A recurring recommended character is a recommended character that appears throughout the series multiple times. The generally accepted number of appearances a recommended character must have before it is considered "recurring" is 3. However, this minimum does not apply to recommended characters brought onto the show by Patreon.

In BFDI, Apple appears as a generic red apple with a stem and one green leaf. In BFB they become green.

Ball is a recommended character who first appeared in BFDI 13 and last appeared in BFB 29. They have appeared in 10 episodes total. They were first recommended by Jaysillyboy.

In BFDI 13-18 and BFB 15-16, they are a blue bouncy ball, but in BFDI 19 and BFB 23 their color changed to red and in a second appearance in BFDI 19 and in BFB 29 they are yellow green with a texture onto them.

Banana[]
Banana is a recommended character who first appeared in BFDI 14 and last appeared in BFB 29. They have appeared in 6 episodes total. They were first recommended by englishcreamcakes. They also probably appeared in the lost media show Total Fruit Island, and were a possible debuter for the second season of Inanimate Insanity.

In BFDI 14 to 25, they are a yellow Banana that is unpeeled, but in BFB 2 their color changed to a darker yellow and is peeled showing the pulp of the banana.

Biscuit is a Battle for BFB recurring character. They first appeared in "Today's Very Special Episode", later appears in "Four Goes Too Far" and "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", was their last appearence. They also have an evil version that appeared in "This Episode Is About Basketball".
Boblob[]
Boblob is a recommended character, recommended by NeonTehWolf, that first appeared in BFB 16 and last appeared in BFB 30. In total, they have appeared in 14 episodes.

Bowling Ball[]
Bowling Ball is a recommended character who first appeared in BFDI 16, and last appeared in BFB 15. They have appeared in 6 episodes total, however they appeared multiple times in two of the episodes, meaning they have appeared a total of 9 times.

In BFDI 16 - BFB 15 Bowling Ball is grey with 3 holes in them, though a yellow Bowling Ball also appears in BFB 16, and an indigo one also appears in BFB 15. One of the Bowling Balls in BFDI 16 also uses its three holes as its face. In BFB 2 they are purple.

Bushy[]
Bushy is a recommended character that first appeared in BFDI 14 and last appeared in BFB 30. In total, they have appeared in 14 episodes.
Appearance[]
In BFDI 14, Bushy is a fairly rounded green bush with brown bark. In BFDI 17 the bark becomes brighter and more detailed, and they lose their limbs. In BFB 13 Bushy is the exact same shape as Cloudy with no bark and added leaf decals. In BFB 18 onwards they appear to be a shorter Tree with darker grass and bark, appearing to have had a blue filter placed over it; They also have their limbs again.

- The BFDI-era Bushy asset is also used for Yoyleberry bushes, and the bush that went to the TLC in BFDI 24.
- The BFB 13 Bushy is a contestant in Object Cringe, in which they are confirmed to be nonbinary.
- In BFB 13, they had the exact same shape as Cloudy.
- This is because Object Cringe's Bushy was shaped like a cloud.
- The recommender for BFB 13 Bushy made Object Cringe.
- This might have been in reference to the original Super Mario Bros game, in which the bushes were recolored cloud sprites.
- However, in BFB 18 onward, they appear more similar to Tree instead.
