I'll fix this! Okay, I'll fix it, I'll fix it-

— One, "Alone"

One (1) is an Algebralien and the main antagonist of Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two. She made her first canon appearance in the stinger of "Outbreak At Stake", where she emerges from the damaged Moon, which she was ostracized in by Four and the other Algebraliens after the murder of her friend Three in 2009. Prior to that, she first debuted in "X Finds Out His Value" and was shown as a recommended character in "The Tweested Temple".

She had her first major role in "What's Up Bell's String?", where she is seen kidnapping characters and making deals with them. Her main motivation becomes clear in "Alone", being to retrieve the powers from all of the other Algebraliens in order to undo the death of Three.

Appearance[]

One is a light blue Arabic numeral one (1), being based off the design of the "1" with a base (𝟷), likely taken from the original Minesweeper. The diagonal part and base of the "𝟷" are misaligned, the former more far off to the left. Unlike almost all well-known Algebraliens, One doesn't have any arms.

Sometimes, One's eyes appear to protrude outside her body, and on some occasions, they appear slimmer and more tilted, including when she is enraged.

In "Alone", her imagination and sticker form show her having eyelashes.

Changes[]

X Finds Out His Value[]

  • One is drawn with shape tools.
  • One is armless and legless.
  • One is animated using rigs.
  • One's face is located at the top half of her body.
  • One is a neutral shade of blue.

BFB 23-24 (cave drawing)[]

  • One is portrayed by a typeface numeral with sloppily-drawn limbs and facial features.
  • One gains arms.

BFB 25[]

  • One is hand-drawn.
  • One is a much lighter shade of blue.
  • One's face is located at the center of her body.
  • One's eyes are farther apart from each other.
  • One has less rounder edges.
  • One becomes armless again.

BFB 27[]

  • One reverts to her BFB 23 design.

TPOT[]

  • One reverts to her BFB 25 design.
  • One is less sloppily drawn.

Personality[]

One is nonchalant, calm and seemingly helpful, but is very manipulative and malicious under the surface. She seems to constantly observe the contestants and knows their vulnerabilities very well, which she exploits to convince (or blackmail) them into signing her deals, often for rewards she may or may not actually give.

One is easily irritable and gets annoyed when people are hesitant or resistant to her and gets enraged when people defy her, like Donut and Leafy do in "Last One Standing". The episode shows One to be incredibly cruel and manipulative, showing no remorse for the destruction and deletion of contestants that she is responsible for, as well as convincing Pencil to give her all of Two's and Four's power. She is also very power-hungry, conspiring to take Two (and later Four’s) power and gleefully fidgeting with it when she finally gets it in "Last One Standing".

In the past, prior to her isolation, One appears to be a nice but lonely person, eager to make friends with the other Algebraliens, eventually befriending Three. However, she also acts impulsively and doesn't realize what she's doing until it's too late, killing Three for betraying her before desperately trying to fix it. She tries hard to patch things up that she did wrong, in fear of not being accepted and remaining alone. After being locked up inside the Moon, her desire for revenge against the others (especially Four) grew, although she still showed remorse for her actions.

Even in the present day, she still is hurt by her loneliness, evident when she forcefully kicked Leafy out of her dimension after her constant remarks of One being alone and sad, meaning she still holds some amount of insecurity despite her antagonistic behavior. Overall, One is shown to be vengeful and manipulative, but below the surface, regretting and lonely.

Powers and abilities[]

