Pillow has made plentiful research occasionally. Here's a compilation of observations made by her in BFB and TPOT. Her research papers are currently in possession of Tennis Ball as of "Bottle For Dream Island".

Contents[]

Arm fluttering[]

Main article: Arm fluttering

The Twinkle[]

Pillow was seen observing Donut inserting the Twinkle of Contagion into himself and writing down her research on her notepad in "Four Goes Too Far". It is unknown what she wrote down.

Death's 'good luck'[]

In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Pillow demonstrated to Death P.A.C.T. Again that death causes good luck after being called by Fanny. They both later proceeded to kill Tree which caused the team to win the challenge, proving Pillow's point.

However, in "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", Pillow reconsidered her stance on the subject after seeing that death caused her team to lose the previous challenge, settling on the fact that good deeds cause good luck.

In "Seasonal Shift", when CloudYAY is stuck hanging on the bridge, Winner comes up with the idea to rip Scissors in half, and when they suggest that they and Pillow do this idea, they call it "creating some luck", to which Pillow smiles widely. Additionally, when Pencil tries entering Dream Island, Pillow tackles her, claiming that it would cause more "bad luck", as Pencil entering Dream Island would cause more time anomalies and potentially destroy the whole universe, which does almost happen when Leafy is let onto Dream Island by Firey after he sees Pencil and Pillow fighting.

In "Bottle for Dream Island", when Pillow was eliminated, her search papers was left behind and was shortly obtained by Golf Ball. Golf Ball had no idea what the writing in the notes means to her, so her and Tennis Ball swapped their researches with each other. In the challenge, Tennis Ball was riding on the Fourse with 3 other contestants and was the first one to get out, due to the Fourse tripping on Pin's token. Then, we saw what was in one of the notes during mid-air, however in the next scene, the writing is totally different and more messy, with the information targetted against the Fourse. This causes the Fourse become furious, then starts to chase Tennis Ball, and trying to beat him up. It is possible that One might have altered Pillow's research papers for Golf Ball's vision, as seen with the scene of Fanny and Tennis Ball, and right before the Fourse was enraged.

The optimal balance beam strategy[]

In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Pillow has shown research that hanging below the balance beam would guarantee them victory. She then claimed that she didn't do it because "half her studies were proven ineffective". However, this strategy still succeeds as they weren't up for elimination.

Four and X's baking skills[]

In "The Power of Four", Pillow has commented on Four and X's baking skills by claiming one should ask them if they want "the worst cake imaginable" after having a slice. It is unknown if the other contestants think Four and X's cakes are bad since only Pillow and Black Hole ate and commented on the cakes, and Black Hole can't taste anything, according to Four.

Snowball's strength[]

Also in "The Power of Four", Pillow experimented on Snowball's strength by attempting to shake him off the tree was holding on to. After a while she gets tired and comes to the conclusion that Snowball "Is strong and can hang on there".
