Pearl is a contestant in BFDI Mini Resort as one of 10 recommended characters chosen to compete, originating from "Get Digging", using their design iteration from "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4".
Appearance[]
Pearl is a pink pearl, which are primarily produced by freshwater mollusks in real life with a notable clear to opaque luster and are desirable for jewelry.

Personality[]
From the little amount of screen time Pearl has had, they seem to be a cheery and happy character. They're usually seen with a smile on their face. In "Build A Sandcastle", they immediately jump into building a beautiful pretty sandcastle with pretty pink & blue shells. It seems like they're proud of their sandcastle, smiling and admiring it before Diving Board comes in and destroys it. They seem justifiably angry after this, showing that even the prettiest and purest souls can have their breaking points. In "See Shells on the Seashore!" and "Take the Best Pictures", Pearl can be seen using a Box of Paper Slips to bribe the host and gain an advantage in the competition, showing that they'll do dubious methods of doing the challenge if that means they'll get far into the game.

Battle for Dream Island Again[]
In "Get Digging", the 25 top recommended characters are seen at the end of the episode. Pearl is #9 out of the 25.
In "Get in the Van", Pearl is in the anniversary wheel, along with many other recommended characters.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4", Pearl is in the front row of the crowd watching Pan Flute's performance. They are on the right side, third seat from the wall. They tell Report Card to be silent during the performance before Report Card gets poisoned by a swarm of bugs. Pearl was swallowed up by Golf Ball, but later shows up in the crowd poisoned[note 1] in the episode and "Well, Look Who It Is!".
In "Well, Look Who It Is!" they appears sinking when Pencil's speech is echoing across the water.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", Pearl is sitting the crowd watching the Cake at Stake.
BFDI Mini Resort[]
In "Catch The Frisbee", Pearl is part of the group who initially finds the frisbees. They are paired with Diving Board, and successfully catch the frisbee.
In "Build a Sandcastle!", Pearl builds a massive sandcastle for the challenge. They're shown to be proud of their work before it gets destroyed by Diving Board, who was too caught up chasing Sunscreen. They're shown to be really mad when Sandcastle is judging the sandcastles, due to their sandcastle being destroyed, even though they passed and survived elimination.
In "See Shells on the Seashore!", Pearl is seen bribing Sandcastle's seashell which is on the seashore by using a Box of Paper Slips lying around. They take the seashell and is declared safe.

- Pearl's recommender for Get Digging, AzelfStar, also recommended Deadly.
- Pearl is the only post revival BFDIA contestant in BFDI Mini Resort that didn't originate from "Launch Party".
- Pearl said "Shh! so rude!" In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4", this technically makes them the first BFDI Mini Resort contestant to speak despite them speaking before the season came out.
- Pearl is the third character who also appeared to have the same name as one of Ruby's sisters in ABCDEFG to appear as a contestant in a mini season.