  • Nigh-Omnipotence: One has been shown to possess near-limitless power, though she admits to being weaker than Two and, by extension, Four, in her line, "I do have power, but not enough." This could imply either genuine inferiority or simply her desire for even greater strength, as her primary motivation is to obtain Two's power. Even without Two's power she is still unimaginably powerful, showing near-unrestricted control over space, time, matter, and energy. She can seemingly grant any request made in her deals, such as restoring lost limbs or reversing changes to someone's personality. Her power is most prominently displayed in "Seasonal Shift", when she stabilizes reality with just a snap before the rift in space-time opened. Overall, One can achieve almost anything imaginable, showing that even if she falls short of Two and Four's powers, she remains a godlike entity in her own right.
    • Super strength and/or telekinesis: In "Outbreak At Stake", she may have kicked a hole through the Moon in the second post-credit scene, or used telekinesis to break a piece of it off. In "What's Up Bell's String?", she used telekinesis to hold Fanny's new mouth and the contract list. She is also able to easily kick the Earth away in "Last One Standing", though this was shown after she gained most of Two's and all of Four's powers from Pencil. Doing this would take over 10^17 megajoules of power.
    • Nigh-Omnipresence: One can be seen being in some of the contestant's dreams and hiding in plain sight in certain scenes. The contestant's dreams include: Black Hole, Pen, Winner, Barf Bag, and Book, but One is still in reality, meaning she can be in multiple places at the same time.
    • Technology/Electricity manipulation: As seen in "Category One", One is able to manipulate Robot Flower's mind to go back to her previous self, and it's implied that they're also capable of making her personality even more destructive. She can also appear inside screens, as seen in the beginning of "Seasonal Shift".
    • Reality warping: One has the ability to change, create, or even destroy parts of Dreamier Island, the Grasslands, and possibly any other places indirectly only by using a miniature of the location she wants to warp in her dimension. She is also able to make the rift in space-time shoot out reality-warping lightning bolts via her miniature in "Last One Standing".
      • Anomaly removal: In "Seasonal Shift", she was powerful enough to restore the universe to a more stable state before the rift in space-time opened, effectively undoing much of the damage caused by time travel. However, since the rift itself was only reduced to a manageable level for Black Hole rather than erased entirely, this suggests either she lacked the strength to completely fix it, or, more likely, she chose not to, keeping the rift intact as leverage over her future victims. This is consistent with her willingness to endanger all of existence itself, knowing she remains completely safe within her own dimension.
      • Atmokinesis/Weather manipulation: In "Category One", with her ability to warp reality, One can change the weather and create storms to cause havoc.
      • Chronokinesis/Time manipulation: In "Last One Standing", One is revealed to be able to remove people from existence, some of these include: Basketball, Gaty, and Barf Bag.
    • Teleportation: One is able to teleport herself and other people as seen in "What's Up Bell's String?".
    • Super speed: In "What's Up Bell's String?", during the Team Swap, One runs around shuffling the contestants, finishing in just 17 frames, or less than a third of a second, all while Two is looking away. By the time that someone says something, One has jumped back into the bush, leaving Two and all of the contestants oblivious to what happened.
    • Conjuration: One can create objects out of thin air, as seen when she conjures a document for Fanny to sign in "What's Up Bell's String?", creating body parts to offer Ice Cube and Fanny, or in "Seasonal Shift", where she creates a remote while talking with Gaty to show her what happened to the eliminated contestants she took.
    • Pocket dimension: As seen in "What's Up Bell's String?" and "Category One", One can create pocket dimensions and manipulate the contents at will.
    • Black hole immunity: As One was shuffling the contestants, she moves Black Hole effortlessly without being warped by his gravity. In "Last One Standing", One teleports Black Hole to her pocket dimension without any issues.
    • Body manipulation: One's foot extends and grows in size as shown in "What's Up Bell's String?", in order to grab Fanny.
    • Power draining: In "Seasonal Shift", she drains the Yoylite pieces of their time traveling powers, and it's implied she can do this to other Algebraliens as well, either via her contracts or draining them of their powers forcefully.
    • Obfuscation: In "Bottle For Dream Island", she is able to ensure that certain contestants (notably, Tennis Ball), and even Four, cannot comprehend the research that Ice Cube and Fanny done on her, by obfuscating the contents of the whiteboard along with Pillow's research notes when Golf Ball tries to read over them. In "Last One Standing", Four is able to reverse One's obfuscation effect on the whiteboard.
    • Dismemberment (possibly): In "Bottle For Dream Island", she is able to use her own telekinesis to take Donut's legs by force. This may just be a use of her telekinesis rather than it's own ability.
    • Almost all of Two and all of Four's powers: In "Last One Standing", Pencil signs One's deal to give away all of her power, which were from Two and Four. Snowball still has a part of Two's power, meaning she does not have it all. Her on-screen uses of these powers include shooting lasers out of her eyes that easily destroy faraway planets, killing aliens, bending, warping, and kicking the Earth, and flying through space at super-speed.
    • Nine’s powers: In “Alone”, One is seen absorbing Nine and gaining their power, after destroying their planet.

Coverage[]

Appearances[]

Non-canon appearances[]

In "X Finds Out His Value", X finds out that his value is seven, which is considered to be a lucky number. One is seen watching Four & X with a frown on their face. Three, who is next to One, is also seen angry at Four & X, likely due to One & Three forming a thirteen, which is considered an unlucky number, and grunts.

