Palmy is a contestant in BFDI Mini Resort as one of 10 recommended characters chosen to compete, originating from "Return of the Rocket Ship", using their design iteration from "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life" with alterations to their color scheme.
Appearance[]
Palmy is a palm tree with rich green leaves and a batch of yellow fruit hanging from them, most likely dates. The bark on their trunk is beige, being darker around the fronds directly underneath their leaves.

Personality[]
Despite their mischevious ">:3" face they express frequently, Palmy appears to be relatively strategic, partnering up with Rafty in "Build a Sandcastle!" to exploit Rafty’s progress for their benefit. Even with that in mind, they do end up actually contributing heavily to the sandcastle rather than just being lazy, adding lights and working fireworks. This can infer that Palmy is skillful at pyrotechnics as they're holding the button that activates the fireworks. They also seem to act quick when something is about to hit them, as they moved away from Diving Board when they could've accidentally collided with Palmy. They seem to be quite smug about doing things, hinting at overconfidence. They seem to be mad easily, as in “See shells on the sea shore” they immediately got angry at Watermelon Slice after they had kicked the seashell nearby.

Battle for BFDI[]
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Palmy is seen underground while A Better Name Than That is digging towards X's emerald.
In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Palmy is in the bottom corner of the batch of recommended characters after iance blows through the cross section in the lava. The lava later swallows them on the surface after Cake exclaims that everyone is probably already dead. They also appear during the credits.
In "The Four is Lava", Palmy is seen falling into the lava. Notably, they aren't in the batch with all of the Tree variants.
Battle for BFB[]
In "Chapter Complete", Palmy is seen during the first batch of credit recommended characters.
Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two[]
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Palmy is seen during the credits, doing a little dance.
BFDI Mini Resort[]
In "Catch the Frisbee!", Palmy is part of the batch shown finding the frisbees. They are paired with Rafty, and are the thrower. They throw the frisbee to Rafty, who manages to catch it, earning the two safety.
In "Build a Sandcastle!", Palmy is smug, walking quite slowly to start working on a sandcastle. They quickly notice Rafty's work, teaming up with them. They manage to set up lights and fireworks, while dodging Diving Board. When Sandcastle is viewing the creation, Palmy sets off the fireworks and turns on the lights with a press of a button.
In "See Shells on the Seashore!", Palmy notices a shell on the beach, running towards it until Watermelon Slice kicks it away. This greatly annoys them, Palmy berating Watermelon Slice until the shell comes back around, flying through Watermelon Slice and landing in Palmy's hands.

- They are the first recommended character from TPOT to be in the BFDI Mini series.
- They are so far the only $100 character to be in the BFDI Mini series.
- They are the 2nd BFDI Mini contestant to be a variant of Tree, with the first being Spruce Tree.
- Palmy is the only one of the three to not have "Tree" at the end of their name.
- Palmy is one of two contestants to have had their designs altered before competing in BFDI Mini Resort, the other is Sandcastle.
- Palmy is most often seen making a face similar to the ">:3" emoticon/kaomoji, which is a character trait shared with Naily and to a lesser extent, Price Tag.
