The Northern Desert is a location in northern Goiky that appears in Battle for BFB and Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two. It was the main setting of Battle for BFB from "Uprooting Everything" to "Chapter Complete".
The desert formerly contained the World's Largest Oven until "Category One" and is the location of the Abandoned TV Studio.

In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", 
runs through the desert trying to catch their basket while half of Ice Cube's body melts there.
In "Uprooting Everything", the desert becomes the location of BFB, after Flower suggested to move outside of The Pillary Ruins in the previous episode, due to it being overpopulated by several recommended characters.
In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", Four seeps into the Earth, combining with the desert and coloring it blue with four-shaped cacti.
In "SOS (Save Our Show)", a large crack is formed in the ground of the desert during the stinger.
In "Chapter Complete", the desert returns back to normal as Four leaves to sink into the Pillary Ruins.
The challenge for the BFDI Mini Delicious episode "Survive The Desert" takes place in this desert.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Death P.A.C.T. Again goes to the desert to mend The World's Largest Oven that got its glass panel shattered by Lightning.
In "Bottle For Dream Island", the ferris wheel rolls through the desert. While it rolls, Pen mixes a chunk of Snowball and a bowl of gasoline to create glue.

Gelatin's icon
- The desert is warm enough to melt Ice Cube.
- Gelatin's voting icon appears to have the desert in the background. This "desert" in the icon, however, is also a simple gradient that comes prepackaged with the color tools in Adobe Flash, so it may simply be a coincidence.
- This location is the third main area in Battle for BFB; the first were the Grasslands, and the second were the Pillary Ruins.
- Despite being presumably located in northern Goiky, the cast was able to drive from the desert to the Evil Forest in "Chapter Complete", despite it being in southern Goiky. After going through the Evil Forest, they ended up in The Pillary Ruins, which is also presumably in northern Goiky. It is unlikely that it was a different forest, as the Evil Canyon can also be seen on their journey.