One appeared in the modern art style for the first time as a recommended character in "The Tweested Temple", which revealed One is armless.

One is mentioned by Four in "Thanks for 1,000,000 subscribers!", but never makes an appearance. Once Four tells Nine that the subscriber count has reached 1,000,000 subscribers, Four tries to find One (and possibly another Zero) but he can't, and everyone decides that finding Ten is the best alternative. Seven also mentions that One is his BFF and asks Ten if they could take his place in the subscriber count.

Background[]

At some point before the events of Battle for Dream Island, in 2009, One was sealed away by Four, specifically in the moon, where she remained there for 14 years after she damaged Three's value. Some, if not all of the other Algebraliens are aware of this, and seem to support this decision as implied in "Last One Standing".

Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two[]

In "Outbreak At Stake", One breaks herself out of the moon to greet the audience. This is One's first canonical appearance outside of the credits.

In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", One doesn't have a major role, but is hidden in numerous scenes. Some of them are quick, while others are easily noticeable.

In "Out Of The Blue", One makes several more cameos. When Bracelety throws Roboty's plunger while behind Pencil's back while in the EXIT and after the EXITors managed to escape from Four's mouth, One can be seen blending in with a bush in the background, and for a split-second, her face can be seen as Four grabs the EXITors with their hand. One's other cameo is in the stinger, where they are seen as a drawing upon Purple Face entering the EXIT.

In "What's Up Bell's String?", One is first seen after teleporting Bomby and Bell behind a bush. She says it would be a great idea for them to get to know each other, teleporting the two alongside herself away. When the teams begin to swap, One switches up all the contestants to form them before they can choose them. During the challenge, One grabs Fanny and teleports her to an unknown location.

One in .

One in TPOT.

The two sit down in chairs. One tries to spark up a conversation, and also mentions that she had been watching them for a while. She offers Fanny a new mouth, convincing her she was one of Two's old friends, adding that they could help each other out. Fanny reluctantly agrees, and gets her mouth back. One makes her sign a contract before teleporting her back to the grasslands.

One then teleports to the moon where Ice Cube was inside. She offers Ice Cube a new pair of legs, asking if she was down to make a deal. After the credits, Basketball watches One walk in the forest from behind a bush. One pulls out a list with several contestants, before greeting Basketball with no eye contact. She then teleports Basketball and themself away.

In "Category One", One shows a more sinister side. She kidnaps Basketball and shows her what her plan is to take Two's power. She then proceeds to try to convince Basketball to sign a deal. One blackmails her into doing this, by offering to restore Robot Flower, and if Basketball didn't help, she would disappear like Needle and Barf Bag. Basketball eventually agrees to sign the contract, to restore Robot Flower and remove the storm. One does not completely follow the agreement however, as she restores Robot Flower but keeps the storm. She also changed the whiteboard to allow two of the EXITors to join the game, instead of just one. It is implied One teleported Needle and Barf Bag to an unspecified location, only shown via some sort of recording device.

In "I SAID CAREFUL!!!", she briefly appears to spy on Gaty.

In "Seasonal Shift", One kidnaps Gaty and tries to convince her to agree to One's deal. One shows Gaty the list of contestants with Bell, Bomby, Fanny, Ice Cube, Barf Bag, Needle and Basketball all with ticked boxes next to their names. One then shows Gaty where the contestants who (presumably) didn't agree to One's deal went. One then helps everyone to remember the original timeline. One makes the Yoylite powerless when CloudYAY gets stuck in the past. Gaty then agrees to One's deal and reverts everything back to the original timeline.

In "The Power of Four", Fanny and Ice Cube start an investigation on One to find out as to why she's making deals with everyone, much to Two's depressed state over losing Gaty and Yellow Face's interruption. Ice Cube then notices her spying on Black Hole while he's trying to stabilize the crack in the sky and decides that they need someone reliable to help them, deciding that Donut and Golf Ball are the right people and goes to get them with Fanny, only for the two to accidentally get killed by Four. At the elimination, Ice Cube tells Fanny to let the word about One out, but also make sure she doesn't find out before being sucked into Two's elimination area by X. Later, after Tennis Ball gets tagged out during the hide and seek challenge, Fanny asks him to help her with the investigation on One.

In "Bottle For Dream Island", Fanny tries to show Tennis Ball the research she gathered on the whiteboard, but One uses her power to make him unable to clearly see it. As soon as Tennis Ball leaves, the drawing of One in the middle of the board comes alive and winks at Fanny before disappearing.

