared in an X post[13] by @kalegendary that had some concept art for Alone.

Appearance[]

Twenty is the Arabic numeral twenty (20), with a lavender blue body and periwinkle-colored limbs.

Personality[]

Not much about Twenty is shown at the moment, but judging by their pose, they appear to be mischievous and devious, which explains their somewhat menacing smile.
