Lighto (2016 Version)[]
Lighto (2016 Version) is the original version of Lighto before its remaster for the BFDI music visualizer in 2020.
It first played in the video The NYC 2016 BFDI Meetup in the beginning of the video. It plays in BFB 19. A version that is the same length as the original mix of Lighto plays in BFB 2, but is different several ways and shares more similarities with the 2020 remaster of Lighto, just without the drop.
Burst[]
Burst is a track that never plays in BFB, but has been used in other Jacknjellify videos. The track shares many similarities with Shirtsong leading some to belive that it is a remix of Shirtsong, though it could be the case that Burst predates the released version of Shirtsong.
A version of Burst plays throughout the video How to Fold your Foldy.
In the leaked filenames there were four different tracks whose names included "Burst":
- burst censored.m4a
- burst extended.m4a
- burst p2.m4a
- burst.m4a
And there's another which shares many similarities with the tracks containing "Burst":
- telling me v2.mp3
So far only burst extended, burst p2, and telling me v2 have been played in a livestream.
Burst Extended[]
Burst Extended was the first version of burst to be played in a Humany livestream.[2] The track contains vocal samples from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic songs. The second half uses vocal samples from "What my Cutie Mark is Telling Me"; a song from the season 3 episode "Magical Mystery Cure".
Burst Censored[]
It is unknown exactly what Burst Censored sounds like, but the most popular theory is that it is similar to either burst or burst extended with fewer vocal samples. This may have also been the version of Burst heard in TPOT 6, but this is unclear. Before its identification, it was given the remix track number 3.
Burst p2[]
Burst p2 was seen in the filenames and played in a Humany livestream.[3] It is different from the other known variations in that it has no My Little Pony vocal samples.

Unreleased tracks[]
This section lists all tracks that had their names confirmed, but haven't been originally released. Many of these were found by the leaked filenames of Michael's music. In a video by Cary titled "The mind-numbing problem with DistroKid (and online music distribution in general)" he included screenshots of the BFB music folder. From these filenames some theories were made and some of them were identified, but many of the unknown filenames were left unidentified. When Cary started streaming weekly on his channel "Humany" some people requested that he play some of the filenames so they could find out what they were. So far there have been 13 streams where 72 tracks from the folder have been played. Almost all of the tracks were officially released on June 14, 2024.
Tracks sent by request from Michael over Discord (such as Bnob, Minutes, and Chorkey) are not included in the following section.

Trancey[]
Trancey is a track Michael made that never played in BFB, but is in the BFB music folder. It was found when it was played in a Humany livestream.[16] A older version of the track is used in Salmon Fiveyears, now it has been updated with there being more clear vocals and new percussions. Trivia and theories[]
- "Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy" and "happy fun time candy cover" are most likely named after Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy from Yoshi's Island and "Happy Fun Candy Time" from the Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures soundtrack.
- Surprisingly, an unknown track that contains the melody and chords from "Happy Fun Candy Time" plays in BFB 23, possibly confirming that the file "happy fun time candy cover" has been identified.
- If you search "Owl City - Tip of the Iceberg (Verlis Remix)" on YouTube, you'll find a channel called notverlis that only uploaded 2 videos since 2013. That same channel has also uploaded another song called "biped" which has the same name as another one of the files. Both songs have a similar music style to Michael's music style and since it's in a folder containing music made by Michael, many say that these tracks were created by Michael.
- Biped playing in TPOT 3 officially confirms this.
- In the source files for the BFB intro, the music is called "bfdi plodder.wav" which is the same as one of the files in the video heavily suggesting that bfdi plodder or something similar is the name of the music in the BFB intro.
- Similarly, in the leaked IDFB intro source file, the music is "dada-160806.mp3" which seems to suggest that dadaaa is the name of the music in the IDFB intro.
- The file called "badum-cake-at-stake" could possibly be the cake at stake song for BFB, though this is partly speculative. It is also theorized that "badum" is the instrumental version of the BFB cake at stake song.
- Cary posted a file called "abacaba theme boys" on the HTwins Central Discord server which sounds exactly like the ABACABA outro. The reason that it's called this is because the first video on the ABACABA channel was on the history of girl's names which had a slightly different outro. The second video on the channel was an the history of boy's names and had the current version of the outro.
- "abacaba theme melody" is theorized to be remix track 8 because it sounds exactly like the ABACABA outro theme but with no layers but the melody.
- "coins wrong sidechain" is theorized to be the version of Coins that plays in BFB 13 because it's like Coins, but with the sidechaining different.
- Some say that "tent" is unknown track 29 because one file is called "tent-for-bfdia6-scrap4" and UT29 plays in the bfdia6 deleted scene video.
- elecman might be named after Elec Man from Megaman. This might indicate that track has a similar melody to Elec Man's stage music from that game.
- Chug2 is theorized to just be a part of Chugvolution, while Chugvolution is theorized to be a combination of unreleased tracks by Michael supposedly named "Chug" and numbered like Chug2.
- Burst censored is theorized to be Burst but without the vocals.
- Burst p2 is theorized to be a part of Burst, while Burst-extended is theorized to be a longer version of Burst, as the name implies.
- Paper world is the file name of "Is It Really A Work In Progress If No Progress Is Happening", as confirmed in "First-ever GOTH drawing stream with Eggy voice actor (Drawing requests will close at 7:11 PM PST)".
- Poopy's main tune is based on "Take Off and Land" by Kitsune².
- Satomi confirmed on Twitter that g never gave tracks to DC and had only ever given tracks to one other person.[19]
- Before its identification Tropical And was actually thought to be 3 different tracks. The first section was given the unknown track number 8, the second was often referred to by its fake name "Cruncley" until it was given the unknown track number 69, and the third part was given the unknown track number 82. When the track was identified all 3 numbers were retired.