Later during the challenge, Donut gets launched into a dark room while trying to escape some spiders with Grassy and TV and ends up teleported to One's room, which looks completely torn apart and destroyed. One attempts to make a deal with him for new arms while watching as Bomby, Bell, Needle and Barf Bag arrive into the Equation Playground, where the four find Six hidden in a tree, who upon realizing that One sent them here leads them to the door that leads to the EXIT. As Donut is about to leave, One notices that he didn't sign the contract and attempts to manipulate him into going through with the deal, while also getting increasingly angry and claiming that it's okay for him to be a little selfish. Donut refuses the deal and kicks One away, causing her to snap and selfishly rip off his legs before kicking him into the portal and sending him back and angrily mutters to herself how he is useless.

At the end of the episode, One, still mad about Donut's refusal, dismisses her failure and crosses his name on her list, she then continues to watch as Six and the others reach Four's door and try to open it deviously. It is possible One locked the door as there can be a faint warping sound, trying to prevent Six to escape through Four's door with Bomby, Bell, Barf Bag and Needle with her telekinesis.

In "Last One Standing", One stands at the crack of the Moon, looking around the interior before landing on the crossed-out drawings of the algebraliens (excluding Two and Three). She remembers the words Four said while trapping her in the Moon, and how she couldn't escape again. She then hops out of the Moon, exclaiming that it's "too late", and teleports to her dimension. One briefly skims over her list of victims before walking up to the miniature version of the Grasslands and manipulating the rift, causing it to make violent lightning strikes. Black Hole, again, tries to stop this and minimize any damage. Eventually, the lightning strikes cause the sky to turn pitch black. Then, one of the lightning bolts strikes the ground, turning the entire environment into a hostile wasteland as the leaves fall off of every tree in the area. Although, at first, Four could not read Fanny's research of One, he eventually uses his powers to unscramble the whiteboard and finds out that One is back.

One can be seen watching Pencil, as she uses Two's powers to lift Fanny towards Black Hole, using him to kill her, which transfers Fanny's portion of Two's powers to Pencil. As this unfolds, One has a wide smile on her face. Later on, Four is searching for One in the Moon, unaware that One is watching him from a monitor. She then shifts her monitor screen to Purple Face in the EXIT, where he encounters Needle, Bomby, Bell, Barf Bag, and Six.

One kidnaps Donut a second time. He tries to escape, but One lifts him into the air and pulls him back. She tells him that their last encounter didn't go well, and explains that the Yoylites possess immense power, something she apparently hasn't accessed in a long time. She says it was helpful of the failed debuters to lead her directly to it, and ominously adds that Gaty would still be here if it weren't for them. When Donut asks where Gaty is, One casually replies that she's gone. Her monitor displays the scene in "The Great Goikian Bake-Off" where Four and X arrive, and Donut asks if it is David and Dora. While in the original episode, Gaty corrected Donut, saying it's Four and X, Gaty is no longer where she should've been on One's monitor, almost as if she never existed in the first place.

Donut, distressed, asks One if she can bring her back, and she replies with a nonchalant "probably". She blames everything on the contract, saying the only two who haven't signed it are Donut and "that annoying leaf" (Leafy). She then offers Donut another chance to hand over his share of Two's power, but he refuses again, fed up with her games. One, having had enough, grins and says ominously, "all done". Donut stares at her, confused and terrified. One's monitor reveals that Barf Bag has also been erased from existence, as the others are confused and worried where she has gone. Back with One and Donut, the monitor now shows a scene from TPOT 13 where Donut is sitting next to where Barf Bag was supposed to be, but she's gone. Donut, horrified, begs One to undo it. She refuses and threatens to remove another contestant unless he hands over the power, and Donut tells her to cut it out.

The scene shifts to the elimination area, where only Snowball and Basketball are awake, trying to escape while the others sleep. Snowball thanks Basketball for helping him, but suddenly, Basketball vanishes. Snowball drops to the ground in shock, confused and calling out for her, which wakes the rest of the eliminated contestants. This unfolds on One's monitor, revealing that Basketball has been erased from existence. One turns to Donut and asks if he's ready to go again. Reluctantly, Donut gives in and hands over the remaining power. One tells him he's finished, then promptly kicks him out. On the moon, Four looks at a drawing One made, with each of the Algebraliens crossed out. Four mutters that One brought this on herself before exiting.

Outside the Hotel, Black Hole is still focused on containing the massive crack in the sky when One appears beside him. He asks who she is, and One responds that they need to talk before teleporting him away to her domain, which while not killing him, eliminates him from the contest and puts his team up for elimination. Meanwhile, Pencil is climbing down a ladder when Liy appears and levitates her. Pencil retaliates by levitating Liy as well, but Four interrupts, blasting both of them and sending them crashing to the ground. Pencil quickly throws Liy at Four and sprints upstairs. Four and Liy tumble down the stairs.

On the roof, Pencil catches her breath. One suddenly appears and throws the rooftop lamp onto the floor near her. Four arrives and confronts Pencil, and Liy catches up, only to be struck when Pencil hurls the lamp at her, shattering her and putting BaggedBagged up for elimination. Four warns Pencil she doesn't even know how to use the power, and that there is a bigger threat they need to fight. Pencil, furious, cuts off Four mid-sentence and reminds him that he was the one who trapped her and the other EXITors and tormenting them for years. Four tries to attack, but Pencil dodges everything and begins draining Four's power and zapping him back. Four snaps his fingers, attempting to retaliate, but quickly realizes that Pencil has drained his powers dry. Pencil, now with the advantage, approaches Four, smiling. As Four begs her to stop, Pencil discharges a beam from her hand, sending him off the Hotel. As he plummets, One appears and catches Four with her powers and teleports them both away as Four begs for X to help, but it is unknown where the former got sent away to.

Pencil, now alone on the roof, tries to recover Liy using Four's powers, but fails. She hears a voice and turns to see One again, who claims she's on Pencil's side. Pencil tries to attack, but One remains unaffected. Calmly, One says she's been supporting Pencil all along, revealing that she altered the vote requirements to ensure Pencil made it onto the show. She empathizes with Pencil's desire to go back and fix the past, saying no one understands that better than she does.

Pencil, uncertain, asks if she can fix everything now that she has this power. One replies that her current power pales in comparison to what Pencil possesses. She proposes that Pencil give her the powers so she can set things right. Pencil hesitates, saying she doesn't even know who One is, but One reassures her, saying they're the same. Four trapped her too, on the moon for years, and that all One wants now is the power to make sure that never happens again.

The scene shifts to One's room. Pencil asks for confirmation that One will send her back and give her a second chance. One promises she will. Trusting her, Pencil zaps One with Two and Four's combined powers. At first One yells in pain, but she absorbs the combined power and gain it herself. Pencil tells One to send her back to the past, and One obliges before zapping her back to the past, as Pencil places second in the challenge.

One in space.

One in space.

With One's goal finally accomplished, One shoots on into space and, in possession of both Two and Four's powers, starts causing havoc across the entire universe. She first zaps a pair of nearby stars, destroys the Really Weird Planet in the Orion Nebula causing all of its alien life to fly away, and then proceeds to deform and kill one of the Aliens. Then she violently compresses and deforms the Earth before ultimately kicking it out of orbit before giggling and warping away. The immense force causes the Earth to eventually stop somewhere in interstellar space, away from the Sun.

In "Alone", it's revealed that One is lonely because the others won't hang out with her. Usually being ignored by the others, such as Two & Four. This leads her to wander off before she happens to find a meteorite of Yoylite. After finding out this gives her powers, she wants to use this as an opportunity to finally be acknowledged by the other numbers. She wants to reveal this to Three, but is ultimately worried the others might find out about the meteorite and ruin it, but does it anyway.

Three without knowing reveals it to the others, but she doesn't know about this but One knew so One got angry at Three for sharing powers, even though One doesn't understand that Three didn't know so she shatters her to pieces, traumatizing the algebraliens. She tries to recover Three, but when she did, Threes value was broken, traumatizing the algebraliens. Later One goes to the place where she found the Yoylite, but Four and X come over. X felt uncomfortable, but Four had no remorse, and held One with his powers. Four and the other algebraliens take One to the moon and open it, drop her in it, and then closed it with a magic seal so she couldn't use her powers to get out. She was stuck in the moon for 14 years. In TPOT 9 her backstory starts, and later in TPOT 15, it's revealed she made a deal with Leafy. Then at the end One puts depowered Four in the Moon, and does something Bad to Nine.

Trivia[]

  • One appears in the titles of "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", "Category One", "Last One Standing", and "Alone".
  • One is the only major Algebralien character to be armless.
    • As seen in "What's Up Bell's String?", One appears to grab Fanny with an arm, but it was later confirmed by the Jacknjellify TikTok account that it was actually her foot, with the account replying to a comment saying, "Nope, she is 100% #GripperLife".
  • One is one of the last Algebraliens to be featured in a video not as a recommended character since "X Finds Out His Value".
    • However, she isn't the latest. This title has been taken by Fourteen.
  • In the original storyboard of "X Finds Out His Value", One was supposed to say "Hmph!" first instead of Three.
  • One is the second Algebralien to have a female voice actor, with the first being Six, the third being Square Root of Two, and the fourth being Two Thousand, Seven Hundred, Sixty-Three and the fifth being Three.
    • Additionally, both One and Three's voice actors have the same first name.
  • One is one of the fifteen characters whose names has appeared in the title of an episode, along with Basketball, Bell, Bottle, Teardrop, Three, Four, X, Seven, Zero, Snowball, Donut, Black Hole, Puffball, & Taco.
  • One's cameo in TPOT was hinted at in a livestream by Cary when he was asked if One would appear in the future. His reply: "Cannot answer! That's something that you need to be patient to find the answer to."
  • One is the fourth Algebralien to have their first line spoken canonically, with the fifth being Six, the third being Two, the second being X, and the first being Four.
  • One's presence is very similar to how the Announcer was during the first half of BFDIA, as they were both incognito.
  • One is the first and only Algebralien who used telekinesis with her mind.
  • One has been seen alongside space/astronomical objects and motifs several times.
    • Her official debut begins by her coming out of the moon.
    • Her telekinesis power is star-shaped rather than the smooth undefined form of the other Algebraliens'.
    • What could possibly be her room also seems to be a space-themed room.
    • In "I SAID CAREFUL!!!", a drawing of her is held to a fridge by a magnet shaped like a moon.
  • From "What's Up Bell's String?" to "The Power of Four", every single contestant who struck a deal with or was confirmed to be captured by One was voiced by either Satomi Hinatsu or Pokey.
    • However, in "Bottle For Dream Island", she took Donut who wasn't voiced by either Satomi nor Pokey but instead by Michael Huang. He is the only character to refuse a deal with One, though, meaning every character to successfully make a deal with her are still voiced by Satomi and Pokey.
    • Since Leafy was revealed to be captured by One in "Last One Standing", this is the second character voiced by Michael to be captured by One.
    • The contestants that rejected her deal (Leafy and Donut [The latter at first]) were voiced by Michael.
    • In "Last One Standing", both Donut and Pencil accepted her deal, making them the first and second contestants respectively that accepted her deal (while being voiced by Michael), and the second and third contestants to be captured by One and be voiced by Michael.
  • In “I SAID CAREFUL!!!” during the scene where Gaty is washing dishes in the Hotel kitchen, a refrigerator is shown, with them, Two, Three and Four are displayed as drawings. Their drawing is held up by a yellow moon magnet, representing their connection to the moon. They are more distant from every other drawing, but they are the closest to Three.
  • It's possible that One knew that Pencil would take extreme measures to make it into the end of TPOT (wanting to time travel to change the events of her past), which is why they changed the number of contestants that will be joining TPOT.
  • They are the first Algebralien to lack a full set of limbs, followed by Vrrrpt.
  • She, Zero, Five, Eight, Fourteen, and Fifteen are the only main algebraliens to not be a host in TPOT 15.
  • One's motive to taking Two's (and everyone else's) power is revealed in "Alone". After killing Three and recovering her into an unstable state, she wanted to take everyone's powers in order to fully recover Three.
  • There is a pattern where One plays a major role in odd episodes while only making cameos in even episodes, excluding "What's Up Bell's String?"
    • However, the pattern breaks in "Alone".
  • It was revealed at the 2025 BFDI and Inanimate Insanity Tour that One is mainly inspired by Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls and The Devil from Cuphead.[4]
  • With her causing mass destruction of the Really Weird Planet in the Orion Nebula, she officially surpasses Blocky as having the highest kill count in the series.
  • One is a Capricorn, according to Leafy.
  • One's favourite contestant is most likely Pencil.[5]
  • One's color is also similar to One from Number Lore, and due to the fact that they are both the main antagonists of their respective series. They also have similar appearances and abilities, both having the same shape and color and an alternative way to pick up objects due to their lack of limbs.[1]
